They are amazing! There are so many unique items and they keep getting new stuff in! There is something new to discover everytime you go there! I got a couple of really nice antique chairs there. They also do custom woodworking and welding so they can make you some unique and beautiful pieces! They also have much more than just architectural salvage! There is something for everyone there! They are super friendly too!

We were very disappointed. Their website did not reflect accurately what the place looked like when we got there. They had pictures of things on website but they didnt have them and hadnt had them in years. Also it looks like they had an outdoor area of stuff and they did not. Not a very big selection at all. Their website said they open up at noon and they didnt open up till after 1:00 today.

This place is brilliant! They travel all over the world to bring one of a kind, unique pieces back to our little slice of paradise in Palm Harbor. Id say for where they get the pieces, everything is very reasonably priced. The owners Josh and Jess are always very friendly and knowledgeable when we come in. And their wood selection is top notch. Always a fun day picking here.

I found 2 lovely corbels harvested from the lovely Bellview Biltmore here locally in Clearwater. They are going to look quite lovely in our new home which will be built in about 4 months. They are about 48 tall and will fit perfectly in our new, very long, foyer with 12 ceilings. Tampa Bay Salvage priced them perfectly, allowing us to take them home to our new dwellings. I will be returning for they have a marvelous collection of antique doors! The owner was a lovely woman just hanging out watching the shop for it was her husbands birthday and she gifted him with going fishing as she held down the fort. A family owned company will always get my vote!!

This was the first time me going to Tampa Bay Salvage. I drove by there many times this time I decided to stop by, seeing that I had time not for anything in particular. I was approached by the staff that was very knowledgeable and professional in their greeting. I walked out with some Japanese floating balls. I cant wait to bring my husband here. He would love to have one of their Live Edge Custom tables made for me for my corporate office. fabulous stuff there

Tampa Bay Salvage is a growing architectural salvage company, that also carries a selection of imported wares from Indonesia and Mexico. They are currently located in New Port Richey but are moving to a larger more accommodating space in Tarpon Springs in February 2021, and will be holding their Grand Opening there on or around February 15th. They have been in the salvage business for many years, starting in New Jersey. Now, they not only offer salvaged items for sale but will also rework them into one-of-a-kind upcycled creations of the highest quality. If you have the vision, they can do the creation. They accept cash and major credit cards. There is free off street parking available for customers. It is handicapped accessible for those using wheelchairs and walkers.

Tampa Bay Salvage has to be the best place in all of Florida to get antiques. They personally hand pick items from all around the world. I cannot wait to pick up all my items! The handmade grouper caught my eye today too.... might have to go back and get it before someone snatches it up. Thanks Jessica & Josh

I went to Tampa Bay Salvage to have a custom table created for a small space in a condo. Josh and Jessica were fantastic from start to finish. First rate products, first rate work, first rate service. Josh and his team are exceptional. They created a signature piece for our new Center for Student Services at Tampa Catholic High School. The conference room table he created is the focal point of the room and it receives more comments and compliments than anything in the building. Tampa Bay Salvage delivered in every way with a one of kind table at a fair price.

DO NOT buy from Tampa Bay Salvage thru Etsy or over the internet. Jess and Josh are not honest. They will not package your purchase correctly, and if it is damaged in transit it is 100% your problem. No refund, no help sorting it out and just a bunch of headaches. It is very curious that most of the 5 star reviews for Tampa Bay Salvage are reviewers with only 1 review.

We ordered a live edge table from Tampa Bay Salvage and love it. Joshua helped us every step of the way -from picking the wood to selecting the finish. Excellent stock of custom furniture and large single piece wood slabs. Very high quality and durable pieces. Reviewers complaining about the price maybe dont know how much things like this normally cost (the prices here are extremely reasonable) and how long well made pieces will last compared to what is sold at mass market furniture stores.

They made a farm style table and two benches for us out of wood from old high school bleachers. The table base is made out of turnbuckles. It came out amazingly! Such a beautiful table! After we had it for awhile there was a crack in one of the boards and they had no problem picking up the table top and fixing it and returning it to us good as new. I can’t tell you how much I love this table! They have been super helpful and have had great customer service.

Beautiful one of a kind pieces can be found here. And the inventory changes out quickly. For my budget the prices were very high. But that is not to say you will disagree. I loved many of the tables and beautifully made just not something I was able to afford. I will definitely go back and check them out, they custom make furniture from exotic woods. Many unique imported items with so much history.

Ive been dealing with Josh and his business since they opened up in Tarpon Springs. Even though the business has grown and hes usually busy, he still always takes the time to converse about his newest findings and adventures on the road and overseas as a professional picker. He doesnt make anyone do what he couldnt or wouldnt do himself! His custom furniture is top notch and I guarantee you itll outlast anything youll buy that is mass-produced. I still get compliments on the stuff Ive bought from him...even recommended him to a business partner of mine to revamp his bathroom and it turned out amazing! You just never know what kind of cool items hell bring in. Its always a fun time in that warehouse!

We decided to buy from Tampabay Salvage because they have unique and cool items. However, the customer service in my opinion is very unprofessional! My husband and I decided on a 4,600 dollar table. I paid 4,000 right up front with a 600 dollar balance to be paid upon delivery. We were put on the back burner week after week (for 3 months)and when my husband spoke with the woman whom owns the shop about the hold up on delivery he felt she was rude and dismissive. We finally received our table months later and only after calling and saying if we didn’t receive our table we wanted our money back.Maybe, if we hadn’t given so much money up front we would have been treated better...

CH
Review №35

Its okay... but not great. Some pieces are unique (+2) and most all require repair, refinish or refurbishment. There is a fine line between the weathered/aged charm of a piece that is presentable as-is and an item that will cost another $100+ in restoration expenses on top of the sale price out the door. Tampa Salvage does not have pricing to reflect this understanding. The reduction of stars (-3) is for the cost of items being so high for their condition.

I had them build a table, 2 chairs and a bench from reclaimed barn wood. It was absolutely beautiful, but after a short while I had a couple of problems. They came right out and said that apparently some of the seasoned wood was not seasoned and that is what caused some bowing. They took all the pieces and did their magic. They just delivered them today. They actually rebuilt, from different reclaimed oak, every piece. Again the work was exceptional.Josh, Barry, Jessica are all professionals and they work very hard to guarantee that you are happy with your purchase. If anyone is looking for a custom piece, they built the table from my specs, built the bench to match the table and made two chairs from a picture I had given them. I have never had such wonderful service. You must stop by their place and meet them.

I was drawn to this place but always on a schedule to be somewhere else so I couldnt stop. One day I made it a point to visit. It was my lucky day. I saw, to my surprise, a horse cart that threw me back 50 yrs to my hometown, Jaszberent Hungary. Upon entering the building and speaking to the young woman, she immediately walked me outside and told me that they had just come back from Hungary. I knew I had to have this cart. There were several obstacles and I am so thrilled that this wonderful couple worked with me to make sure I was able to acquire this memory filled object from my childhood. I cannot say enough. Wonderful experience with beautiful people. Thank you both so much.

I buy a lot of reclaimed stuff from all over and this place has great prices. It is not high. You can always buy salvage junk that is cheaper from some other place but it is probably not old and the wood is falling apart. Or they fake the imported label and it actually came from Farmer Brown right down the road. The stuff that I have bought from this place that I get tired of or dont have room for anymore; I have had no problem reselling.

Rude owners and incompetence is what you will find here. They tore up the carpet in my office and have zero respect or responsibility. It’s been 4 months and I’m tired of their nonsense. Totally disgusting how they act!She said in text they don’t deliver furniture but my delivery was delayed twice because they were delivering other furniture then she acted like I hadn’t paid for delivery when in fact they wanted cash per Barry who originally set it up...but having rescheduled delivery over 4 times and 8 weeks later I wasn’t there when they finally delivered it and tore up the carpet. Now this morning she has threatened to have two attorney friends of hers contact me if I don’t remove the review before 12. Sorry sweetheart that’s not how true accounts and real life reviews work. But thank you for showing your true colors again in text. No customer service, no responsibility and absolutely awful dealing with these people who think they can ignore and lie and cheat customers!

We over spent there a couple of years ago. We went back today prices didnt improve.Looking for ideas for a barn door. They had old cooler doors that we used last time and were out in there garbage bin. We inquired on the same doors in November and they said $75 we asked on them today and they wanted $375 {they may realize one day why they store them in the garbage bin} and there was old wooden doors in the same garbage bin that the guy who works there said were not much good for anything because they needed to much work. For this garbage bin find they wanted $300.My advise is look around we found a great looking old door at Laymans on 66thAve. Largo for $75 and looks great
