Majority of the shelves are bare and only one employee in sight. This one employee crammed 4 bags of chips into ONE bag. I really dont want broken chips and crumbs. Please STOCK THE SHELVES AND TEACH CASHIERS HOW TO PROPERLY BAG ITEMS. Cramming everything in one bag is not acceptable. All the other things I got was crammed into one bag as well. Those bags tear easily. Not happy with this store right now.

I was just in this store right before they closed i actually checked out at around 9:30 perhaps even later than that i spent $37+ and i got home emptied my bags to find no receipt i was unaware i needed ti ask for 1 i just assumed like every place else they give you your receipt. After checking me out the cashier followed me out to parking lot gathering up carts never once mentioning my receipt. I feel like if they arent going to just give you your receipt then they should atleast ask n give me that option rather than just assuming i dont want it or need it. The more i ponder this the more angry i become, because; without my receipt if i were to have to return something they will give you a hard time n act like you didnt pay cash for it or like you never purchased it at all. Im considering calling first thing in morning to see if there is any way at all i can get copy of my receipt.

Got here five minutesbbefore they closed theybhad 2 people in line at the store had the door locked i was literally there for tampons and thats it told me i couldnt come in even though they werent closed yet and refused to serve me.

This one is fairly cleaned. Friendly.has what I need for the most part

You can usually find what you need at a reasonable price, but aisles are usually blocked with stuff that needs to be stocked.

Not enough carts or cashiers. Had to hold cold milk while I waited my turn in long line. Finally opened another register. Both employees were very nice which brought my rating up to 4 stars

Literally the BEST TAKEN CARE OF DOLLAR STORE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I even told the manager there: Best dollar store ever.Clean, organized and very very legit. Seemed not a single thing was out of place. I had to tell him that I and others appreciated it!! 1/17/2019

Its convenient, but you can find a lot of those items you buy there cheaper at Walmart or Krogers.

This store is usually well stocked with attentive staff. The only down fall, the clutter of over stock, which I find in almost every DG nowadays.

So dirty outside made me go to another DG. If its filthy outside I will pass it up an go somewhere else. I know they sell brooms an Windex, why couldnt they use them to make this store a little more welcoming!

DG is a decent place to shop. I was looking for something specific, which they didnt have but that is okay, I will look elsewhere. They did have something I picked up for my wife for Easter, so I feel like it was a win.

The store was just a cluttered mess. I mean there were toys and seasonal items all over on the floor of the aisles and it took forever for me to get a cashier to check me out

This store had inventory all around the store waiting for someone to put it up. Lanes where congested. I did have to move one rack to get what I needed behind the rack. There was a line of several people. I hate waiting. But the price is better here than a supermarket. So I wait.

All of the Dollar Stores in Daviess County that I shop at are well Managed! Dollar General on 4th. St. in Owensboro is dirty! They need HELP on eye appeal as you go in! It probably is because of this location in Owensboro is located where the consuming public are for the most part poor! Its hard to be a shining star in a poor community because the community doesnt care about throwing trash down in the parking lot or wherever! In any CITY you have stores that come in & the community is HAPPY but have the I DONT CARE ATTITUDE!
