I am retired on a fixed income and came to All Alaskan Auto. Told them I needed a new clutch and tune up, and new belts and hoses. The end result was paying way less than I expected, and everything was done in a timely fashion. This is a family business, that prides itself on quality service at a reasonable rate. They are extremely honest, and I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for quality service. Thank you All Alaskan Auto.

This place has gone above and beyond any other mechanic place in the valley and I have been to quite a few through the years before finding this one. Great customer service and knowledge of the trade. Prices have always been extremely fair. Will continue to come to this place for all my future car needs.

He put in our transmission and didnt let us know that his Computer Calibrator ( for newer cars) wasnt working. We wouldve never known except it cause our transmission to go out in less than a year. Now Im getting another one put in. When I mentioned it to him, he didnt offer to calibrate it later, he didnt offer to pay MAZDA in Anchorage to do it. He didnt care. Im concerned that these happy google reviews are only because they know their vehicle is running ok - for now. But they dont know what corners were cut to make that so.

While they did a good job with my transmission, I wouldnt recommend for general repairs. I took my car in for my rear breaks to be done and was told my rear brakes were fine but needed front brakes. Had those repaired somewhere close to $300. Within 2 months my rear brake drum was so warped that it cost me almost $900 to replace my rear brakes because whoops it turns out I was right and my rear brakes had been bad months earlier. Then within 1 year my new front brakes literally fell apart when switching my summer to winter tires. The tire guy pulled a chunk of metal off my brakes. When I called, they said the brake pads werent under warranty, even though it had been less than 10,000 miles. Of course theyd be happy to replace my front brakes again for almost another $300. Not cool! Turns out the Wasilla Chevy dealership has a lower shop rate, warranties their parts and works and has better hours. So Im now using them instead.

The service was friendly, the repairs were great, the cost was more than reasonable, and their work was guaranteed for 18 months or 18,000 miles, whichever comes first. When my transmission went out, I hated the thought of trying to find a mechanic as weve had problems in the past with other locations in Palmer, but I couldnt be happier with the service this honest shop provided. And when I found out they can handle all my auto repairs, I decided to make them my new repair shop. I will definitely use them in the future. I hear they also have a wiring specialist, so if you need to find any electrical problem, they are the shop for you.

My car started making a noise under the hood and I didnt know if it was the alternator or engine. So googled mechanics in the area and none of them would even consider taking a couple minutes to come out and look under the hood to possibly give me a diagnostic on what it could be. Until I called Alaskan auto and I am so thankful I did. They took the time out of their busy schedule to come out and look at my car and be able to tell me what was wrong. They would of gotten me in same day but the part was in Anchorage. If will be fixed tomorrow and I have now found my new mechanic shop for any future car issues. Best service I have ever had in the valley. Will recommend anyone to them for their automobile needs.

I had my transmission rebuilt in my GMC. Got it back it still had the symptom of shifting hard. He tried telling me it was the motor. I brought it to another transmission shop they checked it it was something he missed not the motor. Having to bring it back again. Idk about this guy Ill repost a new update after getting it back again.

Brought these gentlemen my summer project car. I ended up in a time crunch and needed a tailshaft seal replaced on my chevy t5 in my firebird and could not do it myself. Dropped it off at closing time monday, and it was ready to pick up tuesday afternoon. Not only did they do a solid job dealing with my main issue of resealing the tailshaft, they also handled the resealing of my vehicle speed sensor which was of little concern to me at the time.In addition these guys are extremely fair when it comes to pricing. Overall i would definitely recommend All Alaskan Auto and Transmissions 👍
