Oscar came to my rescue on a Sunday afternoon, he was on time and very knowledgeable about my AC unit. I had just had surgery and I cant thank him enough. I will use this company from now on. Reasonable price for above and beyond. Thank you Oscar.

Today is 123 degrees and the ac at work went out yesterday at 2:30. When we came in today it was 90 degrees in the office. Our management company said their vendor couldnt come until Monday afternoon. Two business days was not going to work. I called Palm Desert Air Conditioning and they were here in half an hour and fixed it right away. They saved us from having to close down for two days. They will be my first call next time!! Air Conditioner failed during 120 degree temperature after former AC contractor canceled routine maintenance appointment. Tried calling AC company that installed unit and found out they had gone out of business. Company that assumed services sent a technician that wanted to sell a new compressor and would not honor manufacturers warranty. Palm Desir Air Conditioning and Heating Co. sent Damien Hernandez, that diagnosed and repaired entire system by replacing defective parts and adding freon. This was accomplished in one day and resulted in over $4,000 ins savings. Definitely a 5 star company.

Quick and efficient assessment and bid for furnace/AC replacement. Several options were priced. I went with the American Standard 80% efficient furnace with a paired 5-ton 14 SEER air conditioner. Lin followed up with an on-site visit to finalize details, answer questions and sign the contract. The installers arrived promptly at 8:30 two days later to do the replacement. I was getting ready to go on vacation and my AC went out. I called the company that had installed it but the name had changed. They said I needed to replace the circuit board and it could not be dealt with for 4 more days when they could get parts. Then I called Palm Desert AC, Damien came out and I told him he was a second opinion. He went through everything, did diagnostics, called the technician assistant from the company of the AC and realized it was that the thermostat was not communicating with the AC unit. He fixed a few wires and it was up and running. Saved me from delaying my vacation and saved me lots of MONEY! Damien was the answer to my prayers.Now a month later, Damien came back for a check up and it is still running great. I will now be taking all my business to Palm Desert Air Conditioning and Heating. I have had a contract with Palm Desert Air for several years where they come out twice a year to check my heating and a/c. I couldn’t be more pleased. Recently I came home on a Sunday nite to find my a/c only working minimally. I called them first thing Monday morning and they sent one of their great techs out. I needed a new thermostat. He installed it for me right away and because I have a contract, I got a nice discount as well. Excellent service and all their techs are so knowledgeable, friendly and nice‼️

This company is totally dishonest!! My central air unit stopped working in my mobile home about 9 days ago (around June 22nd., 2017), and a friend called Palm Desert Air to send out a service man. Since I was really broke at the time, my friend offered to put it on his credit card (the service call was $90). The service man checked out the unit and told me the compressor was totally shot among other things, and that I needed a whole new unit to the tune of 8K+, and possibly even more. I panicked because I am elderly, living on Social Security, couldnt afford a bill like that, my house was 100 degrees, and I was really suffering. On June 27th., 2017 after suffering for 6 days in the heat, I decided to get a second opinion. Another service man from another company looked at the unit, said the compressor was absolutely fine, the Freon levels were fine, and the only thing it needed was to have the condenser coil hosed off which was really dirty from the heavy winds/blow sand where I live (I have all this in writing). He washed the condenser coil off, which took all of 5 minutes, and the unit has been working fine ever since. For this reason, I told my friend who paid for the 1st. service call to dispute the charge, he called Palm Desert Air, and told me, they pretty much said Im burnt. And I am burnt also, because I am going to have to pay for their dishonest service call, as well as the other companys service call (which was $70). The second service man didnt charge me anything for hosing off the condenser coil.M Casserd
