It was a wonderful experience and an AMAZING coffee! Oh my goodness, I had the boozy whip and it was perfect. With maple and brown sugar it was a perfect latte for fall.

Cute coffee spot. It is hard to find. No signage on Main Street. Cafe latte was hot and delicious. Read about others having scones here, but we arrived when they opened and no baked goods yet. A bit disappointed, but it is a coffee spot and that was fantastic! Beats your chain coffee spots easily!

My wife is originally from Anniston and when we came back to visit family, she said she really wanted to try out this new coffee spot. First off, the location and atmosphere reminds me so much of European cafés that my wife and I frequented in Germany, France, and the Netherlands. It’s all about the experience and my children also enjoyed the outdoor seating and open area. It was amazing to feel like that so close to home! Second, the coffee was delicious and the variety of unique drinks made my wife happy to make her choice (The Whitey Tighty). The last thing that sealed the deal for my experience was that it was located in historic Oxford which is BEAUTIFUL and full of small American businesses. I am from Texas and a big city at that. Historic Oxford brought me back to a more simple time and was very relaxing. I topped it off with some delicious coffee and made my experience 1st Class and one to remember. Thank y’all so much!

What an adorable and professional business in downtown Oxford! They roast their own coffee beans, so the coffee is always fresh. Excellent scones as well. Well definitely be stopping here every time were in the area.

Incredible coffee spot tucked back away in Oxford. I highly recommend any coffee connoisseurs stop by and check it out. I always stop to grab a bag or two of the freshly ground coffee breath when passing through.

Finding the place is part of the adventure, and, its on such a cute and appropriately named street, Choccolocco!!! I was greeted by an adorably sweet four-legged worker, Bella. The Honey Bee latte had me feeling like Winnie the Pooh in paradise!!! The pastries are delicious as well, and the service is amazing!! So glad I discovered this place. It will be my go to spot when traveling the area.

Owners Leah and Brad have a slice of heaven right in the middle of Oxford. So relaxing to just sit and sip. The church bells rang and we even got a hello sniff from the cutest 4 legged employee 🐕 Talk about perfect! I ordered a honey frap, nan chose the coco mocha, and cinnamon rolls had our names on em. We absolutely loved the coffee & it was so wonderful meeting yall ♡

SO charming. Lovely little patio area to sit and enjoy your coffee. Had all the standard options and also unique flavors like lavender. Sugar-free coffee syrups and dairy-free milk options (such as oat milk) are available.

Southern Girl Coffee is located behind the abandoned looking building, in a Pop-up Camper. I had to ask around to find out the location, as the map says that the coffee shop is in this abandoned looking building. The sign that is propped against the wall in the front of the building points down the street and says Coffee this way which is confusing because that way is a parking lot. Regardless, once there, I ordered a vanilla latte, and its not the best. I was advised that after construction is completed, they will be in the building. Hopefully, once theyre settled, the lattes will be better!

Wife and I decided to try this place while heading to Starbucks only to see a line backed up all the way to the highway.I searched for coffee near me and Siri gave me directions to this place.My wife and I will never buy Starbucks again after trying southern girl coffee! This is hands down the best coffee I’ve been served.Don’t change a thing!

I have a coffee place, and I honestly didnt expect to find one.Owner is nice (looks like a decent athlete, inspiring), Bella the dog is p great, and some, but not all, of the seating is comfortable

Leah and the girls are full of southern hospitality and attentive to their customers. I love how they memorize some of their regulars flavors. I truly loved the blueberry muffin latte over the last part of the summer and have now shifted my attention to the Game Day latte. The outdoor shaded setting is peaceful and inviting. I always smile when Bella is hanging out. This is a treasure hidden in historic downtown Oxford that you don’t want to miss. My only advice: give yourself time to stay awhile and not rush the fall morning and good company away.

Quaint place. Nice staff and it attracts friendly customers! Vibe was good; however, the coffee was around 2 out of 5 stars. I think the barista forgot to add the espresso elements. It was very watery or milky with little to no coffee in our latte’s. We had the Honey Bee and Brown Sugar, Cinnamon coffees. May try again with optimism another day, but for now, a bit sad as we went about our day with mediocre coffee.

Coffee done right, right there in Oxford.This is the best coffee in Oxford and for some miles around. I had a latte. The milk was steamed right and at a good temp, the espresso was tasty and strong. The price was right and the service was friendly.

Half way in between Atlanta and Tuscaloosa, perfect stop for coffee. Small, permanent pop up hidden just behind the Main Street in a cute shaded corner with several tables. Talked with the owner, she started in her parents basement and imports and roasts all her own beans.Got a brown sugar cinnamon frozen coffee and an iced americano, both perfect for a hot Alabama summer day. Def worth a quick 3 min detour off I-20 for some outstanding local flavor!

They have amazing coffees you can buy and brew at home yourself. Or if you want a specialty prepared brew like a latte, cappuccino, etc., Theyre better than any big chain coffee places. Plus, they roast their own coffee beans for unique flavors to choose from.

We love SGC! I love The new location of the coffee truck. The atmosphere, staff, and of course the coffee are all amazing.

Loved it! Its like a little hidden secret from the rest of the world. You can grab your coffee quick and sit down to enjoy the breeze and shade, or you can walk the town, and look at what old Oxford has to offer. The church bells were ringing so it gave this already southern town, an even more vintage southern feel. The gals up at SGC, all knew what they were talking about, and didnt give you some menu for you to blow off and decide with no opinion to go by. They very nicely gave me options that they felt Id love, and were right. I ordered a hot dark chocolate mocha, to which the young lady warned me, that the dark chocolate gave her weird dreams. I laughed this off and thought surly not because of some coffee and alittle bit of cocoa in it? She was correct. Very weird dreams! Its such a quant little shop that sits right in the middle of town, but word of mouth must show you just where to find it. Southern Girl almost reminds me of the hidden town of Spectre in the book Big Fish. A place where youll never want to leave.
