I come here for every smog check and sometimes oil change, if I dont do it myself. Friendly, honest, straightforward, efficient. Not the cheapest, but I pay for quality service and to support a small business. Call for appointment for an oil change. They usually dont require an appointment for a smog check. The staff wear masks.

This place deserves way more stars! I could not believe how quickly they checked my car. This location is in an area of Pasadena with which I was unfamiliar. The lady who helped me could tell I was having trouble finding the entrance and patiently directed me into the driveway. From there, it was a breeze. They scanned my DMV notice and checked my car within about 10 minutes, including handing me the receipt and DMV paperwork. Very affordable pricing and the people in the shop are all so professional and friendly. I highly recommend them for a smog check. I will definitely recommend and will return in the future. I wish Id caught the ladys name!

To be honest, I have never been greeted and welcomed nicely anywhere in Pasadena like this place. 6 star is what they deserve. Smog check my car in 5 minutes without waiting. The owner is very humble and genuinely nice person.

These guys are awesome. I have been getting all my smog checks from this place for years throughout all my cars! They do it so quick, that I dont even have to think. No BS. In fact, i just show up with the DMV papers and next thing i knew, its already done - forwarded to the DMV with receipt and paper in hand all ready to go.Remember, you just have to pay for the actual registration too.And something else, im not sure if they still do it, but it was my first car many moons ago with a check engine light that would never go off, and when i had it checked, he noticed the gas cap was missing from my tank, so he replaced it with a compatible one he had in his shop - i drove around it a bit, and it was gone! So... if you have a check engine light and your gas cap is missing, you probably need one or its likely loose!

Showed up just before 8 am and they were already open for business. Shop was immaculate and service was so fast we hardly had time to sit down before we were signing our paperwork and out the door. The team of 2 here is simply wonderful. Very reasonable price considering this level of service. There is really no reason to go anywhere else in Pasadena to get your car smogged.

This guy is extremely quick. His shop is very clean and has a lot of magazines for you to browse to your delight. I came in with a sandwich and once I finished it he was done. He was nice enough to turn my car around so I can drive off. Great place to get smogged. Tell him you found his business online and he might give you a discount.

I visited this place for the first time last month and watched the owner change my oil and his wife checked the fluids and air in my tires. The last place Accurate Auto works in Pasadena put the wrong washer on my pan and the oil had leaked everywhere. The Owner explained everything to me and had his wife go to the nearby Volvo dealer to get the correct washer. Awesome experience - I wont go anywhere else! It was more expensive but worth it! THANK YOU.

Pasadena Test Only & Smog Check is amazing. Youre in and out in a heart beat. I had a very busy day planned, I needed to get my smog test done in order to renew my registration. I went in was greeted by the owner he took my vehicle in, passed the test and submitted the info to the DMV. All I have to do is pay my renewal.Excellent service. 5 STARS all the way!

Alan & his shop are a true goldmine in the seedy, frustrating world of the California SMOG system. I have been taking my cars there for years now and wouldnt consider going anywhere else. He is fair and helpful, even going so far as to actively try to help me solve problems on older 1980s cars. He is happy to explain technicalities/sniffer results on pre-2000 vehicles and you can learn a lot if you are a gearhead or even just interested.Dont hesitate to go here for your checks; hell sometimes I wish I had to smog more often just so I can go hang out with Alan and learn more about emissions. We all have to do it every two years; might as well enjoy the process.

I went to this Smog Test Center last weekend. luckily, there was only one car already at the place getting a test, and I didnt have to wait very long to have my car checked (in and out less than 20 minutes). However, three or four cars arrived shortly after me, so I imagine they had longer wait times. Although the cars were lined up and the guy working there was very busy, he was extremely courteous, friendly, and communicative to everyone who was waiting.(They have nice little waiting room with magazines,PC,WiFi and tea coffee and candys and more...very clean) Also, I mentioned that I found his place on Google and Facebook, and I got $20 off my smog check! Ill definitely come back here when I have to get my next smog check in two years.
