They didnt have everything I needed but the employees were so helpful in trying to help me find what I was trying to find. Great place, great at materials. For anyone who loves art you can spend a longer time there just thinking of what you can create with all the material you see. Highly recommended for beginner or expert... go check it out.

This is the place for all the art supplies you need. I’ve been been buying my supplies here for many many years. The service is great and sales people are friendly and knowledgeable. You can always find someone who’ll be able to answer your questions. I’ve never been disappointed. The selection and variety of brands and materials is outstanding. For art supplies theres nothing like Blicks. They have a nice selection of paints and fabric dyes. Big selection of brushes and canvas. Staff is super helpful too.

They have everything you need for creating art in a great abundance and selection. I was ready to $$$hop for many things, unfortunately they dont let you use their bathroom. Now I have to shop online or at another art supplies store. Bummer for them.

Blick Art Materials has a great selection of things I need to create my art work. I come here often; the location is great too.

Other than having an awesome selection of art supplies, there are WAAAY too many employees for that itty bitty store, and you will NOT be able to browse the isles WITH YOUR HEADPHONES IN without being bugged every ten seconds by the freaking armada of people who work there. There are actually so many employees that it becomes a frustrating experience, and that is why you are only getting 3 stars, Mister Blick, because the very last thing I want when I am deep in thought about my next project is some ACP student disrupting me to ask me (even though I clearly have headphones in and I clearly cannot hear them) if I need help finding anything. No, I do not thank you, bugging me every freaking time I turn around... Not to mention that thier employees need the ENTIRE freaking isle to bump your thought process to a back burner... And today, I was not in the mood for it and it became such a freaking ISSUE that I actually terminated my shopping prematurely in favor of just leaving without satiating my desire for supplies. Tell you what, I understand that you have your store right next to ACP, and I am certain that you guys end up with a lot of thievery, but there HAS TO BE A DIFFERENT WAY than having teenagers bugging your customers into leaving frustrated.IM NOT THE PROBLEM. I HAVE BEEN AN ARTIST FOR LONGER THAN THEY HAVE BEEN ALIVE, BESIDES WHEN I FINALLY ASK THE PERSON THAT BUGGED ME HALF A DOZEN TIMES IF THEY KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT ANYTHING THE ANSWER IS ALWAYS NO.So either your employees do not want your store to make money, or they are making some baseless judgement of character based on physical appearances, which is totally bizarre for anything centric to an artistic culture.Also your Strathmore heavyweight paper is ridiculously overpriced.

Really nice store not so considerate of people with illness.Brought my lil girl in today to buy art supplies she has a brain malformation and is anemic she needs to pull down her mask to take deep breaths to get fresh ain in for her brain to avoid her passing out and the cashier just yelled at her to pull up her mask with no consideration was very rude and embarrassing as well as another female employee yelling 3xs telling us where the line is when you can clearly see where it is. Just all around terrible service .FYI next time i will spend my 130$ at Michaels

Great customer service, they are all very knowledgeable on the supplies they have and went out of their way to show me example of their products and differences in types of supplies I needed. I had gone In with a plan on what I was getting and they helped me find great deals and alternatives to what I was going for that would give me a better value of art and bang for my buck!

Staff is always super helpful, they have a wide amount of supplies, and sales are just constantly going on. Definitely a place where I sink my money.I love that they now have updated the website so you can see if your local store has the specific item in stock.

Blick art had a good selection although they did not carry what I was looking for. Unfortunately they wouldnt let me use their bathroom as I drove over 2 hours just to shop there, but I will squarely place the blame on city and county council persons for that.

I dont live near a blick store at all and this branch was the closest to me. Ideally I consider personally visiting a blick store as a last resort decision since online has better selection and prices, but I had to purchase paints on a timeline for a project I had to do. The line outside moved quickly and I was amazed at how consumer friendly the store was laid out.Ive been to the LA branch before and that place is hectic and crowded, they dont have a parking lot, and selection is too small, with too many things stuffed in one aisle.Employees are very knowledgeable at the Pasadena branch and prices are appropriate. I didnt see a lot of empty shelves. I just wish that there were more liquitex basics paint colors in stock, I had to mix and match between liquitexs different paint types. Checkout time was fast. I just wish I had more time to look around the store.Parking is free, its right across the street.

However, after gracefully bounding the stairs to the upper level, and searching back stock and bins, Dana assured me that it would be in stock soon, and I could be contacted when it arrived.Outstanding.With a triangle in hand I descended the stairs to the register where the Associate promptly and efficiently, and with a smile, assisted me with my purchase and wished me a good day.Right on. The only place in the area that reliably carries canvas for painting. The staff is pretty knowledgeable in all manners of fine art technique and practice. Not so knowledgeable about home crafts or specialty projects (kind of like the difference between artists and craftsmen) Place is popular with the art students because of its locality.

I love this store. Everything is always so organized and the staff is very friendly and approachable. They always seem eager to help you out and never rush me. The cashier that helped me even told me if I had found everything I needed if not she could help find something. Blick Art is the place to go to get art supplies. This location has individual stretcher bars for stretching your own canvas. They also hold items for you if you call ahead, which was super useful when I found out they had the desk I wanted in store while I was at work!

I love blick. If youre an artist or a wanna be artist youre going to love this store, its got everything. The fact that its small adds to the ambience. They usually have some discount stuff right at the front door I can never resist. And they have really great help there, if you read my reviews youll see that service is really important to me.

By far the best-priced and widest selection for art supplies. I regularly come here for supplies for watercolor, acrylic, drawing, and calligraphy. I called in to check stock and got answer quickly which I really appreciated. Even though I have an order from the online store on the way, I came to pick up a few things I forgot and Christine was very helpful and sweet. The nice staff and great items are the reason I put up with the 25 minute drive here.
