Ive been using Norton Paint for years. I really like the quality of Benjamin Moore paint. Recently remodeled my bathroom. Needed advice on a couple of painting projects for it. Employee gave me a few options and it came out great.

By far the best place to buy paint, painting supplies and wallpaper... (and weve been to many...The sales people are so nice and so knowledgeable. They are never too busy to help with their professional advice.They also have the best selection of wallpaper you can find...and a comfortable area to sit and browse through all the many books of wallpaper samples.

I just wanted to thank Danielle for helping me the other day during my purchase. As someone who was completely stuck between colors, she really took the time out of her way to help me choose and gave me some really good advice when it comes to matching different color tones. She even gave me the idea of working with wall paper as an accent! If anyone is looking to remodel then I would definitely recommend coming to speak to her. Overall I had great experience and will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family! Thank you!

Excellent service!! Salesperson was very helpful when my girlfriend and I were picking out paint colors for the rooms in her new house! The man behind the counter was also very helpful and gave great advice on how much paint was needed based on the sizes of the rooms (gave us his recommendations for how many coats of primer and coats of paint for each room!) Paint was mixed very quickly and he also offered to assist is carrying the paint an and the other supplies to the car. I strongly recommend this location!

Great store for Benjamin Moore product. Knowledgeable staff but wallpaper experts get in later than offical official closing time so call ahead. A little tricky to pull into parking lot and merge back on Rt. 17S.

I’ve known John Norton since 1966 and has always proven to be a respected individual in the paint industry..he is well known in the north Jersey community and has a well deserved loyal following. I was an employee of his from 1966-1969 and he taught me a great deal about the paint trade and how and why people buy the way they do...he’s a class act and we should all be lucky enough to meet a guy like him that is willing to share his knowledge....

Excellent, personalized service. The staff was very helpful and polite. Huge selection of colors. We went with the Benjamin Moore Historical Collection. The colors are beautiful and flow seamlessly from room to room. It was a great experience. So much better than going to those big chain stores. We were in and out with our paint in no time at all!

Living now for 2 years in the area, I’ve waited to review. I’ve had two positive experiences and two extremely negative experiences. The last one left me upset, shaking and vowing to not give it another try. Two different male employees behind the paint counter have made me feel uncomfortable. In a customer is always right country they have belittled me and tried to make me feel worthless as a customer. The last time the associate raised his voice, got physically aggressive with raising his hands telling me and everyone else in the store he couldn’t help me and I left shaking feeling upset when all I asked was for a paint to be colored as had previously been done two years prior. He was rude, aggressive and this behavior should not be tolerated by his colleagues either. I will find another Benjamin Moore store somewhere else in the area going forward.

The staff was very helpful, across the board. There was someone ready to suggestpaint colors to compliment the fabric and tile samples I brought with me. After the paint was mixed, they carried it to my car for me.

To me Benjamin Moore is the best. Been using it 30 years and yes Ive tried the other guys (had to go back to ben to make it look good no matter the project ) and at Norton the staff is incredible. There are people there that know about everything in the place. But if you dont want quality go somewhere else.

We went in wanting to buy Benjamin Moore and met a woman named Linda. She was EXTREMELY helpful and knowledgeable. She knew everything about the colors and paint qualities. I have to admit I was very, very impressed by her. She helped us pick the right color with trims. She explained why certain colors and shades went together. We did not buy paint today because we need the quantities from our painter, but I will not hesitate to buy from here. Furthermore the store seems to have every painting accessory and tool you could possibly need. I look forward to doing business with them.

The only place I buy paint or stain. This is a real paint store. Prices arent cheap but the higher the quality paint the higher the price. Theyre on par with other paint store prices. The guys are helpful although sometimes some of them seem theyre depressed to be there. Great selection of brushes and other tools.

Exceptional service at Nortons! I have purchased my blinds from Sue - who is absolutely amazing! A true asset at Nortons! She knows her stuff and gets the best pricing around on Hunter Douglas blinds. The men are always so helpful when I order paint, they chat with me and actual get to know their customers. I cant imagine going anywhere else for my blinds & paint services! Thank you Sue and Nortons staff!

Poor customer service. I special ordered paint and they told me it would be there the next day. I went 2 times the next day, the first time the truck had not arrived, understandable the second time the man behind the counter wasted 20 minutes of my time keeping me waiting and looking for the paint I ordered. The conclusion was the paint I had ordered was out of stock however there were 5 gallons in the store that someone else had supposedly ordered. No apologies and a rude brush off like they were doing me a favor! I got the same treatment today when I called to complain, barely an apology from the manager. You have heard of the soup Nazis these are the “Paint Nazi’s”. Save your time and money and go to Sherwin Williams in Ridgewood, better product and much nicer and better customer service. But if you like being treated poorly Norton’s on route 17 in Paramus is for you.

Terrible service. The individual who helped me couldnt have been more disinterested in what I was asking for. You wont find much help or advice at this store. So much for friendly customer service. Not to mention, the prices are inflated beyond reason. I found the particular paint I purchased for 20-25% less at two other paint stores. Stay away and find yourself a more respectable establishment.

INSULTING SERVICE. I stood at the counter for 15 minutes while 3-4 men chatted in the back. NO one spoke to me or even looked at me (looked through me!). Finally I left.Dont know if it was because Im a woman or because they just couldnt be bothered, but Ill go elsewhere to buy my paint!

She had some great advice on how much paint was needed and how many coats of primer.
