Huge Costco-like grocery store! I was shocked, after finding parking between oversized carts and abandoned furniture, the store was a Mecca. Giant aisles held a huge selection of food. I felt like I was in Texas.I was hungry and came in here looking for something quick to eat, and found what I wanted. There’s a bakery section, prepared food bar, hot food ready to go, salads, sushi, sandwiches. I grabbed some boiled eggs and a King Louie crab salad, made with imitation crab meat. It was honestly and unpredictably the best salad that I had in a long time.The layout of the store is perfect for pandemic grocery shopping. Large spaces allow for great distance between customers.Plenty of free parking out front.

I usually love shopping here, but lately, I havent. Absolutely nobody social distances here. The lines at the registers are so long, they go all the way to the back of the store. They meander up & down the aisles, and there is nobody controlling the large clusters of people at the registers. Nobody is at the front door monitoring that either. So, should someone not be considerate of how close they get to others, dont expect those people to be considerate in return, in telling people to back off. THIS IS NOT SOCIAL DISTANCING! Would you like a side of Covid to go with the groceries you bought for you & your family? The store managers should be controlling how many people are in the store at a time. They are definitely not adhering to the covid guidelines, and are running things like they were before the pandemic. They are putting customers at risk, their employees, and all their families. Its a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Store can be a little busy. When I went to check out, the cashier helped buy ringing up extra bakery items i wanted more of. so I could just go grab them on the way out. Great customer service 5 stars!

They NEED TO OPEN MORE CASH REGISTERS/check stands. I’m like WHY HAVENT YOU ALREADY. I’d buy More. And visit more often but besides the patience being extremely real. Kroger stores ALWAYS Has what I need.

The African American cashier was very courteous real nice to me i felt like I was in Beverly Hills.

If you are looking for a place with good food and fair prices then look no more. I’m so glad there is a Food 4 Less here in Oxnard. They have good produce, meat and everything you can think off food wise.

Food4Less is a great store. Low prices on majority of their products, especially on fruits and vegetables. You will probably never find another grocery store cheaper on fruits and vegetables than here. The over the counter meats and seafood are great too. This grocery store will not disappoint.

Today my mother took me & being my first time I was pleased beyond words. It was like walking into a Costco but with better cheaper prices. The selections were more than Walmart. It definitely is the place to go to stock up on what you need. And unlike Costco you dont need a membership card to get in.

I love this store. It was packed today as everyone tried to get in their weekend shopping in the break/let-,up in the rain, and I basically only went in for milk. The guy in front of me in the 14 item Lane has about $100 worth of groceries, and I didnt complain. I knew the cashier, and I knew she would be quick, and I was seated in one of those handicap carts anyway. The prices are always the lowest... And spending my money there gets me a 10¢ per gallon discount on every gallon of gas at food 4 less gas station next door. Ive been shopping here about 15 years, and for the most part, its already great. Its one of the few places that actually cares about handicap people, and doesnt just go through the motions. When their handicap carts break down or stop working the repair, and finally replace them. They have common sense to realize handicap people buy just as many groceries as everyone else, if they can get around the store. Its a bag your groceries place, but they always offer to help me out by helping me bag, and even helping me to my car, even though they dont have to. I will never shop anywhere else as long as I live here.

They got everything and real good prices .but what I can not understand is quality of the product.for example I been going to food4less for ample amounts of years. Back way back I started buying food for the wild birds. That come to my back yard to make my life happy &joyful. I look elsewhere did not find the good price and quality of the food. And the price was good and still good.the only problem is that. Now you get quantity. Not quality...I dont understand why markets do that. Now I have to look elsewhere for this little birdies food. I dont know about. Other customers but me for my person. I rather have quality than quantity. 😊

Looks really nice inside and parking wasnt too bad. Alot of people. The cashier was rude, didnt ask if I needed bags made a big deal about it when I asked to pay for more bags. Great selection of products. Bananas were ripe. Everything was very easy to find. Great place for quick shopping and large shopping trips.

This store used to be one of my favorite grocery stores. But prices have really gone up now that it is in a new building. Still a good place to shop and you can pull over the next building and get cheap gas

Love the quality of the meats MOST of the time as well as the fruits and vegetables. The things i really wish they improve on is: the amount of lines that are open throughout the evening, it is ridiculous how long i must wait in line even on the express lane! I wish they can always have top notch quality fruits and especially meats. Here and there i see really bad fruit or vegetables and also get bland tasting fruit sometimes. The meat looks amazing most of the time but sometimes it looks dry or very short on the amount of flesh and too bone-y... At least lower the price when ribs lack flesh! Last but not least hire better people. Everytime i go to the food 4 less in Oxnard, CA I get these horrible meat service by a clerk (more specifically a white small looking guy with a full grown beard) he rushes you and has attitude for no dang reason. I was really really close to pop off on him but remained calm and also was in sandals and not my boots. Other than that i shop here very often and the security is always friendlier than the staff. Buy food here!!!

Great selection of meats for a bbq! Excellent prices as well. Service at the front was also smooth and plenty of help. Just do not forget your bags.

Went in there to get a case of water, red rooster hot sauce. Cashier polite. Also bought homeless men some hot food❤. The Goodness of God😄

They dont do exchanges and accept returns. They have been changing policy without signs or announcement.Also be cautious for grocery prices at cashier, they do mark up.

What a HUGE STORE! Its very clean and organized. Well stocked, lots to choose from. Prices arent bad. Cashier was quick and friendly.

Remodel? Guess when target moved to collection f4l moved into target building leaving the old Ralphs vacant. Somewhere Ralphs became f4l at this location. Have recycle with reverse vending and gas with decent gas and working pump nozzles. Since it is Ralphs sister company you get Ralphs rewards 10 cents a gallon. No toilet code required.

There produce is always fresh and wonderful prices. They also maintain the store clean at all times. Plus you get rewards for the gas station next door.

Food For Less in Oxnard has been my go-to grocery store for a long time.Recently I started choosing Pink Lady apples.Some time ago I was pleased to see they were priced at $1.29 per pound.I paid for them. I did not pay attention to what Iwas charged.The next time I was in there, the apples were still $1.29 per pound.At the register I was charged $1.69/lb.The cashier called someone and they must have said to charge me $1.29.The next time: same situation!The cashier said the correct price is $1.69/lb.I told her this was the third time; so why not take down the incorrect price posted by the apples.She didn’t seem interested : (.Today (4-7-2018) the price posted is still $1.29.I will watch Food For Less like a hawk as to what I get charged!

Im so happy they moved the store into a new building. Everything is so fresh and clean and easy to find. Prices are great. I always knew the produce wasnt great but lately theyve had great selection and its delicious.

Great values and selection, but takes getting used to.In most US grocery stores, similar items are all grouped together, but here they are spread out. So for example, green olives are found in about FOUR separate places. Same with lime juice and other products. So to compare options, you have to go all over the store. At least milk and eggs are all in fixed locations.

Havent been here in years. I normally shop at Wal-Mart, Smart n Final and occasionally Vons. I liked the environment. It wasnt too busy got thru the10 items or less and the cashier was acceptable in her customer service. I stopped shopping at Food 4 Less about 2-3 years ago after terrible service. I liked the store today.

The store was great when they first reopened it, but they havent kept up with the produce and fresh foods, not to mention the loud camera alarm that alerts you every two seconds that they are watching you!!! Look I am from Oxnard so I understand the need for cameras but the excessive loud alarm is way too much!!!

The store was recently relocated right next door and it is now way better than before. This store now has a deli, bakery, and an increased amount of products. Like the previous location, there is a recycling center on site as well, although it is a little hidden because it is behind the store. I definitely recommend checking this store out for your grocery needs.

Our go-to for groceries. Theyve got a great variety of veggies and fruits. Name pretty much says it all. Its affordable!

Wow! The most amazing thing happened when I was here! I was walking down the aisle and this crackhead dressed in a dolphin costume was pouring water on her head, yelling I cant breath! And then security came and tackled her and dragged her way... True story

Bad attention in the butcher shop

A lot of their items are a bit pricy. But not as bad as most places around. the staff are usually helpful. But the parking lot is almost always a mess. There are shopping carts placed everywhere. I usually have to get out to move a cart from a parking spot to park.

Great aside from having to use the mens room. Quite ruined for such a new store. So sad, when I was young it seemed like this abuse did not exist.

I love food for less. They have more choices in the meat sections that other stores dont have them. But one downfall is their cashiers dont have enough manpower to cover the long line. They should hire more cashier to accomodate long frustrating line

Just the service sucks.I went there 3 times for the past monthAround 8:00pm because is close to my place to work I buy a couple of things it takes me 5 mints so I get in the line and then have 14 registers. Just 4 open!A big lines with a lot of people with their carts full of groceries.Me only 3 items and I have to wait like 25 mnts. Same exactly like WAL-MART.Unfortunately is the only place around.This is because they dont want to paid more employees.Sad

Went in since online they had their ad running with Kroger Turkey at 39cents a pound or Butterball turkey at 99 cents a pound with a $25 dollar purchase. Well got my list, drove across town for this, filled my cart with $40+ in groceries not including the turkey, expecting the adversed price, NOPE. 13lbs butterball turkey $29 WHAT!!! Showed the cashier the add, she wanted to help so she called the lead and shows here the ad and asked if she could manually enter the amount. She said No and said get the Kroger for that price. I told her if I wanted the Kroger I would get it I want the butterball at the advertised price. They called the store manager he said sorry can’t do anything.Tired of this drive across town for what they advertise and the best they can do is I am sorry. I have a Vons, El Super, Superior, Walmart, Tresierra, Vallarta all way closer.Good Bye Food4less you can trick us by advertising something then saying I am sorry pay more.
