I stopped going to this store for a while then checked it out and found out the owner was retiring and new owners taking it over .It is now my goto spot for my bird.I didnt know what to expect on my first time boarding my umbrella cockatoo, the did an AMAZING job with her grooming and she seemed completely comfortable being there and upon returning home was perfectly happy.I would recommend them to anyone needing bird supplies or care for your bird while youre vacationing .

I love this place. The one bird will welcome you in. The owner is so friendly and nice! The birds are lovely. I have gone to this place three times now and I have liked ever trip! Those visits were definitely five stars!

Wonderful experience! Jeff retired and Lee and his family took over and are doing an excellent job! He was very kind, welcoming, knowledgeable and helped us with everything we needed! He hand feeds all his babies (by way of the finches and budgies) and I was able to hold a 7 week old lovebird while we were visiting!! We look forward to returning for everything we need in the future!!

I visited Exotic Birds Unlimited earlier today as I was looking for a cockatiel (anyone trying to adopt a bird right now knows that its hard to find anything).The owner, Lee, is really nice and friendly. He knows a lot about these birds and I can tell he cares about all of them. The birds are clearly looked after well, and I can see they get a lot of exercise and time spent socialising.Im glad I went here today, otherwise I wouldnt have found a really nice cockatiel that fit my personality, and Im excited to bring him home next month.Update: Ive visited the shop quite a lot since this review, and it still deserves 5 stars. I finally brought my cockatiel home the other day and hes very happy and healthy. Ill definitely be coming back here whenever he needs his nails trimmed.

Why have a bird shop with the door open on a farmers market day, if you’re just going to act irritated with the people who walk in? Bad attitudes from small businesses in 2020 is dangerous for staying afloat I would think. Anyways they had a few nice birds but you could have a pleasant experience elsewhere.

Food, boarding, trimming, toys.... this place has it all. The BEST part though is the owner has been there for decades, is always there, and knows his stuff on birds. Ive been to other places where the staff dont know much about birds which makes it frustrating. Exotic Birds is the only place I go for my feathered baby!

It was always the best place to get all my Exotic Bird stuff, moved to Kansas so I can no longer just show up on a weekend and spend my time with a great owner who is always helpful and on top of all my bird needs. This was the best place in California to get Toys, Cages, food, and much more.As the owner of an animal sanctuary for birds and other animals, I would very much recommend shopping here.The owner is an amazing man who is more educated then anyone I have came across in over 30 years in my work, I deeply miss working with the services this place had and the knowledge the owner had.Shopping here is the best thing you can do for your birds, online is the second opinion but all I have to ask is why pay for the shipping online? when you can go here for much cheaper and get the same product and see what you get upfront.I would give this place 100 🌟 if I could.

I visited recently for the first time. I believe the gentleman i spoke with was the owner. I expressed that i was a looking to adopt or purchase a large bird for the first time and with that i had many questions. He (the owner) did not treat me like i was an idiot. Although i probably sounded like one. Im doing my research trying to find the best bird for me. The prices he gave where fair and the info was priceless. I can appreciate that and will return when im ready. Thank you Jeff.

Love the vibes in this store. Jeff is the owner and hes an old school pro, which means hes passionate, knowledgeable, and that he loves each one of these birds. I can trust him to watch my feather-baby while Im on vacation and hell clip them too! Simply the best!

I recently visited and purchased a bird from Exotic Birds. My experience was wonderful, I was helped by the Owner of the Store named Jeff. He was able to walk me through all the steps of a first time bird owner. I walked in not knowing much and left feeling excited and prepared to spend many years with my Birdie! Super store, it has lots of birds, cages, toys and various bird foods. It is most certainly a place I will recommend to all bird lovers and those interested in birds!

I take my birds to Jeff for trimming. He knows birds! He also has good feed.

In all opinion I saw birds that were in great condition with a variety of them as well. From the smallest lovebirds and budgies to the largest macaws. I also met a friendly cockatoo.

Always a fun experience. Jeff is always fast and gentle when it comes to grooming. He also always has a nice range of supplies from food and cages to toys.

Small shop, they are very friendly and the only people I trust with my rose-breasted cockatoo. Driving from Beaumont to their shop does not bother me because Im always taken care of.

Nice store with a lot of bird supplies availible. They also have birds on the floor for adoption, with some of them being petting friendly!

I took my bird in for his beek to be trimned. He did a great job and also educated me about my bird and answered all of my questions...he is a very nice owner !

Zero stars from me. This guy used to be in Cathedral City many years ago and he was such a grump....went recently and still a massive unwelcoming douche. Besides he has nothing special in his store, if youre looking to purchase a bird or stuff for your bird(s) look to other places because his pricing is ridiculous. DO NOT recommend.

Jeff is owner and has always been there for us to board our birds and whenever illness arose. Professional, knowledgable and friendly. Ive been a cusTomer for 15 years. So happy to have him . Great service, the one negative review was a disgruntled employee, probably fired, so I didnt give it credence.

This place was very nice & clean. Have a variety of foods, toys, & cages.There was untamed & tamed birds. I came in looking for a cockatiel & they are beautiful. Most likey will come back when Im ready to buy my cockatiel. Every bird I saw at this store looks healthy👍👌 thats why I rated it 5 stars, also ppl who were there have lots of knowledge about birds & answer all your questions!!!
