Super friendly and helpful staff and if you did inside or outside of the store pick up it’s very convenient and easy to do! I’m a big fan of how Apple lays out their stores. Very clean and inviting! If you’re in the market for some Apple products or want to demo them, this is the perfect spot to do so!

Made an appointment in the store for the following day specifically and I show up and the person who had made my appointment told me the wrong date or put the date in wrong so I show up and the person I talk to is so unhelpful and doesn’t take any responsibility for the appointment being mixed up and doesn’t even attempt to see if there’s any possible way to help me at all. I don’t expect above and beyond customer service but he was honestly just rude and didn’t care at all that it was the 2nd day in a row I’d come in and they sent me away. I honestly don’t understand.

I made an appointment at 10:30 to pick up my phone. Kenneth was extremely rude and very unhelpful. Even though I had an appointment he said because I’m not the authorized user I wouldn’t be able to get the phone. Ok, I says how about we cancel the order and I’ll buy the phone personally. Not an option according to Kenneth. My only option is to try to make an appt later this afternoon to allow him time to check the inventory for the phone. So unimpressed. It was not the level of customer care I have come to expect at Apple.

Horrible customer service at this Palm Desert store! Dealt with two managers, Aaron and Cody who were both was so rude, condescending and absolutely no help at all. These guys need some serious customer training. Although I had an appointment to exchange my lemon of a new iPhone 12 after having service on it 3 times in 3 months, Aaron told me I needed education on how to operate it & did me a favor by getting a tech to speak with me! I stopped him and said no education would help on a phone that continues to overheat and crash. No exchange but they wanted to rebuild it. When I left my phone, I requested to work with a tech to help reload everything and was told “of course, no problem”. When I picked up the rebuilt phone Cody told me next available day to meet with a tech was 4 days later! Hardly any customers were even in the store and employees were standing around!! No offer to replace the screen protector that they tore off, even for my frustration with the phone and their customer service. I picked up my phone and walked out, never to return again. Avoid going to this store!

My first Apple store to visit. The worst employees I’ve ever experienced! Apple Support made my appointment, 75 mile trip 107 degrees only to be told I have no appointment? NOBODY cared finding the problem, NOBODY! Told to step aside, and that’s it! This is how this Apple store treats disabled seniors! Dirty looks as if I was trash coming to their palace, with no reservation! No manager to speak with, NOTHING! 12:15 appointment, could give me a 4:00 appointment rudely! Apple support made the mistake making my appointment at Best Buy. After I’d had enough of this nastiest treatment, Best Buy checked my phone, nothing wrong with it. Apple support sent me to replace my phone with nothing wrong with it? This store is a joke! Apple support is a joke!

45 minutes to wait for someone that could take our money for an item that didn’t require any demonstration or support other than for someone to fetch it. Looking at the reviews on this store there appears to be a customer service problem which I would hope the regional sales manager should be looking into. We gave up and went elsewhere.

When you phone a store for information you get the online person, … I wanted to speak with a customer service representative at the Apple El Paseo Village, he said I couldn’t, I had to speak with him. He was very rude. All I wanted was a price .

I visited the store today and was confronted by a child named Gary who with an attitude told me to pull my mask over my nose fully. I did and as I walked past him I heard him behind my back say “gosh don’t you realize you breath out of your nose.” I was blown away by the lack of unprofessionalism in the comment he made. When I turned around and mentioned to him, you know some people have medical conditions to where they can’t wear masks. He raised his voice telling me that I could just stand outside and he was going to get a supervisor. He stormed off with an attitude throwing his hips and hands, a lady confronts me and he walks off after telling her my comment. Once I explained to her my side she apologized and said she would talk to him. His out of control attitude was unbelievable. I also reported this to Apple online.

I came in because I had a damaged HomePod mini called before hand and told me they had replacement available so I drive 30+ miles to the store only to be told I had to bring it back another day because they didn’t have it in stock mind you that they had plenty of them on the shelves this is the worst store I’ve ever been to no help at all will be taking my services elsewhere I suggest you guys do the same

First off, it would be great if the website and store policies were in sync with each other. Went 2 days ago to look at MacBooks and when I approached the store I was asked if I had an appointment, which I did not. The website clearly says walk-ins and its the first words in the description. The bouncer at the door then mumbled a whole bunch of, blah, blah, blah and said I could make an appointment and come back. Meanwhile the store was pretty much empty and no, I did not want to have my hand held by an employee while I looked at the product. Covid is no longer an excuse for all of this poor customer service. Seems like this location is pissing more people off than helping currently. The worst Apple experience I have ever had, at any location. Completely unfriendly and uninterested in helping me out. Will never return here, and the sad thing is, Im sure the management doesnt even care.

Bought iPhone for my husband to have reliable face time with his doctors. Went for first Set up; they said that they are not doing it because of Covid; we said that we were vaccinated. (About fefteen Associates in and outside of store were doing nothing). We went to two other stores ready to pay for Set up. We were redirected to Apple store where it was bought. After all frustrations, we returned the phone. Steve Jobs would not like how these Associates are not helping elderly people. We buy it of need, not of luxury.Reading reviews, I realized that it is not of Covid, it is almost normal for this store. They better wake up.PS: I bought more than $10K of Apple products for my grandchildren; I am so disapointed with people, not with products.

Horrible costumer service!! Wish I could give 0 stars. I am a first responder and my computer crashed. Worst case scenario and rushed to the Apple store. I have always had a great experience with apple except today at this location. I was in line and told them that I could make an appointment and come at a later time. I explained my situation and the manager just said “we can’t help you and don’t have any availability now or in the near future.” He was so rude and not willing to help. I had the best support and care at iCreative in Palm Desert and they helped me 30 min before they closed. I was so thankful !! Also, called apple and this is not the protocol and filed a complaint.

The first time i went was 1 year ago & i specifically asked for airpods 2 and the guy working there scammed me and gave me generation 1 airpods & I noticed after my friend told me. I never went to confront them bc I was nervous but I regret it. I ended up loosing them so I went back to buy a second pair & this time the worker was really nice and actually did his job.

I have been an Apple only person for many years. One reason is the wonderful service that is available. Then I went to this store and worked with Adrian. He didn’t seem to know what to do. After 2 hours in the store, I said I needed to leave. I wanted to come back the next day to get the issue resolved. They had no open appointments at the Genius Bar! They suggested I walk in. I left and will go to the Pasadena store when I get home. I decided to check the ratings of other customers to see if I just was unlucky. Then I saw many negative reviews. Yes, there were positive ones as well but many unhappy customers. The professionalism of Apple employee has always impressed me. I have marveled at their knowledge and skill. I hope corporate reads the reviews for this store as it is well below par!

Don’t even bother. I’ve been trying to get into this store to repair my iPhone screen and shop for a watch for months. They’ve been closed for months - reopened for a few weeks - and then shut down again for months. No appointments available forever. Without service it’s really not worth buying Apple products. Can’t even shop without an appointment. I’m moving on...

I had to add a star to post but they dont even get a star from me!My husband and I went to the Apple store on El Paseo 3 times last week. He had been having issues with his cell phone. We decided to purchase a new one at that time. It was delivered on Tues night. We tried to program it yesterday without prevail. We arrived at the Apple store before it opened this morning so we wouldnt have to wait too long outside the store for entrance.Well, when we arrived we were told that the store is just taking appts only for repairs and other issues. It would be about 8 days before the earliest appt available. BUT they let everyone in the store that wanted to buy one. We just paid hundreds of dollars for the phone and they wouldnt help us at all?Aaron Hadley is the manager there and he was extremely uncooperative and rude. He told us to go on line which I told him that my computer is acting up and we needed help. I already tried that and the website just dropping me. No help from him - told us again to go on line again. He said that we can call Apple which I tried to do in front of him.... I was right in front of him dialing and repeated the number to him as I was dialing > it was the wrong number. I tried to confirm it with him and he wouldnt even confirm the number. He told us to move out of the way for other customers......We were taking up space in the line! WOW :(We went to AT&T store and Miguel was a tremendous help - it took over an hour but he got the new phone downloaded with all the apps.Until hell freezes over, I will NOT give them our business at all. Most uncooperative and rude.

She went above and beyond in assisting me with the repair of my shattered screen and turning off the ‘Find My IPhone’ feature.Shannon made this experience an enjoyable and efficient one! I walked in today hoping I could get my phone fixed. Since I updated it to the latest version my phone has told me a cellular update failed and I can’t make calls or text at all. I understand that the Apple store is busy and the best option is to make an appointment, but my phone was completely in the dark and I had no way of contacting anyone. I sat at the bar for about an hour and the girl at the counter didn’t say one word to me the entire time. She didn’t ask if I had an appointment, or tell me that she wouldn’t get to me without an appointment. I didn’t want to be rude and interrupt her she was helping people, so I didn’t say anything. It would have been nice if someone would have talked to me and told me how backed up they were. They need to learn some customer service there. How long would it have taken her in between customers to approach me and let me know what was going on. This makes me want to get rid of my Apple phone completely..If you don’t have an appointment and think you might be able to walk in, you are sorely mistaken! Nobody will even act as if you’re there or tell you the wait. Would give 0 if I could.

Daughter got a new I Phone yesterday and got locked out. Sprint store cant help, sends us almost an hour drive to Apple. Told it was a 3 hour wait for assistance, but if she wanted to try on her own, loaned her a computer. In the 15 minutes it took her to do it, i observed no less than four groups of employees of thre or more talking and joking around. Maybe if those 12-15 people helped there wouldnt be a 3 hour backlog. Only reason 2 and not 1 star because the kid gave a computer to do his job.

Ive had a hit or miss experience here. Some of the staff that Ive worked with have been attentive and very knowledgeable about the products they have, and on the flip side Ive had staff that felt as though they would much rather go home then talk to me. If you get a good staff member to help you, youll have a good time here, assuming youve got enough money to afford what they sell. The stuff here is overpriced, and overall Apple represents the epitome style-over-substance. At the same time, their stuff is great for people who dont want to tinker with their tech, and just want to use it in the method that Apple says out of the box with minimal fuss.

High-handed attitude from employees. They told me that Best Buy and Costco are not competition for them. I was just trying to get a price match on some AirPods that I lost a few days after the purchase.(My fault on that) even thou I was willing to buy a second pair from them, they didn’t want to price match any.If you call an apple inc. sales rep. They can price match Costco prices, by sending the link with the better price, and you can also pick them up at the store. ( did the research, but of course I’m NOT buying a second pair with them after all)

I went to this Apple store without any appointment and spoke to the Manager Kenneth and one of his staff. This is one of the best shops in the area. The customer care was really good. I went there to to buy an IPad Pro and Apple pencil, one customer care person came and he helped me to find what I want in few minutes. It only took about ten minutes to complete the shopping.The store is located in a convenient location with parking.

I shattered my screen and my phone was not recently backed up. Ofcourse I wanted a solution to fix it that would keep all my phones info. The so called geniuses at Apple 😂Said it couldnt be done, that I had to buy a new phone and lose all my data on this phone. I want to recognize and commend Aaron for hanging in there with me while we tried to decipher everything. Terrible attitude. I went to store to pick up an iPhone 11max that I had purchased over the phone directly through this store for my GF. My name was on Verizon account as account manager and I told a young associate that greeted me at the door. She had a very dismissive attitude and told me no you are not a manger on this account. I have 9 lines with including 7 iPhone with Verizon for many years on my own account, so I knew that I had to be a manger to get the phone. I was shocked because she had a hard time with the login to the Verizon account on her iPad. I told her that I will call my GF to see if she can help resolve the issue and the greeting employee made no objections. After my GF send me a picture of the account showing me as the manger and login iinformation, I took it to that employee, and she immediately said picture wont do you any good and that she had to confirm me as manger on my iPad. Frustrated, I asked to see her manager and she said manager cannot help me, but I insisted. She started talking to another employee rather than calling for a manger. Another employee, manager or not, said the he was a manger.When I complained about dismissive and uncooperative attitude of that employee, the first thing the manager said was that he did not appreciate my tone of talking to her. I told him that when they are making a BIG mistake, it is their bad tone of talking and attitude escalating the issue. So, he logged in on his iPad, and in 5 seconds, confirmed that I was a manger on the account and got me the phone.It is clear to me that this store needs better training for its employees and mangers. If the employee does not know something or has a customer adamant that he/she is right, take a minute, ask another employee for help, and most importantly do not take a dismissive attitude toward your customer so fast, because when you are mistaken, you look bad.

Pretty annoying store, had an appointment, was there over 10 minutes early and they still couldn’t check me in at my reserved time slot, when I asked if I can just leave my phone there and pick it up after the (battery swap) repair was completed the answer was no!! and I had to reschedule an appointment what was supposed to happen after this job (1 saved it 90 minutes apart since I was told the battery job may take up to one hour).On top of everything they were teaching some paint classes with kids and an instructor with headset/microphone!! Wife and son went in to upgrade his iphone. They fried my SIM card ( master AT&T account holder ) when they upgraded the wrong phone number. After speaking with a manager present, the associate accused my family members of supplying the wrong number. Then the manager attempted to accuse my wife of lying when I called her while she was talking to him. “How can he be calling you if his phones not working?” He says.(I can hear the whole conversation).Her response... he’s calling from the house phone. Yes, we still have a hardwired phone.Now have to drive from my mountain home over an hour to have SIM card replaced.Customer service 101... the customer is always right. Especially when the staff are incompetent and try to make you out to be the idiot.They left the store without a new iPhone.I’ll update this review later today when my new SIM card is installed and hear first hand from the offending manager.Edit..So just got my new SIM card. Mgr walked up like no issues. Phones fixed. 45.3 mile drive. 90 round trip.Oh.. and the wife had to ask for an apology. She basically got a you’re just another of a 100 customers a day so you mean nothing to me apology. I stayed out of it to protect myself and walked outside. Avoid this store and the mgr K*****h.

Bought the 100.00 One to One ticket for help and training and I was never able to book the spot for support, after numerous monthly attempts for the entire year. I was able to join a group, but support was minimal. Genius Bar was the best bet as long as your issue can be resolved in 10 minutes or less. Way too busy, and not enough staff to go around during high season in the desert.

Purchased an iPhone 8 two weeks ago, headphones stopped working and I took the phone and headphones in for them to verify the issue and warranty the headphones. The “Genius” at the “Genius Bar” proceeded to tell me the headphones I had where not the ones I purchased with the phone and because I had used the headphones and there was the standard dirt build up in the headphones that it fell under the Environmental Damage condition and could not be warrantied and the best he could do was offer me $4 off the retail price of new headphones. Avoid this store at all costs if you are trying to warranty a product. They would rather lose customers than let a $40 item be warrantied and keep there current customers. Incredibly disappointed with the customer service and the attitude of the “Genius” which is a complete misnomer considering his knowledge of their products. Save yourself the waste of time and find another Apple Store location where they actually care about their customer base.

The Manager Phil was wonderful to work with. Him and his team are top notch in the customer service arena! Even though they could not help me out immediately with replacing my iphone5 battery, they still were extremely nice and understanding and it was obvious that they were trying their best to help where they could. One point of advice...visit with an apt without one it is a pointless visit.

I was fortunate to be paired with Rick from the Genius Bar when seeking help with my iPhone battery that had just gone bad overnight. After an extremely poor customer service call, I prepared myself for a less than satisfactory experience at the store but was pleasantly surprised. Rick was genuine and invested in helping me solve my problem. He did not follow a script or make me feel rushed. Ultimately, and in a timely manner, Rick was able to replace my phone and get me back on my way. His follow-up when calling the store with a quick question was also excellent. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for better service. Thank you, Rick!

I was seeking information on how to teach a person who has vision issues on how to utilize an iPad. Perhaps, there are classes, a person to sit down and walk through and teach. Utilizing a phone to speak to a person, there is no option except to be routed to a tech support person, not at the store, who only wants my Apple ID so they can get into my iPad and “fix the problem”. I couldn’t get this person to relate how they were going to “fix” the problem. Restore vision? Remotely implant the information into my brain by utilizing my Apple ID? I then attempted to “chat” with Apple just to try and learn the process of setting up an in person teaching, or just answer a question, for the love of God, just answer a question, but no one ever decided to “chat”.If anyone at Apple would like to reach out and improve the quality of life for a person in a wheel chair and with vision problems please feel free to contact.Currently the systems Apple has in place provides only barriers to communication, but very little to enhance the experience.

I went there to find out if they can repair/replace the charging port on my iPhone 6sPlus. Without even looking at it, the rep said they dont repair these and said they recommend anyone with this problem just get a new phone. Now Im not a cheapskate by any measure and would love a new phone, but I simply cant afford another $800 like I paid for this one. Its annoying that they wont fix these even though there are a bunch of other repair shops in the area offering to do just that. I just figured Id go to Apple first because they know the phone the best. Wont make that mistake again. Gonna get an Android.

I’m very upset with the customer service I just experienced . I had come in to pick up my phone from what was suppose to be a repair of my screen . It’s still under waRranty. I was greeted and shortly after I’m presentEd with my same phone by a genius. I’m told the phone was wet and that it was rusted, so I explain that is impossible because my phone is always in one spot and is never exposed to anything except slight moisture from showers, if that is the case my phone had to have a defect . how did water get inside if this is water resistant phone ? But yet I’m told it’s my fault And they don’t know the history, ok I get that but I do . I’m the customer I know, you can’t tell me that there isn’t a flaw in that phone And under normal use this shouldn’t of happened how Dare you treat anybody the way you treated me I was nice and patient with you and you just ignored my plea. I just want my screen fixed . Or a replacement.

After threading my way through a couple of indifferent customer service guys, I was fortunate to find a third person who was extremely helpful. Id lost the duckhead to my charger and simply wanted to replace it. Instead of upselling me something I didnt need, or referring me to a Genius Bar dude who, I suspect, would also have tried to sell me something shiny and useless, I found a cool person who understood my predicament and solved the problem effortlessly. As always, it just depends on whom you talk to. I was lucky this time. Thank you.

360 mile round trip to Apple Store. Needed get a wife’s iPhone screen replaced. Took hours to backup, because she never did it.(no fault on apples part) But the help I received while waiting, on my issues with my phone was absolutely outstanding! Would drive the 360 mile round trip there again!

A visit to this store for any reason is like getting through TSA at LAX or a visit to the ER. Made a Genius appointment to replace my iPhone battery. Arrived just before the appointed time, was checked in and told to wait at a table. after 30 minutes inquired of the status to find my appointment was apparently deleted from their system. After another 15 minutes, finally spoke to a genius who informed me it would take an hour and a half to replace the battery. Not wanting to devote my entire afternoon and go through additional chaos to retrieve my phone, I gave up. Done with Apples poor customer service and accelerated obsolescence!

It took over an hour to speak to a Apple Genius and I told the man what was going on, he stepped away for a moment and then he said it would take 2 hours to fix. I went and had lunch and did some shopping and came back and it was done before the 2 hour mark. Overall great experience. There was a lot of people there but what do you expect when its the closest Apple store for a lot of people in this part of the desert. Its almost like I have a brand new phone. Thank you Apple!!! ~Brittany

Nathan was super helpful. He got me a MacBook Pro that they didn’t have listed on inventory. Dig through the back himself and got me a big savings because of my business account. He’s a huge asset!!!

I got to say the service is just amazing how they take care of you instantly and the way the employees carry themselves is nice as well too so efficient I think everyone should get a raise
