I had a lovely experience earlier this week at this store. Vince was amazing and very knowledgeable about diamonds and helped me pick out a stunning ring for my daughter. Also tried on a gorgeous pearl necklace that I plan to purchase for my wedding. I was greeted immediately and felt very comfortable. I will definitely get all my future pieces of jewelry here!

The Papillion location is always understaffed and the wait time is unacceptable. Today all I needed to do was pick up something I needed fixed. Takes about 3 minutes. Instead of helping me the woman said she is going to help someone else. That person was these to buy something. Im waiting for no other reason then she sales woman wants to make a sale. I would be gone by now but Im writing this insted.

Would give zero stars if I could. Please do not do your business with this Kay Jewelers. When my now husband and I went to go pick out a wedding ring for me, we were under the impression that we were getting a full wedding band set. When we go to pick up the ring, it was only the wedding ring, and not the band. They stated it was not included. So we ended up having to buy another wedding band for me. Since I had my ring custom made, it was not symmetrical with the diamonds matching on each side of the ring. They ended up redoing/fixing it for me. When I got the ring back, it was still not correct. Now you can see right under the diamond stone, where the missing little diamond was that they needed to remove in order to insert the stone. Unbelievable. Extremely poor quality control. I will not be going back to this kays. I will be going to another Kay Jewelers to have this fixed properly. Not to mention the manager is super unprofessional.

So far so good. It was a pleasant experience overall. The jeweler guy( not sure what theyre called) seemed knowledgable about the products and helped me make a purchase that I was fine with. If it helps at all, I didnt leave the store feeling like I got ripped off.

Will not shop with Kay Jewelers company again. It has been an entirely disappointing process. Purchased a wedding band, Kay Jewelers refused to size it, I got married and was forced to purchase a different band from another company (who was phenomenal and immediately resized the band). Kay Jewelers refused to take the ring back saying resizing was the only option. Kay’s employees took the measurements for resizing and when I went to pick up the ring more than 3 weeks later, it does not even fit properly with my engagement ring or on my finger. It has been a terrible experience with this company.

We have been to this location multiple times. My husband bought my engagement ring there and had a wonderful experience. We also bought our wedding bands there and even had them engraved with no issues. We go every 6 months to get our rings checked and clean and they have been nothing but nice and welcoming. Even when we don’t buy anything and are just there for the free check

I went in with my wife to buy her a set of diamond earrings and purchase new wedding bands for both of us. After my wife picked out her earrings we were able to get our fingers sized. When I said I didnt want to open a line of credit with them they immediately rang us up and made us feel uncomfortable to keep shopping. This definitely cost them the sale of 2 wedding bands.

They did an arthritis band on my ring a few years ago. Never worked right and eventually caused a stress fracture. I took it in and they fixed the stress fc and put in a new arthritis band. It works great now! They did not charge me for this because they said it was not right or this would not have happened. Thanks Vince

Went in to look at engagement rings. I realized in 2 min of talking to the sales lady that this is comision based. Having a seeing disorder I began using my magnifier to better look at soom rings, was told that that was unwelcome behavior.. as soon as another person walked in the sales lady rudely had someone else take her place so she could pounce. Car salesmen would be horrified. Glad to say I purchased a beautiful ring that day from Erins jewelry.. at least they know how to treat people.

Took my wedding ring into have it repaired. They shipped it off and when they got it back it was the wrong ring. I talked with Vince and he made sure that I understood it would be taken care off. Instead of making me wait long for them to track down the issue they gave me a new ring to match my old one. Have been shopping here for years and will continue. Thanks to the great customer service from Vince.

I called in a panic to see if they could assist in removing a ring after damaging my finger and they said to come in and they would take a look. After trying a few things they decided it needed to be cut off but they didnt have the tools. A few calls were placed and we found somewhere nearby that they talked into staying open until I got there. Thank you so much for the help, I was more than a little emotional and they handled me with great care!

Very disappointed that I chose to entrust my wedding ring to Kay Jewelers for re-sizing. It took THREE attempts for them to finally get it (almost) right.1st time: brought it in to be resized, I explained that there was a sentimental engraving on the inside of each band, and that it was not to be touched.Got my ring back a few weeks later, it was incorrectly sized. So we sent it to the shop, again.2nd time: I got my ring back, wrong size again, and the engraving was GONE. The ring was oval shaped, not a circle. A huge chunk of metal was missing from the band making it uneven. They tried very lazily to re engrave one of the bands hoping that make it “right” after destroying the original engraving. The engraving attempt they made was pathetic. Barely legible. And up next to the gemstones, not centered on the band like it used to be. I cried in the store, and no one seemed to care. Vince said he would make it right, and to come back and have it re done, and that they would fix the engraving and make it all perfect again.3rd time sent to the shop: decided with it being so close to the wedding we might as well get the bands soldered together at this point too. The day after I was guaranteed to have my ring back, I called the location I dropped it off at to figure out when it would be back. THEY LOST IT. The lady on the phone said she didn’t know where it was, and the shop hadn’t confirmed receiving it. And NO ONE felt the need to let me know that they never received it, I had to call after not getting it back when I was supposed to. Vince ended up calling me back later that afternoon and said the shop found it, they had it in their “quality box”, getting it ready. He said it would be back within a week. It ended up getting back a few days earlier than the second estimation, thankfully. Correct size, they fixed the engraving (still not in the correct spot on the band, and one of them wasn’t very well done, but it’s there, that’s what mattered to me.) the soldering was done very nicely, the band was evened out, overall besides the engraving being wrong, it was finally almost perfect. They didn’t charge me for the soldering service, which I appreciated.But that was all they did for me, after a several month ordeal of stressing and being disappointed and at the end still heartbroken, because they for some reason couldn’t get their act together and just do one simple thing correctly.I will NEVER go back to Kay Jewelers for any reason. I will never purchase anything from them, or have any services done through them. I will never recommend them to anyone. They ruined an extremely sentimental thing of mine, and even after three attempts it still isn’t right. It’s close, but at this point I didn’t even want to trust them with taking it again and risk it being even worse.

A few weeks ago we had our six month ring inspection to keep up with the insurance policy we purchased with them. The main diamond ended up being loose so they took if for repairs. It took two weeks but they finally got us the ring back with a horrible diamond mounted to the engagement ring. Apparently they broke the main diamond while trying to mount the diamond securely to the prongs of the ring. That diamond they mounted has a big inclusion a.k.a. a big scratch on the inside of the diamond, so big you could easily see it with the naked eye. The Second diamond they showed us had carbon a.k.a a ton of black dots that you could see with the naked eye. The third diamond had a bigger inclusion than the first diamond which I found difficult to believe. The fourth diamond had air bubbles inside of it, yes air bubbles! Never had I known such diamonds existed nor that Kay Jewelers would carry such poor quality diamonds. The last diamond they showed us had a plethora of blemishes a.k.a external defects. The manager there said those were the diamonds to choose from. For now I am stuck with this diamond that is a shame and disgrace to show to those who would like to congratulate me and see the ring. I would hate for this to happen to anyone else.

The employees at Kays at Shadow Lake go above and beyond to help their customers! While I was there I actually witnessed an in store proposal that a couple of their employees helped set up. The customer and his new fiance started crying because they were so happy. It was a sweet moment and I would recommend this store to anyone. Their employees truly do care.

I am extremely disappointed with my latest experience at the Shadowlake Towne Center Kay Jewelers and will probably never give my business to Kay Jewelers again. My wife and I went in to buy each other anniversary gifts. My wife purchased me the Bulova Marine Star watch and she picked out Ever Us Two-Stone Ring 3/4 ct tw Diamonds 14K Rose Gold ring which was on sale online for a little over $1,000. It wasnt in store so we had to order it to the store. My wife and I had earned a $200 rewards coupon and another $100 one. We were hesitant about buying the ring just because it was a bit expensive but after speaking with the saleswomen for about an hour she assured us numerous times we could use our rewards towards and she wanted to give us the best deal possible. Of course we believed her and went ahead and made the purchase. She had us pay full price for the ring but then told us to come into the store the following Saturday (when the ring would be in) and she would have us return the ring and rebuy it because at that point we could use our rewards. We arrive to Kay on Saturday like she told us to and she didnt show. The store manager tells me exactly what I feared in the first place, that these rewards cant be applied to the ring even though we the prior Kay saleswomen assured us over and over that wouldnt be the case. He says we can wait for her but after 30 minutes she never shows. We find out that she works on the following Tuesday so we get to the store and she acts like she never met us before. After watching her dabble on the computer she tells us the EXACT OPPOSITE of what she promised the week prior...the rewards cannot be used. I reminded her that she did not at all follow through on what she promised prior and that we wouldnt have bought the ring in the first place had this been the case. Were not necessarily made about not getting a deal on the ring, although I feel like she should know how rewards instead of misinforming customers making a decent purchase. Were upset we were lied to just to make a sale. Not to mention all the time wasted time spent at Kay. Going forward we will no longer be doing business with Kay and will instead be doing business with other more honest jewelers.

Completely unsatisfied with the whole experience at this Kays location, from the quality of repair work to the customer service in the store. When my Fiancé and I brought our rings in to get sized and soldered I was due for my second 6 month inspection, the employee informed me that they have no record of me bringing my ring in for the prior 6 month inspection. I went in at 3/30/17 to pick up our rings, and our brand new rings came back to us in worse condition than what they left in! My ring came back dented, the solder job on my ring is horrible, it has huge uneven gaps when it should be sealed and it has two large bumps on the bottom of the ring. My Fiancé’s ring came back with a scuffed up and dull gold band with a diamond missing on the Leo part of the inner band. The rings were dropped off 2 months before we leave to get married, and now have to be sent back for repairs that were caused by the jewelry repair person and we have no written guarantee that we will have these back in time for when we leave out of town for our wedding. We are extremely dissatisfied with the customer service in store from (who I think is the manager). We voiced our dissatisfaction with the damages to our rings, and how unhappy we are to make several trips back to the store, because it is not a close drive, she rolled her eyes several times and was unapologetic and just flat out took no ownership for her company, the she only said this happens more time than youd think. I saw “Camera’s down” written on the repair paperwork, which leads me to believe something is being covered up in this situation. We are very understanding people, but this is completely ridiculous, and if I knew this was going to be such a nightmare I wouldve never purchased through this company. I will never purchase from this store again!!!

The number of bad reviews baffles me. They must have gotten new management within the past couple years because our experience was incredible. Vince and Caitlyn helped us immediately with all of our questions, trying on rings and adding various discounts onto the purchase. They waited patiently while I waited for my husband to meet me there and while we were discussing our decision. I now have my DREAM engagement ring and wedding band that costed a fraction of the original price tag. They were both so personable and made our whole shopping experience fun and easy! Thank you Kays for hiring such great employees!! We’ve been coming here the past 2 years and will continue coming to the Shadow Lake Kays.

We are getting married in 4 days and Kay Jewlers has messed my ring up TWICE, and Ashley Murphy the district manager refused to do anything to make it right. We now have no ring for our wedding day and she simply doesnt care. We were going to get a whole new set so we would have something, but ASHLEY actually RAISED the price! Another bride getting married Friday was in here earlier crying. Brides, save your time and sanity and guys do your future bride a favor and DO NOT WALK INTO THEIR STORE!Shadow lake location.

They have messed up my ring 3 times now. First it was sent to be resized and they only resized 2 out of 3 bands but still put it together, after getting it back (2 months later) the main diamond fell off, another 3 weeks to fix it. A couple of weeks ago I went in just to get them cleaned, the manager, Connie cleaned them for me. Later on that night I noticed one was turning yellow so I went back the next day. The girl that helped me first said it was just the metal. I explained to her that one ring was silver and one was white gold, she didnt seem to believe me and checked and confirmed. We came to the conclusion that the wrong cleaner had been used. She said we have a new girl so it mustve been her not knowing what she was doing I explained to her it was actually the manager who had cleaned it. They never once apologized or offered to make it right I had to demand for it to be cleaned properly. I have been to different branches and have never had any problems, this one just needs better management.

This was one of the few places that would adjust the links in a watch we received as a gift. I had to call around to several places (including other Kay Jewelers), before finding a place that would adjust a watch. Most places either required you to have purchased the watch from them or charged a really high rate. This location did it free of charge (however, they did suggest a donations to St Judes). We gladly drove 30 minutes to this location and made a donation. The staff was friendly and service didnt take long at all. Will be going back to this location in the future!

The store manager, Connie, is so rude. She has very poor people skills and should not work with people period. She was completely disrespectful. We walked into the store to take back a ring we bought online and buy another in store to replace it. Instead they exchanged the rings which didnt seem like a big deal in hindsight. We exchanged the rings, in which Connie was very rude about. Not sure why she had such a problem with it. And Im also not sure why the girl who helped me with the second ring couldnt figure it out on her own. They informed us it would be a $20 resizing charge for the new ring. At that point we said no thank you, we can order it online for free. Then Connie said they would do the re sizing for free if we bought it in store. So we said okay fine. After we left the store we saw that they just took $20 off the ring and still charged us to re size the ring. Not that big of a deal but she lied to us. And if I didnt end up liking the ring I would have lost the $20 if I went to return it. So my husband went back in the same day and confronted Connie about it and told her we just wanted a refund because she lied and was rude about it when he confronted her. They refunded the ring but not the sales tax. That makes no sense. So we returned two brand new rings and lost the sales tax on one. And connies response was I dont know what happened. Not Ill fix it, not I dont know what happened but Ill call someone, just sorry have a nice day. And she really expected us to leave the store $21 short of what we came in with. The whole situation seemed like a computer issue but Connie was just terrible the whole time. Very snotty. Even rude to the girl who worked there that asked her for help. Never again will I buy jewelry from them. And I buy all my jewelry there. Its a shame I have a lifetime warranty on my wedding ring and have to take it there. Definitely not going to the papillion location.

I went to this store a few days ago to ask about an adjuster for my engagement ring because it is a bit big. The man that I talked to lacked customer service skills and sent me to Claire’s instead! He said he didn’t have what I was looking for, barely asked any questions and no smile what so ever. He should not work there. Will never go back there.

Ive been a frequent customer to the Kay in Papillion since 2012 when I got engaged. Since then I have had nothing but issues with my wedding ring.Since our wedding I have upgraded my diamond in my ring to a bigger one and the diamond has fallen out twice now. Once this past July and now this April. Which I dont understand why Im having this issue since I dont frequently wear my ring. I took my ring in on April 30th to see what they could do for me. Since I was 3 months past the 6 month inspection date they said more than likely I would have to at least pay half for the diamond to be replaced and they would send it to the home office to have an inspection done to see why its doing that and to get an estimate.So I left my ring there to send into the home office. Meanwhile the two girls helping me (Sierra and Desiree) said their manager had just gotten back from vacation and she would give me a call in the next couple of days to let me know whats going to be happening.Almost two weeks later Ive heard nothing back from the manager about whats going on with my ring so I decided to call and ask about it. I called and the girl who answered the phone told me my ring wouldnt be coming back until July 2nd and she doesnt know what is going on with it or why its going to take so long. Also didnt offer to check in with the manager to see if she knew anything. Her answer was just we dont know.I got a call yesterday from Sierra that my ring was in and had been repaired and that there was a cost. My husband called back and spoke to Connie (the manager) to let her know that we didnt give them the okay to fix the ring and that they were supposed to be getting us an estimate and letting us know what was going on (which obviously nobody had any idea what was going on). My husband also asked if they figured out the problem as to why the diamond had been falling out because why would we put more money into a ring that keeps falling apart. Her response was I dont know if you want we can just send it back to the home office and they can take it back apart.So we ended up just paying for the ring even though we didnt give the okay, but Id rather not send it back and not have any idea when Im getting it back. I appreciate everything Sierra and Desiree did to try and help me. Either one of them would be a better fit as manager than Connie.

Im going to start this review off with a PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS KAYS STORE! You wont regret going somewhere else..even to another Kays location. The manager Connie here needs to be fired and believe me, I am going above her to tell her boss what a horrible person and sales associate she is. My boyfriend purchased an engament ring here for me and Connie helped along in the process. They sat down together and he specifically told her NOT to mail anything to our house. He wrote down his email and told her to call him...even paid the ring off in cash so their wouldnt be a receipt. So..what happened? I was checking the mail like any other day and I opened information on the ring thinking it was going to be ads from them, a wedding ring was the furthest thing from my mind! We went in the other day to confront her about it that she ruined our engagement and honestly I just felt horrible for my boyfriend. She was so rude and unapologetic she could give a care less! She proceeded to blame me because it was addressed to him and tried to come up with the excuse that she came back from vacation and had no notes left for her, she was just doing her job my boyfriend gave her his email and she wrote a note to herself to not send anything!! She is 100% at fault for this. We were completely nice about it...we are understanding people. She laughed at our situation and proceeded to be snudy about the whole thing. We have gone to another Kays in the area and explained to them our situation and they are SO much nicer and welcoming. We will continue to go to that one. Please...do not come here. He should have read the reviews on this place and on HER because clearly mine isnt the only bad review. She ruined his surprise and I feel awful about the whole situation..but Connie could care less and avoided any blame. She thought it was a laughing matter..dont expect anything from her. I cant say enough about how much of a bad experience we have had with her, not Kays..just Connie. And I hope she or someone of importance reads this...dont let her screw up your engament fellas!! Go somewhere else!
