Only open at 11am and close at 5 pm 6 hrs a day a lot of people arent even off work for the day. This use to be are go to store for the family, sadly it has slowly gotten worse over the last few years. 6 hrs a day I guess this is as close to being out of business without being out of business.

We went to Penney’s on Oct 19th, finally decided with the woman working in the jewelry area to order a pair of earrings on line that we were “assured” would be mailed to us by Oct 27th. We paid for the earrings and had a receipt that the register cut off part of the information but the employee said we had still could see the important info. The print on the receipt was so faint in areas (such as the order number to track the order that we had to hold a light up against it to see the number). When the assured arrival date came and went I contacted the online customer service and was told we needed to be more patient and wait till Nov 3rd. I asked then why were we told we would have our order by Oct 27th and the online person never commented on it, she just kept saying we just needed to be patient. So we waited till Nov 3rd and still did not receive our order so we contacted the JCP online customer service again and this time we are told “old we guess by now this means your order was lost in the mail and we will issue a refund that will take 3-5 business days. We went by the Penney’s store to see if maybe the order was sent there and told the woman in the jewelry area our experience, showed her the receipt and she had another woman look and while we waited she wanted to joke around, and show us more expensive jewelry “just for fun” (showed us a $7000 ring saying what a good deal it was). The 2nd woman returned saying our “order wasn’t there, sorry”. That was it. They were nice but there wasn’t any effort to fix their stores or interest in helping us (the earrings were for our daughters birthday). JCPenney’s used to be a great store but boy has it gone DOWN HILL! We will NEVER shop here again.In response to Penney’s reply:To be clear, this isn’t just about the service in the JCPenney’s here. It did start with the half readable receipt we were given at the store when we originally made the order. But first online customer service person we spoke to was completely unhelpful in fact she was very rude and showed so desire to help us. She just repeated told us we needed to be patient. The second online customer service person was polite and apologetic, but again offered no help except trying to order it “again, and Hopefully it won’t get lost the next time”. The lady’s inside the Penney’s in Panama City were polite but didn’t offer any solution to the missing order, it seemed like “we are sorry this happened”. But again offered no solution to our problem. So it isn’t just the store here, it’s also the online customer people.And there will not be a next time, we are DONE with shopping at Penney’s. This is the first time a order was lost BUT this IS NOT the first time we have had BAD service.

No help, the dressing rooms were a disaster and 2 registers open with lines.

Unfortunately I won’t be shopping at JCPenney’s online anymore. Either my items get lost in transit, wrong items come in, no items come in but either way it’s never right. This used to be my favorite place to shop. The employees in store went above and beyond to help fix the problem. They are awesome! It’s with the online portion I have the problem with. They really need to get it together. And to top it all off now the items I had to reorder because of their incompetence has been cancelled! The cherry on top! I will no longer support this store. There are other stores out there who take pride in their customer service and this unfortunately is NOT one of them any longer.

Oh we were very happy,,werent there for 10 min..maybe not even that and we found the most beautiful shoes to go with her dress for homecoming,,one of the employees gave us a surprise coupon,,not only were the beautiful shoes on sale but the coupon worked on them as well,,so im very honored to say they were affordable,,thank you sooo much..

I received excellent service at the customer service counter. The young lady at the register (I don’t remember her name, I’m sorry) was very helpful and the Manager, Kelly went above and beyond to help me with my questions and needs. Good customer service is so hard to find so I have to pay you ladies on the back for being so great! Thank you.

Nice assortment of Petite clothes but only one dressing room open and had to wait to try on clothes. The store opening hours are late at 11am! Not sure if due to lack of help or lack of business!

Ive always loved JCPenney. Every time I used to shop there always walked out with several bags. We were visiting Panama City Beach Florida and we had to go and we saw they had one. Im surprised to say that I walked out empty-handed. I dont know if maybe they just reopened or something like that but there just wasnt anything that caught my eye. The price is seemed a little higher than I remember them being.

Everything that was supposed to be on sale wasnt. They had several different types of things on the same table. So when it said 7 for 35. 2 wasnt on sale because they were a different color! Made absolutely no sense at all!

Nice not big crowds for Black Friday. Even had a fitting room open which is nice these days. Could use better care in the restrooms though. Only reason I gave 3 stars

Wonderful Experience!! I had my hair cut after 8 weeks of quarantine and Samantha was my stylist, Ive never been to JC Pennys Salon and didnt know what to expect. She was very patient and professional which made my impression that much better .Will definitely be back!!!

Actually visited the Sephora inside the store. Really dont go into department stores since COVID but happy they were following the guidelines. Sephora had absolutely nothing that I was looking for - Charlotte Tillsbury, Tom Ford, or Glamglow. It was explained that because they are located in JCPenny they dont carry the stock. Disappointed.

Bought towels, washcloths, and bathroom rugs. Difficult to find associates to help. Not the JCP it used to be.

Maybe its because its Florida but didnt have much of a selection of mens suits.

Our Local Pennys had their grand reopening today after Hurricane Michael hit in October.It is very nice. Great prices and a large variety to choose from. I think its the best place to shop. Employees had everything in control.😊

JC Penney used to be a great store to visit to find good deals on mens clothing both formal and Casual. Unfortunately our local location at the Panama City Mall was damaged during Hurricane Michael and has yet to reopen. I refuse to drive all the way out to Pier Park to visit this store and look forward to it reopening in town.

I love to buy my granddaughters clothes from here. They fit her a lot better than other stores.

No one came to help. Understand that the C19 is out there. People still needs help

I love JCPenney for carrying the t-shirts that I like to wear normally they have a great selection that a great value but on this particular Mission I was trying to find a slow cold masticating juicer. Its not really their fault Ive gone to six different types of stores but no one in this city seems to carry one in their brick-and-mortar store its only available online to order and thats kind of frustrating to spend your whole day on a mission and not find one single store that has what you need bummer... Ill be back for my t-shirts though ;-)

Today I had my first appointment (with Gabby) and she was awesome!!! I have really long hair & my time ran into another appointment. She fit them in and made it happen for all of us. Everyone was super friendly yet professional. And my hair looks amazing. Happy to have finally found a stylist in PC!

Brought my 10 year old in for hair cut.The ladies are very patient with her wiggling around. They complemented her,telling her how beautiful she is. My daughter suffers depression and thinks shes ugly. When she clearly is not! It was exactly what she needed to hear! We will be back!😀

I took my son to the hair salon here and he really hates getting his hair cut. Usually this Id a night mare for me and the hair dresser. But this was the BEST experience he n i have ever had! Joyce did hid hair and did an amazing job. His hair looks great and he listened to hear she was so great!! We will definitely be back to see her!!

I would give the salon staff 5 Stars but with all of the improvements in the store with the addition of Sephora and Appliances I am very disappointed in the condition of the salon. The stylists keep things clean and neat but the physical condition of the store does not reflect their hard work. The customer service is amazing but they deserve a workspace they can be proud of and feel good working in.

Wish they had more of a selection. Especially for 20 somethings. Majority of the items are for older persons. Id say probably 80% of the the store has clothing like this. The prices should be less expensive too. Yes, they have prices marked down but theyre still a tad bit pricey.

Just need to stock Plus size boot but jeans.

Store is nicely set up but the manager getting onto his employees in front of customers is so unprofessional. He needs to know thats not okay.

This place has the best Stylist in this area. I went a week ago and seen Amy and I will never go anywhere esle. She has 25 years experience and I can tell by how passionate and percise she is. She will listen to what you want done and make it happen. If you want a great hair cut, or color. I recommend you to see Amy. It would be a great idea to make an Appt as she is booked all the time. She is at the Pier Park location
