****8/29/21: Update on this review: Dawn went above and beyond to make this right. We would like to personally thank Dawn for helping us trust Gaeta for any future service again.We came yesterday to get the form that needs to be filled out and spoke directly to Carlos who told us that we would be able to rent a van from Home Depot not a Box Truck and even showed us a picture to bring the material we were going to dump. We went ahead rented the van, loaded the material we were going to discard, came at 4:30am to make the line to wait until they open at 6:30am only for Carlos to say “sorry” he gave us the wrong information. We feel so belittled and mocked at with this whole situation. Hope no one has to go through this. Wasted money, wasted effort, wasted time. We were treated very inhumanly. To them this seemed like a big joke. Carlos should be fired!!!

Very poor customer service every time you call you are speaking with a different person, company can be ran better by pre school kids

My garbage is consistently not picked up. I have called at least 5 times and left messages with the manager and there is still garbage on my front yard that has not been picked up. Not do I receive a call back

Constantly leaving trash on our streets every week. Pelham road neighbors in Wayne are reporting it with pictures and will continue to shame them until they stop the bs

Such a delight dealing with this company. My husband had so many files that needed to be shredded and he called Gaeta. They were courteous, here on time, left my driveway clean--no residue or paper flying. Price was very reasonable and we would highly recommend them. I know we will be using them again In the near future!!! Thank you very much for your professionalism!!!

Good experience, quick in and out as long as you get there EARLY. I got there 6:30 am and was on my way out by 7:10. Go after 7:30-8 and youll be there at least an hour.

Have repeatedly broken our garbage cans and thrown away our lids due to carelessness and the customer service when trying to contact their office is HORRIBLE!!! Rude workers/employees who do not want to take responsibility for their actions/company and when trying to explain a situation to them, they tell you to send an email to them because they cannot help you over the phone or respond with “how do I know your telling the truth and this really happened” and “go file a police report”. Terrible service and attitude from everyone all around!!

My family has used Gaeta for as long as I can remember. The customer service is beyond exceptional, very professional.The drivers are so nice, courteous, clean and very careful. They have never just dropped a dumpster and took off. They make sure it is in the right place and everything is ok and safe.I have never had a billing issue, no surprise charges and everything was done as agreed.I highly recommend this company.

Gaeta Recycling went out of their way to help me shred a basement full of old business files. Even though it was a one-time project, they provided excellent customer service and arranged to shred all the papers on a day and at a time that worked for me. Shout out to Blair for his quick response and for being awesome!

Easiest shredding! We used Gaeta Recycling for onsite shredding for about 2400 lbs of paper. Blair and his helper finished the job in less than a half hour. Seamless and easy! Highly recommend

My garbage hasnt been picked up in two weeks and I am on a weekly pickup schedule. Called 3x this week and keep getting told someone will get back to me. Have now been on hold in excess of 30 minutes because I insisted on waiting on hold until someone can give me an answer as to when they will be coming. Reps are nice but seem to be unable to give you any definitive answers and pass you along to another person instead over and over who also have no answers.

Our town uses Gaeta for our solid waste and recycling services. The men working my route, show true professionalism in their job that I have to say is outstanding. Gaeta Company should be proud to have men of such caliber representing them.

The crew missed one pail of recyclables on Wednesday am & I was lucky to catch up with the truck, told the young man about this & sure enough they doubled back to pick up the missed pail Very satisfied!! Kudos to the crew R.A Hubbard

Our office is very satisfied with the service they offer our company with the shredding & garbage removal ! Blair the driver on our route is amazing & very helpful, courtesy ! The owner Mike even came out to our location and made sure all our needs were taken care of very nice guy & very professional . I highly recommend them ! Very reasonable prices as well !!

Live in Wayne. Horrible crew on my route. Complained about them throwing brand new garbage cans and now they are retaliating. Not taking trash and now they pull bags out of cans, rip them and leave trash in the street. Used to have a great crew! I coplained to Gaeta and this is what happened. Next step is to complain to my town. Maybe then Gaeta will do something about this crew.

I used them for dumpster rental in my previous house. There were no issues at all .Actually they sent a bigger dumpster then what I paid for because they didnt have the smaller one. Very happy about that.I moved to a new town and they are the private trash collector. They are awesome. They take pretty much anything .For the first few weeks after moving in I left about 7-10 bags every week and they took them without flinching. In my old town you would have to give your first born to throw out anything more then kitchen garbage.

Drivrr was polite courteous and very informative and I highly recommend this company and will use them again whenever I can

Route drivers do what they want. They dont always pick up garbage and then lie to management and say garbage was not out. Customer Service Manager is AWFUL. He will not help the customer. This is a pitiful company and they should overhaul the entire operation and fire their entire customer service team and start from scratch. Shameful!

I drove past one of their trucks and a rock came flying off and hit my windshield, cracking it. I left voicemails and sent them messages and got no response. This company lacks social conscience.

The worst. Absolutely terrible, false advertising about what they actually take on their website. Had the town call numerous times, mentioned they come back later for larger goods. Not true. This was on ongoing issue for a week. Spoke to the supervisor who was very argumentative and rude. I brought up the fact that one of items they had to pick up was blocking my driveway and being 9 months pregnant this is hazardous. Again, the supervisor tried to tell me they come back later which clearly is not the case or true and told me to take it up with the mayor. They don’t even deserve 1 star.

Terrible customer service the lady from accounting she is rude and she will raise her voice when you talk to her nice and explain that you have a problem with their billing .they send an invoice of over weight 5.5 months later expecting me just to say ok charge my card .i asked why they send the invoice so late and she give some crazy answers .just if you use them pay cash or cancel your credit card so they do not use it later on for whatever reason .

Have home surveillance video of one of recycle collectors peeing on my property. This is the second time in 18 months.

Came to pick up trash and the trash fell while they where picking the big barrel and when it fell they DID NOT pick it up and left a mess

Customer service is horrible the people running the scale outside even worse. The attitudes and if you do not know anyone or guve them money on the side you will be waiting on line for 2 hours even you get there at 6am. They pick and choose who goes in and who waits. Gaeta recycling
