Our salesperson Chris was the nicest and most helpful person.He explained how everything worked and he gave us the best deal for my new car.I am sadly super disappointed in the dealerships service part.I took my car in for a check up the day after I got the car.I got the car back with 10+ scratches.I went and took the car back and asked if they would be able to fix that.Mistakes happen but the irritating part was that they kept telling me to come next week and next week and next week.I’ve been there 3 times now and my car is still not fixed.They told me now that the car has to go to a body shop and that I still have to bring my car in to them again(4th time) and I live 40min away .They said it will take 2-4 business days.Since I have school and work I need a car on a daily basis.I asked if I would get a rental car they said no..I am so furious and nervous to even bring my car back because I don’t want them to mess up my car even more.Chris our salesperson was the only one who even apologized for what has happened and i really appreciated that.
I purchased my 2021 Kia Niro from McGrath Arlington Kia back in July. My experience with sales and financing was fine and they were helpful. But after driving it for a couple days I had two tires go flat at the same time. I got it towed the the dealership and they were able to patch them. But when they serviced it they failed to get my tires pressure right AND I was able to see that the tires were overfilled by over 10psi. this means that all four tires were overfilled by over 10psi. Even after they patched the tires they left a ten psi different between the two sides.(see screen shot). There solution was a $25 gift card….. this was my first new car purchase and I was disappointed to see that my new car was not handle in the best way by the very dealership I bought it from.

We had a 10:30 appointment and Cliff the salesman, Chris the sales manager and Cody the finance manager had us in and out in 3 hours. We got the exact car we wanted. Everyone was professional and extremely knowledgeable. They had plenty of cars on the lot. We left completely satisfied and if you are in the market i highly recommend stopping in and seeing these guys!
The worst experience I ever had while buying a car. I bought Kia Forte 2020, it was damaged and they pretty much ignore my messages and calls to repair. I went to see a specific car, made an appointment for a specific day and time. When I showed up the car was sold. They offered me older car for almost the same $$🤔🧐 I will never ever recommend this dealer to anyone! If I could give negative stars I would.

I bought my Kia Sportage eight days ago and today it wouldnt start. The first three times I called the dealer I was told I was being transferred and instead was sent to a un-named voicemail. On the fourth time I finally got a hold of service and was told that they didnt provide towing services and even if I did get my vehicle to the dealership, they couldnt provide a time to work on it as they were booked for the rest of the week (its Tuesday). I can have the car towed there and they might be able to get to it, in the meantime they have no loaners.So, had the car less than a week and already the dealer expects me to be out of a car for a week and pay for a rental out of my own pocket. I said no thanks, hung up and called back asking for a manager, to which I was told they were all in a meeting. That was three hours ago, still no word. In the meantime Ive had the car towed to my local mechanic, got an estimate and will get the car back tomorrow.Final word of warning, the salesperson said the no loaner sign was just for show, it is most definitely not for show.

I was incredibly pleased with the salesman that I worked with during my purchase of a new 2022 Carnival. Cliffe was personable and communicated with both my husband and I. Due to the timing of our purchase, we had to wait until the following day to pick up the car. Unfortunately this process was much less smooth. My husband had to wait 2 1/2 hours to pick up a car that was supposed to be ready prior to his arrival. Upon inspection, the pinstriping on the car had been installed wrong, and the windows were completely streaky despite being cleaned. While I understand wanting to expedite the delivery of a car, it should not be done at the sacrifice of quality. If the car was not ready the service manager should have communicated that earlier, instead of my husband driving an hour to pick up a vehicle that wasnt ready.

Always been a Loyal costumer been going to them for years for service but today seemed to be the last time I’m giving them my business! Oil change took almost 3 hours!!!! Told em please don’t wash my car then still washed. Lastly I was given attitude by the service advisor. If this is how they treat their costumers then I feel sorry for them.

I would bw direct to the right person but, would have to leave a message. I wish there was better service when it came to that part. Conor was obviously new to his position. I would say he would just need more experience with his new role and the cars in the lot. However he was a very sweet person. It was a great experience for someone who dislikes car shopping.

Horrible. Within the first 5-10 minutes of sitting down I was told the Kia Telluride sells for $5k over MSRP. I said that’s silly and ridiculous. No negotiation whatsoever. You think the salesmen would want to pay that? I walked out. I don’t care if there’s a shortage or it’s a popular vehicle. So dumb.

Bought my first car from here about 2 weeks ago. I had Cliff. Cool, nice guy just was trying to BS me too much probably since I was young and a first time buyer. Respected the haggling but he would not allow me to take the breakdown of the price home to show my lending agent. a little peculiar, but whatever we agreed on a price after hours of waiting and then I was promised a full tank of gas upon picking up my new car. The car was supposed to be ready at 5-530, I didnt drive off until a little before 7 and I was being told my car was being detailed and filled up.They didnt even fill the car from when I took it out on a test drive and they cleaned it MINIMALLY. I took it to the car wash myself and ended up doing the real dirty work myself. Sales associate was cool, the service was mid. Cliff reached out to me which I respect, but when I texted him back my issues I still have yet to get a response or that full tank of gas I was promised.
Best salesman award has to go to Danny. Im so used to pushy/sleazy salesman that I hate buying cars, but this experience has changed my whole perception, I must have just been picking the wrong places to buy from. Danny was so straightforward and honest, asked me a lot of questions to help me narrow down what I wanted, and I couldnt be happier with my choice. For what it’s worth, the staff is cordial, but go to another dealership. I was looking for a new Carnival, and was about to talk numbers. Before we even got down to the brass tacks, Cliff disclosed to me that McGrath requires the purchase of a $2500 service fee for paint protection, glass etching, etc that is non negotiable and in addition to the final sales price . The “sales manager” confirmed it as well. So just know if you are going to buy a Stinger, Carnival, and some other the other higher end models, you are required to pay an additional $2500 on top of the price at McGrath and no where else.

Also, George in Financing was accommodating since my trade-in registration was expiring so the dealership covered the cost of new plates while I wait for DMVs to re-open to transfer my vanity. UPDATE: Its officially been 9 weeks since I visited the service dept, and 10 days since I posted my initial review below. There has been ZERO follow up. How can you forget about your customers? I am beyond disappointed in McGrath and their lack of professionalism. I thought that since I purchased my car here, the service dept would be interested in retaining sales customers. Sadly, this is not the case. I would not recommend McGrath to anyone. I will be taking my Sportage to a different Kia dealer.I took in my new Kia Sportage to be serviced at McGrath on 8/5 (over 7 weeks ago) and I am still waiting to hear back on the status of the part they were supposed to order. I initially went in for 2 electrical issues: thermometer on dash was off by 15+ degrees and passenger side mirror would not fold in/out on hot, sunny days. These issues happened frequently, but not daily. When I scheduled the appointment over the phone, I mentioned that I had photos and videos depicting the issue just in case the problem didnt occur at the dealer. I asked if they wanted me to email the evidence ahead of my appointment, but was told it wasnt necessary. When I arrived for my appointment, I mentioned to the service dept that I had proof of the issue, but they didnt seem interested in seeing it. They kept my car the whole day (no rentals available either) and told me they needed to contact KIA to get approval before ordering the part needed to fix the thermometer. They also said they couldnt find anything wrong with my mirror and that it could only be fixed if the problem occured while being serviced at the dealer. I mentioned again that I had photos and videos of the issue, and that I had offered multiple times to share that with McGrath so that the mirror could get fixed. The service manager gave me his cell phone number so that I could text him the video evidence. I sent him a message right after our phone call that evening and he never responded to it. Since then, Ive heard nothing about the status of my last visit. The communication at McGraths service department is poor. Im thankful that my issue is not more serious because Ive been waiting for nearly 2 months to have it resolved. The only reason this review is not 1-star is because Gus from the sales dept was very pleasant and took me on a test drive while I sat in the small, overcrowded waiting area of the service dept. I am very disappointed with the lack of communication at this dealer and would not recommend it to other KIA customers.

My wife was out comparing different models of cars as we want to upgrade our current vehicle. I was busy at my home but my wife and I know that the customer service at the McGrath Honda in Elgin is excellent... so this McGrath dealership will also treat her well. Boy were we wrong. Unfortunately, the salesman Connor really couldnt be bothered to actually get the real figures on the vehicle we wanted. He had excuse after excuse. Even looked at our car for a trade-in value and provided a we were thinking about $Xx... which he was adamant could not be put in writing or else we would use it to negotiate a higher trade in value with another dealership. Is this how this McGrath dealership has always done business? Apparently Connor told my wife that there are actually 4 McGrath brothers, so that the Elgin dealership might not be part of the franchise... which, to be honest, makes me feel good inside so that we can go get our Kia information from a competitor. Word to the wise... stay away from this dealership if you are looking for good customer service.
Zero if I could salesman didnt show me breakdown of car price until I requested it ..they add 2000 for a 1 year MANDATORY protection plan hidden in price ..financing guy didnt want to take no for an answer and continually tried selling extra protection policies dont go here and its free gas for a year or low financing rate not both..the question to your answer is bold print or fine print ?🤔..probably very fine print

I had an appointment to see a Kia Rio. I submitted all of my paperwork for financing ahead of time so clearly I was serious about buying a car. My first issue was at the time of the test drive, the car was dirty including bird poop on the window and the interior was dirty. Chris knew I wanted to test drive the car but didn’t even have it cleaned. I told Chris I was very interested and wanted to see what the pricing would be. I also told him I wanted to see the figures and think about them before making a decision. I told him if the numbers were right I would be buying the car from him. Chris refused to tell me the price of the car, the APR for the financing, or show me any figures at all in writing. We left and two days later bought a Kia Rio from Napleton Kia where we were treated honestly and with respect. I guess McGrath doesn’t really care about selling cars or treating the customer right.
