2021 is not without it’s fair share of challenges. Buying a vehicle is not easy in todays current market. I knew this going in. I was lucky to stop at Adventure Subaru first and have the pleasure to talk with Tony Canzone. He not only shot straight with me from the beginning but managed my expectations in a crazy market while giving me some great advice.In the end, I got the best service from Tony and Adventure Subaru. Many of the other dealerships just didn’t seem to have their heart in the sale. Tony was honest and actually tried to get me into a vehicle. I ended up with a 2022 Outback. This is not only my first Subaru but my first new car since I started driving 25 years ago.I couldn’t be happier; not just with the vehicle, but the whole process. I was taken care of, welcomed into “The Subaru Family” and walked around like I was a VIP. Honestly, this was a phenomenal experience. Do yourself a favor and give them a shot before you trek all over God’s green Earth. If you want to speak with someone that has experience, is a rock star at what they do, is honest and truly cares, go see Tony Canzone! You’ll be glad you did!Thanks Adventure Subaru!!!

My first experience here was very good. But this last time was not great.I needed to pickup my Subaru and return my rental car to Hertz. I couldnt find anyone to ride with me that day, so I figured I would just ask if someone at the Adventure Subaru could help me out? Hertz is about A mile down the road from Adventure Subaru. I would have walked but I had my daughter with me. When I got to Adventure Subaru I asked the receptionist if someone could follow me to drop off the rental car. She said she had to ask her manager( service Manager) I dont think he knew I could hear him when the receptionist said I needed a ride to drop off my rental car. He said ARE YOU KIDDING ME! to the receptionist. I just spent a little over 1,000 dollars(which is a lot for me right now) to have my vehicle fixed there. Im pretty sure had I arrived in a rental car to buy a new vehicle from them they wouldve been very accommodating. Service Manager needs to brush up on his customer service skills, or at least talk about customers where they cant hear him.just had to vent!! The comment hurt my feeling a little bit.

What my husband and I appreciated most, was the non pushy sales atmosphere. We stopped after closing hours to see the cars in the lot, and saleswoman Rhonda Webb was still working. She greeted us, allowed us to see the cars closer, handed us a card, and was simply friendly. It was refreshing to be treated so warmly. We knew we would be back. And we did. In my opinion the cars sell themselves, making the sales process uncomplicated. In fact, our cousin came in a couple of weeks later and bought herself a Subaru also! I think this is a great dealership.

I had my Outback in for service and was very impressed with Adventure Subaru. I live an hour away from the dealership, but the whole experience was worth the drive. They covered everything they were going to do and how long it would take, to service my Outback. They offered complimentary coffee, water and even a granola bar. The dealership was very conscious of the current pandemic guidelines and had two different waiting areas, which were socially distanced. The owner even introduced himself and thanked us all for coming in, for service. I had actually never experienced that before at any dealership I had ever been to in 40 years. I actually felt comfortable enough to doze off for about fifteen minutes. The dealership was very busy and reaffirmed my decision to come from an hour away to do business with them. I am usually to much of a procrastinator to write reviews, because I have a lot to say and would just keep putting it off. But that is how impressed I was with the whole experience. I will happily continue to use Adventure Subaru and tell all my friends and family to go there, if they want a great dealership and service experience.

This was hands down the BEST car buying experience I’ve ever had. Everyone was so nice and the dealership was so clean. Everyone was wearing their masks, everything looked like it was wiped down regularly, they even had air purifiers going at every desk and even the bathroom!My sales rep was Chuck Willis and he did just a fantastic job. He was so friendly and knowledgeable and really got me a good deal on my car, even though I have pretty bad credit. And I got gap insurance, a Subaru warranty and even tire protection included all at a price I could actually afford. I was offered the lowest APR I have ever had. I never once felt pressured to buy, I felt like my needs were respected from start to finish without any of the typical high pressure tactics you get from other dealers. And the whole process took just over 2 hours! I was expecting to be there all day.Rachel did my finance paperwork and was just one of the most personable and funny people I have ever met. And at the end Chuck even helped me clean out my old car. The car I got was very nice and absolutely loaded with features and it was listed at an extremely fair price. The whole experience was amazing and I will be coming here again in the future if I ever find myself in the market for another car. If you are looking for a Subaru go to Adventure Subaru and ask for Chuck! You won’t regret it!

Wow I am humbled by Adventure Subaru. Jim the salesman, Dave Every, the General Manager and the finance dept ❤️ really really worked hard to get me in the car I wanted. They worked thru the next day to find just the right vehicle for me! They listened N they didnt make me feel like I was just a sale. They treated me like family. Ive made auto purchases for almost 40 years now.The gentleman Tony Canzone was by far and away the most genuine salesmen Ive ever dealt with. His level of experience in the automotive field, and his ability to listen to what I needed to happen were second to none..,. I was able to meet the service manager, his sales manager, and received a tour of how his dealership works, with customers.I wont go on rambling, I truly recommend wholeheartedly that if you are looking for a vehicle new or used that you deal with Tony Canzone.

I had been a customer of Adventure Subaru for years (No More). I have not only purchased vehicles from them but I have sent several friends who have bought cars from them.I have used their service department for many, many years but it unfortunately appears there’s a shift in the integrity level and they have become the stereotype shyster auto service.They did the “free” multi point inspection and with a list of 5 “needed” items, I asked them to do only 2, change the oil and rotate the tires.They told me my tires were “really getting bad” and said they had 4/32 of tread and suggested new tires. I had them checked twice at two places outside of their facility, 2 of the tires were at 6/32 & the other 2 were 7/32, I wasn’t even close to needing new tires.When I picked the car up, I noticed I was not charged for rotating the tires so I asked did you rotate the tires? the young lady looked at the invoice and said no, since I seemed irritated she went and asked Mark, Mark came out of the office looked at me and said yes, we rotated the tires. I know for a fact they did NOT, and I know because the scarred rim never moved.I wont stand for lies!

Couple problems:1. When I ordered the car, it was traded from another dealer. It only came with one key fab. The 2nd one was promised to be in by 1 week later. It did not come in. Adventure did not follow up to see if the dealer had it until I complained about it while I was there for another service issue. When I was there this past weekend for the other service issue, they were supposed to re-program the other key fab - but, because Subarus network was down, they couldnt do it. They offered to give me a loaner car and then work on it during the week, but I decided I would just wait until I got my first oil change.2. Front view camera did not work when I had the car. It took two trips to the dealership to get this corrected. One to identify the problem, the second to install a new camera.3. The car is great; but, follow up from dealership on these items has not been good.

Approximately two weeks ago, John Himpley contacted me regarding my equipment on my new Subaru to check that I was comfortable with the electronics, technology in the car. He was very informative, educational, and personable and took his time to explain to me the aspects of the workings of the car. I popped into Adventure Subaru to compare prices and dealerships about a month ago and ended up leaving with the car I loved for a price I couldnt pass up. Everyone at Adventure Subaru was so hopefully and easy going. No one was pushy and really took their time with me. After choosing to purchase my car through Adventure Subaru, the kindness and excellent customer service did not stop there. I live in PA and they went above and beyond to make my purchase and transition into my new vehicle seamless and hassle-free. I had no issues as they handled everything, and then on top of it off getting a call a few weeks later to ensure all my questions were answered regarding the new car, exceeded my expectations. My appointment was at 12:30. I was on time and was greeted with a person with an attitude. I was told it would take 45 minutes to an hour. After an hour I asked how much longer. A person holding a slice of pizza and food in their mouth told me it would be longer. I was there an hour and 15 minutes. Seemed excessive for and oil change and tire rotation. It would have been nice to have this done in less than an hour and have the car ran through a wash.

Great car (Outback Onyx XT), poor dealership experience. Dealer ended up retrieving a slightly different car than I thought I was going to get. All was the same except for 2 accessories. I received a car with 2 accessories that I did not want instead of 2 I thought I was going to receive. Ended up overpaying for these 2 accessories. Dealer did install missing accessories but still had 2 accessories I did not want and ended up paying for them. In the end, this dealer mistake salted the whole experience. Highly recommend the car but do yourself a favor and take your business to a different dealer.

This is our third new Forester, all purchased at the same place, even though the dealership is owned by different people now. We also have had them serviced there, although we also have a mechanic within 3 miles from us (as opposed to at least 30 miles to Adventure) who also specializes in servicing Subarus.We live in the snow belt east of Cleveland on the side of a hill. We have never had a problem with a Forester getting up our driveway, even with snow that has not been plowed yet. I am also happy with the way the Forester handles on the freeways when we visit our sons family south of Dayton in February.Dealing with Adventure Subaru has always been a pleasant experience.

Very dishonest dealership I work for AAA and they told me that I had to come change the battery and one of their Subarus even though Subaru has a recall out because they cant figure out whats draining all their batteries in all their Subarus and after we found out that our battery was fully charged they told me what well just let it drain and then youll have to come replace it it is not a good time to buy a Subaru I we we jump many Subarus in the customers are very aware Subaru has replaced batteries and they still do not know what is drawing the amps from the batteries

Absolutely horrendous in every way possible. Took our Subaru in for a recall and an oil change. There was a catastrophic failure in the oil change which cause a severe oil leak which resulted in the engine seizing. The dealership refused to take responsibility or even acknowledge the failure. The most unbelievable aspect is that the owner of the dealership berated me over the phone insisting I was a negligent owner. We ended up having to contact Subaru directly, transferred the vehicle to another dealership, confirmed the oil change failure, and had to have the engine block replaced. Please do not ever go to this dealership. Their lack of accountability and basic human decency is stunning and appalling.

My husband went into subaru with every intention of purchasing a vehicle that day. He walked around the show room for at least 5-10 minutes and workers never acknowledged him or even said hello well be with you shortly. He literally was never even addressed even though he walked around workers, tried to find help, etc. He walked out, drove down the street to Kia and drove away in his new vehicle an hour or so later.... you lost a car sale because your employees simply didnt even say hello...

Not the Subaru Dealership we were used to for the past 10 yrs. Everything and everyone recently changed, for the worse. It took two months just to get our A.C. fixed right. Poor communication. New ownership is pushy and with poor customer care. Larry service manager, was nice, did his best, but obviously does not have proper help. But there just doesnt seem to be the same happy crew that used to work there, they made getting your car fixed not so bad because they treated you special. everyone who came in were special. Now just a number, lack of attention to detail. We will be checking out another Subaru dealership. even though much more distance. The new owners really ruined a great dealership.

I went in prepared to buy my first car from Subaru. To be honest, we almost left because the car sales man was essentially telling me what I was looking for was unrealistic. However, my mom noticed Rachel who was incredibly helpful answering her questions. We asked if she could possibly help us. She agreed to sit down with me to understand what I was looking for and my price range. She suggested a few alternative things to meet me at a realistic budget. I ended up leasing a new car. Rachel was so incredibly patient with my family and I. She really took the time to explain everything so I felt comfortable walking out of the door. One month later and I am still obsessed with my decision. Everyone was so kind and stayed after close to finish all the paperwork. I would have given this review 4 stars if this hadnt been the 4thtime I had to take my car up to Adventure Subaru for the same problem. Car going dead due drained battery due to lift gate drawing power. The previous visits basically resulted in them telling me since they couldnt recreate the symptoms I just needed to deal with it. Also advised me to remove my Verizon Hum which had nothing to do with the issue as well as remove the protective spill mat in the rear of the vehicle as a prevention step.....I finally walked in and spokedirectly to service manager and owner and got more action to address the problem. Its unfortunate I had to learn thru myown research on you tube and internet blogsthat this issue persists nationally on several Subaru models yet the dealership seemed unaware until I told them.

Last summer (2019) I began the process of finding myself a new car. As a first-time buyer, I was overwhelmed. I was working with a local dealership who gave me the runaround and had no interest in helping me find what I wanted. I reached out to Adventure and starting corresponding with Nick C. via email. Within one visit with Nick, he found the exact car I wanted (color, trim, features etc.). He listened to what I wanted and what I was able to pay, and ultimately made it happen.In less than a week my car was on the lot ready for pick up. Nick helped me get the paperwork going along with Rachel. Between the signing of papers, looking over the car, and working with the finance guy (who was 100% honest and up front with everything, answering all of my questions), I was out within 90 minutes.Some key points about this dealership:1. The staff is very easy to work with.2. They offer a lifetime warranty for their products. I specifically asked the finance guy why they do this and other dealerships dont. He responded with, we stand behind our products but this gives our customers a peace of mind.3. They do a two-week follow up appointment. I received a free car wash (I asked for it), a $25 gas card, a chance to discuss any features in the car you havent figured out or having trouble with, and they put my plates on for me. Rachel gave me her card and said, call or text me anytime you need anything!As a first-time buyer I really did my homework on what kind of car I wanted. Safety, reliability, and gas mileage were my main criteria. I am the owner of a 2020 Subaru Forester and I dont have an ounce of regret with my purchase. Ill continue to promote this dealership for their obvious superior customer service.

We love Adventure Subaru! Last year when we moved to Ohio, I had to get a car. I hate car shopping with a passion and dragged my heels for 2 months before I agreed to go with my husband. The many other places we went to first just cemented my deep dislike. The very last place we went to was here and it was the best car shopping experience Ive ever had in over 30 years! Bought our Subaru Outback, which has been a great vehicle! And Adventure still has not disappointed in their high level of customer service. Weve been back twice for oil changes and to get our radio fixed, and it still amazes me how friendly and personable everyone is from the receptionist, to the service employees, and even the sales people passing by. We recently purchased a new Outback from Adventure and overall had a positive experience. The purchase was painless and efficient. We got a fair price for both the car and our trade and working with Katie (and a big shout-out to Rachel as well) on the sale was absolutely fantastic. We’ve never had a positive experience with a car salesperson until Katie and we’d refer her to anyone. In fact, one of my husband’s co-workers is planning to buy a Forester from her. Katie’s honesty, enthusiasm, and commitment to customer service are refreshing.The initial financing didn’t go as smoothly, and was the typical “sit in the finance office for 2 hours and play the warranty shell game” experience. Ultimately we ended up cancelling our gap coverage and extended warranty and purchasing them at a better price from our car insurance broker and an out-of-state dealership we found on the Subaru Outback forums. John, one of the more experienced finance managers, politely unwound our deal and redid our paperwork, which we appreciated. We also got the competitive loan rate we were told we’d get, which was also appreciated. Our credit union couldn’t get close to the rate we got through Adventure.We did have an unusual situation, in that we were given what appeared to be a used remote with our new car (the car was a dealer swap and came from Pittsburgh). We took it back to Adventure and showed the remote to service and several salespeople, to which they all commented “That’s weird...never seen that before.” We would have liked to have been offered a new remote to replace the “used” remote, as the remotes are hundreds of dollars, but instead Keith notated it in their system and said Adventure would give us a complimentary replacement if the remote failed. Hopefully we don’t have to take them up on that offer.

I scheduled an appointment for a recall item on my 2015 Outback. I told the scheduler exactly what I needed and gave the recall number along with my contact information. I showed up for my appointment today, after waiting nearly 2 hours I was told that they did not have the parts to do the work and I would need to re-schedule. I drove an hour for this appointment and took time off of work. You can bet I wont be back. Very disappointing.

Been a customer for many years.Had many good experiences, but definitely a few where the service department was less than helpful or completely honest.Overall the facilities are excellent, and many of the staff are very genial, but I’ve had at least two experiments where nickel and diming got in the way of providing good service and cost a lot of customer loyalty.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANY ONE GOT A CAR IN OCTOBER AFTER FIVE DAYS THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON TRIED GETTING IT FIXED THEY WEREN’T CONCERNED WITH ANY OF MY PROBLEMS TOOK MY CAR TO BUICK TURNS OUT I NEED A NEW ENGINE HAVEN’T HAD THE CAR FOR 6 MONTHS HAVEN’T DROVE IT IN TWO MONTHS BECAUSE IT JUST STOPPED ON ME ONE DAY IN THE MIDDLE OF ME DRIVING NOW I HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR A NEW ENGINE BECAUSE THE SO CALLED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ANYTHING AND THEIR RESPONSE TO ME WAS OH WELL WHAT DO YOU EXPECT YOU HAVE A USED CAR YOU CANT EXPECT EVERYTHING TO BE WORKING CORRECTLY BUT I DAMN SURE DIDN’T EXPECT TO NEED A NEW ENGINE I WAS SOLD A LEMON AND I WILL BE LOOKING INTO A LAWSUIT THEY GET ONE STAR FROM ME ONLY BECAUSE THEY WERE NICE WHEN I GOT THE CAR

The service at the facility was fine. However, attempting to contact them was horrific. Chat, phone, email, and even initially visiting to complete the service was messed up as I got no response. When I showed up the first time, based on extended hours, their brochures for those hours was wrong, even though I just got them. I made more than 5 attempts to contact them and arrange for service with no luck. It is a shame because I like the car, but it should never be that hard to contact a facility and arrange for service. Never.

I loved working with Adventure. I talked three local Subaru dealers about inventory, price and options. I got a lot of salesy answers and runaround, if I got any follow up at all. The fear to buy a new car, dealing with sales staff etc... never happened!I was extremely satisfied dealing withRob the sales person helping me know the difference and value of the Subaru. Top of the line regarding safety features. Rob never pressure me and worked with me for a fair simple deal.Also a week later I received a call from RachelAsking me if I was comfortable with the car and all it’s features. I said I had some items I needed a little assistance understanding the safety features she immediately said for me to stop in to review the car again.I did and I was very satisfied with her knowledge and support showing me and explaining my concerns answering all my questions.Oh she also gave me a gas card just for coming back in .I recommend if your looking for a new car first stop should be Adventure Subaru of PainesvilleAsk for Rob you will not regret your time.

I am so happy I replied to advertisement that I received in the mail from Adventure Subaru!!! Richard is a great sales person and educator! My experience purchasing my car with him was great.
