I’ve been going here for years to get an inspection. They been good so far, but this last time I didn’t like how they did the inspection.During the inspection, they took out my cabin and engine air filters to show me that they needed to be replaced. I just replaced them a few months ago so that’s BS. I just want honesty.Also, I understand that they were doing this as a courtesy, but I didn’t consent to this. Or at least let me know they you’re going to check the air filters so I can opt-in or out.

The guys there are very knowledgeable and speedy service when I went in for an oil change. I had my check engine light on and diagnosed my issue and got my quote for repairs before I left. I have gone to them a few times in the past and will definitely be coming back for a long time for services on both mine and my wifes car. Keep up the good work guys.

The slowest oil change I’ve ever had in my life. When I arrived, there was only one other vehicle there. It took them over 40 min for just an oil change.They quoted me $89 and when the car was finally ready they charged me $116. Will never come here again.

All of the young men at this location are polite and professional and accommodating. I arrive early and they brought me to work and picked me up when me car was right. It is hard to find a mechanic you can trust. You can rest assured that under the new management, Mike Southall and his crew of guys on Space Center, you will be taken care of!

Disappointed with the labor rates... $350 in labor to swap out ONE rear shock on a Mazda3 that takes about 30 minutes to complete with the right tools. Parts and labor is cheaper than this at the dealer and that includes the service fee! Unbelievable...

Got there at the last minute and the inspector Travis went out of his way to get my White CRV inspected.He took the time to show me a bad wiper that needed replacing.He completed the job very quickly and Iwas on my way..Thank you Travis for being so professional.

Very disappointed I got to the place at 8 am and nobody touch the car till 9 am. They took care of all customers for oil change and I have to argue with the manager Raymond Walter for someone to star working on my car. I do not recommend this place anymore

I will not be doing business here again!I purchased a new car battery about 2 months ago from this place. My car was having issues starting up. I took it into the dealership to have them look at it since I almost got stranded and it wouldnt start. The dealership tested the vehicle through diagnostics and the new battery Elite put in was not good.I then had to purchase another new car battery from the dealership. I called Elite and asked them how they could assist me with some type of refund, I still had my Elite invoice and the dealership invoice for the new battery. Elite told me I would have to go back to the dealership to pick up the car battery for any type of refund, since this battery would need to be sent back to the manufacturer so THEY could get THEIR money back and they would see what they could do for me. This is so unprofessional to request a customer to go back and pick up a bad battery in order for them to give me any type of reimbursement. I will not be doing my vehicle oil changes, inspections or any further car services here again!

I went in since my maintenance light came on. Raymond Walter, the asst. manager, came out and checked my car out. Instead of drumming up unnecessary charges he took care of what I came in. Customer service was impeccable.

We have been a customer of Elite Lube & Inspection for approximately five years traveling from League City to this location for oil changes, engine flushes, transmission fluid, brake changes, inspections, etc. The lead Mechanic, Ray is an extraordinary professional at what he does and the owner Jason is extremely fortunate to employ him as he is a very valuable asset. Ray is very trust worthy of all our vehicles maintenance issues. I am very satisfied with the service past and currently that has been received. A wholehearted recommendation is equitable.

Came in for an oil change a and had a question about a mechanical problem I had with my Mustang. These guys were not only quick and efficient, but really went into detail with my mechanical issues and had recommendations for the things that were urgent, and were very honest about the things that could wait.. Earned MY respect and business

Had my oil checked at another establishment to learn that yall have only been putting HALF the amount of oil needed, I thought I had a oil leak because of how often I needed a change.

They failed my brakes in inspection. I took my car to my mechanic to get it fixed. He said my brakes were perfect and there was no reason for them to have failed it.

This used to be my go to place to maintain my car. For the past 4 or 5 years I was pleased with their honesty. Today I took my car for oil change and a/c recharge, I drove away with a damaged compressor. My a/c was working until their mechanics touched it. I called and went back for explanations and I was told the compressor was not working and thats why my a/c wasnt cooling. I didnt take my car to be fixed, I wasnt having problems, all I was doing was maintenance, but somehow they claim my compressor just when out when they serviced the a/c. I didnt get a refund. When I asked for owner and general manager, they played stupid and almost didnt give me their information. Very disappointed at this. Never recommending this place again. Never going back again. If the owner reads this, I want a refund.

I will never give this company my business again. They tell complete LIES to try and manipulate you into spending more money. This time, it was that my dealership had updated their information and my car now needed synthetic oil or my warranty would be voided. This isnt a misunderstanding or a miscommunication.. Its nothing but a scam. I even called the dealership so they cant blame it on a miscommunication.. And the dealership employee LAUGHED and said that was ridiculous. They have not only lost my business, but everyone else that I know who used to go there.I am a good and loyal customer.. Dont lie and manipulate me and you keep my business. Simple as that.

The people here are very good at what they do. I always come here for my oil change and they always let me know if I need any service on my car. I live in 40 mins away and I still drive all the way to Pasadena for an oil change.

My wife took her car here for an oil change and state inspection. Although honest about her not needing the inspection they tried to up sell her an air filter, engine flush and who knows what else. Sadly they couldnt even get the oil change right. After noticing oil in our driveway I checked the oil pan plug and it was fine but the filter was lose. Now I have to spend my time pressure washing the driveway.Fix the problems with the little things.

I have been coming here for around 8 years. Great honest mechanics and the owners have great knowledge of automobiles and seem to get along with all the staff.

Took my car in for standard oil change. Manager/mechanic got upset, because I would not change to a full synthetic oil from a synthetic blend. I chose not to, also chose not to have him do any of the recommended services. After checking me out at the counter, he turned around and walked back outside. I have used Elite several times - not only for oil changes and inspections, but mechanical work also. I felt that I at least deserved a thank you for my business. I wont be returning to Elite.

I had my transmission fluid flushed, and brake pads replaced on my 1999 Toyota Siena. The service was outstanding. They even provided rides during the service. I have saved over $400 on the service, the Toyota dealer was asking for over $400 more. I also had my BMW valve gasket estimate done, BMW was asking for $900, Elites estimate was $400. You know where I will be taking my BMW. They only recommend services that I need. I also do my regular oil changes here.

These guys are always on the ball. Clean, comfortable waiting area. The prices are fair and they are very patient with explaining the details.

WARNING...STAY AWAYSad to say but i came in with grinding brakes and instead if fixing the problem... Gave me a bill for 1700 and i drove away with grinding brakes... When they lifted the car, they never took the wheel off.So the question is... How could they inspect the brakes when they didnt take the wheel off?

Fast friendly service. Went in for an oil change and it didnt take long. They even vacuumed the truck.

The vehicle inspector thought my brakes squeaked when I pulled in, looked at my brake pads and said I had no pad left. The brakes are brand new and have full pads. Immediately left, went down the street to Take5 and passed the inspection without issue.

Elite lube has done a great job for me from brakes to a/c, oil changes and inspections. Thanks Elite lube and their mechanics, Ray in particular.

**UPDATE**Changing my 5 star review to one. Unfortunately this shop is under new ownership and ive had nothing but trouble here since. Friday I get an oil change & quote on some work I need done. Jason asked me what kind of oil and I told him the same kind I got last time because Ive been coming here and getting the same oil change for 3 years. USUALLY its around $24 bucks & they vacuum your car as a bonus. THIS oil change was $50 and no vacuum. He charged me $20 for an additive I did not ask for. That should have been my first sign that this is now a shady shop. I just chalked it up to i will be more clear next time that they need to ask me before adding things (i really dont like confrontation). Saturday, i ended up waiting around for over 4 hours for a brake job. . So the Sunday after this brake job the brake pad got stuck engaged & i had to have it towed back to the shop. Apparently the brake package does not include checking your entire brake system, they did not check my brake line and somehow this caused the brake pad to engage? Not sure but I had to miss an entire day of work since I had no car and I had to pay for the tow to get it to the shop. $85. The brake job was also around $300. They covered fixing it but..duh it was their fault so dont act like you are doing me a favor. So about a week later it starts making a noise like something is rubbing on the same side they did the brake work. I bring it back in, this time my dad is with me. They say its the caliber on the OTHER side of where I say it is making the noise. Ok fine. Jason also quotes me for the abs sensor. Mind you w/ the tow & oil change it cost me over $400. Jason keeps trying to talk me into this sensor, I tell him no. I tell him my max budget is $200 & i will be getting my tax return soon & i planned on coming in & getting all the work done I was quoted for. He says he understands. They are doing the work & we wait for a while but around 2 dad needs to go (we got there at noon). After my dad leaves Jason approaches me again & again tells me I should really get this sensor done, he brought down the total to $233. I TOLD YOU MY MAX BUDGET IS $200. I feel uncomfortable *& pressured so Isay OK to get him to go away. He assures me that this wont take any longer than the work Im already doing. later (around 3:30 now) i overhear them talking outside (because i guess they dont realize the window is open or dont care). I over hear them talking about how the wrong part was delivered and now they are going to wait for the right part. I wait for one of them to come update me but THEY NEVER DO. The mechanic comes in behind the desk to do something and I ask him what is going on. He tell me they delivered the wrong sensor. I ask if he has the caliber, he says yes. I ask if he can just do the caliber then and I will come back and get sensor done and he tells me he cant because he already has everything taken apart. 30 minutes later i ask the manager if they have received the part yet. He says no and offers to just do the caliber. Didnt yall just tell me you cant do that? finally leave at 530, on my way home its making the same noise so what did i pay $200 for? looking at my receipt now they still charged me for the sensor they never put it. I let the manager know but havent heard back. I will just be disputing the entire charge if i dont hear back by the end of the day.---------I will always come here. I was screwed over by a place I got my oil done at that did not properly secure the oil pan and all the oil came out causing my engine to seize. 2000 and a horrible repair shop later I found these guys. They are very honest. I have an old car that has some problems and they are always honest with me about what is going on with my car. When i have extra money we go down the list of things I need looked at and maintained and when Im broke they tell me what is really important and what i can skip till next time. They trust me also which is really nice. I forgot my credit card once and they let me leave and come back later to pay with no problems.

I have a 2007 Hummer H3x, and from the beginning I have used Elite Lube & Inspection for all my synthetic oil/filter changes, and all other fluid changes. They are good people who I can trust to do the job right.

I got the pack with the interior detail (conditioning seats, dashboard, cupholders, etc.) which already comes with interior vacuming and a run through the car wash. When i got my vehicle back there were still dirt marks on my seat and grass that didnt get vacuumed. Also my dash board still have dirt on it that i was able to wipe off later. I sent my car back and expected it to be fix and when they returned it to me nothing was fixed.

Not only did they try to tell me I needed a transmission flush... They also screwed up the cap to my oil pan. I had to either purchase a new oil pan or get an over-sized plug. Cost me unnecessary $$. I havent been back since.

I went to this location to get my oil change on Thursday(12.8.16). I asked how much they charged for regular oil change and the guy told me it started from 31.99 and I said ok. Now this was my first time coming to this location I was theyre only customer and I was in that area. So the guy asked me what kind of oil synthetic, but it was my mistake I said that bc later I realized how expensive that was I had gone to another location before and whenever I said regular oil change they already new what kind of oil I was asking for so they did not ask me for what kind of oil. However the guy did not even tell me what the price was for that kind of oil and I didnt ask either. So when they finished up my car, the guy told me the total was 71.98 and I said I thought you oil change starts from 31.99 and he said yea but you got synthetic oil and I said yea bc I thought that was for the regular oil I didnt know. And he said well my baaadd you didnt hear me so I just showed him a coupon for $10 off but overall was way too overpriced for me bc I had never payed $65 for an oil change. I also felt very rushed to process my transaction I was just ready to get out of there. There was a misunderstanding overall about the price and I did not want to argue over it either as I had somewhere to be as well. Plus now my car is leaking its never done that before. Only one star bc they did vacuum and put more air in my tires inside my car no other place has done that and they were pretty quick. Did not like how I was treated just bc Im a female does not mean they can take advantage and not inform or explain to me their prices. But I wont be coming back here again.
