I bought a radio from Classic Industries several years ago for $600 that is made by Antique Automobile Radio. It always acted a little funky in that it was hard to get stations but being I used the truck on a limited basis I just lived with it. It now will not play any radio stations at all but auxiliary still works. In calling them to see if they could guide me as to how to fix it, they told me they cant. They suggested I sell it on ebay and by the latest version for $800. If you are looking for a radio that will be trouble free and last like a classic auto radio should, I would suggest you keep looking...
Poor quality reception, way over priced for what you get. Had to send it in for repair in less than 6 months due to cheap Chinese parts.
This vendor is an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE to work with. A total waste of my time and money. Do NOT expect a radio to be shipped to in a timely manner (The 12 week lead time is really laughable) but dont worry about them accepting a prepayment they are quick to take that.
I cannot review on the business and how they do, but customer service wise, horrible. The young brunette (30s) who asked a few people taking by trail (standing in parking lot) to leave, because them taking and kids running around prevented her from working inside a building at 7... Was so rude and wouldnt give her name ( although I would have been embarrassed for being ridiculous too )Customer service can make or break as business.. . Unfortunately, I would never go here or refer anyone due to what I seen today. Unnecessary rudeness!
I have purchased about 7 radios from a dealer that reps them and I have had such bad luck with these radios . l’v had audio problem, tuner problem, auxiliary problems, control problems,it seems like every radio has its own problems Yes the company warranties them it take about 4 weeks to get them back I thought maybe the first models were a bad design when the new up dated models with built in blue tooth came out I thought they were better. NO SUCH LUCK.I’m done buying these radios I have decided to just up date the old radios those l’v Had 3 done with no problem . I’m selling all my antique automotive radios and start replacing them with OG up dated ones. Other people I know have had the same issues as I had with these radios so buyers beware .
I was next to building after my daughters school event at almost 7 pm and lady working came rudely outside to tell us to leave because she is trying to work. My 4 year old walked next to the window...and somehow felt it necessary to tell me to leave a public location
I am impressed with the quality of this build, installs easily & sounds great…thank you AAR
The radio I bought new had a bad circuit board. Rather than send me a new one they made me ship it back and wait for them to repair it. Took weeks. Awful. Use somebody else.
Looks exactly like factory loud as hell easy hook up
Great place
Builds new style radios to fit classic vehicles
Cool place
