We have nothing but good things to say about our experience with A-One Refrigeration. We were referred to the company by a family member after losing A/C in last weeks heat wave. It was time for an upgrade on our 30 year old HVAC system. They had an associate out the next day and our new system was installed a few days later. Other companies were booked out until the end of the month for installations! Nick was personable and broke down models in a honest and clear manner. The prices they quoted us were very fair and competitive. They even brought us a portable A/C unit to keep us cool until the new system was installed. The installers we interacted with were all very friendly and professional. It was evident that costumer service and satisfaction is a priority. We were very impressed with the entire experience and will be recommending A-One to others in the future.

AOne came in and saved the day. We had a clog in one of our drain pipes at night and noticed our secondary was pouring out water. Called and got an immediate response. They came out the next day and a couple hours later fixed it and upgraded the connection line to the furnace. The tech was professional and took his time explaining what the causes can be and was thorough with how the mechanism works with the drain system. Gave me some great pointers. Will definitely use them again.

These guys are awesome! They work hard to help with your needs. They answer your questions and concerns. They do not suggest equipment it services that you do not need. They are kind and thankful for being called upon. They were able to help us have what we needed in this awful heat in a very timely manner. We are nice and comfortable with a new system for heating and AC when our old one failed.We also received a letter from them expressing humility and gratitude for allowing them to service our system. I have never received anything like that before. A great company. We will continue to use this company.

I have a couple positive experiences with A-One. The first is they found a major issue with my condenser where two other large local companies completely missed and why my upstairs unit was severely underperforming. The second was my rental property AC unit failed and I had to put the renters up in a motel during the heat dome. They had the whole 50 year old unit replaced with a great system by the end of the week. Great, Professional, and totally legit. Came through when I needed them the most. I would totally recommend to my friends and family.

They relocated and installed a new A/C, replaced Furnace and changed thermostat. The crew had the old units removed for us. The crew was very organized and worked well together. We have nothing but excellent things to say about the crew, the representative Nick and the work crew lead Justin, were very knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you!

Terrible experience. My sisters ac unit is always having issues and no matter what they always say it fixable but “we have to wait for the parts”. This is EVERY SINGLE TIME. They just don’t want to replace it even though there’s a warranty on it! I get it that there’s not always stock of every item but this is just ridiculous. Now it’s 115 outside and they had to rent hotel rooms because of the same bs. Do not recommend them at all.

Used my previous service for over 20 years. When they retired they recommended A-One. What a great recommendation! When I called about a rental that I had with an HVAC problem they scheduled for the next day but called back in the afternoon with an opening. The technician explained the problem, gave me all the options then completed the work the same day. They are now my HVAC service for the next 20 years.

I cannot say enough about A1!! We were referred to them by our friend and became apart of their tune up program. They came out to do our semi annual inspection; found a crack that was leaking gas. Ended up needing to be fully replaced. It had just snowed! It’s unbelievably cold outside. We are a multi generational household with all ages from 2 years old to 88. It’s supposed to snow all weekend.These guys busted their rumps to find us a unit in stock, and get it to us SAME day!!!They were originally going to come back Monday, because that’s when the unit was going to be available. Our house was already freezing inside.Their manager found a unit in stock locally; when the gentlemen were don’t with their prior job, instead of clocking off and heading home for the cold weekend, they came to our house and installed the new unit!!They worked until 10 PM! Stayed to make sure it ran appropriately, AND mopped our front entry from all the snow they tracked in and out!!!!I simply can’t say enough! I made a call when my gas heating system malfunctioned last week. Tech came out the next day and it was found that the system had become a major health risk and that I was lucky I called. I was given a very reasonable quote and the next day a new unit was installed. All of the techs involved were very helpful and professional. I would highly recommend this company to everyone 😊

What a godsend Tyson was. We originally had our service scheduled for Monday for just a routine inspection. On Thursday our AC went out and it was well into the 90s. A-One was able to move our service to Friday and got a technician out only 2 hours after calling in.Tyson provided very professional service, detailed what was a critical repair and what else we should do to make the system last for many more years. Our AC was fixed with 2 hours and we are simply so happy to have it back for the weekend! Will definitely continue to do business with A-One and Tyson.

We discovered that our hot water heater was leaking. Our first call was to A-One they were here very quickly, Chad gave us a estimate. and began work immediately. He worked hard to find a water heater that would work in the space we had. Got the work done quickly. While he was here my husband had him replace a outdoor faucet that had been leaking all work was done quickly and professionally. After he left we found one faucet wasnt working properly. Had a water heater replaced, but the person doing the quote made no effort to measure what I needed. Had wrong size the first time, but they had a replacement the next day. Then had electrical panel replaced which did not go smoothly nor was I informed of any of the work, placements or options, which for a $3800 job, a heads up before anything happened would’ve been ok. I honestly feel that because my house is older, I wasn’t given options and just have to settle with what I got. Not happy about that. Grounding stakes and wires are still exposed near a walkway. They’re nice people, but my advice is to shop around, ask ANY and ALL questions, get your options and get a general idea of what is being done before the work starts. I don’t feel bad about the value, I have a bad experience with this company due to lack of any and all communication about the work being done.

I called on a Saturday morning, got patched through to Tyler, who was out in the field at the time, and he quickly answered and added me to his list of stops he already had scheduled for the day. He called ahead and showed up, somehow, within an hour.He performed tests and did the technician things quickly and efficiently, identified the problem (freon leak), gave me insight into the tests and fees associated with them, fixed the leak, tested his fix, and recharged my system within a couple hours.Once the work was finished, Tyson gave me a full breakdown of the charges and had an invoice emailed to me in minute. I called for a repair of broken sink. I was able to get an appointment within a few days. The repairman was able to come before the window I was given and the office called me first to verify that it was okay to come early. Once he was here, he was efficient and fixed my sink promptly. Crooks....had them come look at my system and they told me it would cost $1600 to solder and recharge my system and that I should buy a new system. Called Jordan Mechanical Group to get a second opionion and he fixed it for $600. Don’t use A-One unless you want to get robbed blind. Highly recommend Brent with Jordan mechanical Group. A-1 Refrigeration was referred to me by a friend of mine. And they lived up to their name. A-1. During one of the hottest weeks of the year, over 100 degrees for about 12 days in a row, my old system just gave up completely. The house was about 92-94 degrees during the day. I gave them a call and Kyle, the owner, came out quickly and looked over what I had. He gave me the news, (something i kinda already knew) I needed an entirely new system, new heat pump, coils everything, plus it needed to be upgraded from the old R-22 system. He gave me a competitive estimate and even told me that Tri-Cities Federal Credit Union can help with the financing if needed. After only a couple days of melting, his crew came out and started to install the new system. They were very knowledgeable and helped me understand what they were doing every step of the way. They even checked the piping, dampers, and drain pipe parts that were already in the house that didnt need replacing. They found a couple things that were not quite as efficient as they could be. So without anything extra they fixed them. The system works fantastic. I would recommend A-1 Refrigeration to anyone needing help with heating and cooling. Not only do they know their stuff, but the lead guy Jonny that came out, was very experienced, professional, and one of the nicest guys. Thank you A-1

If u want to throw away $185 dollars to have a technician come out an not do anything except try to sale u a whole new unit....give them a call, they wont refund your money but send a supervisor technician that cant even be there on time when u have someone waiting because your working! DO NOT USE A-One Refrigeration & Heating!!!!! I had them come out to look at my nonfunctioning AC Unit and the technician blatantly tried to take advantage of us. He charged my wife an extra $50 (in addition to the call regular call out fee) when I told him over the phone that I didnt want any work to be done. Long story short his bill for us to fix the AC was $1,600 and I had it fixed by another company for $180. I dont know about the companys products but the technician blatantly sales pitched us with A-Ton of stuff we obviously didnt need and lied to my wife charging her more than him and I just spoke about. I DO NOT recommend this company or at the very least, this technician.

Be prepared for a sales call when a service call was requested. The tech identified that the capacitors were bad in the AC unit, but tried to get us interested in a itinerary of add- ons and maintenance that was over$3,000. Even suggested selling us a new unit. To actually replace the two bad capacitors, they quoted $270. I calledTrane in Spokane and ordered the parts. One was $8.86 and the other was $15.04. Looks to me like about 30 minutes labor involved to do the job.

Shady business practices and red flags from the start. Had someone come out for an estimate to run a gas line. I already have gas in my home just wanted a line run for my stove. We have a crawl space with access. Tech didnt even go in the crawl space. Told me he would have to run a line from the meter outside even though gas is already in the crawl space. Then said he wasnt able to provide an estimate at the inspection and I was contacted over 24hrs later with an estimate for the work. The quote was seriously one line email stating a price well outside my research of cost. I requested an itemized quote and received an insulting reply from the owner stating I wouldnt understand because his price was so fair. At this point even if it was a fair price this disabled army vet will be taking her business elsewhere.

Are these car salesman working on air conditioners? Had our unit for 6 years and has needed a capacator replaced a few times. Our unit was under warranty, but they said the warranty is no good unless we sign up for the maintence plan through them at $400/a year plus a $125 service fee which warranty didnt cover as well. After they left, I got a hold of the manufacture to find out if we had to purchase a maintence plan for warranty to be good. They said that is not true, it is not required and warranty is still in effect. They scammed my mom for 5 years and so many more people out of a lot of money. I see a class action in the future.......

BUYER BE WARE!!!Unfortunately there is not an option for 1/8 star. Read below...We had an issue with our AC unit and called A-One to come out on a Saturday. For $89.95 they agreed to come out and look at our system. Low an behold, the result was a grim $2300+ bill to replace parts, charge the unit and put a sealant to help fix a leak they say we had. We decided not to go with the repairs, look at other options if we were going to have to spend that kind of money. In the mean time, A-One said that a supervisor would be contacting us to discuss options for repair or even replacing our broken unit.We contacted another company to assess our problem in the hopes of finding a cheaper solution. The other guy came out and could not charge our system and told us our system was full, or at least full enough to prevent charging the system. (Our system pressure was too high to charge.) He also looked at our system and it appeared to be in good condition with the exception of a capacitor for the unit. We got the part ($20 plus tax) and the unit is working fine. The system is cooling just fine as I write this review with the new $20 part installed. Apparently ethical business practices of A-One leave A LOT to be desired.We cant wait to talk to A-One about their business practices. We may end up filing a complaint with the state based on their assessment of the problem and especially the outrageous costs they say was required to fix our problem when the real solution was a proper diagnosis and a $20 part. The A-One supervisor never called though we were assured 2 days in a row that someone would be calling soon. That was 3-days ago.If you are looking for AC repair, contractor work, emergency repairs or ANYTHING related to AC work, DO NOT GO WITH A-ONE! They will rip you off and smile doing it. As the first line states: BUYER BE WARE!!!

Rigo was excellent finding the issues and Kyle was great to work with for scheduling an options to replace my HVAC. For the first time since buying my house new in 1998, I can feel heat from my registers!

As a homeowner, I like to do a lot of things myself simply for the reason that I always know the quality of work that went in. However, that doesnt always work, and when I call in the experts, I want to know that they would treat my home with the thoroughness that they would treat theirs. That is exactly the experience I received from Kyle at A-One Refrigeration and every single person on his team. If you want a team of professionals who will treat you and your home with the utmost respect, you need to give them a call. Workmanship is top notch, and unlike some other HVAC contractors who may simply want to take shortcuts or try to upsell you, A-One will properly assess your home to make sure of what you actually need. Whether its a small job or, as in my case, a complete HVAC and water heating replacement, these guys will take care of you like family.

I made the correct choice when we decided to replace our older(1993) gas furnace with the Amana from A-1 Refrigeration. Our entire system including AC was changed, and has worked perfectly for well over a year now.We have the largest Amana system for a large house.Compared to local bidders of other products, we saved about $5,000.The Amana is fantastic...near silent, lower gas bills, minimal service calls. And the service if needed, is right there!

A-One has been maintaining our HVAC systems and my mothers for several years now. We have only had good experiences with them. This winter, sadly, one of our 19 year old furnaces decided to call it quits. (Not convenient timing with the record-breaking snowfall and cold temperatures!)Kyle and Alfa were both very gracious and understanding with our dilemma and were patient and helpful with the process of replacement. They offered to bring us space heaters to help out while we thought about which of the reasonable financing options to go with.The technicians who came to do the work were kind and professional. Its very nice to have a warm house again!
