As an interior designer, I work with showrooms and manufacturers often.We recently chose Flooring Innovations for a remodel we were doing in La Quinta because we were impressed with the carpet selection in their showroom. Unfortunately, that was the only positive about our experience of working with them.They forgot to place our custom area rug orders, then placed the order incorrectly, forgetting one of the five rugs. When they finally arrived months later, the driver dropped them off at the residence bound in wire, which they left for us to find wire cutters to open, remove and dispose of the packaging. Then, they placed our carpet order incorrectly and only ordered half the order, so we had to order the rest from a different, newly dyed batch.These delays created frustration and pushed us past our deadline. But the worst part was the lack of customer service, follow-up and follow-through.I repeatedly emailed the store manager to speak with him about the issues we were having and he never even responded to me. This company really seems to be lacking in organization, proper training and good management. My client spent over 30K at their business and it was the worst transaction I have ever dealt with in my years of design work.

Wish I had read the reviews on YELPOrdered two rugs in March. talked to store at least 4 times in the intervening months pending our arrival in the fall to insure readiness. On our arrival and the agreed upon delivery date, the rugs were not ready. “No one told me what to do” one worker said.Delivery delayed 4 days. After calling to be certain two people were coming as furniture needed moving to lay the rugs down, two guys showed up and dragged in the rugs, rolled up and in plastic, and left at once. Called the store and was met with a hail of excuses and finger pointing of allegedly being abusive to the staff.Rules of business. 1). Do what you promise to do. 2). IF you fail, try to fix what is wrong as soon as possible. 3). Fingerpointing and trying to punish the customer is a poor idea. 4). If you think you were abused b y my asking you to do what YOU SAID you would do, I think you need a thesaurus.Totally unsatisfactory interaction, regret ever entering the front door, not to mention paying for being accused of bad behavior

SeanI want to thank you for your help in selecting and advising us on our tile job. Came out beautiful. The installers did an outstanding job. The installer that lead was very professional, explained each step of the process, showed up exactly at the time he committed each day. They all cleaned up at the end of each and every day. The install team were very courteous and answered any question I had. My wife and I couldn’t be more pleased with the job Flooring Innovation did for us. I hope we can get our two offices done in October. If at all possible I would really like the same lead installer. Although showroom was impressive with lots of tile choices, we were so dissatisfied with the quality of work. The worker arrived at job site with no tools. He spoke minimal broken English. We asked him why he was not starting the job. He said no tools. They come. Apparently he was waiting for tools to be delivered by the subcontractor which was over 2 hours later. So much for keeping on schedule. There was minimal supplies & effort used to cover pathway from tile & material debris. We were very disappointed. Its appears that Flooring Inovations does not stand behind the quality of work, worker or clean up.

We would like to thank the staff at Flooring Innovations, Palm Desert, in particular Vice President Jeff Bernstein, for their diligent and conscientious efforts in correcting a major manufacturing problem we had with a particular tile. They went far beyond what was expected and stood behind their reputation by redoing the entire job at their expense with another tile of our choice, and with very minimal cost to us.We would highly recommend them for any of your future flooring projects.

This is one of the most beautiful and comprehensive showrooms I have ever been it. And to top it off, the staff are very knowledgeable in their products and have a fantastic design eye. It is always a pleasure doing business here.

Craig, our salesman was very helpful and informative. He took his time with us, which enabled us to make the appropriate choice for our needs. The showroom is fabulous too.

We worked with David in the show room . He was more than wonderful. Patient, kind and helpfuI. I was a designer for over 30 years. I have never been happier with any crew on any installation. They all were the tops. I would highly recommend Flooring Innovations every time. I would not think of going any where else.

The entire process went smoothly. The installers were friendly and very quick. No complaints whatsoever.

The worst customer they require you to pay for someone to come and measure the job, after I paid $75.00 on my credit card they told me someone will be calling me that afternoon to set up an appointment after 48 hours of waiting for the call I went to the store to cancel the appointment and have the $ 75.00 returned to my credit card to my surprise they told me that they wont return the money to the credit card that they send me a check to arrive in the next 5 business day. To get my money back I file a dispute with the credit card.

Very disappointed in the area rug we purchased two months ago. I called Craig Washington to voice my concern. He told me I shouldt go barefoot on the rug because. Of the oil from my feet. Okay, but we paid over $900 dollars for this rug! Why were we not told before we made the purchase,? Jeff, the vice president wont even return my call.

Salesman Craig is horrible laughs I’m your face when you tell him what you want because he says it’s to expensive . No follow up and just tells you how you won’t be able to afford anything the whole time. Little does he know I spent my 7k elsewhere. Wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone

Great selection of carpets. Talked to a salesperson named James that was very informative and helpful.

It was a very pleasant experience. David and Bill really listened to our needs and price point.
