1st time there. Clean, lots of things I buy at other stores much more affordable. Cute Fall & Halloween stuff is out. Sugar Skull stuff! Woot woot! Im looking forward to making this one of my stops.

Pretty nice store with lots of different items. Shelves were stocked and they had some neat and different items to choose from. Some aisles I avoided, though, as top many items left on floors, making it a real safety hazard especially for disabled senior citizens as myself and my husband. We did enjoy shopping here, however.

Today I was able to sift thru all of the prices and found lots of cool odds n ends. Though not everything is 99 cents, prices ranged from $9.99 on down. Ive bought food stuffs there and they are good deals.

I love coming here, and my shopping experience is always great until today. The cashier who rang me up was very rude, she never smiled or greeted me. She tossed my items around and looked like she was having a bad day or maybe she just hates her job i dont know. She handed me my bags and didn’t say anything like thank your or have a nice day. Worst customer service i’ve ever had here.

My preferred location over the store on Almeda Genoa and a very good clean store for a quick buy of quality vegetables for some good affordable home stew cooking on a cold winter day. You can find a few things here but not all things like mushrooms, so you do not expect it and vegetables are low priced as it should be. No big retail here. This place was once a grocery store gone south. No more. In the early 2000s it changed guard and has remained that way since. Only bargain shopping has prevailed here in this building. That is the only popular reason for its success.

It was spacked but I did get what I needed I was looking for disinfectant wipes. The whole social distancing could have been better I believe the lines could go by faster it wouldnt be a probably with the store being so over occupied.

When outside of my area of town, I like to stop at 99c only stores to see just how much different it is compared to the one by my house..this one seem to be a lot bigger and has a lot of things my store doesnt have..like ginger ale...

This .99 cent store is wonderful!Its huge & clean(restroom too)!They always have new merchandise that other .99 cent stores dont have!We drive across town to shop here!The cashiers are ready to check you out so you dont have to wait long!

My mom really loves this store. Shes on a fixed income and she comes here for all her minor needs. This store has everything from knick knacks to alcohol. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I like this store. Gave it four stars. Used to have a greater selection. However my dollar goes far in this place.

Its called 99 cent olnly store. Inside all over the walls it says 99 cents only but what I discovered is that over half the store is made up of items that are more that 99 cents. In fact some items were $9.99. False advertising.

Im from Pasadena and I drive to this location. They have one of the best array of choices for a dollar store. And I love the quality of fresh food they have. Will always shop here.

I was able to find what I wanted & I didnt have to wait in a long time to get out.

My go to store for almost anything. They even have a good selection of breads muffins and sweets. All the old school and hood snacks too. I recommend ✊

Great selection. Very clean. Organized. Staff is extra nice. Love the bargains. I love coming here and spending a couple of hours looking at everything. One of the best things they have are very cute reading glasses for around 2.

The store is always clean and the staff is usually very friendly and helpful, but today made me rethink my decision to shop here.While the cashier, Christopher, was checking out two people before me as well as myself, he had his mask pulled down to his chin, leaving his nose and mouth completely exposed. Looking down the line at the other cashiers, they all had masks on, as did the other customers. This blatant disregard for the safety of the customers and other staff members is appalling.

I would give no stars if able. I was at the register in Pain. I was yelling that my stomach was bothering immensely. The Manager turned around and just stared at me. Rude as Hell, didnt say anything just stared. What kind of Establishment is this.

I love the 99 cent only store. Brand new items for much less. And if something is over 99 cents its clearly marked.

I LOVE THIS STORE!!It has definitely come in handy with their wide variety of products. I really like that they expanded their food sections and other ones as well to include a lot more products than before. As a broke med student, it really helps to find some of my favorite snacks, make up products, party supplies, and other household knick knacks for less than other major retailers. 99 Cents Only stores helps me stretch my already tight dollar even more.

Store has made some changes inside that makes store look bigger cleaner and safer .. well stocked. Great produce . Big parking lit conveniently viewable from street.. only thing I would suggest is cashiers being more friendly, greet customers instead of looking 😠 as if customer is bothering them.... but overall love this place❤❤❤

They always have such a great selection of great finds! I love going there because you find amazing deals on so many products. They arent like a regular dollar store that sells just $1 quality things. They have typically sell normal brands and items that are still on the shelf at giant chain retails. They have such a great variety of things.

I’m very disappointed in the workers and the customers in the store they are not wearing their mask correctly and today I went and I felt unsafe because a whole family came in without a mask they were coughing and touching everything and the workers seen them and they didn’t bother to say anything to them so pls fix this and I will longer go to this no more

Even though it was busy the store was clean, organized and well stocked. The cashier was very pleasant and friendly.

I go here at least once a week! ..if not more:)! The new changes made to the overall store layout are nice! It opens up the store, and makes it seem quite larger and it really made things look and feel more organized/tidy! I guess you can say I’m a regular here haha..most of the cashiers recognize me when I stop in! Everyone is usually very welcoming and this store has a very friendly approachable staff! I highly recommend stopping by!

Much of the merchandise is of such poor quality. The food things are priced at above 99 cents, and cost more than a comparable item at Walmart.

I always come here and binge shop for almost anything, specially for seasonal decorations! However today I felt discriminated because I wanted to try their selection of sweet red wine, unfortunately I only had my employment authorization card that comes from DACA. Many may not know this is a working permit that allows young children brought to the USA before the age of 18, and allows me to continue my education and legally work, so yes I pay taxes. The manager did not accept it and wanted my TX Drivers license that I did not have in hand. I have never had this issue as this form of ID anywhere it has always been accepted including DPS, this is government issued ID. Anyways I will not continue to be a customer.

I like to shop at this 99 cent store. My mother and I come in quite a bit and like to shop there. I usually find what I want and am satisfied with my purchases. However, this past month I purchased a small can of Hormel no beans chili - with the microwavable plastic top. A couple of weeks later, I removed the plastic top so that I could heat the product up and the metal top of the can was full of grey/green mold. I was disappointed with the my purchase, so I called the 99 cent store several times and no one answered, only a fax machine noise picks up. My suggestion to anyone shopping there, is to inspect a food product well before purchasing it. I just didnt expect this to be a bad can of the product, because the plastic lid had covered the mold up when I bought it.

Plenty of lanes open during rush hour got in and out quickly! Though I bought more than I originally came for. lol friendly service too from the short haired female cashier. :)

12/05/2016 Updated: I think this is one of the better Dollar Stores in the Area. I have found that many of the Discount stores in this area have too many items with are not a dollar.This is a pretty big store. It has a lot of food items (I would say about half of the store) The amount of non-consumables is good enough were you can generally find what youre looking for. The Staff tends to keep to themselves with is not a bad thing if youre just browsing.

So much fun and great savings. Fresh fruit and vegetables at low prices, milk, eggs, bread, frozen foods, juices and sodas, paper goods, health and beauty items, soaps and household cleaners, school supplies, and so much more. Cashiers are fast and friendly.

Tuesday this week. The employees(cashiers) were so busy and when they requested help over the intercom. 2 employees were walking so slowly and talking about how theyll get there when they get there. And that the customers should have came at a different time if we wanted balloons with our other items.

Decent place to buy your cleaning supplies

I love this place! Its like Wal-Mart but a dollar store! We go there when we dont feel like paying a arm and a leg from small items. Awesome selection, can find almost everything you need. Great place to get tubberware, plates, spices, pantry staples, kid toys, greeting cards. Much better than the family dollar next door

Good stock of various items. Some Campbells soups for a dollar with over a year expiration dates. Good supply of bicycle items. Wines cheap (3-4 $) .

Everything I needed was available. The main thing that made my visit bad was the restroom. It was filthy. No toilet paper and no paper towels. I think employees focus on making the store look clean and completely neglect the restrooms. I was completely disgusted after going to the mens room. Other than that, the store looked good.

Loved this store very nice staff lucy was the nicest cashier you can have so sweet and the prices here cant be beat 1.00 for a family size pack of oreos amazing. Will definitely go back! I recommend this place to anyone wanting to save some money and have amazing service.

I was there 10 minutes to 9 PM today, December18, 2019. I was told by an employee to do fast shopping as theyll be closing in 10 minutes, whereas their website mentioned closing time is 11:00 PM for their store at Fairmont pkwy in Pasadena, TX

I usually dont have an issue with this place. I got lightbulbs and a bottle of water today. Then I stood at the register, I was the only one in line, for a good 30 sec to a minute as the two cashiers had a conversation before one of them came to the register to ring up my purchase. I was in the line of sight, which made it worse.

They have the worst customer service cashiers, there is one there that has been there a long time Patricia an will only acknowledge her friends and not customers. They have mixed an incredible amount of items that are not .99 throughout the store and most of the items that are .99 can be found elsewhere for less. The few things I do get ai have to get from the Almeda store because they do not stock much.

Good place to shop if on a budget. & has inexpensive holiday items such as f St Patricks Day & Easter.

My granddaughter and find all kinds of goodies at great prices everytime we shop there!

One of my favorite stores for all kinds of craft supplies. Also has a cooler and produce. Recently remodeled.

Always have great nick nacks for gift baskets. And have so much cheap things for a great price. Even clothes.

This place is everything that I expect (and what I assume others expect,) from a Dollar Store. The things that I have purchased from here that were good were canned goods, tortillas, bagged, shredded cheese, chips, sodas, and candy. They have mexican candy here too, which I am very happy about. There are only a few places that I have been able to find mexican candy in this area. I do not shop here regularly anymore because I dont need to now, but if I had an emergency, I could stop by for those items that I mentioned earlier in this review. Most of the people that I encountered working here were nice enough.
