I had a terrible experience at another tire shop in Parkersburg. That same day I stopped at Glotfelty Tire and asked for assistance. I am new to town and need a tire shop for alignment and tire balance. Brett was very helpful and understanding. They rebalanced, rotated and aligned my Jeep. Great service and quality. I needed 35 12.50 R17 and a alignment. I Called 2 other places in town and both told me 35s are hard to get at the moment and it could be up to a month be they get them in.. so I called glotfelty and was told they could get them in the next day and do a alignment with no hesitation. I have aftermarket wheels, not a scratch or anything. Great place and great service A++ will definitely do business with them again..

I went in unscheduled because every light was on in my van that had to do with the brakes. They determined that my ABS module was out and referred us to another local shop who did an amazing job. Glotfelty did not even charge me to look at it. Youve earned my business!!

March 22nd we purchased an inspection sticker and paid to fix a hole in our tire. Had to pump the tire each day after that.. Took it to a real mechanics shop today and they said a patch was never applied and showed me the nail that was supposed to have been removed by glotfelty. My wife was 32 weeks pregnant and had to wait in that waiting room for over an hour for a tire that never got fixed and an unnecessary inspection sticker to pay those people in the capital down there in Charleston

I was very pleased that they were able to get my van in a bay and to let me no what is wrong with it and how much$$ to repair it.. it was repaired and back in my hands. I literally got there at 10:55 A.M. And got it back at 11: 25. All repairs were complete

Honest, fair pricing. Will choose Glotfelty when I may need future repairs. However, they need to hire someone to clean up a little as the guys were too busy working and waiting on customers.

This place was awesome! Know the staff and they took care of me. Work through the state of WV. Leaving Lewisburg heading to Charleston. Front tires making loud sound. When I arrived in Charleston front tires torn up. In Charleston made calls found place to replace tires. Commercial truck I drive, 19 inch tires and only certain places can fit this truck on alignment rack. Charleston the place I had to go to replaced tires but their alignment rack was out of service. Bill from this place included alignment... Of course I asked! Answer, we worked with it and its all good. Followed up with glotfelty tire, in my home town. Alignment was not right, glotfelty took care of me.

My fiance took our vehicle to this facility because they had sent out an ad and we had a coupon for an oil change. She had called in and asked about setting up an appointment and she was told it was fine to come in the following morning and they would take care of her without an appointment. The following morning she went in to have an oil change and she waited 2 hours for them to fit her in. After leaving the facility, they failed to put the oil cap back on and ended up causing a mess under the hood of the vehicle. They seemed more than willing to fix this, and she had to go back in and have the oil cap replaced. They stated they will give us a free oil change the next time we need one. A couple of days after having this done, we noticed an oil leak under our vehicle. We had this checked and the oil pan was actually rusted and had a hole in it. Nobody mentioned this when they performed an oil change on the vehicle. We had spoken with a couple employees via facebook who invited us to come back in and said theyd be happy to fix this for us free of charge. My fiance went back in and was told that she would have to pay $180 to have this fixed, and did nothing to repair this just sent her on her way. I understand we may have not been priority customers due to using a coupon on our initial visit - but are those not to create new business? I plan on following-up with this facility one more time and giving them an opportunity create a satisfying experience for us, but at this point -- I dont recommend anyone going to this garage.

Came in to get a tire plugged. Took over 2 hours before they even took my truck back. Front desk said I got shuffled back in the order somehow. Absolutely ridiculous. The guy next to me in the waiting room needed an alignment and rotation. The aligned his car but didn’t rotate his tires, so they had to take his car back again. Took him longer than me.

Super helpful and very knowledgeable. Max really knows tires and whats best for the vehicle. Best prices in town hands down.

Purchased cooper tires at this facility warranted for 80000 miles have less than 30000 and they are worn out. Was told to come to the facility in November and they would replace them. Showed up this morning and was told they were not worn enough. The salesman said, I am sure they will hydroplane. It isnt right, but I cannot get my money back until they are worn more. It is because I live in Elizabeth and drive on roads with turns that cause them to wear out so soon. Very disappointed with my conversation with them today. I will not purchase their products or have them do service on my vehicles again. Cant trust that they will stand by their product, therefore cant trust them to do service on my vehicle.. Do NOT do business here.

Bought a set of low pro tires from them. Good prices. Work was completed very quickly. All was good till the first tire rotation. A rear tire had been tore at the bead during installation. The added weight of the front caused it to leak. Nothing was done about the damaged tire.

When I walked in to get tires put on my car, I was greeted with a smile from an employee...it was great they had a place to sit and wait. After they were done, they parked my car in front of the doors. I was told what they did and how much it was. Glotfelty tire center has very nice people working there.

I need 4 new tires for my truck. The brand of tire i have on my truck was rated for 60,000 miles. I only got 30,000 out of them. The sales people worked hard to get the new tires prorated. When installing new tires the mechanic found upper ball joint bad. They got it replaced right then. They were very busy that day and they still took care of what was needed to be fixed. Very satisfied with there professionalism and the extra time to get me on the road again.

Very impressed. Probably depends on when you get there because its typically busy, but I walked in for an oil change and got in and out quick.

Horrible service. Google maps asked me if I had ever been here, so I answered the question.I purchased a pair of cooper at3s and had you guys perform a front end alignment to my truck in 2017. I was so angry After the work was performed on my truck that I felt it was in my own best interest that I not return. My steering wheel was 30° left of center (10 oclock) and the truck was pulling severely to the right while driving. In other words, I paid for a front end alignment when I purchased new front tires. What I received was a horribly jacked up front end that was anything but aligned. So, I just drove the truck straight to McClinton Chevrolet (yes I still have the record to prove it), and had my front end properly aligned. I wouldnt have went into all the detail, but since you felt the need to reply like you did...I figured what the hell...

I have been to several places to have various problems addressed on several different vehicles over the past 20 years. A lot of mechanics dont want to fix things properly, and charge a ridiculous amount for it (especially when they see a woman walk in the door).Glotfelty is one of the very few places I trust. They always stick with the price they told me up front. They fix things right. They are honest. Most importantly...they are very respectful!! They always take the time to explain what was wrong, and they dont rush me out if I have questions (even when they are super busy!).Thanks guys! I will always bring my vehicles to you!

Took truck to Glotfelty in Parkersburg to get new tires and a state inspection. Arrived at 7:30am with one person ahead of me prepared to wait. 2 1/2 hours later, I was told my truck wouldnt pass inspection because of a crack in the side marker cover and a small rust hole in the tail. I was told the tires were being put on and it wouldnt be long. 30 minutes later, my truck was pulled up in front of the building with the rejection sticker and 4 new tires.3 hours wait and a rejection sticker was frustrating, but nothing compared to when my foot hit the brake pedal and went clear to the floor. Most of my brake fluid was on their parking lot under my truck and a trail went back to the bay it just came from. 2 1/2 hours later and almost $100 more than expected, Glotfelty had replaced brake lines that strangely had burst in the 20 feet from their bay to the front of the store. They had just done a state inspection and found nothing wrong with my brakes.I replaced the side marker cover and fixed the small rust hole that they had broken open to four times its size. But I had to wait until the beginning of the next month to get inspected again because they were out of stickers.So I went back to get the rejection sticker replaced. It should be a fairly simple process since they listed the issues to be corrected on the rejection sticker, and they had already done a thorough inspection. After almost 2 hours wait with only one person ahead of me getting an inspection, I was walked back into the service bay where my trucks front end was up on jacks and was told my truck wouldnt pass inspection because of bad upper ball joints.Steve, the counter person who walked me back, apologized for them not seeing that the first time. I asked why my truck was up on jacks in the first place since all they needed to do was look at the new side marker cover and check the rust repair in the tail. Steve had no answer.Since then I have learned from others in the area that Glotfelty has a reputation for finding problems that didnt exist before vehicles arrived. I strongly believe that they damaged my brake lines and were about to replace good upper ball joints just to have more business.If you choose to patronize this business, be prepared to wait an exorbitant amount of time for simple work to be completed, and cross your fingers that they dont damage your vehicle just so they can charge you to fix it.If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

Waited three and a half hours for an inspection, ended up leaving because there was always seemingly someone ahead of me. Terrible experience, unhelpful staff with only vague answers. Maybe good for tires, who knows, I will be going elsewhere when the time comes.

I had a vehicle taken into Walmart to see if it could be repaired. Answer was no well sell you a new one. I did not like the attitude so decided that if I needed a new tire I would get it at Glotfelty. I asked them to replace the tire. After about ten minutes a staff member called me up and said that they didnt think I needed a new one. The tire was fixed for less than 20 dollars which was a good bit away from a new one over $200. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

They take a long time on repairs, can not make an appointment for most stuff. Counter staff is not helpful and unkind to customers. Better options in town.

Got a front end alignment here. Had to bring it back because it was still pulling, however they switched the tires and all is well.

In early 2017 was having front end trouble with my 2006 GMC Sierra while visiting WV (Im from NJ). I pulled into Glotfelty Tire Center and told the manager my problem. His mechanic took the truck in the service area and came out a few minutes later and told me the truck was stuck in 4 wheel drive, even tho the dash light said it was in 2 wheel drive.He refused payment, because he said that he did no work. It is rare to find honest people in the service trade. I can think of half a dozen service centers in NJ that would have robbed me blind with work that I didnt need.I would not hesitate to do business with them, no matter what state you live in.
