Ive had this for a few months (lef ear). Ive always had trouble hearing but never did anything about it being relatively young and not wanting to wear hearing aids. The bluetooth C50plus makes it easier. I use the bluetooth function for all my Skype conversations. I first used it watching television. I was able to lower the volume significantly. I was able to really test the hearing aid function when a couple of friends visited. It was four of us at the beach. Two simultaneous pair of conversations and the beach waves could be heard. I could hear the person I was talking with just fine, even though she was a woman (harder for me to hear high pitch) and she was about two meters away from me. Again, at home, with music on, two simultaneous conversations in and echoey living room and I could hear just fine. When a phone call came in, I just answered the phone and spoke using the bluetooth function, which is automatically activated as long as youre connected to bluetooth. I recommend using the App and playing with the levels in different environments. Note: connecting to the App is not the same as connecting to your Bluetooth. Connecting to the App allows you to change levels of high pitch, normal, and bass. Connecting by Bluetooth to a computer/phone/tablet, allows you to listen to sound coming out of that device. I had trouble connecting to bluetooth at first. I sent an email and received help in less than 24 hours. Good quality device with long-running batteries and good service.

Even though their products are customized by each purchaser they have always been willing to provide helpful advice and suggestions over the phone and in person. They are a great company to do business with. I use their CS50+ both as a personal hearing device and as a media player on my smartphone. It helps me hear well enough that I no longer have to ask people to repeat themselves. I can listen to the TV comfortable without being told I have the volume set too high. I really depend on my CS50+.

I have had one classic bluetooth looking CS50+ and this is the only device I use. Previously had a pair of > $2000 hearing aids that I no longer use. This thing is simple, and works better than the expensive devices I had which I have discarded. I seem to have no hesitation wearing this device anywhere and everywhere. I think I may be looking cool like the young techies who always seem to have a device in their ears :-)

Sound World Solutions is a great company to do business with. When you place an order, its processed and shipped quickly. Their shipping cost is reasonable as well. I dont know what their cut off dollar amount is, but when I ordered more expensive items (hearing devices), there was no charge for shipping. The times Ive ordered less expensive items (replacement batteries, plastic ear tips) the charge was a flat $3.00.I love the hearing devices I have from them, the Sound World Solutions CS50+. I have them for both the left & right ears, and they are amazing!. You dont need a smart phone to be able to make adjustments to the CS50+ devices, but if you do have a smart phone and download the CS Customer app, you can do a lot of fine-tuning in addition to the adjustments you can make using buttons on the devices themselves.All in all its a great company, and I recommend them to anybody looking to hear better. Buying hearing devices online can be daunting, but you can be confident when dealing with Sound World Solutions.

Very pleased with my hearing aids (HD75) - cant beat the price! I am a speech language pathologist and rely on my hearing to do my job. Without these aids, I would be struggling.If I had to redo my choice, I might spring for the larger size because they have rechargeable batteries, but I like the small size of the ones I bought. My dad got the rechargeables and seems pleased with them. I had to contact customer service about his aids, due to a needed repair due to an error on my part. They responded quickly to my phone call and fixed the issue.

Several years ago I came across SWS by accident. I have been wearing hearing aids for 40+ years. I learned about their new Sidekick sound amplifier (hearing device) and bought about 15 units and sold them to some of my contacts and gave several away. Their quality was absolutely amazing, but their aesthetics were a little large for most people. Now, along came the HD75 which rivals my expensive Oticon hearing aids that I obtain from the VA for free. My aids go for about $6,500 per pair and have no more functionality than the new HD75 SWS aids. The SWS iPhone app has more control over the HD75 than mu Oticon app has over my Opn-S-1 MiniRITE-T. Thats a fact! Battery life is the same, about 3-4 days. They are both about the same size. The only advantage the Oticons have is they have more power for a severe hearing loss such as mine on the left side, otherwise the SWS HD75 is just as good, maybe better because you can control it more, and the big deal is that there is no need for an office visit to an audiologist. I have used the rechargeable versions but this series are half the size and the batteries last days! The controls are either by hand or by a free app for your phone. You can also tailor the sound settings by using the customize hearing test built into the app. This is similar to a professional hearing expert. I like the ability to customize the sound if you change the ear piece to another style or size. They also have the ability to turn off by carefully opening the battery holder to a half-open position. You can also change the settings depending on the environment such as a restaurant. They have all the functions and more..... that you might find in a set costing 5-10 times as much.

I have used Sound World Solutions hearing aids since 2014 and they have truly made a huge difference in my life by bringing back hearing to me. They have continually improved their products with each version and product and have provided great customer support along the way. There most recent model, the HD75, is very small and is barely noticeable behind the ear. Highly recommended!

For at least 8 years I have improved my hearing with hearing aides from Sound World Solutions in Park Ridge, IL. I work as a sales person in a noisy, busy environment without any sound cushioning, so I rely on the latest model in each ear to both reduce the surrounding noise, and clearly interact with my customers on precise technical information. Over the past several years Ive used the HD100 Companion which has cool digital and USB charging features at a great price point for these type of features (my hearing starts around 55 db+). Sound World customer care has provided service and repairs to me promptly and on a fair deductible basis so yes, I recommend the company and product.

I have purchased both the CS50 and the Companion. I have been impressed with both, for their feedback cancellation, background noise reduction, and their hours of use per charge. The company ships quickly, and I would imagine they have good customer service, Ive never needed it. I would recommend these products to others on their journey for a good hearing device.

I have owned Sound World Solutions hearing aids for a few yrs now. I heard about them on a NPR program about companies trying to make hearing aids more affordable. I bought hearing aids through my hospital’s audiology dept. They were $3000 dollars in 2005. When I was time to replace them I had heard of Sound World Solutions and looked at their products as well as other “ internet hearing aids” I decided to go with the HD 100 Companion model. It has served me very well. I really liked them being rechargeable rather than buying batteries all the time. I did have some issues with the charging port, and their customer service was fast and corrected the problems at no charge to me. I was quite happy with what I was hearing with them. They are kind of bulky, and are easily seen, especially since my head is shaved and have no hair to cover or hold them in place. When the smaller HD 75’s came out a few years later they sent me a 20% percent off deal and I jumped on it. Again, I am very happy with what I hear with them. I now buy my batteries in larger amounts from online stores rather than the super market or pharmacy, it’s much more affordable as the batteries last about 3-4 days. The comfort factor is great! The HD 75 are much smaller, have all the features I need to get the best hearing I can. The Bluetooth feature really didn’t have as much use as I thought it would either for ph. calls or for streaming music. I only wear them at work. The hearing I get is as good as the $3000 ones I had. The hearing test you do on your ph. or tablet really helps to customize them so they work best for your hearing situation. . I would seriously recommend them to any one with hearing loss. I still see an ENT/Audiologist every few yrs just to see how my hearing is holding up. Since the Covid I stopped shaving my head and now have hair to cover them and it helps hold them in place better too. No hearing aid is perfect, I’am very happy with my purchases from Sound World Solutions and with their customer service as well.

I have enjoyed the CS50 for 5 years. In addition to custom programming for my specific loss, I can listen privately to any radio or TV show using the bluetooth capability, as well as answer the cell phone, and the spare battery enables continuous use. Reasonable price also.

I have a pair of HD75s. It took me a while to figure out how to minimize squealing. Most of the time theyre fine but where I was having trouble was when I got close to a surface with either ear or certain pitched sounds in songs or my surroundings that would trigger a squeal as well. At first it was so bad that I was considering returning them. But, a combination of getting the best sized ear tip for my ears, knowing how deep to set it in the ear canal and using the recalibrate ear tip function (that I didnt discover for weeks) have addressed most squealing issues. The biggest problem that I have now is that the tips work there way out of my ears when I chew which gets annoying because once they work their way out too far then the squealing issues come back.I normally use everyday mode and occasionally restaurant mode with background noise. I was afraid that theyd be terrible with music but theyre really not that bad. I do take them out if Im wanting to listen to music a bit louder. I also take them out of Im working and sweating.So why 5 stars if Ive had some issues? Well its because of the value. Ive never had a $3000 to $5000 pair of hearing aids but if I did, I would be very unhappy with the squealing issues. BUT for $400 to $500 dollars, these are very good. At the end of the day, I can hear conversations again. I dont miss things in important business meetings. I can hear in church again! Ive been able to minimize the problem I had to begin with to the point that it is livable so Im a happy customer.Thank you!

The customer service at Sound World Solutions is excellent. We have purchased both the HD100 Companion and the HD75 hearing aids. The HD100 stopped holding a charge after a couple years so we tried the HD75. My husband has trouble changing the batteries and inserting the smaller HD75 model and finds that they clog with wax easily. Customer service has helped us resolve this issue by providing wax guards for the HD75.

I have owned and used two Sound World Solutions HD100 hearing aids for years. They are excellent; especially for a “do it yourself” person.The easy to use CS Customizer application on my Ipad allows me to bluetooth connect to HD100s and adjust them to my hearing loss.I also use the HD100 bluetooth connection to listen to radio, movies, music on my tablet and cell phone.Last year I needed repair of broken wires on my HD100s and SWS provided prompt repair.The more recently available Comply Canal Tips provided a much improved fit for me.Prior to the HD100s I had the lower priced CS50+ devices; these served me well until obtaining the HD100s.I have used hearing devices for 25 years and have owned two different high $$$ hearing aids with audiologist only control, which was very disagreeable to me.In addition, prior to the HD100s, I owned several high end hearing devices that were helpful, but each had disagreeable aspects.

I have used Sound World Solutions products well over 6 years. I first used their CS50 Headset beginning in December 2014. The CS50 served me well and I upgraded to a pair of HD100 Companion Dual Ear Hearing Aids in April 2014. I have had hearing impairment most my adult life, with high pitched sounds being worse than low. I especially appreciate the Android smart phone app that allows me to test and adjust the aids, which helps bring the high pitched sounds up while leaving the low tones I hear well alone. Before I tried Sound World Solutions products I also unsuccessfully tried an expensive pair of professionally fitted hearing aids for three months. For me, the HD100 Companion aids have provided better hearing at a much lower price.

This product is my first experience in the hearing aid world and I am well pleased with it, especially for the price. The Sound World Solutions app made it easy to dial in the proper settings for each ear, and made an expensive trip to an audiologist unnecessary. The rechargeable battery is a huge plus as well. CS50+ is a good product Ive owned for several years. Its not a hearing aid, its an amplifier. I like that it amplifies ambient sounds and also works as a blue tooth headset for phone or tv.

I have used the CS50 for years and have been very pleased with it. Now I have recently purchased the HD75. It is equally as satisfactory. Of course being so small is a plus, although my hair covers it. I prefer using the 312 batteries; I dont have to change batteries every day. When I compare my experience with those who pay a lot for hearing aids, I think I hear just as well or better. With the everyday setting, loud, crashing sounds dont bother me. I find that quite amazing for the price we pay.

This is my first hearing aid purchase so I dont have anything to compare them too (HD75). I am not that good with my android smart phone and had some concern about setting them up, but found the Sound World app easy to use even for me! The hearing aids work as they should, are comfortable and easy to insert and adjust and the sound and amplification are very clear. Battery life is good and I am not bothered with whistling. I also purchased the dryer as I live in a humid area of the US. I have not had to call customer service so I cannot rate them. Im hoping my new hearing aids last a long and carefree life!

Ive been using SoundWorld hearing assistance devices for several years. They give me the edge to not say What was that? Recently, I switched to the HD75. I miss the Bluetooth capability of the older devices, but love the near invisibility of the HD75.

I have minimal to moderate hearing loss at the high frequencies in my right ear. The Companion hearing device provides the right amount of amplification to hear those frequencies when listening to music. I appreciate features like 3 different environmental settings and a rechargeable battery. This is definitely a good buy for the money!

I purchased their top of the line product, HD100-HA, Companion a year and a half ago. This is an actual hearing aid not just a personal sound amplifier. I am totally satisfied with how the product works. The rechargeable batteries last all day if I turn off the Bluetooth. The phone App that controls the sound adjustments is very well executed and easy to learn and navigate. The adjustments are easy to do to get the sound as good as possible. I was able to adjust my hearing aids to sound as good as some $5,400 hearing aids that I tried out for a week. They stood by their warranty and turned around my aids sent for repair in less than a week.However, the physical design of the product leaves much room for improvement.1. No matter which tip I use, and Ive tried all their custom tips, the ear pieces work themselves out of position in my ears and have to be repositioned frequently especially if I am eating or talking. The $5,400 competitor has a very effective method of retaining their earpieces that involve a little whisker spring that locks into your outer ear.2. The tiny cable between the earpiece and body of the hearing aid is adjustable via a telescoping, flexible tube. After a while the telescoping portion locks up and the cable length can no longer be adjusted. So once it is adjusted at first, it is better to leave it that way and not try to adjust it again, or you can damage the tiny cable, which is what I did.3. The worst problem is that the plastic shell that fits behind your ear partially disintegrates where the battery charger cable plugs into the USB port. The owners manual describes how to plug and unplug the charger to avoid damaging the shell but even after carefully following their instructions Ive broken four of their hearing aids. To their credit they quickly replaced three of the units under warranty. The fourth one broke after the end of the warranty, so I glued it back together myself. Until they announce that they have fixed this problem I cannot recommend their product. If they could fix this problem I would highly recommend their product because I can live with the other two problems Ive described.I want to report that they repaired my hearing aid that was out of warranty for free. They apparently have improved the shell around the charger plug as the repaired model that I just received appeared to have a thicker shell above the charger port. I can now give their product my full recommendation.

I have been using Sound World devices since 2016. They provide excellent sound for different environments. The entertainment and restaurant settings are very helpful. Blue tooth connectivity is excellent for TV and device listening. Overall an excellent value with good service. A negative is the micro USB battery charging. The device has to be returned to be replaced.

After more than 20 years of purchasing high end hearing aids ($6000 plus per pair) I decided to try Sound World Solutions HD100 behind the ear hearing aids.I have been extremely happy with them due to the fact that I can tailor the sound to my personal needs using the app on my phone. ( normally would need to make an appointment with audiologist to do this)The bluetooth feature allows me to connect my hearing aids to my TV or Ipad. Now I do not need subtitles.The rechargeable feature allows me to go all day without having to replace a battery in the middle of a conversation. the batteries last somewhere between 14 - 17 hours, slightly less if watching a lot of TV with bluetooth.If these hearing aids were $6000, they would still compare favorably against the other $6000 hearing aids.The fact that they are only one tenth of the price makes them incomparably outstandingRudi Carroll

Just purchased a pair of HD75 hearing aids and they work as well or better than my old rechargeable pair but are MUCH smaller. They have the same excellent app which is really easy to use. I love the wide range of settings to fine tune the sound. Amazingly inexpensive. They are way better than the Vox aids I have.

I do not wear the Companion pair all the time, but when I need to hear better, they help a lot. Especially with the sponge tips, which stay in place and better convey the sound. Excellent for listening to podcasts while walking.

I have very little hearing at high frequencies and had tried a few hearing aids (including a $5000 unit) and was disappointed in each case. The Sound World Solutions HD75 hearing aid has been the best I have tried so far. I particularly appreciated the capability to set up my personal hearing profile using the app. The restaurant mode has been helpful and I have made good use of the treble control in certain environments.I have found that the HD75 hearing aids will let out a squeak occasionally when listening to music and when my ear is near an object. One other problem I have had is keeping the ear tips in my ears even after trying different size ear tips.

HD75 is working for my bad ear. Im not that dependent on it, but it helps, the price is decent, and it is small. It is not super secure vs athletic activities, but so light it has not fallen out, just dangles from my ear sometimes. When my hair was longer I noticed this issue less, I assume my hair helped hold it in place. Overall, I recommend the HD75.

I bought the HD75 hearing aid and think it is really great! I have strong hearing loss and the volume is excellent and with the smartphone app and Bluetooth I was able to optimize the sound settings for my specific hearing needs. The instrument is tiny and the earpiece fits comfortably and safely into the ear... much more so than previous hearing aids costing hundreds more. Highly recommended!

I recently purchased a set of HD75 Aids and cant say enough good about them. Small, discrete, comfortable and natural sounding right out of the box. I had the rechargeable units previously and miss the convenience of that, but the batteries seem to last quite a bit longer than a recharge in the new HD75s. My wife loves them too, no more....What? Say it again! Just one more enhancement would be to allow bluetooth to feed both units. You can only stream music to one unit at a time. Sure would like stereo. Overall great product.

As a physicist I am not only greatly impressed with the performance of their sound amplifier, but also with their customer service: when dropped the ear piece on a sidewalk a month ago, it shattered and I collected the pieces. I sent them to the Company and they re-assembled them without cost and returned the repaired amp to me within a week! Thank you, Sound World Solutions!

I ordered the Companion Hearing Aids and they arrived on July 20th. I tried all the suggestions from the website, but they just dont work for me. Amplifies the background noise too much. I am trying to contact the company to return the produce before the 45 day guarantee and the phone number box is full. I have sent 2 emails to customer support with no response in return. Not a good reflection on the company.

I have worn the Companion hearing aids in both ears for about five years now. I have profound high frequency hearing loss in each ear. They have worked well for me but no hearing aid is perfect. I still have trouble understanding children and female speech. But, the Bluetooth performance is absolutely perfect. They connect to my Samsung cell phone, my Windows 10 desktop computer, and my Alead lapel mic. I can actually carry on a phone conversation using my cell phone. It would be impossible to do so without my Companion hearing aids.
