We needed a minor repair on a saxophone, and Allegros woodwind guy picked up the sax at the shop and took care of it for us. The service was relatively quick, considering it needed to be done off-site, and the price was right on-estimate and very reasonable. Im happy with the quality of the work done and the customer service.

We love Allegro music! Andrew has been such a huge help as we got our son set with a guitar and all the essentials! My son has a million questions about everything, Andrew is always patient and willing to answer every one. Both my kids now take lessons at Allegro. You can feel the passion for music in this shop!

I purchased a Yamaha Toaster Amp from Allegro and oh boy, its an amazing amplifier and so worth the $250. Staff is amazing, especially Sean!!! I have been in here multiple times and the staff is always friendly. Sean has helped me multiple times and is always very informative and very down to earth. I am just getting back into playing guitar after a 15 year hiatus and it can be a bit overwhelming and intimidating but they truly do put you at ease here. I start guitar lessons next Friday and I cant wait!!!

I have been a regular customer of Allegro Music for over 10 years. If you have not been to the store, I recommend you check it out. It is not a large store, but they have a good selection and solid relationships with many key vendors so they can most likely get what you need. The manager Sean is always very helpful, knowledgeable and actually cares about the customers.Do your part and shop local!

I took lessons at Allegro for over eight years, and I can confidently say that Allegro is one of the most welcoming and personalized music stores in Colorado.Ive bought guitars, ukuleles, reeds (and many other concert/marching band items), and so much more from the store, all of which were quality products.Never have I been to a store with such a unique experience that is based around the customer, and the staff is very knowledgeable and wanting to help.Overall an amazing store, that in eight years of being a customer, I have always felt welcome and confident that I can find what Im looking for.

Brought in some guitars for some repairs I didnt feel comfortable doing myself, and they were super helpful. I ended up buying a new guitar while there and everyone was patient with my questions and seemed genuinely happy to help me out. Its a great little local store!

My son has been taking guitar lessons for a few months now, he has improved so much since we switched to Allegro Music. He took lessons with a private instructor prior to joining Allegro Music and didn’t really progress. I would recommend this place all day long!

I was very satisfied with the customer service! I had bought a used Jazzmaster guitar online that sounded terrible and Andrew (staff) did a lot of research on the guitar and was able to install a buzzstopper and now it plays nicely. I also purchased my first guitar amp at Allegro. Sean (staff) gave tons of info on guitar amps so that I got the right one (Vox AC10C1) and I love it. I defiantly plan on returning to Allegro for all my musical needs

My kiddo goes here for music lessons, and the instructor (Kelly) is awesome. She is so patient and kind, and really knows her stuff! The perfect teacher for establishing a great foundation and love of playing instruments.We happen to always be in the store the day that Andrew is working. He is so knowledgeable and professional. Andrew patiently answers the thousand questions my kiddo has every day about every musical instrument - keeping the passion for music alive! While I wait for my kid, I’ve also noticed Andrew is really great at taking time with customers who come in and on the phone. He is honest and very kind, and I’m impressed with his customer service. Great customer service is what you’ll find at Allegro, as well as what seems like a great selection of instruments. If they don’t have it they’re happy to walk through what can be ordered. I really appreciate this place - their instructors and staff are top notch.

What a neat little music store. The guy who helped us return a rental viola was really friendly. Thats where I found out about the Blues on the Top festival this weekend in Winter Park. My daughter and I are going to see Lucinda Williams on Saturday. Local small businesses are where its at!

Got some marching sticks and set of cymbals for my drum set a while ago. Amazing people and a really cool store. Cant wait to go back in whenever I have more musical needs! 😁EDIT: I recently bought a Teton Ukulele from Allegro and I again have to iterate that they are amazing. They are always happy to help you (Ewan is my go to man, he is amazing) and it always beats big sellers like Guitar Center. The only downside is selection, but it makes sense. If you are looking for something in a time crunch and they dont have it, look elsewhere. BUT, if you can wait a week or so for something they dont have in stock, they can order it for you and get you some good prices for it.

Sean and Allegro Music are awesome. Seven months ago, my son Josh, was unsure which instrument he wanted to play for band for the start of middle school. Sean took care of us and allowed Josh to try out the two instruments he was most interested in, the trumpet or alto saxophone. As it turned out, he was a natural for playing the sax, so we rented a Yamaha from them. The nice thing is that we got a brand-new instrument never used and our rental payments are equity towards the purchase of this or any other instrument in their store. This is TERRIFIC since, as it turns out, my son loves his saxophone and has already made it to the advanced band at his school. We intend on purchasing our instrument. We went to other music stores, but no one took the time like Sean did to ensure my son got the right instrument for him by letting him try both out, nor did they have the quality of selection. Thank you, Allegro Music, and Thank you Sean, we so appreciate you! God Bless you!

I came for the guitar lessons. The staff was very polite. For a long time, they asked a teacher whom I even very briefly met. We agreed on the price, schedule and I left my phone number on which the teacher should contact me. No one contacted me. What is most surprising is that the manager sees that something is wrong, the student did not come to the planned very first lesson and does nothing. This place is probably so overloaded with work that they can choose individuals to be their students... Unfortunately, I can not recommend this place.

I had such a great experience here! Sean was so kind and so helpful. Trying a new instrument is so intimidating, but he made me feel very welcome and comfortable in the shop. This place was open in the middle of a blizzard, and made sure the instrument I rented for my husband was ready to go. A month later, a master in saxaphone, he is practicing and grateful for every minute of it. I am so thankful for Allegro, especially now.

Now that Guitar Center is like the Goodwill for music and the training facility for staff who don’t GAF about their customers, I’ve been looking for a shop close to home. These guys are great! Great selection of guitars and equipment. Very smart, helpful staff that are down to earth and wanted to honestly help me. I purchased a few small things this trip, but they’ll get my business when it’s guitar shopping time!

Good selection of piano books for students and teachers as well as band and orchestra books. I was disappointed there wasnt popular piano sheet music, but not surprised considering that its a small music store. Instruments are available to rent and they have some supplies there for guitars and such. They also have recorders for those 4th graders, which is why I went there!

We are looking for a viola and came to your store today to purchase one. We walked in and there was 1 person in front of us and 2 others walked in behind us. We waited over 20 minutes as your worker kept helping everyone else that walked in behind us. Needless to say you guys just lost the purchase of upwards to $1,000. Too bad because you guys have some really nice looking Violas from the shelf.

Went in for a string for my daughters new ukulele. Set me up replacement nylon string and did a basic tune, free of charge. I will definitely be going back!

The staff was easily the best feature of the store. They were very friendly and supportive in helping me understand their products and services. Not only do they sell instruments but they offer lessons and practice rooms too. The selection of used electric pianos was limited and the prices of new instruments was higher than what I could pay shopping online, but with services like rent-to-own (great rates) and such knowledgeable staff I will be a return client.

Friendly, fair price, easy location

If there is an negative star I will definitely rate this shop. We rent two cellos for our kids for 9 months with their rent-to-own program, we had been told that we can use the rental equity purchase ANY music instruments. However, when we returned them the staff told us our equity should be used on those rental/used musical instrument, if we want to use them on something different, they will take 25% from our equity and they also sell us those musical instruments $100 more. I went to the store three times and every time I got different explanation on their policy. Can you imagine they sell an $500 used Yamaha student flute which costs only $200 on amazon? And an ukulele for $145? Come on! We paid about $900 rental just thought we can get something interesting for our kids when we return but it ends up we just got 2 cheap Yamaha junior guitars which Allegro charged $250 each (only costs $135 on amazon). Highly recommend those who plan to rent musical instruments from them to get an used one from Craigslist or Facebook marketplace.Update 6/24/19You are very welcome to post the policy I signed here, if there is any. If you told customer the equity can be used for “rent to own”, I don’t understand what is the issue when we really want to buy some instruments. The problem is you guys keep changing the words you say to your customer. You literally want to throw an used Yamaha 220 student flute to us for about $500, which the a brand new newer model costs only $480 on amazon, that’s a rip-off! And come on, we both know what quality your cello are, those just basic student cello which you can find the new one in amazon $250 each.To those who want to rend musical instruments from Allegro, I suggest you do some research first on Facebook marketplace or Amazon, unless you do not care how much you paid. Their “rent-to-own” program will sell over-priced instruments to customers when they want to use the equity.

The clerk was very knowledgable about guitars and helped me troubleshoot an old classic acoustic that had string slippage, all for free and very friendly the whole time.
