Excellent customer service! I had a sudden leak in a tire and called to see how much replacing both rear tires would be (need new ones anyway before spring comes). The estimate including alignment was very reasonable. Today’s solution was plugging the leaky tire. They squeezed me into their busy schedule and I was in and out in an hour and a half (pretty impressive for a last minute emergency IMO). Not only did the technician plug my tire, he even took off the donut and mounted & replaced it with the plugged tire! Good as new!

Been coming here for years. Good prices and realistic service managers who know what you need and dont try to over sell you. I wouldnt get tires or maintenance anywhere else. In and out that day, and its usually wise to schedule ahead.

Last year i experience good service, i return this year as a repeated customer, and they tried to rip me off. I purchased a tire 30 days ago parked my car for two weeks while i left for a small get away, comeback tire flat. I assumed it lost air from around the bead of rim. Filled it up started driving on hywy all of a sudden tire gose flat again. I get off the hywy, have car towed, get tire to this shop, to make long story short Mike told me after mounting another tire on my rim that theres no warranty. And demanded that Ill half to pay full price. Sense it was good year tire i called good year corporate, just to see how true that was and they said untrue infact not only is it a warranty no matter why the tire went flat they offer a courtesy refund to all purchases handled with in 30 days. This place will rip u off if u let them.

Carney Tire was able to evaluate my car immediately after a large metal fragment imbeded in my tire. They determined I needed another tire and were able to order/place the tire the next day. Brian offered to keep the car at Carney Tire and made sure my car was placed in the garage overnight. (My car is 17 yrs old, but its still a good car.) My husband and I use Carney Tire for our car needs and have referred Carney to other family members and neighbors.

Our car had a flat and we found out we didnt have the key to unlock the wheel. Towed it to Carney and they took the keys off of every wheel and changed all 4 tires since we had 50k miles and the treed wasnt sleeping. Thank you for your quick work!

Wanted to transfer a tire I had onto another rim. I left it with them and later that day I get a call saying they found a nail in the tire. I could have sworn that no nail was in the tire when I left it buy I cant prove it so all I can say is I might have overlooked it. They asked me if I wanted a quote for a new one twice but I declined. So they said the hole was to close to the side wall and they couldnt patch it ( it was not). So I took the tire to one of there competitors and they patch the hole with no issues. Havent had any issue with the tire since. Not sure if they wanted me to just buy a new tire or what. I know some shops can play games like this to get more money out of you but I will just let the public decide.

Yesterday, upon leaving my inner city fire station after a 24 hours shift I discovered a flat tire. I quickly found that I had a nail in the driver side rear. After inflating the tire and a determining the tire was holding air, I went out to find a place that could repair the tire. I was aware that my current tires were close to their end of life so it was on my radar that this may turn into a replacement.As I am sure you are aware that just along the Joppa Road corridor there are no shortage of places that offer tire service. Carney tire was not the first place that I visited looking for a repair. And Carney tire was not the last. Some places offered me replacements and quotes right away and others told me there was nothing they could do for me “today”. So to say that I had options was an understatement.I went home and did some research through Consumer Reports on tires and made a decision on what I wanted. But I decided that I would have the work done at Carney tire.And this decision was solely based on a very brief encounter with Mike.Mike greeted me when I entered the waiting room and asked what he could do for me. I told him that I just discovered a nail in the tire and that I needed it fixed today. He asked me what time and I informed him that my children were in person schooling and I needed to be able to pick them up from school by mid afternoon. He politely told me that he could get my work done but he couldn’t guarantee a time. He was totally upfront and honest, unlike a typical salesman trying to make a sale. He told me that he could certainly “take care of me” and that with a day or so notice he could be more specific in the time. He handed me his business card. I told him that I needed to find a place that could take care of this seemingly simple repair the same day and he said “I understand”. He then asked me if I “needed any air, or help with anything to get going”. He had already known that he wasn’t going to be getting a sale out of me, yet he still wanted to help!After I had researched I contacted Mike by telephone to make an appointment. We talked about my selection of tire and he assured me he could get them but it might be a few days. We discussed some other options and he made a few recommendation. The decided upon tire was not the most expensive.As a fireman by trade I appreciated his willingness to help. His willingness to help me even though I wasnt officially a customer made an impression. When I was his customer he didn’t try to “upset” or pressure me into purchasing a more expensive item. He was honest and very helpful.I will most assuredly remember this and recommend to any of my associates Carney Tire Care Care & Title.

I spoke to someone over the phone about my car they have had it for 2 weeks after being told the following week the work would start, nothing has started and no one reached out to me, when I reach out to them and ask why a dead battery stopped a mechanical shop from moving a car and why they didn’t call me like they said they did, the guy on the phone stops the conversation and corrects me on an attitude. First, let me say, Im a bit of a gear head. I took an older car in for a State inspection (1997), what they said needed work was consistent with the way the car was handling.Ill be Back. Reasonable prices. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.Second car through Maryland inspection, again, much what I expected. Caught a truly dangerous repair issue!Needed an oddball tire size. They had it in 2 days & STILL had a great price!

I went to this shop to have four brand new tires put on my car and within hours of leaving the shop my car was pouring antifreeze(which it had never done before), so I took it back up here to have a diagnostic and was told that I needed a new radiator which was $1,021(convenient huh?).... I paid to have the work done. About 10 days after the radiator was replaced my low tire light came on so I took it up here again to have them check the tire pressure. l left the shop again and within 1/2 a mile from the shop my car completely cut off and wouldnt turn back on.... I called up there and of course theyre saying that its just coincidental and probably an alternator, but I dont believe in this much coincidence and that something MAJOR just coincidentally happened to my car within minutes of leaving their shop BOTH TIMES!! This is why I dont trust mechanics. Be careful taking your car to this place because you will have another issue to fix as soon as you leave there(so whatever they charge you for your repair, plan on paying at least double).....

This shop is great! Called them an hour before they closed looking for a tire (which they didnt carry in stock). They shipped the tire to the shop overnight, and had it installed on my vehicle the next day. Theyre super friendly and efficient no matter how busy they get.

They were busy but managed to fix my sons muffler so he can drive to college for his 1st day.

Arrived late afternoon with screw in tire. Brian came out to car and said He can fix problem. All bays were full and still found a way for repair. With car on bay apron (outside) car chocked tire removed fixed and balanced. All in 40 weather. Tech and management very friendly and respectful. The team at Carney Tire is truly amazing. I had recently purchased a vehicle through a private party as a gift for a friend. Based on what the seller told me, I expected to just have the brake pads replaced, oil changed, and alignment done. Carney Tire understood the situation and wanted to make sure the vehicle was safe, and in doing so they discovered a few additional repairs that were needed. They were extremely apologetic, even though this was in no way their fault. They explained and documented everything for me so I can work with the seller on adjusting the purchase price. Right before the car was supposed to be picked up, another major problem reared its ugly head. They figured out a solution that would work long-term and not just be a band-aid, which saved me hundreds of dollars. I can not thank them enough for their care and attention to detail. They have earned a customer for life!

Been going here for several years now. The crew has always been courteous, helpful and, importantly, they never pressure me into any services and products. Even helped me a few times outside of appointments. I dont live close anymore but I still go here.

Please start using more experienced individuals on the phones to set up appointments. The young lady they have setting up appointments is really nice girl but doesn’t seem to know what she’s doing/talking about very unsure of herself which makes clients want to go to another location . Brian was great though, i’ll ask to speak to him next time so I dont waste more money getting a service I did not need .

I have used TireRack.com several times to buy tires and their list of recommended installers is expansive. On that list is Carney Tire Service and Mike, Sara, Brian and their team understand good customer service. From Mike calling me to say he signed for the shipment and then coordinating a time to get the tires installed. To Sara, checking me in on the install date and Brian assisting to ensure everything was in order. Then the install itself went smoothly, in the right amount of time, at a quality price and done professionally. From old worn out tires to a new set seamlessly and the car feeling better for it. Next time I need tires or anything mechanical I will definitely head back to Carney Tire Service.

Ive been a client for 5 years. All our cars are serviced here. They do excellent work and are happy to revisit anything you may have questions about and theyll make sure you are happy with the work done. When my Altima was written off, my insurance company gave me $2,000 above KBB, thats a testament to their maintenance. Be certain to get their tire warranty. Never spend to repair a flat again... your 60,000 mile tires need replacing after 40k? get a rebate applied to your next purchase as long as you get them rotated and checked when you change your oil.I recommend them without reservation.

Besides doing a good job on my cars needs, I never felt pressured to purchase anything, I was politely offered additional work needed to be done in my car that I might sometimes accepted and other times declined. I did get a cup of coffee, and they gave me their milk from their personal refrigerator! Once I needed to study while waiting for my car in the waiting area and the TV did not let me concentrate on my reading. I asked the person at the reception desk if they could lower the volume and he did turned the TV off for me, after asking another customer if it was alright with her. They are good people, all of them, guys and girls, respectful, friendly, they genuinely care for their customers satisfaction, that anyone can see.

I am selling my car privately. A prospective buyer asked me to drop my car at Carney Tire and Car Care. Not knowing the buyer or Carney tire I was hesitant. I asked someone who lives in the area if they were familiar with the shop and they enthusiastically replied that Carney Tire was fair and trustworthy.When I dropped the car off the only information I had was the email address of the prospective buyer. Carney tire said an appointment was booked for the car and took it in. They completed a pre-purchase inspection a day earlier than promised and reached out the buyer. Long story short, the buyer ghosted both me and Carney Tire when it came time to pay the bill. I emailed her multiple times asking her to clear the bill so I could pick up the car. When it was clear she had no intention of paying I drove to the shop to see how they were going to handle it. Carney Tire was able to get the buyer on the phone while I was there. I dont know exactly what she said to the manager but he politely wished her a good day and hung up the phone. He said it was clear that she had no intention of paying her bill but that it wasnt my fault. He gave me the keys to my car and allowed me to leave,I cant thank Carney Tire enough for being fair and professional in a bad situation. I promise to use them for future car repair needs to hopefully make up the loss caused by this terrible person. Top notch company and employees!

They did a great job keeping me up to date on the work being done. They were HONEST in their evaluation and didn’t try to get me to have more work done than was needed. I was even pleasantly surprised by the amount they quoted me.Everyone was taking the proper precautions- wearing masks, using hand sanitizer, having a divider up between us, and requiring masks to be work by customers.Very impressed and will go to them again when I need work done.

After leaving Mr Tire, being told online appointments weren’t theirs, online inventory wasn’t theirs and online prices weren’t theirs— that they didn’t include $110+ worth of shop fees... I called Carney Tire for tires for my daughter’s car. They were absolutely wonderful to work with and the price was better than Mr Tire’s online price for a better tire.

Our mechanic of 20 years recently moved to this shop and we have been incredibly impressed with the service from EVERYONE there. In addition to having very convenient hours they are always friendly and efficient when Im either dropping my car off or picking it up. Best story of going above and beyond was the time I lost my wheel lock key and needed their help just to get my tire off. I didnt get there until after closing but Brian was still there and he helped me get the wheel lock off and even helped put on the spare.

Everyone was great!! They were super busy had adequate seating for social distancing and gave everyone proper time. They were all in mask and I felt safe. Is it possible to provide higher praise than that for auto mechanics?Had folks in the past, especially who were in other parts of the U.S. who frankly were not honest and besmirched the good names of those in the entire industry. I would be in fear of taking my vehicle in over concerns of...being taken in.Not the case with Carney Tire. The words trustworthy and mechanic are rarely used together. But for Carney Tire, at least my experience with them, it is fitting.Wish I could clone this place and replicate it nationwide! If the entire store ran in an election, it might win! Was very professional from start to finish, the manager even preformed a special request which I thought I would be charged for but it was free. Great place i will definitely be getting all future services from this location.

Last week, driving to work very early in the morning, my low tire pressure light lit up and I watched as the numbers went from 26 to 22 to 18 within just a few miles. As I was still twenty-five miles from my office, I had to get off the beltway and figure out what to do. It was 6:30 am and I was able to see Carney Tire and Car Care like an oasis in the desert. I pulled up to the entrance and quickly learned they opened at 7:30am. I checked my tire and saw the culprit: a large screw fully embedded in the passenger rear tire, hissing like a cobra! I watched as the tire finally became flat and quickly realized I had nothing else I could do but wait. Within about 15 minutes, however, I got really lucky as Brian showed up early for work. I told him what happened and I could tell immediately that I was about to mess up his entire days’ schedule as he informed me he was packed with customers for 7:30 am already. But, good guy that he was, he offered to help me out anyway. He soon got my flat tire off (no, I could not find my wheel lock so I was absolutely no help!), got the spare put on and I was able to get to work on time. I returned later that day and they were able to put my repaired tire back on and for less than $30, I was on my way again. My repaired tire has been great ever since and I really appreciate what Brian did for me. If I didn’t say it enough that morning to you, Brian, Thanks again!!

It was not too difficult to locate this place. They could probably have a bigger sign to indicate the name that was advertised as I almost thought I was at the wrong shop. Once in, it didnt take too long to get the work done. They gave me recommendations and it was smooth for the most part. They were a able to carve out a small area to wait which was appreciated. Car sounded better when I left them .
