I had my brakes done 2 months ago so I wanted them to do a look over on the brake system and it had been 4000 miles since my tire rotation so I had them do a tire rotation as well as an oil change and all of it was done in less than an hour. The manager of the store is a phenomenal guy. He remembers me when I walk in. Great Value great customer service. Highly recommend

I definitely recommend this Brake Check! They are so friendly and professional. The customer service is on point. They got me in and out in no time, I mean I was there 30 minutes and my alignment and diagnostic was completed. They gave me helpful information regarding future repairs and up keep on my truck and I found that to be of great value. I will definitely be back when needed and refer my family and friends as well.

After spending $808.59 on breaks and rotors, my car had to be towed back to the facility on the same day of the initial repair date, October 24, 2021, because the wrong part was put on that caused the break component to lock up. After getting that fixed, I had to turn around and drop my car back off on October 29th due to some metal pieces that was rubbing together everytime I made a left or right turn. Im not sure whats going on with these guys, but I learned a very valuable lesson...go with my gut instinct, take it to the car dealership. Theyll never get another dime out of me!

The guy was super honest with me and told me the differences between for just structurally safe and operation discomfort. This helped me finalize my decision in what I wanted done on my car. Even if the store didnt make as much money from me by trying to squeeze my pockets from this encounter, they have earned my trust. This relationship makes them way more profit in the long run cuz now they have loyal customers like me and Im going to have my mothers and youngers siblings cars all done here in the future. They provide excellent service. After 3 oil changes the next one is 50% off, so I bring both of my vehicles here. It use to be FREE but 50% is just as good.They check my vehicle out well and let me know if something may need attention; without pressuring me to have it done immediately. I like that!I have recommended this place to my friends and family. I forgot to mention that they sent me a small gift of appreciation for being a long time customer. That was really nice of them, and it was appreciated!

I went into break check as I normally do every 3 months or miles required last week. This time like every other time they typically have great customer service. However, I left with the hood of my car on the passenger side dented and slightly bent up. Like how do I go in for an oil change and come out with a dented hood?? That’s ridiculous. They could have mentioned it to me because I’m fair and believe accidents happen but keeping a secret about it is far past frustrating. To disregard a customers car on the outside shows what type of company they really are. I really used to love this location but now I’m warning everyone because my car has been damaged.Update: my issue with the damage has still not been handled and I’m feeling like I’m being ignored. I was told I would be contacted by corporate over a month ago, I’ve called, stopped by and had photos taken. Still Nothing. Please beware.

Each time I visited this location the team was nice, informative, very knowledgeable and took pride in teaching me how to care for my vehicle. I really dont write views but because of the astonishing customer service I just want to take the time and say I had an appointment at 3,got there about 2:20pm was greeted and treated with respect, got my car taken care of and out of there by 3pm. Truly great people there will definitely be going back.

First time going to brake check and Mike was very helpful. Honest and had great customer service. I walked in needing my brakes checked because they were jerking and it had been a while since they were replaced. He insisted and showed all needed to be replaced. Service took a while but he kept us informed and I can honestly say my brakes and tires feel way much better than they did when I brought my car there. Thank you mike & your service team!

I thought my brake pads were wore down to the rivets and rubbing on the rotters. They inspected and found a pebble between the dust shield and the pad. Thanks for the honesty. No charge and sent me on my way.

Fixed my brake issues in a timely fashion. They explained all my issues I had with my vehicle. Other body shops would of been trying to get you to get everything done ASAP but Brake check let me do what my wallet could afford. I appreciated that alot.

I went in because of a recurring “low oil pressure” message. It was too soon for an oil change, but I wanted it checked. After checking, they did recommend an oil change. Quick and easy! As I drove away, the manager called to warn me of a low tire that needed to be replaced.

I just brought my car to this Brake Check because another auto repair place had told me that my brakes were 90% worn out on the front, 80% on the back and needed a brake job. (This same other auto repair place had told me the same thing on another one of my vehicles 2 months ago, and I had made the mistake of doing a brake job with them that ended up costing me $350 for just the front brakes).Anyway, I just asked Brake Check to check my brakes. Curtis took off all of my tires and my brake pads and examined them. He then showed me the old brake pads in comparison with some new brake pads. He said he did not think my brakes needed a brake job. He showed me what he thought 90% wearing would be, and it was nowhere close to where the brake pads were.This honest assessment by Curtis was exactly what I was looking for from an auto repair place. I will only be bringing my cars for brake jobs to Brake Check. I plan to bring my car back in a few months to have them check again and then I will have them do the brakes when it is necessary. I am so impressed. Great job!

Can I call straight check and Pearland Texas off of 288 they set up the appointment for about 4:00 p.m. took the car in they checked my brakes my rotors and everything else didnt want the car, the service was good the people was nice and they do a great job on your brakes and rotors so you need a good place to go to try to run off of 288 in Pearland Texas next to the Chevron gas station.

Probably the greatest most professional service I’ve ever had regarding my car. The professionals at this location explain issues well, the process to get your car seen is seamless, and they have a quiet comfortable waiting area. I felt like I left more knowledgeable about the issues my car was experiencing and I didn’t feel as if I was being pushed into paying for unnecessary services. I made an appointment for 9:30 a.m. online and they were ready for me as soon as I got there. They gave me a very reasonable quote for rearbrakes including the brake fluid flush and resurfacing of the rotors. A lifetime warranty for the brakes how much is fantastic.

They are awesome. They check and point out for you what needs to be done in order to work properly. Also, I like they way is now set up on mobile phone. Through a link the technician send you information with a picture. What is required for your vehicle and you make the selection.I wish brake check could bring a tire services, balance, rotation and bring your own tires to be replaced. It will save me tons of trips going back and forth on pits.Keep it up.

New to the area, I had front and rearwheel inspection and alignment completed. Staff explained before and after inspection results and recommended maintenance to maintain vehicle safety. The only place I trust!

Bad work. Took my explorer for oil change and had to take the explorer to my mechanic because of engine light. Found out had no air filter and most likely that damaged my catalytic converters. (Expensive)…. Now my f150 had missing hardware to my front brakes which they change like 3 months ago.

Bad experience, came to an appointment for brakes and tall dude with the dreads was rude. After he went to check for a spot, he went to remove a car from the garage and pressed on the acceleration too much. Crashed a guys handicapped car while reversing. So I was out... going to try a different place.😑 (btw, manager saw everything but he didnt seem to adress the situation very well).

They were very honest in telling me that I did not need brake repair at this time! The oil change was done quickly and the value is exceptional.

Craig and the staff are always friendly and professional. They tell you the truth to your vehicle’s diagnosis and will not upsale you on what you don’t need. They will not sabotage your vehicle in hopes of you returning. I wish they offered full service. I bring my vehicle here first to than Firestone or the dealership for brakes.

I brought by truck to this location back in Aug 2020 to get my brake pads and rotors done. Ended up having to get new pads and rotors resurfaced and spent $400 on that. 4 months later i bring the truck back because the brakes and squeaking loudly when I’m slowing down. They resurfaced the pads, yes the ones they just put on a few months before. Had to come back today for the same squeaking problem. Now they say the rotors are cracking and need to be replaced. They will try to rip you off. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use Brake Check!Update: i took my truck to a Ford dealership and they said my brakes and rotors were fine. No cracking like Brake Check told me. I’ll never use Brake Check ever again in life!! Bunch of CROOKS!!!

I like the way you text the information but I wish you could text information before you start the service and not after the service is done.The only reason Im not giving a 5 status because the place put bad oil in my car and my engine light came on and it diagnosed bad oil . Most places that Ive been too for tire pressure just kinda air them up and send me on with no thought to check to make sure its been done right. These guys did the complete opposite and triple checked so that I could make the long ride home confident that I would have no issues with my wheels.) Thank GOD for the guys Justin and Rodrick working at this location! These gentleman do things the right way; by the book. Justin performed alignment in which he corrected the wrong adjustments made by previous alignment done at HWY3 location by Will. Will advised a certain bolt was needed since the adjustment was already maxed out. It is apparent Will was wrong as adjustments were made without any new components. This is my third such incident with HWY3 location misperforming alignment. Good to have at least some Brake Check locations like Pearland that can be trusted.

Went in on Saturday after leaving the dealership with a $800 scare estimate for replacing an oil filter hosing cap. Curtis and Derrick gave me the confidence to come back on Monday after they get the part, and they would take care of it. Derrick did exactly that, no problem whats so ever. I got an oil change, 3 filters changed and an alignment(under the lifetime warranty)for less the $100. Thank you both Derrick and Curtis for your professionalism and your customer satisfaction.

I bought new tires for my car, and I thought I needed to get an alignment. I took my car to Brake Check, and they checked it out, and they said you dont need an alignment. I was amazed at their honesty.

Brought my vehicle in on September the 3rd 2020 for a oil change and steering alignment. My car at the time was pulling to the right and needed maintenance. I made a appointment and after 4 hours or so they said my vehicle was ready. I drove my vehicle about 3 miles down the road and could tell now that the car was pulling substantially more and obviously was not fixed and now worse. I returned and told the technicians that it was not fixed and the car was actually pulling a lot more than when I brought it to them. Technician replied he had three of his best guys look at it and said the computer was correct and that maybe my shocks where going out on the right side of the vehicle. Today I had time to bring my vehicle into another shop to get aligned and I have the before and after alignment diagnostics. From the image you can see my steering was never properly aligned from Brake Check. Quality and technicians at this location are not being truthful or require more training at their trades. Also maybe the owner of this business needs to have his machines recalibrated because I believe they are off. At the end I never received my receipt via email or text messages like they claimed since they where going paperless. I am more upset about my time wasted and going forward, also if they where being dishonest with me; will never use Brake check for services in the future. I will share this story to everyone I know.

I got brake service and received professional service. The next day I thought my oil was leaking. I called the store and Derrick picked up and told me to bring my truck in right away. It was already after closing hours but he wanted to make sure that my problem was fixed so he waited after business hours to check it out. It was a false alarm but it gave me the opportunity to see what great customer service they have and Derrick is wonderful!

Sully (Sullivan) is an exceptional worker. He talked through everything with me and explained what was needed and why my brakes had to be changed. He gave me options and was very patient with my questions. I’m back for my second oil change and will be coming again. Marcus is also a great guy, very personable. Great experience.Thank you!

Made an appointment the day before arrived and dropped off vehicle, they text me an assessment within 15 minutes that I received by text. Called me to tell me exactly what was needed and what could wait. The quoted amount and time to be ready were accurate. Very pleased with the service. Even had the option to pay online it was very Covid safe!

Service was all good but I have to bring the CAR back the next day because they didnt change the oil ( they gave me free pass on the next one though) though the damage might be uncomparable if I havent check.

Literally took 2 hours for oil change and the manager “mich “ wrecked another customer car and that delayed my process even longer.

I had changed my front brakes and resurfaced the rotors but every time I braked brakes made noise. They recommended changing the rotors, the issue still persists. Don’t recommend this place. They don’t provide solutions, very disappointed

I came in with a lifetime alignment warranty Id bought for my Nissan in 2011, 160,000 miles ago. Id forgotten about it since 2012 and recently found it in a pile of papers. They honored it and gave me an excellent alignment, even straightening out my steering wheel so that it is level when Im going straight. Not bad for three ($3) dollars! Stephen, Curtis and John were my service folks and they were very good.

My appointment was at 8:30 March 6, 2021. They took my truck back at 9:10. Took tires off at 9:30. Manager spoke to me at 10:25 about my brakes. Told him only to do back brakes and oil change. One problem, they start on one car, then go to another, and so on. This is where the problem starts.My truck was sitting, I asked the manager how much longer, his reply I had to order the part.A young man start working on oil change. I saw him go back and forward about 3 times. Then he went and got a flashlight and a ladder. I thought it was odd.Its 11:45 went to the manager again and told him to put everything back on, I had to leave. They were taking their time putting brakes back on. In 5 mins. your parts is here.I I went in the inside after the crowd left. It was 2 ladies talking about they had messed up their cars. It was their second time coming back. If I heard this before putting parts on, I souls have left.The guy put new pads on, he ask me to come over. He said you have a leak behind the new rotor that I just paid $110; your brakes are not going to last that long. I said, you think you should have told me that first. Small amount leaking from the back (behind rotor). Nevr dripped at home.I just had new tires put on my truck. Evety thing was balanced. The ride home truck wanted to go to the right. When I made it home after 4 1/2 hours; got out the truck and oil is leaking. I called back to let the manger know my oil was leaking. When I took it to them it wasnt leaking. The manager told me to check the oil stick and see if sny oil was in my truck. Wrong statement, I told him you think you should have checked it before I left Brake Check and drove 34 miles back home. I let it cool down and checked it. Oil stick said low oil.I called customer, they said to take it back Sunday morning for 10. Staff member came and got truck told him about the oil. He apologized for someone else mistake. He worked on my truck. When he finished, he said you are taken care of. I said can you tell me what was wrong. It was old oil in the pan and I clean it up and change oil again. I feel it was a cover up from the first staff member.March 17, I went nto LJ and came back home it sound like dripps of rain hitting in the pan.March 19 while stepping on the brakes, you can feel knocking with brakes.I emailed corp and Mrs. Valerie has been azaming. Shes trying to fix the issue. She will pass information to the VP. I told her not going back to that location.
