There are simply too many laughable reasons why this company doesnt even deserve one star. The overview would be that they charge way too much for everything. Any order that goes to them they ...increase with all kinds of add-on stuff then keep going back to the insurer to try and get it approved. Taking weeks longer. They wanted a credit card from me and I said great send me a bill I can see... they said no bill available we cant do that. But we need your credit card to start. I told him youre not getting a credit card so if you cant handle that let me know right now so I can get a better company. They relented and said well keep going ...but after my insurance company approved some invoice that I cant see, dont know how much theyre charging and I dont know what theyre asking for approval on ...Now they want me to authenticate three simple items about me in an email they sent over. Now once I verify my 3 simple items about me ...their system doesnt accept it!! I reviewed it with customer service and customer service says everythings correct but miraculously I cant authenticate and therefore I cant order and its been weeks and week still waiting over a month now for a simple CPAP mask. You can make your own mind up but this company ought to be on Saturday night live. ...or 6 oclock news!

First, hey Apria - dont ask me to email you to discuss. Ive had it with the company and wont spend another ounce of energy helping you correct your poorly run business. I was unlucky enough to have used Apria for my CPAP equipment. I have changed insurance companies so now I no longer have to use them. After dealing with an insurance company error, i paid my final balance and was done with Apria for good. Or so I thought. For 3 months I have been getting harassing phone calls, letters, recorded messages, all saying i owe varying amounts of money. The amount is different depending on the day and the person i speak with. DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO AVOID THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE FRAUDSTERS.

Worst customer service I have ever come across. I came twice for an appointment and no one was there. They dont answer the phone or you get a message theyll came back by noon tomorrow. Then they dont.

Im on Medicare and have cluster headaches (suicide headaches) and use oxygen to abort them. Apria rented tanks to me twice, but flat-out refused to rent to me again either because Medicare doesnt reimburse for cluster patients. The first time I paid $188 cash. Now they refuse to supply me with oxygen. To me its life or death. I finally found a small provider who supplies me after signing a document acknowledging that Medicare wont reimburse. Apria could have done that too, but cant be bothered with a simple form. I dont care about the money. My life is worth something. I use around 50 E-tanks a year. I just want to live but neither Medicare nor Apria cares about human life. Burn in hell Apria!

Needed a bed side commode. They wanted to deliver it to the hospital instead of the residence. One week later, still no bed side commode. I contacted the case manager and told him that it still was not delivered. Promptly thereafter I get a phone call from Apria...and theyre first question is wanting to verify the insurance. My impression is that Apria doesnt care about patients. It is obvious that it is all about money. And even though we have the very best insurance, Apria failed to get us the equipment we needed. Will go elsewhere. Apria can go out of business as far as I am concerned.

SO far I have been give 16 different stories on how to get my CPAP equipment, was verified with one address yet when the customer service rep was attempting to change my insurance for the 3rd time in 2 months she only had my old address. How did she confirm who I was when I gave her an address she said was not on file for me? I was told to send in a prescription, prescription was rejected by the insurance company. Called this company again and was told to send a prescription saying medical equipment on it. Called the Dr who said no, this company said they would send them a form to fill out 2 months ago and hey never received it. Called them back with Dr on phone and they said yes they need to send a form over to the Dr to have filled out and faxed back and so this company can start processing my order and I would have my CPAP in 5 to 7 days after receiving the order and I need to send three more forms. Asked to speak to a supervisor and was sent to another customer service rep who told me the processing team would call me and my dr for any additional forms they need. He told processing takes 5 to 7 business days and he could not tell me how long after that i would receive my CPAP. This company received the approval for my machine on 1/27/19 and this conversation took place 4/30/19.

Worst experience ever. If you have a choice you need to find another service for your oxygen needs!!! The customer service is not only horrible, they blame the patient/customer for the malfunction of their equipment. Definitely should whistle blow this company.

We were in desperate need for a new nebulizer and were told by Aprias corporate office that it a would be delivered promptly by the local office in Palm Desert. Our doctor was even involved in the request. The gentleman we talked to at the local Palm Desert office was not empathetic nor well trained. Needless to say, the nebulizer was not delivered and we are still waiting.

This organization is horrible. When you call the local office, you always end up overseas and they cannot help. Very frustrating doing business with Apria. If my insurance didnt force me to use Apria, I would run...fast.
