I feel Big5 could use some tightening of its inventory selection. I enjoy they are still around and maybe doing what they can. But probably would do better with there smaller stores supplying gear I want to buy. Ive gone to several now and only ever walk out with maybe 1 item max. For example, not sure who makes the purchasing for their fishing department. Not seen 1 store with braided line. No lures I ever use. And it seems they just have substandard stuff. IMHO

Fir bring a small store I feel like they had more inventory the there competition. Cant go wrong shoping for your kids sports needs. Deffinetly wish they had more youth football inventory but it seems common with all the stores had little inventory on youth football stuff

Went in for Innova disc golf discs and there was a surprisingly decent selection!

Went in looking for a specific type of shoe. The gentlemen in the back were very helpful an knowledgeable. It was also very pleasing to see the hire disabled people like Anna to greet customers when they come in and out of the store!

I love shopping here. They have good prices and the staff are always helpful. I went there again 1/8/2020 and it was no exception. One of the employee’s was so incredibly nice and helpful I left with not only a new pair of shoes but a smile on my face that lasted all day as I went to work at my brewery. I wish I could remember his name. He deserves a pat on the back.

I dont do many reviews because unfortunately these days most of them wouldnt be good. However, I was so impressed with the kindness, helpfulness and attitude of these three guys on Friday evening 10/4/2019, that I had to leave a review. Was helped above and beyond the usual and these guys were kind polite and helpful. Its so refreshing in this day and age to have an experience like this! It was almost closing time and they couldnt have been nicer. I think their names were Nathan, John and Nick. I think I may have Nicks name wrong, but it was the three guys working the closing shift on 10/4/19. Will definitely be back! Had a great selection of merchandise too. Thanks again guys. I appreciate the great service!!!

Great staff, friendly atmosphere, great sale prices. Easy to overlook this place as its at an awkward location off of E-470 and Parker. But worth the time to drive here.Garrett and other staff members have provided me and my fiance with excellent and friendly service. Helping me hunt down a pair of clearance shoes is never easy. Highly recommend this place as an alternative to the bigger sports stores. Some sale prices for clearance merchandise beat online prices, as well.

Packs a lot of good merchandise in a small space and is of good value. Management is always visible and friendly. Even when busy, I always get asked if I need assistance. Much better than most of the other sporting good stores especially when compared to the namesake where the Rapids play.

Found a nice school backpack on sale for an amazing low price (under $20)! The staff are reasonably helpful but they dont always know much about the product they sell. We shop here frequently because they always have good athletic shoe sales.

Loved it. I stopped in to get a shoe from their ad. I was greeted by a gentleman employee who noticed my difficulty walking and my cane and was pleasantly surprised when he held the door open for me! On top of that, he asked what I was looking for, went to posted ad so I could tell him which shoes, asked my size and brought them out. He checked both shoes for correct size and asked if I wanted to try them on. I declined so he walked me to the front and rang me up. He held open the door and thanked me for shopping. Im only sorry about that I forgot his name!

I was very disappointed with the selection at a sporting goods store I guess if youre needing something general like shoes or basic equipment is for you. If you need something specific your better off somewhere like Cabelas

Whenever we have gone there, we are always greeted. The staff is friendly and helpful, and can help you find anything. There doesnt seem to be a lot of employee turnover.

They always have what I cant seem to find, at another sporting goods store, at a reasonable price. They will carry last years items or discontinued items, always at a reasonable price.

I came in looking for lacrosse stick, they had them...I think they said hello when we walked in, otherwise I was on my own, Im sure they would have helped out if I sought someone out with a question, but the staff isnt on top of your asking if you need help every five second.
