Guy up front is too dry to be at the counter. Showed me a speaker and I double checked pricing online; seemed like it bothered him. Gave me a price and asked if he could do any better and said no. Im cool with that but when your marking your stuff up 50% over online prices you should know that people are not just gonna give money away. He said bring your own stuff and we will install. How about you become a more friendly counter/sales guy and sell the stuff you have there.

Let them know you were referred by the cable guy youll get the in-house special :) get treated like family there. Trust me youll be thankful you picked this spot when you need assistance with some trouble shooting they will offer assistance without a charge. Just dont take advantage and if you do have a few trips just take care of your guy working on your ride a little tip goes a long way.

I was extremely disappointed with Stereo 1. I called to have a blind spot monitor and lane assist installed in my vehicle. I gave him the make and year and was told I could come in the next day, it would take two to three hours. When I arrived I was told they didnt have the part I needed and tried to sell me another one but would likely not have it finished in one day. The man assisting me didnt seem to know what he was doing and kept going back to the shop to ask a manager questions. All of this was extremely disappointing! Stuff happens!The absolutely disgraceful behavior was the man who helped me. He was not wearing a mask and was chewing gum right in my face. I kept backing up for distancing to no avail. In looking around I noticed several employees not wearing a mask... even in the workshop area. I dont think I want those workers in and out of my car.

Horrible service! First the set up my system and run the wires through my work laptop bag. 2 days later the system stops working, I bring it back the check it and say they need to send my speaker to JL Audio. 2 months later I decided to cut my loss. They have horrible customer service. Totally regret ever doing business with them.

So I went to this place because I had previously had a stereo installed there. They charged me $1,500 for a system and because of this, I bought all the items this time on Amazon and it cost about $400. They quoted me $190 to do the install. I had also bought a car alarm and I brought all the parts to them. Everything was fine until it was all done and they had not installed the car alarm, then had the nerve to tell me that it was not on the work order. They could have at least told me that hey, the car alarm is not part of this and youll have to pay a little extra, which I gladly would have forked over. I didnt have that option and by the time they were done it was almost closing time for them. Then their owner instead of just accepting responsibility for it got all disclaimatory on me. I will never go to this place ever again. Whats funny is that Ive got three friends who all need new car stereos put in their cars and I was going to send that business their way, but forget that. I would avoid these people. I would have been better off paying an extra $50 and have it done at Best Buy, at least then I would have known what it was right off the bat. Not cool.
I grew up watching my uncle buy Stereo systems from these guys all the way in the Midwest. So I only trust stereo 1 anywhere. These people here has helped me so much with my system and more. Do not go here...I went in to fix my car’s head lights.Well the second day after getting them fix one of them went out, i took it back about 5 times I waited about a week to get it replaced.Turns out my car a Benz does not detect the light system they installed and keeps giving an error message, the guy there had no idea on how to fix that or what type of light to use with this type of car and told me to come back in a few months and wait until he gets a machine that will tell him what is wrong?????On top of that I asked if he could fix one of the fog lights. He did fixed it but after a day it went bad again.I paid for all this services and asked for top quality products. It is clear to me that this place is not honest and do little to nothing... I had and still having a horrible experience with this place. DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE.

I went to have a stereo installed and intenna put in. My husband and I have been going for years. We spent $240.00 there. It took about three hours. When they brought the car around we had to clean all the trash they left behind and on top of that our speaker and amp was missing and when we told the owner he didnt do anything about it. I recommend you dont do any business there.

Arrogant owner. Treats customers poorly. I called for installation and they told me to come over and theres no wait . When I reached there, they changed the tune. Asked for a higher price than whats quoted on the phone. I agreed to it and then they said it will be 2 hours wait. I left the shop. I will never go here again nor I recommend anyone to deal with this shop.

I drove 2hrs to get a touch screen stereo installed. When ever you would touch the screen it had a beeping sound. I was unable to turn off the sound. I took it back to get if fixed, and they said I had to update the software, instead of them doing it..So I downloaded the software but it turns out, that it didnt need no update, it was just a bad stereo. They didnt even bother to replace it. So now Im stuck with a beeping StereoWill NOT Recommend!!👎👎

Spent $1700 on steakers and amp . 01-05-2019 kelp my Toyota tundra truck all day .. lots of issues with there insall . When i push right on my balance Left side plays, when i push Left balance Riht side plays. Left front door speaker sounds muffled.. amp keeps cutting out no power to speakers. I believe something is shortening out the amp. . I have never had installers mess up a installation this bad, they banging the truck molding to see if they could find the short. .. WOULD Not RECOMMEND .. they kept my vehicle for 10 hrs .. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. going back Monday January 7, Round 2 last chance to fix it before i cancel Payment.

Please, dont go to this place. The owner is a bragging middle eastern gentleman who was very untruthful to me. Sold me a amp telling me my old one was dead ($800 amp) then he tried keeping my old amp after I argued he finally gave it back to me. Took it to stereoland in Ventura, they bench tested it for free! And it WORKS! NO ISSUES AT ALL!

Have to say first off Im very leery of stereo shopts over the years (Im 51yo) but I have to say these guys really impressed me... went to find an issue with one of my speakers not putting out audio, they took it around back then came to me and said that all that happened was the poor wiring job from the previous stereo shop got the wire pinched. Easy fix, and very affordable....they could of tried to pull a fast one and simply say I would need a new speaker and labor to install, nope, they were very honest. And a busy place, so Im not the only one that knows how good a job they do. They also changed out my HID bulbs to a whiter color for nominal charge. Ill be back.

The customer service that Victor and David provide is great and they treat you like family! They are the best Car Audio and Video place in all of Ventura County! I first went there to have my Viper Car Alarm installed on my 2006 Honda Ridgeline, I was so impressed with their work,and price, I had them install a Navigation system and full Audio and Video package. I absolutely loved everything they did! These guys are truly the best and would recommend them to anybody! Stereo One is the place to go!!!!!!!!

Took my wifes car into stereo one to get a DVD player and also some door speakers replaced from factory. So first visit they did a really bad job on installing the DVD player and now my wifes car interior roof has unwanted holes from poor installation and the DVD player worked for about 5 mins and then stopped working. They are closed on Sundays so had to take time off work to get It fixed on Monday. Go in Monday to get DVD player fixed and also the speakers sounded like crap that were suppose to be Infinity but sounded worse then stock. They fix the DVD player but then we are told that they ordered speakers specifically for my wifes car so it would sound better, but they wont be in until tomorrow. So finally go back on Tuesday and we get treated like strangers and nobody wanted to help us and needles to say that the owner never came out of his office once to say sorry nor fix the problem. Finally after 2 hours of waiting we leave with a pair of $250. Speakers that really costed $88.00. Never ever will I go back nor recommend to any friends or family Stereo one. Please save your money and go somewhere else.

After reading all the positive reviews. I decided to go ahead and stop by yesterday. I was having Radio problems and my passenger side door speakers were not working properly. So i get there and explain my situation they said a technician will take a look at it in few minutes. It was literally about a minute later and they were taking my truck in to diagnose the problem. About 10 mins later the tech figured out it was wiring issues so they went ahead and replaced the faulty wires. About 15 mins later it was done. I was very pleased how fast and professional they were and more so with there pricing that is very reasonable and satisfying to the wallet. Great customer service, great prices and well stocked inventory. I will definetley be coming back. Thanks again Stereo 1 Cheers.
