Does what is best for his bottom line … which is money! How can you not refill a prescription until 9PM 2 days after it is due!? Don’t blame COVID! Get in your car and give these hurting, stroke prone people what they need when they need it! SHADY PRACTICES!

This business is not what it used to be.Delivery is always an issue as well as picking up prescriptions. I have witnessed the staff talk amongst themselves, badly, about customers that call in over the phone.I like to support local businesses and I have this one for many, many years, but I’m appalled by the lack of customer care and overall experience I’ve received for quite some time now.The chain stores are more friendly and reliable than this place. I hope this will open some eyes.

I waited about 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged me standing AT THE REGISTER.There were all kinds of staff working and stuff everywhere scattered in the floor. Finally someone came over and tried to help but unfortunately didn’t have what I needed ....... was first visit ever and my last!!!!

I dont usually give reviews of much or certain places. However, I want to say if you get any medications in Owensboro, Danhauer, Mom&Pop pharmacy, is top notch!!! I called with a question about my new prescriptions, the phone was ringing off the hook in the background... Not only did Mr. Danhauer speak with me directly, was so patient, and didnt rush me off of the phone. He also took the time to drop a lot of knowledge on me. This kind of personal touch is more and more obsolete. TY Sir!!! Not to mention they deliver, usually same day, up until almost 10pm... Amazing!!👍

Danhauer Drugs has been a LIFESAVER with creating “monthly medication packets”. Each packet is designed with exactly the medication my mother needs at different times of the day. The packets are set up in a nice big roll. The medications are listed on each packet with the exact time to take the medication. Mom can now easily tear off each packet as she needs it. No more worrying if Mom is taking the correct medications at the right time of day, nor do we need to worry if she takes too many pills at one time! No more bottles/ no more confusion! This was genius, Danhauer! Thank you!!

Oh my goodness Greg is a lifeline for me! I don’t know what I would do without you all. I asked for Danhauer in the hospital for the people to provide my oxygen. There is absolutely no better pharmacy to provide oxygen than Danhauer.

I switched to Danhauer earlier this year and could not be more impressed. They are friendly and thorough. They deliver at no extra charge and with no minimum $ amount. They answer the phone promptly and you never have to wait on hold. They are also less expensive without discount cards, etc. Love this pharmacy!

I bought some compression hoses several years ago from here. They were great. I needed new ones because the toes had holes. I went back to buy another pair. They didn’t have the same brand in stock and the lady working there suggested these. I tried to wear them 3 times at work, but they wouldn’t stay up, they wouldn’t stick to my leg. I cleaned them with soap and water, made sure that my leg had no soap or lotion, and they still wouldn’t stay up. I tried to take them back and they refused. I would have spent another $50 on the same brand that I had before. It’s not right at all. They gladly took my money but wouldn’t refund it for the product that they suggested that didn’t work! They SUCK!!

They are very Friendly and very quick to get you in and out, However I have lost all faith in this pharmacy when I arrived to pick up a very important prescription at 4:30 just to find out that they decided to close at Lord knows what time, when their normal hours were until 5, this is very irresponsible and put me in a terrible position, if people depend on you and your services then you should definitely not take upon yourself to leave early, Ive sat in front of Danhauers,while I write this review, to see at least 6 people try to go inside to a place of business that should of been opened for now at least 20 more minutes, this is very upsetting, quick and friendly yes but reliable NO!!!!!

That store is so disorganized its not evenfunny. You would think that since Jeffis not fooling around with Goldie muchhe would be minding the store betterNot so! Nobody knows Jack around there.They just put you on hold forever.

Jeff Danhauer and his staff go out of their way to assist their customers with all of their prescription needs. You know how sometimes you have several prescriptionsthat have different refill dates? Well Danhauer has this program that will sync your prescriptions to the same refill date. Also, they have a packaging service thats puts your daily pills in these little packages with the dates on them which is especially nice for traveling or in my case, forgetfulness!Personally, I absolutely love their delivery service because after a long day at work, all I want to do is get comfortable at home not having to run yet another errand so its very nice to know your drugs will be delivered. They will deliver to work or home and best of all, their delivery service is free! In addition to prescriptions, Danhauer Drugs has an excellent selection of gifts for any occasion. Ive purchased many wonderful wind chimes that Danhauer Drugs gift wrapped and delivered for various occasions. Yet another aspect of Danhauer Drugs, is their wide variety of medical supplies and durable goods. Danhauer Drugs is where I went to get my C-PAP machine for sleep apnea. They have walkers, crutches and even medical beds. A family member of mine needed a medical bed at home after a hospital stay. Danhauer Drugs had it set up and ready when they got home. After many years of being a customer and never having a bad experience, I just cannot say enough good things about Danhauer Drugs. If you need prescription drugs, medical supplies, walkers or even a gift, I encourage you to try out Danhauer Drugs!

I love Danhauers. I trust the pharmacists, and know how much they care. Their family owned pharmacy has been a part of caring for Owensboro residents for generations. I have sleep apnea, and their specialist not only sold me all the equipment I needed, but patiently helped me understand everything I needed to know about it, and answered all my concerns. You can get the medicines you need 365 days a year, and any medical supplies you need. Their free delivery service has been a godsend to my family members whose health makes it hard for them to get out. That is such a help to them, as is their service of packaging medicines to help end confusion over what medicines to take at what times. Kudos, Danhauers!

THE BEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED AT ANY PHARMACY EVER, ANYPLACE, PERIOD. From Jeff and his dad all the way down it is so apparent that these people genuinely care about my familys health. I have watched them drop everything to resolve issues for others as well. If every Owensboro business were this committed to customer service the big box stores wouldnt have a chance here. Hats off! Very disappointed. Unable to drive myself to get meds due to illness so thought Danhauer would be great as they deliver. Twice now I have had to wait and nag to get my meds. Their attitude seems to be you will get your meds when you get them. Last time I use Danhauer.

Everytime I go in with my script I just get stared at before anyone says anything. Most of the time they have trouble finding my script after filling it, and they are just plain rude
