The owner Roy is a difficult person to deal with. Called about a part, he said he had it in hand, and was really nice. Called right before I left because I live an hour and a half away, he was extremely rude, and hard to deal with. I showed up at the time he said he would be there, he wasnt there, waited an hour and a half, then left. Came back later only to find out he didnt have the part on hand. Its a shame because this place has a ton of parts. It seemed as if he didnt want to sell his parts.

Spoke to Roy on Monday to schedule a pickup for me to buy a $1,000 transfer case on Wednesday. I followed up on him Tuesday to make sure were still on for Wednesday. When I show up the man isnt even there and didnt bother the slightest to give me a quick phone call letting me know hell be back. Guess customer service dont matter much to him. Drove from far to come over there mind you. You people that gave him five stars are tripping and must like to be screwed over.

It has been nearly 10 years since my last visit to Pasadena 4x4. Hasnt changed a bit. Same owner, same help. I needed a part that jeep no longer made for my 04 Rubicon. I texted Roy a picture of a VSS sensor and he said, got a believed good used one that you can try before buying. If you have ever been in the auto repair business, you would know that was great help. The Rubicon is fixed and gone.

Rude a$$ service. Called and couldn’t here nor understand and he caught a attitude. Could be a good place to buy parts but that was enough for me to go elsewhere

Had a great experience, I saw the negative reviews so I was a little worried, but went in with an open mind. This guy is just a good Ol boy and has a ton of knowledge about jeeps. Just picked up a rebuilt dana 35 rear end for my jeep and it looks top notch. He likes to talk and you can learn a lot if you listen.

Had a pleasant experience. Man is a little slow, but one guy can only take care of one person at a time, so you have to understand that. While I was there he must have taken 15-20 calls while right in the middle of helping several different people. So it is best to go buy and talk in person. He was very helpful for us when it was our turn to be helped. He helped us on a weekend and even a holiday. Price was a little steep but when your looking for rare items you have to expect that. (supply and demand people). He is very knowledgeable about 4X4 and the parts he has. I would recommend and use again in future if needed.

I have known Pasadena 4x4 Salvage owner Mr. Roy over 10 years. He is a honorable man very knowledgeable and good at what he does. I have never had any problems doing business with him. All I can say is if Mr. Roy cant fix it... it aint broke.

Experienced 4x4 parts dealer with RARE parts. He was able to locate a very hard to find tailgate for my antique gladiator truck. Have a thick skin when dealing with him over the phone. But more than friendly in person. As others said if you treat him with respect hes very easy to deal with.

Great place. Unique and hard to find parts. If no one else has it he does. Other reviewers say he is cantankerous but I treat him with respect and he has always treated me well. He has provided me with parts I could not find any where else at any price and has always been fair.

Guy is great yes hes a bit arrogant but who cares. He knows his stuff. If you cant handle it you are part of the problem. Oh my feelings got hurt. Keep up the good work. Ill continue to shop here.

This dude here sells a rebuilt long block. Minus all the internals that make it a long block. He sells you a head with valves and springs, and a block with pistons and a crank. The people I had go pick it up for their Jeep had no idea what they were looking at. He tells people he leaves the head off so people can look in the motor. Well he wants us to reuse old push rods and rockers on a supposed rebuilt long block. I have pictures of exactly how you get the motor. When confronted this dude just wants to repeat everything you ask and say I must have been dropped on my head.

I drove 30 miles to get to this place to buy a tailgate he said he had and he took me on a grand tour looking at everything I didnt need such as gears and transfer cases. He looked at the tailgate on my truck and said that I didnt need a new one and that he wasnt gonna sell me one. I never got to see the tailgate I went there for. The man was a total dick the whole time. I wouldnt go back there if I had to!!! Piss poor service.

Super knowledgeable of his product and can save you money with his experience. Prices are high but that is the market overall two thumps up

Worst place by far!!! Roy is a lying, scamming, rude, piece of crap. We drove to Pasadena from Conroe to trade my core for a rebuilt one only to get there and find out he aint got one. So we leave ours their to get a FREE estimate. A week later he says heres whats wrong and a list of parts you need to buy and deliver to me so we can get it done. We decided not to get it fixed and just want our tranny back. He said only way to get it back (in pieces) is to pay $250. Police sided with him so I paid the $250 and got it back. Hes a horrible business man and I use those terms loosely. Karma will get him one day.

Had exactly what I needed when no one elses did and most everyone else didnt even know what I was talking about the owner is old school just like my Pepa so I had know problem with the man at all will definitely be letting the 4x4 group know about this man and anyone that just needs old parts that you cant find now

Some might think he is rude but he is just an old Polish man with ancestry going back to the Monarchs in Poland during the 12th century. He may seem cantankerous but he has every part you need that no one else has. He knows his business, been doing it for 36 years in same location. He will not only have the part you need but will have several of them. I needed a part for a transfer case that no one had, no junk yards, not Chrysler/Jeep, and was fixing to order a kit from Summit to get by with and found him on Craigslist and he had 38 in stock of what I needed. If it is for a Jeep, he has what you need. I can put up with attitude to get what I need that no else has and for a fair price.
