We live in Indiana and hit a deer 🦌 while in Kentucky. State Farm, our insurance company, (not the deers), referred us to a few places. We were told Larry Meadows was THE BEST. They did an amazing job! Family owned and operated business. Great customer service, friendly, our car looks like brand new. Highly recommend. First class body shop.

They always take such good care of me — not that I need that service much. Still, they go above and beyond to make sure the insurance is correct. They replaced my tail light two weeks before my appointment just to ensure I was driving legally, and to my surprise went ahead and popped out my bumper so it didn’t look so bad. I’ve always been pleased with their work and their professionalism.

I can’t express just how good the customer service was at Larry Meadows. We had an accident on the I24 bridge while on a cross country road trip. They handled EVERYTHING with excellence. The tow, transportation, estimate, storage, and a lockout. Seriously, if it could go wrong on this trip it did and these folks were AMAZING. As an out of town insurance agent myself, I would say that it couldn’t have been handled any better. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for taking such good care of us!

Weve had about 4 or 5 fairly substantial bodywork repairs performed there. Just a wild guess because I dont have all my years of receipts in front of me, but maybe the total would be $8000. This was on a vehicle with Id call a special type paint. Theyve always gotten it right, quotes were accurate, a good experience for our family.

Very friendly staff. Went above and beyond to get correct insurance claim and phone number for the woman who hit my car.

After hitting a deer in my sons car, our insurance company wanted to total it but they fought hard to keep it out of a total loss. The repair/replace work was done well. It took 6 weeks.to get the vehicle back but that was an insurance issue, not theirs. Thanks Larry and team!

I took my vehicles to medows for years. The work was always good the wait always long. Then the last time, after being hit in the door of my pickup by a lady. They refused to repair the interior which left a hole on the inside door panel. They said that couldnt have happened in the wreck. Since I knew better I went to the ladies insurance which was glad to repair it. After dealing with the manager and the owner for two month. Go to Randys ever since.

They do a fantastic job and have for years. Recently took our 2017 Hyundai to them after hitting a deer and messing up front end pretty bad. Got it back in less than a week and looks good as new. I highly recommend.

The tow truck driver just about took us out going way too fast on Jefferson. We were putting toddlers in the car and he barely missed our car. Thats one way to drum up business, I guess.

Ive been a repeat customer for decades and they refused to give me an estimate when I answered their question of what insurance is covering this. I explained that it might be homeowners, auto insurance, or possibly going to court over it. I had to threaten to call Larry Meadows personally before they would write the estimate. If my parents hadnt been friends in the past or we hadnt done work for them in the past, construction, I doubt that they would have given me a quote. Im really not happy with the direction Meadows is heading. You can tell Larry is backing down and allowing other family to take over.

Extremely professional and easy to work with. They will tell you like it is without any hedging or doublespeak. Would recommend to anyone.

When it comes down to dealing with insurance these guys are legit....now the dealership should not be trusted for estimates, wont name names but our dealership took us for a 3 month long ride and wasted our time when all we need to do was come here. Very professional.

Had a run of bad luck last fall with some deer. They handled everthing from the insurance claim and finished repairs... Came out better than new and all finished on time.... Which didnt take long.

I took my vehicle to Larry Meadows after I had an accident back in March. They fixed the truck and it looked good. Well, so I thought. It was raining the day I picked it up and couldnt really get a good look at it but they promised me they guarantee their work. I drove about 10 miles and when my passenger tried to get out she realized that the door handle on the inside didnt work. I drove back to their shop and had them fix this immediately. After a few days I was able to finally get a good look at my truck. Well, there was a large drip in the paint on the grill, the grill slats werent painted black like it originally was, there was over spray on trim, they didnt replace a side sticker that I paid separately for them to do (the guy working on it thought it was an extra, apparently he cant read their own paperwork showing work to be performed), they didnt replace ANY of the emissions or belt routing stickers that they assured me they make sure to replace.I asked them to take care of this...oh sure, just bring the vehicle back in and drop it off and we will get it taken care of. Well, I had a rental car the first time paid for by insurance during the time they originally fixed my vehicle. I told them I dont have any way to do that since I work and have one vehicle. I got to wait for 4+ hours while they again repaired my vehicle while they never once offered to pick up the expense of a rental car for me for a day after I spent nearly $4500 there already.A couple weeks later I got to looking at my truck again on a nice sunny day. Now I notice a spot starting to bubble on the door of my truck that they had sprayed. I talk to Joey and he tells me he will have to talk to the owner to see what they can do. A week goes by so I decide to stop in one day and see what is going on. I walk in and Joey and the owner are sitting around and he sees me and says oh hey, sorry I havent gotten back to you yet Ive been busy. They werent going to do anything for me because their must have been a tiny spot of rust on the door and they dont guarantee rust. I explained that I understood that but why would they clear coat over a spot of rust, had they told me I would have had them fix that too instead of causing an ugly bubbling spot on my door. Nope, still wouldnt do anything for me....this now being my 4th trip in for a vehicle they had for over a week originally. I will never go back to them again, and recommend everyone I know to stay clear as well.Great talkers, but thats all they are. They dont stand up for their work and obviously dont give a crap about their customers who dont have brand new expensive car that needs repair. Their quality control is non-existent as proven by stuff anyone would have noticed on my vehicle. Collect the money and run would be a good description of these clowns.
