I received excellent service every time I have entered The UPS Store on North Palm Canyon Drive. Sometimes I was juggling multiple packages, boxes and they came out from behind the counter to make sure I had what I needed. So easy to purchase office items, shipping materials and use their Amazon Drop Off services. Today I will be there again and I know that the customer Service will be great.
This is a great place to drop off those pesky Amazon returns and also a good spot to pick up supplies. The staff are always helpful and friendly so thank you for all your help!Also, kudos to the person wearing the Slipknot shirt! You can’t see California without Marlon Brando’s eyes, but you can go here for your shipping needs!
Amazon returns made easy but God forbid you have to print something here... $3 fee for a email... AN EMAIL! FedEx has free email so why cant UPS 🤔 I understand the print fee cause that uses supplies but emails are a free electronic paperless service what justifies a $3 fee to send an email.
Terrible and stuck up customer service. The males are nicer, and they should have more males or hire nicer females!!
There was a tracking/lead time mix up on a shipment I sent out and Semba along with the owners went above and beyond to make the situation right. I really appreciated their attention to the issue until it was fully resolved. I understand mix-ups like this happen and the way they handled it was super impressive. I really respect businesses that do the right thing and stay kind & patient throughout the process. Ill definitely be returning for my future shipment needs!
Everything went great until the actual execution of my purchase. I dropped off an important item for UPS next day delivery. Was told it could arrive the next day, and verified that I had arrived prior to pick up. I was assured that it would ship that day. The next day, I track the package, and it had not been received by UPS. I call, and I’m told that I dropped it off too late. I was told that UPS picks up between 3:45 and 4:15. My confirmation email was timed at 3:08. I never could get a direct answer on why my package did not go out other than the person that helped me was part time. The person on the phone could not wait to get me off the phone. Kept talking over me as I tried to give details of the shipment. Obviously they forgot about the order, and my important next day delivery might be delivered tomorrow, on Saturday, or possibly Monday. If I knew this, I could have just sent it Second day for half the price. Also, she told me very quickly that because of COVID nothing is guaranteed before I could even ask for a partial refund for a service I did not receive. From now on I will just drive to the one in Palm Desert.
Samsung said to take a QR code into the store and UPS would package, label, provide the packaging and ship it. When I took it in, the guy printed the label and then said I had to buy a package before UPS would mail it (he said others had claimed the same thing but UPS wouldnt do it--this store had done exactly that with a prior Amazon return). I had an expensive smart watch to return for repairs and he said I should buy a thinly padded mailing envelope--to mail a watch. That is the most stupid statement that could have come out of his mouth. I left and will never go back.
TERRIBLY MANAGED STORE. RE: UPS Store in Palm Springs (Palm Canyon Drive downtown.) This is a very poorly managed store. Staff training is either very poor, or non-existent. Staff equipment--their computers and devices are poorly maintained. Customer traffic management in the store is poorly designed, cramped, & confusing. This store needs a good, organized, detail-oriented manager who really understands the operational parts and elements of maintaining high quality, or even adequate customer service. I will NEVER return to this store. What a shame because it is in downtown Palm Springs and a lot of out of town visitors need a good UPS store--this store is NOT it!
This place will literally overcharge you. Stacie is the manager who made me pack my own order and charged me twice for the privilege of doing it myself. She was rude to me and to every other person in the store that day. She became combative and rude on the phone when I asked about the overcharge. She claimed they voided the first transaction. Thank goodness I had asked for a receipt. They begrudgingly have me a copy of the transaction they said was voided. It was not. When I asked about it she told me I would have to show her my entire bank statement even though I have the receipts from both transactions. Rather than handling the situation in a professional manner, I am now forced to do a charge back via my bank to recover my money. Avoid this location if at all possible. I will drive 30 minutes out of my way to the other location from now on. This review is for the downtown Palm Springs location.
This is my second visit to The UPS Store both times because Amazon uses them to return their items. On my last visit they actually prepared the shipment and send it back this time it was simply a matter of dropping off the items that I already had pre-packaged. The store is very neat clean and the Personnel seems to be very friendly. I think that it is a good place to do business at and perhaps get a lot of other things done besides shipping.
I’d give ZERO STARS but they don’t let you Over priced they tried to charge me $90 to ship something when I had a estimate from DHS location for $29.47. She said oh that’s crazy we are all connected just with different owners. I ask her to adjust the price she told me well maybe you should go to the one in DHS then. As I’m walking out she’s telling her coworker “all that work for nothing just a waist of my time” Well stop trying to overcharge people fix your mistakes and don’t send them to a different store
We have shipped many packages through them. Heather and her crew are amazing.

Update- price changes. Now very reasonable. Owner saved me $ gave me a free box to ship my item. Can send email to store and they will print when u arrive. Great idea
Would sell me international stamps but wasnt able to advise on how many Id need for a regular letter.
Called in, employee was rude at best. I get that they are unable to help with certain things (which is perfectly fine), but you shouldnt be rude working a customer service job.
Very friendly and capable team, doing an excellent job of providing these essential services with appropriate social distancing and sanitation.
Had to print a script, and I couldn’t have found a better place to do it. Heather and the team went out of their way to deliver outstanding customer service, and help me with my printing. Although they do charge for computer usage, the friendly and dependable staff are always there to help.
The attention to detail at this store can not go unmentioned. A friend and I recently needed to ship some antique framed art that we had acquired while on vacation. The team at the ups store could not have done a finer job of wrapping and caring for the pieces. They both arrived in perfect condition. Thank you so much UPS Palm Springs Team!
I use this store as my “office.” Mail packages, get copies, use the notary services, etc. Always five-star friendly, efficient and professional. But I thought Derek went above and beyond recently when he found an unlabeled folder of documents I accidentally left there. Instead of shredding & trashing it like most would have, Derek found my name in it and searched the system for my phone number and called to let me know he had found it. Solved a mystery and saved me the hassle replacing the documents. And gave me piece of mind that my info wasn’t floating around somewhere. 👍🏻
Had some sensitive documents that required notarizing. I appreciated the notories not going through my personal documents and being too nosy....focusing on me, the customer, and not their cell phone or having personal conversations about others, etc. I especially appreciated the DIVERSITY represented (so far) at this establishment. It really makes a difference. Thank You!
Everyone here is super friendly. They take time with you and really understand customer service. I have made this my go to place even to just mail a letter.
Lady couldn’t wait to cut me off to tell me I’m calling the wrong place and wasting her time when I was trying to find my package and pick it up from a UPS location
Went there for a notary - staff/owners were great to work with. Got everything I needed along with some good laughs and restaurant recommendations. Highly recommend!

Let me start by saying I live in PS and have probably given two places Ever a negative review but this I could not ignore, If I could give zero stars I would. I can honestly have Never been so treated more rudely in a store in Palm Springs Before in my life. My mother is literally dying right now in the hospitol and I had the unfortunate experience of walking in at 1:25pm on Saturday the 10th of August to be met with attitude and incompetence that was off the charts. This lady in her 50’s or possibly 60’s Caucasian, somewhat overweight with dark short hair made what should have been a Very simple transaction. First I greet her with s smile, scowl back. I simply ask her how I sent the last item through fedex through them. She sarcastically states “we never have used fed ex” which is an absolute lie. I’m not going to bore you with the rest. I took my cat’s and left and point blank told her “you are rude” unbelievable!
What a joke. I was charged for shopping back an Amazon package. No other ups store charges for that.
We had some rare dishes packed and shipped from here - they arrived extremely well packed and on time. Excellent service.
