I cant give a 5 Star rating since I was in and out within 5 minutes. I had called ahead for 9B graphite sticks and they had just the quality I needed, put them behind the counter for holding. When I arrived I spoke to the cashier and shure enough they were there. I paid and was out. I would of loved to of walked around to get a glimpse of their offerings but current climate facilitated an in and out quicky attitude. But on line @ dickblick.com I get most of my art supplies and as Tony says THEYRE GREAT!

The store is very well maintained and kept in pristine order. Great selection of brushes and media. Everything else is present too, covering all bases, but maybe not with an extravagant variety. No matter how busy the store is, the staff is always on hand and helpful.

One of the best Blick Art Materials in the whole chain! I dont know what that grumpy dude from a few days ago was talking about... The associates are some of the nicest, most friendly, and knowledgeable folks in any retail store there is. If they dont know something, theyll find out. If they dont have something, theyll give you the options on how they can help get it for you. Its a big, bright, clean store thats so much fun to browse. Make sure to get a preferred customer card while youre there, too. Youll save a lot of money on really high quality supplies.

The Blick Art Materials store in Philadelphia has them all whooped. This store Paramus location is ok. The employees could be a lot more knowledgeable of the supplies that are sold. It should be more inviting like the one in Philly. I love Blick no matter where I go. An upgrade is needed to match Philadelphia.

Has almost every art supply you could think of. The only reason my rating isnt 5 stars is because they have a huge collection of graphite pencils, but they dont have any mechanical pencils. Other than that I was very pleased with my experience.

I mean, its Blick. Anything less than 5 stars makes zero sense! If you want the best quality art supplies go to Blick. If you want mediocre, go to one of those crafting stores.

Great selection overall, especially for paints of various types, and youll find some common brands and items in uncommon sizes and varieties which can really be helpful when you need something special. Good quantity discounts on pencils, brushes etc. (called Buy more, save more). Most items are average retail prices, but be cautious, as certain items can be surprisingly expensive or overpriced compared to other companies. Their own Blick mdse brand has some excellent quality items with good pricing.

Diversified art store mostly for art painters. Some items could be on sale - worth browsing. To my opinion some hard to find items for artists painters. If it weren’t for the obnoxious and unhelpful staff - I would’ve given it 5 Stars. Don’t believe reviews with 5 stars here - they’re mostly fake. The front desk staff is a BIG problem! Unwilling to help. They have an “attitude” - a “bad” attitude.

I would give 5 stars but they are very pricey but they have a very large selection of art supplies like ceramics, oil painting, acrylic paint, and wood working. The staff were very helpful and seem to know enough about every topic to be able to help you out with whatever you need. Some selections are small like for ceramics its not much but acrylic paints and spray paints they have quite a lot of

Staff were incredibly helpful in locating supplies and insightful on mediums, techniques, and applications of said mediums. Store had am overwhelming selection of supplies and a vast stock of said supplies. Store was also clean and orderly and it is easy for customers to get what they need in a timely manner. Additionally (while many may not consider this), the shopping bags supplied are durable, which is especially good for commuters, someone one who may get a lot, or people who are environmentally conscious.

Employees were extremely helpful and pleasant! As a total beginner trying to get into acrylic painting, they had great suggestions and helpful tips for everything from painting to brush care. Definitely will be coming back! They also offer discounts for students and teachers (which I dont qualify for, but I thought was great!)

Clean, organized, many items.

This store was absolutely fantastic. The staff was extremely helpful and the store was very organized. I have been working on putting together a portfolio for a potential job offer, and went to Blick with my boyfriend to try and get my materials. Allie and Phil, the two associates that helped me, were very helpful and helped me pick out the paints and brushes I needed. I did it feel like they were talking down to me, or like they had any superior knowledge that they were lording over me, but we’re just there as friends to help me pick out paint. I left the store with a good set of paints and brushes that will help me with my project, and an eagerness to go back when I need more!

Blick Art store is like being a kid in a candy shop for artists. I love the place.( but my wallet doesnt ) 😀

Pretty well stocked. Could use a larger variety of graffiti spray cans. Staff is friendly, when you can find them. Ive walked throughout the store looking for a staff member for help on many occasions and theyre not always around. Ive literally spent up to five minutes at times looking for help. The back room seems to be a popular hangout spot for them.

This art store is amazing! It had all the items my daughter was looking for in order to work on her ceramics AP project. Less stuff than the website but still very stocked with the necessary items.

Good place, spray paint set up now looks nicer but is very awkward to get what u need especially if your not sure of exactly what u want. The pre-corona setup was so much easier to look for what u wanted if u were just shopping to get stuff for your stash. Other than that, great place, but i like buying spray paint at Jerrys much better just because it so much less of a hastle to do.

Cant beat Block for the greatest variety of art supplies

If you need thick cardboard. Or something sturdy for your projects this is the place. Also prices were not bad. The people that work there were very nice and helpful. I will be going back.

Blake Art store has everything an artist would need. All of the top brands of art supplies.They run events and workshops as well. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff.Chyna helped me she was great! I highly recommend Blick art store the best one around.

This store isnt as large as Michaels but, their selection is of good quality and streamlined so, you dont have as many choices. Personally, this helps me make decisions quicker and I feel that they stores who do this only carry the best products.They had everything from gifts, paints, crafting kits, books, canvases, paint brushes, coloring books to jewelry making supplies. The line was a bit long but, it moved quickly and the lady at the register was pleasant. They also have plenty of parking in a private lot.

Such a variety of supplies for any art or craft you can think of. Helpful staff and plenty of parking. I always enjoy visiting.

This is the only Blick in New Jersey, and as a result Im sure it draws people from all over. I had come to pick up markers that were only available at this store and drove for over an hour to do so. Its just disappointing to then get there and did out they didnt have it. I had to go to New York. I wish they would stay on top of the stock here a little more, but the store was at least organized and the staff seemed nice despite how busy it was.

My wife is the Artist, we came across Blick Art Materials in Paramus NJ.Was real easy to find on Rt4 West.The staff was very knowledgable and helpful and the abundance of Product was incredible. We give it a 10+ . Prices are appropriate for the quality of materials available. On another note... the Atmosphere and Music was great!

This Paramus location of Block art supplies is great. Selection, service. I just went to their fall sale. Im glad they took it over from Pearl Paint when it went out of business. I dont know what I would have done without the store. Highly recommended.

This was my go-to place throughout college and still is even after I graduated. They have great deals and a lot of supplies for every form of art. Its definitely one of my favorite places to go.

Considering the Pearl closed on Rt17, this is the place to go for art supplies in the area. Its geared specifically towards artists rather than the craft stores such as Michaels and AC Moore. The selection here is great. I came looking for pens, and they gave HUNDREDS. Another great thing, is since Blick is aimed specifically for artists, youll meet some seriously talented and knowledgeable artists here - I met a professional inker who works for Marvel, and he guided me thru which pens to use!

They have a decent selection and their prices are okay. I like to shop at their online store, because if you dont have a car, its very inconvenient to get to this location.

Here is what I call an artist paradise, what ever you need for what ever you do they pretty much have it, if not there catalog will definitely have it.

This location is horrible with customer service,I went today to this location for the first time and was approached by the manager and was asked if I needed any help and I said not at this moment,but as soon as I asked another employees about a certain item, the manger comes running to inform me about a policy .after I had already walked around the location and was asked if I needed help .I really felt disrespected by how she suggested what I should do with my food that I just purchased from Starbucks next door.
