Easy to shop since you can find the aisle and bay number if you check the app. I love their garden, the husband likes all the aisles that helps him with our home improvement projects and the kiddo loves the vehicle carts & their lollipops!We somehow favor the Palatine location the most. We got our custom blinds installed by them, it’s the best.

Al, supervisor in the pro department, has saved my tail on many circumstances. Great resource. Huge level of knowledge on many projects. Truly the reason I don’t even bother to price shop at competition. All of the guys at the pro desk are AWESOME in his absence.

Mike in the garden department was very patient and knowledgeable with all my questions. I am new to gardening and just started a small 10’ spot in my yard. He was able to recommend some plants I didnt know about and knew all about the soil and insect sprays. Thanks!

Typical big box store. Finding someone to help you is always a challenge. I do like the service of receiving a copy of the receipt via email. You cant get that from Menards.

Sergio in paint was so knowledgeable, answered every question I had and helped me feel comfortable with the Behr Eggshell finish I picked for the room, definitely the place to go for paint!

I always liked Home Depot. The personal are friendly and helpful. However, although the employees in the paint department really try hard to accommodate the customers, the Home Depot (in several stores) color match computers are completely awful. This is 2021 technology? Please replace them with something better!

One of the best retail experience in a long time.Purchased patio furniture very knowledgeable about all the products. Went to buy a plunger the 1st time & saw 💐 flowers a big variety, the assistance inside the store very helpful, but the assistance in the garden needs improvement, they didnt offer or asked if I needed help. Second time I went to buy some pots for my flowers & I went to a smaller store they didnt have any so I knew Home Depot does & they did! A variety of sizes & materials + colors. But I have never bought pots for plants before, again no assistance was provided only for checkout, yet again I shouldnt need to ask for help.

Went here to get copies of keys. It went quickly & theyre more sturdy keys than the machines at Wal-Mart.

I have to say Im always hesitant of Home Depot because of their political donations. But when Im there, I always find what I need and have always had great experiences with the people who work there. This young man Ricardo in garden was super helpful and kind to my kids.

I love the Home Depot store, nowadays in this new least of contact possible society, finding the information online where it tells you the exact location of the items you looking for and finding it at the store with so much ease is amazing, and by the way if you have any questions the employees are so knowledgeable and willing to help that it is by far the best service one can expect and it is delivered. The Home Depot’s returning service is very bad. They return policy is not good. I purchased a Ryobi lawn mover with cordless. It errored. It didn’t run. I bring them to return they didn’t received. They didn’t help me. I don’t recommend Home Depot. And I will not stop to there more.

Home Depot is always a good covid free environment. They clean the store well and provide necessities for their customers well. Parking is always available and the attendants are always helpful and friendly. Easy checkout without lines typically and if you know what you want, you can get in and out fast. Much needed in this covid world right now.

I am sick of coming to these stores looking for any kind of proper mask, and even when shown “in stock”, they are not on the shelves. They are still giving them ALL directly to first responders. Im immunocompromised and have severe allergies which I need decent masks for. Why don’t I deserve protection? There has been an entire YEAR to restock and increase production, I believe at this point, withholding decent protective gear from the public is negligent and harmful and likely leading to many deaths. Selling all these masks which are not even rated for medical use should only have ever been a temporary solution during a shortage. They are not medical rated. Please consider having more compassion for your community and allow us to buy proper protection.

This store doesn’t offer help to their customers. Especially with lifting material. I was shocked. I’ve gone to this particular store several times and my experience is always terrible.If you’re looking for a place to wander around this is your place. If you’re looking specifics like quarter round or trim pieces - you’re better off looking on YouTube.

Home depot provides what I need as a diy enthusiast. I would appreciate if the employees had a better idea of what they carry though. At times I am sent to multiple isles only to fine by looking online that what I am looking for is not in stock.

Stay away from Brandon in the tool rental. He got some temper issues and will take his bad day out on you. Its a shame he is customer facing representing the brand, because most of other folks are genuinely helpful and nice.

Kind of unprofessional the item amount they had online for that store location turned out to be completely inaccurate so after I bought said item and was waiting to pick it up I got an email saying that theyd successfully cancelled my order which made it seem like I canceled it, so I had to call them and find out that they had goofed on the the number in stock and they didnt actually have any at the Randhurst store contrary to their own website and that they had no idea when they were going to get more... Guess Im heading to Lowes.

The employees at this location are very helpful. I needed a piece of MDF plywood cut into 8 pieces, and they did it for me for free.Saved me a lot of timeI was told they do straight cuts on any of the wood they sell for free.

This store is always dead when I stop by in the early evening. Its sometimes difficult to find things. Other HD stores seem better layed-out with seasonal items more prominently displayed.

This Home Depot is great. Always friendly staff and attentive to your needs especially those in the appliances section. Store layout is good meaning we can always find what we are looking for every time we go in. Plenty of parking even in busy weekend days.

One of my favorite places and love that they have really stepped up in the customer service as you shop. Kudos to the staff for their effort to make sure you are finding what you need.

My stars are due to COVID lack of awareness. I would have listed 0 stars.Customers are walking around not wearing mask properly and staff is not addressing this. When I checked out only one person was working. He had his mask under his nose and the protection screen was moved to the side! We had nothing between us and there was no social distancing! I mentioned the screen and he just looked at me like he had no idea what I was saying. Please be aware when shopping here! I have gone here for years but now I will not return till the staff members are trained and use common sense. This is a hot spot and we are a RED ZONE state for COVID. Start caring and being AWARE!

I went to buy 3/8 tubing for reverse osmosis. The plumbing guy says they dont carry that tubing. Walked over by the hosing section and found it. Thanks for nothing.

Muj was one of the rudest retail employee Ive encountered in general. As I began to explain what I was looking for as an alternative in the store-- because the specific item on their online website was no longer available-- he interrupts with No. (then silence, a long silence). I had to ask him to explain and he said Its an online item only. I KNEW it would not be in the store and was trying to explain my situation so he could give me options. Needless to say he was useless; he wasnt sure of the compatibilities of the products in question but argued his idea was better. But how is your idea better if you have no knowledge of the products? His argument was very illogical. He could tell we werent impressed so he walked away with you can do it your way, but Im just saying. Wow.

I wanted to purchase a ceiling fan. In fact, I knew exactly which product but had one simple question. There were many employees walking around and socializing with one another. However, not any one of them greeted me or offered to help. When I looked at them, they just turned away, sped through the aisles, and disappeared into the back-room. Of course, I walked out without saying anything and spent my money elsewhere.

Customer Service was terrible.. Associate named Connie was extremely rude and unforgiving. You would think Home Depot would be more understanding when trying to use our store credit durning a Pandemic especially with my wife being unable to make it in bc of her pregnancy. Wouldn’t let me use it despite having my wife’s DL & showing her our joint Consumer credit card account.. great customer service Connie!

They carry almost everything I need. They hold free workshops for all ages. My kids especially love the the workshops they hold on the first Saturday of every month. Would be nice if they carried replacement in-ground sprinkler system parts.

Do not buy anything from home depot until you check every other option.1. Bad customer Service from Home Depot. I talked with customer service for over an hour. Problem is not solved. I need to wait for their call and I cannot call to talk to same person. Also, you will get representatives who have limited power. Like me customers have to fight to talk to someone who has actual power to change or fix the problem. Unnecessary conversation is needed to get that far.2. I bought awning. Customer have to find own constructor to install. Home Depot did not have installation service or contractor. (Even if they do have installation service check their contractor before you purchase)3. Product came with the hole which cannot be seen until it is installed and retracted. They asked me to uninstall whole product to return (which I pay constructor to install. And I have to pay again if I have to uninstall and install new one.) they will not exchange parts. It Hass to be whole (If I end up order again to the place, I will update how long it takes)4. Home Depot asked me to contact vendor myself to see if vender can fix. I had to talk (mad!) to make Home Depot to contact vender for solution. I am still waiting for their call. If I can I want to give zero start to Home Depot (not to the product that I bought). Please know who you are working with! I will update review as I get more information.Updates -> when they promised to call, they did not call. They sent me an email that they will send self fix kit or I have to contact my contractor to take awning off of the wall and return whole. And if I want to buy new they will give 10% off which is so much less than what I paid to my contractor.When I bought the product (awning), I received an email for review. I wrote like above. Today they sent me an email that they reject my review which shows me that they choose which review to post.Will you trust their reviews when they choose what to post and what not to post? I don’t.

I love shopping at homedepot. Since covid-19 lockdown they have been very cool and helpful in these difficult times. No pressure. Just easy going shopping. I used to patronize one of the other chain home improvement stores but they became so obsessed with social distancing I wasnt allowed to bring my teenage daughters into the store with me. Home Depot understands family shopping and theyve got a customer for life because of the way they conducted their business during the lockdown.
