Very strange experience today. My fiance called about a Jeep and was given a time to come in and check it out. We get there at agreed time and are directed to said vehicle to check it out. We were looking at it for about 5 minutes when the dealers apologize and say it was sold only minutes ago over the phone. We leave and have our son call a few hours later to find out vehicle is still for sale. Not sure what their deal is, but they lost a for sure sale. I work AAA roadside service here in the desert and will be sure to let members know about my experience. I help hundreds of members a month so this dealership really screwed up.

My credit was a little challenged but they explained to me that financing a car in my budget would help me bring my credit score higher and instead of living above my means that I should re-build my credit by buying a vehicle I can afford. My vehicle also wasnt starting one morning and realized the battery was dead. I called Nora and she sent someone out to jump start me so I wont be late to work. They didnt have to do that since the vehicle was purchased as is but I thought that was very kind of them. I purchased a car from them September 3rd 2020. September 4th I had to replace the battery because if a bad start issue. By September 5th it was in the shop because they sold me a car with no radiator fluid. I called the shop and they refused to tow my non driveable car in and only offered to pay half the repairs. I took it to my mechanic for a full inspection st this point. Not only was it $500 to fix the radiator, theres a rack and pinion problem that is $1.2k to fix as well. Well, I was just going to swallow that loss as well. Now the car I paid $7,500 cash out the door is going to cost me a whopping $9,200 to be driveable.But wait, theres more! I went to roll my window up, and guess what? it just fell down in the track and is now stuck in the door. Desert Auto Dealers decided the best plan of action was to tell me to find the part on Ebat and bring it to them to fix free of charge.No thank you. I bought a car trusting I could get a reliable vehicle. You guys got $7.5k cashier check in hand you didnt delay in cashing, my dudes. What did I get? A lemon with almost $2k repair bills ALREADY and who knows what else at this rate. Oh and today is September 15th. Ive now had the car only 12 days and put less than 200 miles on it.Update: another $1k into it.Save your money, folks.

He verified that the parts were still available, and even sent me pictures, so I could see the condition of the parts, because I didnt want to drive 260 miles round trip for nothing. I called back and told them I was on my way, and could they begin removing the parts off the vehicle. And thats what they did. Other than the drive from this far away, which was very worth it, everything was easy, and went exactly as planned. That is kind of unusual these days. I would use Desert Auto Dealer again, and would recommend them to anybody. Those people who expect red carpet service from a wrecking yard, and gave bad reviews should go to the dealer. I havent bought a used car for the past 25 years, I was little hesitant at first since its not one of those big dealerships but I was surprised how friendly the staff was, overall quality of cars and service.

This a great new dealership that sells MINI Coopers as their specialty. They have a high quality, low mileage inventory that is truly impressive. They have a very nice showroom and are really great to do business with. They also sell other great quality used cars that has been very impressive so far. I am very happy with my deal and will look forward to doing business with Avi again in the future.

Great customer service, no pressure and very professional! I would recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to check out their selection. I usually look outside the rust belt for cars but they brought this from Carolinas and was a 1 owner vehicle. Avi was wonderful and stayed late to accommodate us for traveling a little over an hour.

I stopped in to see a car they had advertised. It wasnt yet available. But within a minute I was surrounded by no less than three very pushy salesmen. I have rented several cars over the last few months to narrow down the field Im looking through. One salesman tried pushing a model that I had already rented, and decided wouldnt work for me. He actually argued with me, trying to tell me why I should want it instead of the car I had decided on. I tried to explain why that car wouldnt work for me, only to be interrupted with contradictions. I couldnt get out of there fast enough.

The entire team have always gone above and beyond. They are honest, friendly, and we can always depend on them to give us great service. During our most recent service, my husband was unable to take me to the shop so I could pick up my car for medical reasons. They asked if everything was okay and offered to bring my car to me so I didnt have to ride my bike the short distance to the shop! They are definitely one of the best shops around!

As an out of town buyer I was impressed by Avis willingness to work with my travel schedule and his honesty in keeping his word to not let someone buy it out from under me. He allowed me ample drive and inspection time and followed through on his end of our agreements and as a result I completed this purchase and parted as an extremely happy customer. I expect to do more business with these guys in the future and would be happy to refer my friends in the desert.

Prior to buying a 2011 Subaru Forester from Desert Auto, I responded to a craigslist ad and flew into LA to buy a car. Unfortunately it turned out to be a scam. The flight was a one way ticket and I had a rental car for a day. Avi stayed about 3 hours past closing on a Saturday night to help me get a car to go home. I was very impressed by their flexibility! Unfortunately I had some car trouble about 8 days later. Although Avi didn’t have to help me, he provided $2,000 to help make things right. I am very grateful!!

This is the place to go for great used cars. I drove all the way from Arizona to buy a car they were advertising on the internet. The car was even better than they described and everyone there was great. They went out of their way for me because they knew I was driving so far to get there. They helped me out with a rental car and gave me rides to and from the rental agency. They even texted me to make sure I had a safe drive home. I have never had such a great experience buying a used car. Desert Auto Dealer was worth the ride and is the only place I will ever go for a used car.

Beautiful cars. However, be sure to inspect EVERYTHING and be willing to drop at least another grand reparing whatever you didnt inspect. Dealership did a great job working with me on buying a 2011 BMW 750I. Only issue is always check out the top five issues with whatever vehicle you want to purchase to find out what issue they have and then make sure you ask the dealership if those issues are with this vehicle youre purchasing. BMW 750s are known for consuming oil and this one burns a quart every 300 miles. Did they know about the issue and didnt tell me? Dont know, but I should have done my due diligence to find out such issues before purchasing. Still a great place to buy a vehicle!

They dont deal with bad credit like the post stated, just move on to the next post about a 1100 dollar camry with lifter noise and save the 5 minutes.Plus side: they were very honest and direct in telling me no. They did not waste my time or bring me in to apply for a loan they knew they wouldnt shoulder, and I appreciate that.I went with three stars because I think its a bit silly that they wont finance when i have 24.5 percent down and proof of net income in excess of three times the monthly payment.

Buying a car, new or used, can be a difficult and stressful process. Most auto salespeople I have encountered didnt care about me as a person.Avi kindly made us an appointment on a Sunday so my daughter could check out a couple of cars we had seen on their website. He wasnt in the least bit pushy. My daughter liked one of the cars and snap! an hour later she was driving out of there and on her way to San Diego. The car was fairly and affordably priced and there are only a few minor things wrong with it which is surprising for a 9 year old vehicle. Make sure you get a full inspection of your vehicle prior to purchasing they sold us a car that needs an engine replacement and didn’t inform us about it when we asked about the condition of the car and now they refuse to do anything to help resolve the issue!!!

To make a long story short, I purchased a Nissan Xterra from Desert Auto Dealer as a tertiary vehicle and it turned out to be a total lemon that cost more to repair than I paid for the car. The first time I actually drove the car after bringing it home, the check engine light turned on and it turned out that the car had massive transmission and other issues. Furthermore, I found out that instead of fixing the issue that made the check airbag light turn on, which was a part of our verbal pre-purchase agreement and which he swore hed fix because it was a safety issue, Avi just had it reset.When I went to tell Avi, he told me that because I bought the car as is he didnt have to fix the car, take it back, or do anything for me. If you look past all the glowing five star reviews from people who have mostly only ever reviewed Desert Auto Dealer on Google and on Yelp (under Desert Import Export) there are other reviews that mirror mine. If you decide to buy from these guys, a mobile mechanic (like I hired) is not enough. Make sure to take it to a mechanic and pay for a full diagnostic. It will cost you a few hundred dollars but it may save you from the type of major bills some of their other customers (including myself) had to pay to fix a highly problematic car.
