Ira and his team installed an auto start in my sons car last year. Suddenly, in this cold weather, it stopped working. Most places would have said, Too bad, buddy. Cant help. or overcharged for a repair. Action Auto took the vehicle in immediately, diagnosed the issue (a fuse) and made the repair. I was at least expecting to pay a service fee, but Ira didnt charge me anything. Most shops would have found a way to run up the bill, but clearly Action Auto Services is committed to integrity, which is in short supply these days. If you are looking for a shop that does great work and operates with honor and integrity, this is the place. Big thank you to Ira and his tech team:)!

I went there for coolant flush because the dealer told me doing it. They checked my car and told me that it was not necessary. I was impressed by their honesty.

Had remote start added my car. They were professional and upfront. Quick installation and were accommodating.

Ira is a really nice, friendly, laid back and polite guy, but I cannot recommend this shop and don’t think I will go back to them after the last project I had this shop work on.I had taken my car to have some electrical aftermarket work done before and this place did a great job with it so naturally I trusted them and came back when I had more work I wanted done to my car, after that project I can’t say that I would recommend this shop because of the way the project was handled and the lack of what I felt would have been proper resolution. So the first project was an aftermarket imported light kit that tied into the headlights and turn signals; as I said they did a great job with that. I came back to this shop with rear end lighting upgrades that included 2 kits that tied into power, ground and brake lights. Now Ira is awesome in that he will sit down with you and talk about the project with you and what you want and how to in theory make it all work, which is great! The reasons I cannot recommend this shop anymore are because there was part of the project that I was told would be done but wasn’t and my new car was returned to me in an unsafe condition that left it not drivable at night and put my car into limp mode, which is the mode a car goes in usually when it detects a major issue and my entire exterior lighting system was malfunctioning. This issue that left my car un-drivable could have been discovered with a simple test drive or brake check as I found the issue by hitting my brakes in my driveway with someone looking at the lights. I removed one of my tail lights to see what was going on and found a wiring nightmare that looked like a mess (picture included)I had to undo all the work I just paid for myself and put it all back to stock and disconnect the kits then take my car to another independent shop that charged me just $3 more than action auto sports to diagnose what was wrong, remove all the work I just paid for as none it was salvageable or wired properly and install the kits correctly, cleanly and safely as well as offer me a free loaner car while they worked on mine. I called Ira and told him what happened and when I asked for a refund as I paid for nothing essentially all that was offered was a free oil change for my car only. I do my own oil changes so I couldn’t even give the free oil change to a friend in need. I called Ira back and was told that a refund was not a possibility and that I could bring the car back to action auto sports and it could be worked on again and made right and that he would do what we agreed upon but wasn’t done. I insisted on a refund as I felt that was what was right and honestly the damage was done in my mind; I didn’t want this shop to put me out of my car for another day and didn’t trust them to keep working on it.So in the end: my car was returned to me in worse condition than I gave it to the shop in, I paid hundreds of dollars for this shop to hack up my cars wiring and not do what they said they would, and then had to undo all the work myself just to I could drive my car safely to another shop and have it done right. And when I called for a refund I was politely and respectfully (emphasis on that, Ira was polite, respectful and friendly through the entire ordeal) told my options were: 1) let us keep trying till it works, 2) I’ll give you a free oil change or work valued at the cost of a free oil change, 3) I can just eat the cost and move on with life. I had to take option 3 and write this review as I told Ira, this whole deal just “left a bad taste in my mouth”. I feel it wasn’t handled correctly from a logical standpoint and I paid the price for it in the end.

I called in with a problem, they asked if it was drivable, and they told me to bring it right in. Fixed the problem and had my car back in 2 days! The owner even came in and finished the work so I could have my car back by Monday. This guy is easy going and honest. I will take my car there again

I changed my mind and added a service at noon, they ordered, retrieved, and installed it same day I was amazed.Great people, and when I swapped my wheels at discount tire they said they did great work on the rotors. Highly recommended.

On March 9th went to this repair shop due to check engine light on my BMW. After diagnostic mechanic conclude that I need new battery. I agreed. They charged 1,5h to replace the battery, which is too much. But this is not the end of the story. After 35 miles of driving Ive got check engine light back on.Monkey Business!!!

Great place to go! I needed my drive belts changed on my 350z and since someone stole my tools they were suggesting me to go here! They are great! The belts squeek but very little, Im guessing still stretching or something simple, other then that great service, they are honest, trustworthy, quick, they not only fix the problem but make sure youre driving safe checking other stuff out and telling you what is wrong but they explain why on almost everything. I recommend to everyone. Will be going back with my work truck, friends cars, etc.

I came in for a brake flush after the Toyota dealer said it was called for. After setting an appointment, the service was done in under an hour and at less than half the price of the dealer. Brakes worked great afterwards and I was amazed by how much more quickly my car was stopping. I now have a new favorite place to go for auto service!
