Walked in and noticed the indoor AC was just right. Most importantly the security camera set up with sensor lights lighting path before you, love it. Easy elevator access along with cart to carry items provided made it very easy without struggling, perfect!. I feel safe and its hassle free Im happy with my choice here.

I have been with Store-n-Lock here in Palm Desert for over 8 years! I have been in between moves & caring for my elderly mother so a nice safe storage facility was very important to me. I can tell you this one is tops! It is clean, safe, air controlled & most of all the managers over the years have been terrific! The current managers are great! Caesar was really on top of keeping me informed when I was on a waitlist for a storage unit. He called several times when units were open until the perfect unit for me became available. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is I’m not moving in for a month and I need to see how the unit meets my expectations.

We had a second-floor 10x8 unit climate-controlled unit. Unit was very spacious, and we had no problems bringing items up to the second floor to pack it as the service elevator was large. For the monthly price we paid, I was happy with the storage unit.

Michelle and Ceasar helped me out tremendously, very much Appreciated. The location and units are both wonderful.

Very nice / newer self storage in Palm Desert. Yes, its a 20 min drive from where I live but this location has smaller indoor units at the lowest price I found in the Coachella Valley. The employees are always friendly and smiling. My only negative comment for this business is about the access hours. It would be nice if I could access my unit later in the evening. Other than that, I would definitely recommend them to anyone who asked.

Working with Ceasar, Michelle and Sylvia was a real pleasure. Explained the rental process and gave us an onsite tour. Very reponsive to our questions. Work with us remotely. Highly recommend

Larry and Mary are the nicest storage employees we have ever met and we have literally rented dozens of storage facilities throughout southern and northern California. They are very friendly, helpful, and polite. We even stopped by a couple of times just to drop of some donuts to show our appreciation. They accommodated my car needs very efficiently and quickly with a very short notice. The storage facility doesnt have the lowest prices, but Mary and Larry make it worth it. We are blessed to know these people.

I am very impressed at how clean and well-maintained this facility is. The elevator works and they provide carts to carry your items from your car to your locker. Security is excellent with several points of secure entry and exit. And most important, the building is air conditioned and I know my items will not melt in the desert heat. The couple who manage the facility are terrific and very helpful and friendly.

Ms. Mary and Mr. Jerry were very friendly, offered me a free lock that was left behind by a previous tenant. Ms. Mary greeted me with a Big, Bright, Beautiful Smile. I did not offer a 5 Star rating due to the following: the Unit Offered is upstairs and for $194 dollars each month property insurance isnt included (insurance is a separate charge).

I have been using storage units for over 20 years in various locations in California and this is by far the best. It is clean, the dollies are always kept well maintained, and the managers Gerry and his wife Mary are so friendly and helpful.They go out of their way to accommodate my needs. If I could give them 6 stars I would.

We were lucky to get two of the last larger storage spots in August. We were in the process of moving to the Palm Desert area and loved the convenient location and the climate controlled storage. I move my stuff in today, and apart from not remembering exactly where the locker was, it was easy PeezyFebruary, 2020Moved my stuff out last week. Since I am a Snowbird, I use a storage locker for nine months out of each year. The folks were super friendly, and very helpful. The store unlock is so clean, so well organized, and well lit.Even though I am in Palm Springs, I’ll bring everything back out to Palm Desert at the end of the spring, the store for next year. I like that place, and the owners, so much. Highly recommended.

Very accommodating. The requested storage unit size was available and we moved some of our excess belongings right in there within two hours. It was painless, thanks to the carts that they have available. The temperature was delightful, a nice contrast to what the temps outside in the desert summer are, so our photo albums and other sensitive items are in a good place.Thanks to Jerry, who checked us in and made the process so easy!

Kinda scary trying to find a safe and maintained storage place in a new town BUT WE DID! From the moment I stepped into the front office I saw and felt - this is a wonderful environment to store our extra stuff. The managers, Jerry and Mary, live there and it’s so clean and seems like a very new structure too. Sylvia took my initial call and set up our account over the phone. We’re all moved in and they gave us a brand new security lock as a “welcome gift”! Thank you Stor-N-Lock team :)

The prices keep going up and up, RIDICULOUS!Called them several times, and they refused to do anything! Also the Christian music is annoying! Miss the previous managers, such a nice couple.

I have had 2 units at Stor-n-Lock for about 3 years. I recently consolidated and now have only one. My experience has been excellent from day one. Mary and Jerry are a pleasure to deal with; personable, kind, caring and so very helpful. They are a great couple and keep everything in tip top shape. Im so happy I chose this business. I stored the majority of a 2-bedroom apartment here 9 years ago and hadnt been back since. I was thrilled to find that everything was in great condition. It was easy to access the unit, and everything was clean and well-maintained. I also had nothing but pleasant encounters every time I spoke with any of the staff over the years. They were incredibly helpful when I moved in. I cant recommend them highly enough. I dont expect to need storage any time soon, but if ever I do, I know where to go.

Highly recommend this place- great customer service, location and clean, well-kept grounds. What I appreciated the most was their understanding of my personal situation. I had to take over a family member’s Large storage unit by myself right after another one of my family members passed away. It was a very stressful, overwhelming time and I missed a payment. They were very understanding, treated me politely about the issue, and didn’t charge me a late fee. Mary, Jerry, and Sylvia are all so friendly and helpful. They ask how you are doing and are genuine. Mary gave me a lock to use so I didn’t have to buy one. I just so appreciate how easy they were to deal with, unlike other places, like Public Storage, that can be so difficult and annoying trying to “sell” you on units but don’t dare do you any favors if you need it. I had my unit for over a year with STOR N LOCK and it was a positive, easy-going experience the entire time.

Ive rented space from Jerry and Mary on several occasions. They are gracious, professional, and always willing to help. The facility is immaculate and secure. I would not consider going anywhere else as long as space was available.

I have been storing my things there since I moved to the Desert in 2007. The place has always been clean, quiet and safe. I love the fact that you can only get to my unit from inside the building and that it is temperature controlled. When I need anything, all I have to do is go there and get what I need, or put something into the unit. Very easy. I was sad when Guy and Trudy retired. I loved them! I always felt welcome and comfortable, and enjoyed dealing with them. They usually went out of their way to be helpful and informative. I dont know too much about the new owners.

I was very happy with my experience at Stor N Lock. Mary and Jerry are warm, friendly and make you feel like an old friend. The property is kept exceptionally clean and well maintained. When I needed help moving out, they directed me to a wonderful moving company. If I have storage needs in the future, this is my first choice!

Stor-N-Lock on Hovley is the best storage I have ever used! Mary and Jerry are wonderful. The halls are always spotless, the bathrooms are immaculate. Im positive my belongings are safe and secure at Stor N Lock. Bottled water and a sweet treat is a nice touch when visiting the office.

This storage property is terrific! Clean, safe and really secure storage units - professionally managed by great on-site mgmt team, the shaffers. They are totally customer friendly, went out of thier way to drill open a broken lock / jammed unit one time & courageously moved my unit for me. So accommodating and in a convenient location in palm desert - next to the major post office. They have great value pricing too!
