I had my windshield replaced at Bar Harbor Auto Body. Mike and Chris were outstanding and very accommodating. They even gave me a ride to work after I dropped off my car! They went above and beyond each step of the way and delivered my car freshly washed and in great condition. And, of course, the work was perfectly done. Highly recommended!

After being rear ended I was in need of an auto body shop that I could trust with repairing my vehicle. I was looking for a place that was going to repair it correctly- not the cheap way with cheap aftermarket parts. They kept me up to date on everything that was being done with my vehicle, fought the insurance company on costs, explained all the repairs to me, and shined up my vehicle before giving it back. They were highly professional, did a high quality repair, and even helped point me in the right direction for going after the insurance company for the diminished value of the vehicle. Mike and his team has done work for me for the last 7 years. I will not go anywhere else. They have done everything from custom work to accident repair and comes through everytime. Although we ended up opting not to fix our body work, it was because of the insight offered by the owner. This place was staffed in the shop at the desk and at the ownership level with very personable individuals, and we really appreciated the time dedicated to assessing our body work and what would have to happen in order to do the job right. His pricing was fair for the job to be done, but his professionalism showed through his willingness to turn the job down at our request for him to just do a simple touchup rather than fixing the issue properly. We plan to come back if our car ever has a situation where the fix is essential and not simply cosmetic, as we know our money would be well spent here in trustworthy professional hands.

Beyond excellence! Everyone there was so friendly, and ready to help in any way they could. Even though we had never been there before, they treated us like family. They advocated on our behalf with the insurance company to ensure that our van would be repaired properly. They were so professional, informing us in great detail of the work to be done. They went above and beyond to make sure that our van is as good as new... even to the extent of washing and vacuuming it! We will never go anywhere else again for body work. They were so nice and took care of everything. My car was rear ended, had a cracked windshield, and I also got my tail lights tinted and rims done.Insurance was a huge pain but they made sure to get everything done with no issues. They even Delivered the car to me and took the rental back because I couldn’t get off work.

I had an accident in my Toyota Tundra, once I and case number from the insurance company that was responsible for paying for repairs, I search online in the Glen Burnie, MD, for a auto body shops. I found Bar Harbor Auto body came up with a excellent rating. Once I made contact with the owner Mr. Mack Davison and his manager Mr. Chris Rouse, they took care of my situation with my vehicle as true professional that they are in my opinion. Their communication with Insurance company to process the damage and repair through communication was excellent with myself, know all aspect of the vehicle, going into deep reserch what had to repair and the operation after everything was done. They let me know what happing and what my part was in the process. All in all I very happy with the performance. I recommend them highly for knowledge and technical expertise.

WOW!!!!!!!!! I really cant say anymore than that! These guys are superstars and true professionals who take on the headaches that insurance claims bring in order to ensure the customer is #1! After my car was damaged in an accident, I figured it was a great opportunity to have some upgraded parts installed at the same time and I would just pay the difference. Bar Harbor not only made it happen, but did it for less than a $30 difference from the original parts. I was so grateful b/c I didnt realize the logistics and paperwork that went on behind the scenes to make it happen given the insurance companys repair constraints. Amazing customer service. Really looked out for my interests. My insurance company called them to have the scrap yard pick up my car before the insurance company told me it was being totalled. Bar Harbor pointed out the mistake to my insurance company and saved me a huge hassle. They kindly dropped me at a near by rental car company when I dropped my car off with them. They also did a good job with the appraisal and were just very pleasant and friendly. I would definitely do business with them again.

Another day, another 5-star review. Seriously look around, no one gets reviews like this - these guys are doing something right AND you can support a small locally owned business. I got rear-ended so had some body work that needed to be done, and my insurance (Erie) was encouraging me to go their preferred shop so I didnt have to hassle with paperwork and would get a lifetime warranty....well, their shop didnt have reviews like this place. Plus after stopping by for a free estimate and talk with Mike, I could tell this guy would do good work and advocate for me. And he did. He offers the same lifetime warranty, and the only complication was that I either turned over my insurance payment to the store or paid them myself later (and cashed the insurance check). Mike still worked with the Erie adjuster on my behalf and got everything approved. His argument that my being his customer (and advocating for me and my vehicle) instead of Eries shop being a customer of Erie (and working to keep costs low) is very compelling and makes sense. Not only was the work quality and communication good, but I also had a little unrelated problem with my battery, and Mike gave me a new one for free in appreciation of my business. Top Notch and Highly Recommended!

Excellent quality work!!!! I brought my 2006 Acura TL into Bar Harbor Auto Body after I had been dinged in my drivers side quarter panel. I figured since I had my car in the shop anyway I would ask Mike if he could do some extra work. (repair old damage on rear drivers side door, smoke the tail lights & rear side marker lamps, and repair and custom paint the wheels) The repairs and custom work that his guys did turned out fantastic! I was absolutely amazed when I pulled up and saw my car. The damaged spots had been restored to look better than when it rolled off the showroom floor when it was brand new. When I brought my car home, my neighbor told me that he thought I had bought a new ride. I am very satisfied with the quality and workmanship of the work that Mike did on my car, as well as the ease of the entire process. (which can be a nightmare) He took care of everything from lining up the rental to communicating with my insurance company. I will continue to use this body shop for any future problems I may have, or if I want to get some more custom work done! Bar Harbor is the best auto body company I have ever dealt with - and it is the ONLY one I will ever deal with. The customer service, professionalism, and quality of work is top notch. I met with Chris Rouse and Mike Davidson to discuss a myriad of body issues and parts availability on my minivan, including a persistent water leak problem that other pros wrestled with to no avail. Chris was able to secure several parts that were previously hard to find, offered meaningful suggestions, solved the leakage problem and fix many other cosmetic and functional issues, resulting in finished minivan that was in the best condition it had ever been in. In particular, they had to focus on a rear window problem that stubbornly resisted their efforts to repair, but Chris and mechanic Blue and others hung in there patiently until they resolved the matter. I dare say other body shops would have set fire to the thing in frustration, but the team at Bar Harbor are patient and very adept at facing challenges and winning results, as indicated by all of the excellent reviews. These guys are fantastic. They made me a customer for life.

I’m new to the Pasadena area. I wanted an estimate to repair some paint damage. I went here based on the reviews, and I had a super positive experience. I called 2 times needing directions (the shop is behind another building), and the lady at the front desk (Julie) was super patient and kind. When I arrived, Mike (the owner) introduced himself and took my car to inspect. To my surprise, he was able to buff out most of my damage, and after discussions we said it looked good enough to not need further work. Although I came in for something minor, the integrity he displayed on this small issue makes me feel at ease and that I can trust this shop for any of my automotive concerns. I brought my 2015 civic si in when I ran into a guard rail. The front left was completely destroyed and I was prepared for a long repairing process. The car was fixed completely in under 2 weeks. I could not be any happier with the service I received from Bar Harbor Auto Body. My vehicle looks better than before and the paint job was done very well. The communication between the shop and my insurance went very smoothly as this can be a time consuming process. I was treated like family here. Overall I had a great experience dealing with this shop and I would recommend them to any of my family or friends. 10/10 !!!!!!!!

We took our car to Bar Harbor after someone ran into the side of it and damaged the rear door and quarterpanel. Mike, the owner, greeted us and handled all the claim details with Geico and even drove us to the Enterprise car rental office right down the street. The only thing better than the repair itself was the personalized service! They sent us email updates complete with photos of the repair each step of the way and finished the repair in minimal time. The technician even noticed that one of my power windows (the one we raise and lower constantly so our dog can put her head out the window) was slow to operate and repaired it as well!!! The car looks like new again and we were thrilled with the service we recieved from Bar Harbor. These guys are awesome.

I heard about this place after they did an iPad giveaway on Facebook over the holiday. I thought it was a scam, but after reading some reviews, I decided to check them out anyways. Sheesh this place is hard to find! I didnt see the sign at first and ended up turing in the wrong parking lot and had to do a couple U-turns. (Didnt really help my mood) I showed up with the expectation that I was going to be taken advantage of from the average auto repair shop stereotype. I was pretty uncomfortable for awhile, but the owner Mike was able to calm my nerves pretty quickly.He took me outside to look at my car with me, and explained everything out (I was more clueless than I thought). As he pointed out the different levels of damage, he explained the process behind fixing it (the hours, average price, and the necessary parts.) It really seemed like he knew what he was talking about! Looks like its going to cost less than my insurance company thought. Phew!As I was waiting, I saw the staff interacting with other customers, and it looked like they have been friends for years, which was even more comforting to see other people so trusting in them as well. Overall, Im glad I came here because they completely changed my perspective of auto repair. Hopefully I wont need to, but if I get in another accident, I will be sure to come here - and recommend to friends. Mike and the rest of the staff are great. I went from nervous and uncomfortable to calm and relieved. They really are looking out to take care of you, not themselves, which is still a huge shock for me. Thanks guys!
