Had to get my rear window replaced and the day I scheduled a mobile repair it rained, since I dont have a garage I was asked if I could come there and since it was my off day it was not a problem. I was to be there between 12 and 1 while the techs were at lunch. When I arrived Cody was waiting for me. He got my keys and told me where the waiting room was and that there was water and coffee available and he would be done in about an hour. When he was finished he pulled the vehicle up close to the door so I would not have to walk far since he observed I was using a cane. Thank you Cody for the wonderful service. I will definitely be going back if I need to.πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I have used Safelite in the past so I was going to again when my windshield broke recently. I was told I had to make an appointment at this location because my windshield needed calibration for a feature on my car. When I got there on my day off the second week in a row I tried addressing this they didn’t have the correct part. They checked for it before I left and said it was available, then called me back and hour and a half later telling me the part was damaged and it was the only one they had in stock, and they tried to catch me before I left to let me know. How I was able to get home before they let me know I’d beyond me since I live a good 35 min away from the location.Not to mention, they had me (a woman) confused with a man who had the same car that was going in for a windshield repair that same day. I hope they called him to let him know they didn’t have the part he needed either.Finally upon rescheduling the man at the counter was very rude, you could tell he didn’t want to be there, and scheduled me for the next week even though I said I would have to call once I knew my work schedule. The best part is it turned out I didn’t need a calibration and they could’ve come to my house or job to do they work weeks sooner.The quality of the windshields are cheap and look wonky when they are done, this I knew from the past but they were supposed to be easy to work with so I thought I’d give them another try.Believe it or not there is more to the story. I will never go back.

OMG. Love Safelite Stanley came to my work place 4/12/2021 to repair a chip on my windshield. He was punctual on time actually I think he was even early. Cant thank Stanley I wished I knew his last name so courteous and polite. Not a lot of people like this in our 🌎. If Stanley gets his recognition due. Thats a great employee id keep him around or let him train new hires. Ive managed kids he would be the 1st person Id call to hire.

They kept me informed during the entire process and finished way ahead of time. They even changed over my oil change sticker from my old windshield. My windshield needed replaced. I have never heard of a windshield needed to be calibrated but if thats true then fine. The problem is my vehicle was dropped off on a wednesday night and its now tuesday and still havent got my car back. They stated they are waiting on a service provider to tell them how to calibrate it. There HAS to be another vehicle that has had to have this done before so I dont know what the problem is and also they were supposed to call my wife back on the progress. I just spent 30 minutes on hold to be told that the representative talked to my wife and informed her but they never called her and now my windshield is still at the warehouse almost a week later to be installed. I have NEVER had worse service in my LIFE. Ill never take my vehicle back to this place and I will make sure that anybody that I know if they have to have their windshield replaced to choose a different place. Very unprofessional and ridiculous service

Twice these guys messed up. The first time they cracked the new windshield, then the second time they cracked the new one again and also added scratches to my hood. The person who worked on my car did not mention that he scratched my hood at first until we saw it, luckily we went out and checked before he left. Make sure you check your car before they leave. Still, do not use this awful location, they don’t know what they are doing.

I was referred by State Farm to get my windshield replaced. They scheduled an appointment and told me to drop the car off by 900 am and they would have the car 3-4 hrs.I dropped my car off at 830 and no one called all day. I tried calling their office throughout the day to check on things and could never get anyone on the phone so I had a family member just drive me up there at the end of the day. When I got there I was told they did not have the right part, my car was not fixed and they had my car 9 hrs and never called to say I could come get my car because they did not have the right part.It took them 10 days to order the new part. They called back and said the part was ready and they needed to schedule another appointment because things had to be calibrated…..well the part they originally ordered was a windshield that required calibration but they told me when I went that day to pick my car up after not being fixed my windshield did not need calibration and I just needed a standard windshield. Now they are back to saying I need the calibrated windshield, which is the one the told me they ordered incorrectly in the first place.Yesterday I spoke with James who said he would investigate and call me back which he never did. So I am 12 days past my very broken windshield and still no closer to getting it fixed. I am beyond frustrated!! Monday I call State Farm again to complain and hopefully get a new vendor to fix my windshield.Absolutely the worst service I have ever had and they have the worst customer service ever! Very unprofessional! I absolutely would never recommend this Location.

The location of the Safelite AutoGlass facility in Palm Harbor is conveniently located on the west side of Rt19. I submitted my insurance info online, and Safelite took care of the rest. Additional information to review below. They said they didnt so any work. Metal trim is broke, weather strip is destroyed. This appears to be where most of water came in. Paint is scratched from some tool they were using to pry out trim. They tried to apoxy crack, and trim on other side is bent.

I had a great experience here. Scheduled my appointment for 10 a.m. I arrived a few minutes early and checked in. They got to me right away. Said my windshield replacement and re calibration would take 2- 2 1/2 hours. I stuck around to wait. (I didnt have anything better going on.) They had a Tv, water bottles, and a coffee machine set up. As well as a bathroom right by the door for easier access. The bathroom was very clean.My car was complete in 1 hour and 10 minutes!! πŸ‘πŸ» And the repair man named Tyler even vacuumed my front dash, floor, and seats. He was very personable and friendly, making me feel even better about his services. This wasnt just good service, this was GREAT service! The guy that put my windshield broke my molding. I called the shop to fix it, the guy that they sent came to look at it and said that it will take a week . It has been a month and I havent heard anything. I had to stop at the shop at the shop to see whats going on. The guy said that he is going to send Ford ab e-mail for the parts. My husband brought our van in to be recalibrated after having the windshield replaced. The car battery died upon arrival. They charged his car, waited for him to go and purchase a new battery down the street and then stayed about 10-15 minutes past closing (an hour after our appointment) to perform the recalibration. Stay away if your windshield is connected to any sensors, specially German cars they can’t deal with that. I had to go back and forth 7 times and at the end they could not fix the mess they did. I ended up with both rain and auto light not working and all kind of messages on my screens looks like they don’t have the equipment or the software needed, I spoke to the shop manager James and left multiple messages to the store manager Rob unfortunately they don’t have any knowledge. They even blamed it on the auxiliary battery that it needed change so I changed it and it cost me $92.00.Now I have to go back and file a new claim with my insurance which will be on my record when I renew my policy. I had a horrible experience. One star is too much for them.

I scheduled a 9:30 AM appt 3-4 day’s out with Safelite glass.Not having had good experiences in the past I inquired as to which installation tech was really good, they told me James.I asked that he do the work.James wouldn’t be available until Tuesday morning 3-4 days out.I tipped them for the recommendation and for scheduling me with James and left because they couldn’t β€œsqueeze me in” any sooner!I arrived at 9:15 for my 9:30 appt.Sam the manager verified my appt and said he would go check with James to see when he could start.I told Sam I had a scheduled 9:30 appt and had taken the morning off from work for it.I overheard Sam and James talking, James had just started another job and would be tied up for an hour and a half!He would get to me around 10:45-11:00 if all went well.I could see and hear them.Why was James starting another job 10-15 minutes before my scheduled appt when installations take 90 minutes?I told him I had been there about a week earlier, had scheduled and verified this appt and had paid a tip as a thank you!It made no difference to asst mgr Sam, it seems they make appts and take walk ins regardless!Hmmm...I wonder why I hadn’t been told that last week when I was there!So much for integrity!Would I like to wait for him finish...NOPE!I was late for work and that doesn’t work for me!Sam smiled told me I could either had to wait or not, so I left!My advice, don’t waste your time here, your money and insurance works anywhere!As I wrote this in their parking lot and then researched other higher rated companies My car insurance company called.It seems Sam had called them and misinformed them as to what had occurred and was cancelling my appt.I informed my insurance company as to what had β€œactually” occurred, they were shocked as was Safelite Corporate!Safelite corporate said they would have their operations manager James call me, he never did but their manager did and gave me lame excuses!I went to Dr. Glass and was amazed at their professionalism and great work.My suggestion is to go to Dr. Glass or better yet have them come to you.They have a higher rating than Safelite, 4.7 vs 3.9, they appreciate your business are professional and polite and did my windshield in a little under an hour!It doesn’t surprise me Dr. Glass is rated so highly!

My wife and I had a 830am appointment on Saturday at Safelite in Palm Harbor, to fix a chip in the windshield. We were greeted by Dave he was friendly and professional. He took his time explaining how they were going to pressure test the windshield and explained how it was going to be fixed. Dave also explained about the guarantee on the work that was done on the windshield.While waiting in the waiting room there was another employee, I can’t remember his name but he was also very friendly and professional. We all had a conversation about our dogs, Since we had ours with us. The waiting room & bathroom were very clean. was clean. They also had a complementary coffee station for the customers. The customer service at Safelite was exceptional the staff was very professional and friendly. They made it very comfortable and inviting to be there. I was quite pleased when another technician picked up the job and called me about 10 minutes before arriving and was well within the window of the original appointment. Do not use this location. 1st we had an appointment to replace the windshield in the car. The day before they called and said it was a specialty and would need to be done in shop. We had to schedule the appointment on a different day to take to shop. On the day of the new appointment they quickly inspected the windshield and said they could do it and would call when completed. A few hours later they call and tell us that there was excess glue in the seal and panel and that if they tried to replace it would leak or damage the vehicle. They said we needed to take to a body shop to get glue removed. This seemed very strange that it took a few hours to figure this out and as far as we knew there had never been a replacement of the windshield. We have owned the car for 6 years with never a leak or issue so it could have been replaced before us. We drive the vehicle approximatly 7 miles back home on a Friday. It rained Friday, Saturday and part of Sunday. We did not drive the vehicle and it was parked in driveway. Monday morning there is standing water in the car and signs of leaking into the car. Car is damaged now. Call safelite and they said they didnt do anything and that it was something we did. The car has never had a leak, they spent a few hours with car and then magically it leaks bad and floods from rain. They are saying it is our fault and they will not repair this. So again DO NOT!!! go to this location. We now have a whole new claim with our insurance to get the vehicle repaired. FYI the water ran into do the dash and had water built up on electronics on dash.

Just tried to get new auto insurance and they stated I had a claim in 2017 for $2900. I do not recall submitting a claim. I called Geico and they stated it was because a lawsuit was involved. All I had done was replace my windshield because a rock hit it on US 19. This raises my rates and is on my record for 5 years. Im so upset about this and will be calling when your business is open.

I had an appointment to have my windshield replaced last Tuesday. Arrived early and they actually started before my appointment time - β€œthe good.”10 minutes later they inform me the windshield they received was defective. I had to reschedule and they said they could do the repair the next day. I had other appointments Thur and Fri so rescheduled for Monday. As I was leaving the shop I asked them to make sure they inspected the new windshield before my appointment.Monday comes and after dropping car off I get a call saying the windshield they received was defective again. I asked why they hadn’t inspected it before my appointment. All they kept saying was that it wasn’t their fault. This lack of accountability really upset me. They did not order the glass right away and said they only received it late last night. Well yes it is your fault, especially when this happened once already. You had an entire week to get this right and you did nothing. FAIL!!

I had my windshield replaced by safelite and thought it was a good experience. Boy was I wrong. Even though they said they calibrated it- the rain sensing windshield wipers did not work. Ok.... not too bad - made another appt and dropped it off. I confirmed with the guy behind the desk that they would call me when it was done since my appt was at 3pm. Well here’s where the fun began.No phone call by 530 so I called the number listed on website. I was connected to corporate safelite who said the local office was closed. I waited on hold for 43 minutes and had 2 service reps tell me they we’re contacting the office directly to see if someone was still there. The last rep said maybe the facility may have left the keys in it so I could try to get it after hours. And ..... That was it. I was furious. I got a ride down there with an extra set of keys to get it. I still had corporate safelite in hold on my cell phone. As I walked into the office which was open - I spoke with the guys behind the counter. I showed them my phone where corporate safelite still had me on hold and said they were trying to call the palm harbor facility.Ridiculous!! I asked for the manager - who happened to be one of the guys sitting behind the window. I explained my frustrations with having to come to the facility 2 times for the repair and then not to be called when it was done. The final straw was being on hold with safelight corporate for 57 minutes since I couldn’t call the palm harbor location directly. His response... I’m sorry ma’am . We should have called youSome customer service!. No attempt to make it right, no attempt to try to resolve it better or offer something for my troubles. I will also be contacting my insurance carrier to share this experience and make sure they don’t get charged incorrectly for the second visit which was safelite’s error fault. This experience was one of the worst I have ever encountered with a service facility.

Schedule an appointment to have my 2004 Cadillac windshield replacement with Safelite upon setting an appointment at one of their quote certified shops I was informed that my vinyl top prevented them from installing my windshield they informed me that I need to go to a company over an hour from the location from my house to have my top removed so they could install the windshield that would be like going to a tire shop to get a set of tires and then telling you to go to the mechanic shop down the street to remove the lug nuts a company that installs windshields should have all the tools and knowledge necessary to handle all makes and models or put a disclaimer on their advertisement that they cannot handle luxury sedans they were not willing to help me at all with filing a claim for the top for them to do the job they advertise I urge you to seek help elsewhere much more companies are willing to help my opinion the headache and hassle they put me through for over a week makes them a garbage company

I had an appointment on Monday. Tech shows up starts working then tells me the new glass broke before he installed it. Said they would get a new one and replace my windshield today. New tech shows up and even after pleading to please take his time. He did a bad job. Left the passenger side airbag panel hanging,called Palm Harbor office and they werent apologetic at all. oh, it happens well fix it Monday unless you bring it in. So Im going there tomorrow. Im very unhappy not only with the workmanship but the customer service. Jus bad

Literally 10 out of 10, Jonathan was my technician and he was wonderful. He warrantied by windshield and showed me exactly where the problem was and fixed it within minutes! He was incredibly friendly and made the experience far better than I had imagined!

The technician was quick and honest. Had a little hiccup with a paper on my dash falling into my AC after my windshield was changed, but they promptly fixed the problem and also cleaned my air filter. So, I am thoroughly pleased!!

I had appt for them to come to my house. They canceled last minute. I had to drive to them in an area I dont know. Was lost. Then the guy said 2 hours. Gets worse. Guy tries to say because I was late its going to take longer. I stop him in his tracks. Stated facts of inconvenience. What I was going through and amazingly car was done in an hour. They broke these clips on my Hummer H2 when they installed my windshield the first time. I have multiple vehicles so I didnt notice it for a while, but when I did finally drive my truck, anytime I got to 40mph+ it would make this ridiculously loud whooping sound. Want to listen to music, forget it, want to talk on the phone, forget it, want to just drive in peace, forget it. Then they had to order the parts and have them painted so that took forever of course. The guy came to fix it finally and he didnt have the right stuff so I had to wait another month. Finally another guy came to fix it with the right parts, after I waited nearly 4 months! And all this time the manager never called me once, I had to call him. What a terrible manager! This guy take the cake, I should have done more to contact his superiors but I dont have much time for this sort of thing. If you want your windshield replaced but dont want your vehicle to be broken in the process, go somewhere else!

Incompetence... Cant seem to get anything straight here. Ended up telling them to forget it after they couldnt repair the dime sized chip, then received a faulty replacement windshield which was directed to be OEM, as per the insurance company report. Received several phone calls with no voicemails from them, and customer service is just extremely lacking.Long story short, GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!! This place is a joke.
