Amazing place to quickly grab some soft stuffed rolls/buns. My friends loved the chicken enchiladas, I like egg and cheese, cream cheese, egg potato and cheese and spinach . We have space to eat here as well as a quick takeaway. Online ordering suck because it always says online ordering not available at this time in multiple apps . The fruit ones are average or may be I don’t have a sweet tooth.

Amazing for breakfast lunch or dinner! These stuffed rolls are amazing. Prepare for their website to not work for online orders consistently because they get busy and shut it down. If you haven’t been there it’s overwhelming with all the options but you have to try the Philly Steak, Italian Chicken and Texas Hot. It’s one of those places that never gets old because they have such a variety. Hopefully they will make the cream cheese and fruit with chocolate drizzle a main stay instead of a monthly special.

First time here. I was happy with the taste and quality of the food but disappointed with the lack of updates in their website. Says kolache of the month is pumpkin but upon arriving at the store its actually turkey..disappointed as I really love pumpkin and came just to try that. Also says they have hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls...noppeee...my son was disappointed.. I was about to order online Im glad I didnt. Definitely come in and do so early on my opinion.

Ive been coming here at LEAST once a week in the mornings for a few months now since moving to OP. I love the fruit filled kolaches and the sausage and egg!! The staff are so welcoming and friendly. They ate always on top of everything. Ive witnessed a few Karens that try to take advantage of the staff and try to get free food or use expired coupons. Its really messed up because we dont do that where Im from. Anyways, best spot for breakfast. Keep up the great work!

Bad experience with their ordering process: Ordered online for pickup ASAP and it defaulted to a time of pickup in about an hour. It was a weekday morning and got some urgent errands around that time, so thought of going to the restaurant and order fresh after cancelling online order. They mentioned that they cannot do that. Came back to adjust my timings according to the restaurant but I wasnt able to and then tried calling on the store number to cancel the order but there was no response.I dont get how they do not have an online option to cancel the order and they are non responsive on phone.(Tried for like 30mins reaching out to the store) They need to look around how other breakfast eateries are making ease of ordering to their customers.Edit: Adding one more star in this review since I just got an email that they theyve cancelled the order and refunded.

This establishment was a fantastic surprise. The food was excellent and service was fast. Prices were fair. Only negatives: counter employee could have been friendly instead of making customer feel uncomfortable. Also, some of the seating could have been open. Maybe every other table. A sampler package would be a great option. Highly recommend this establishment.

Delicious. Jalapeno popper is super spicy. Ive never had a bad kolach. They are always fresh and service is fast.

The bread is amazing and the staff are great. Sausage Egg and Cheese is good. We went there two days in a row and both times were their tables for customers needing attention. But it won’t stop me because of their service and breads.

Where do I start the gravy and sausage kolache is like walking into heaven for the first time. Drove by this place come in order them heat them up its like sinking your teeth into a big sweet heavenly pillow. Its like an angel came down from heaven just to bake these things. You think your teeth into these heavenly pillows and it makes you forget all of your life problems. If you havent tried these youre insane. Whoever makes these things thank you I might invite you to my first borns wedding. Where youll have your own section with as many services you need. You are truly one of Gods angels.

Great place if theres not too much of a wait. The Kolache is very very good fresh and still pretty good later. Pricing is good and the coupons from the online sign up are awesome.Unfortunately, when ordering online we were shorted a Kolache, and theres no way to follow up on orders besides calling, So if its busy and you want to do order pickup youre rolling the dice on a possible mistake. Perfect otherwise.

Tried kolaches for the very first time and loved it. So many varieties and the bread is so soft and fresh. The flavors are so simple yet bold. Mana, the guy who worked there was super sweet and made the whole experience really fun for us.Can’t wait to go back and try more kolaches.

I have really enjoyed this place in the past, so talked my husband into driving the 45 minutes over to give it a try... was so sad to find out that they were sold out of the sausage and gravy when we got there... got the sausage, egg, and cheese which was okay but not a lot of flavor and then they ended up adding an additional kolache to our order AND CHARGING US for it... so disappointed that this is now my husbands picture of what the place is like... but the Valentine special (cherry and cream cheese) was yummy

I grew up eating Czeck kolaches, these are so much better. The meat varieties are fantastic - I cant believe how addicted I am to the bacon cheese kolache. Ive submitted some pretty large orders online (for meetings and such). Theyve always been ready when I arrived to pick up and always accurately fulfilled. I love this place.

I placed an order for six kolache‘s 20 minutes before my arrival upon arrival my order was not boxed up and then I was told four of the kolache‘s that I wanted they were either out of our they were not ready it is 6:34 AM they open at 6 AM

I called made a pick up for 9 am Father’s Day weekend . There was a line out the door and they made me wait 39 min to go through the line to just pick up my TIMED ORDER!!!! Very disappointed. For customer that want to plan ahead get a pick up line!

It’s that good! While in Overland Park forca two week stay my colleagues and I kept coming back to this gem. It’s noisy as usually crowded but the reason is it’s got great food and atmosphere. All the wait staff is efficient and professional. The managers were all attentive as well. Wouldn’t hesitate to return if I’m ever in the area.

Too bad theyre not open all the time get there early if theres something specific you want they do sell out and they only make a certain amount for the day

Second time I ordered the sausage and gravy and had practically nothing but the bun! I even told the guy, and he presented an I dont really care attitude. The only reason I didnt give a worse rating was because the egg and cheese was good.

Dont order delivery from Kolache Factory website. Its through a third-party and they cant get it right. Weve done it twice now and both times were OVER 30 mins late for a work meeting.

Wonderful savory Kolaches. Well worth the stop, but be sure to get there early in the day if you want a full variety to select from (as the kolaches are made fresh each morning and when they run out, they wont make more in the afternoon).

Ordered for curbside delivery and waited over 20 minutes. Never came out. I go inside and the guy said he gave it to the wrong car! Then proceeds to throw some in a box. Then get home and they are the wrong order of kolache! Do not recommend it anymore. Sad. Tried to help them out during Covid, but do not think we will ever go back.

I normally like this place. Recently however they are always out of some of the most popular choices. Went in to get a dozen and they didnt have what I wanted so they said they would get it ready for me to pick-up. I went at the time I said. Nothing was even started. They had forgotten about my order. They had also ran out of the main ones I wanted - i overheard them talking in the back. The guy came out and apologized and said they would have them ready in a few - I waited. The next day we went to serve them to our guests and they did not put the kind or amount I had ordered. They did what they had and lied. This is horrible business.

Disappointment today on Fathers Day. Ordered the night before for curbside pick up. Called to confirm order for pick up before leaving the house. then called to inform them that i was waiting outside. 45 mins later with kids in the car we went inside the store only to find out that my order was never taken care of. lady in the back was rude. i could hear everything she was saying to cashier. cashier was very nice and forgiving. i cant trust them to pull through on special occassions.

The Kolache Factory serves a plethora of delicious sweet and savory breakfast pastries. The restaurant/bakery has a helpful and friendly staff, and the food is reasonably priced. It can get quite busy on weekends, so I recommend going earlier in the morning.

Always one of my favorite breakfast stops. The sausage gravy kolaches are to die for and their coffee is truly the best. Somedays I go in just for the coffee!

Never had a kolache prior to eating here and I was unsure about trying it. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Got a handful of different types to go and brought them home, where they were promptly eaten up quickly! Good variety for picky eaters.

Good for a little treat for the family after church. Really doughy and not as much filling as I remember them having a few years back but still yummy. Staff is really great.

We have been coming here since it opened. Our grandkids LOVE it. We love it. BUT the last 3 months it has not been the same. The coffee is luke warm or empty. The service is beyond grumpy except for one kid who is so friendly. The cleanliness is not there. Worst of all the kolaches are not done. I cant eat uncooked dough. We are not going to spend our money on low quality food. Sorry we will not be back unless there is an improvement I really hope they can get there act together! ☹

Pretty unique place for a quick and inexpensive breakfast. Can be a little greasy depending on which one you get and their beverage options are extremely basic. Come early as the kine gets long!!

Love the place! Kids love the egg and cheese and i always get the jalapenos poppers. The bacon does wonders. the coffee is just coffee but for a quick bite on the run this is a good place to stop by. They also heat it up for you. The only reason for 4 star is the heat up is pretty un-even depends on how many you get.

I have always loved and promoted Kolache Factory but the last visit was really bad. The whole restaurant was a mess. Trash all over the floors and not one clean table. The person who served us did not seem with it. Our order was parially incorrect. The kolaches were undercooked and the ingredients were inconsistent with what they have always been in the past.I am writing this in hope that things will improve and get back to normal.

We had a negative experience last weekend in that we ordered 8 kolache and six of them were not the right ones that we ordered (and too spicy for the kids to eat). Must have been labeled wrong. Didnt know till we got home. I told the manager today and she replaced them without charging me. Thanks!

Hits the spot every time. Look for their buy 3 get 3 free coupons in different mailers and will save you some money. Their quality is consistent over the 5+ years that we have been going there and hoping to continue for many more. Over the past few years they also offer healthier wheat bread options which taste almost as good as the white bread ones.

I left. 1 person working register on a Sat. Morning. Wasnt going to wait 15 minutes. The 1 person was filling a huge order, and @ 8 people waiting. Poor management to only have 1 register open.

Certainly not a healthy option, but still delicious. Dont show up at the time of opening. They often dont have everything out and available for a time after open hours start. Decent coffee.

Kolache factory is just amazing! The first time I had one it was pretty much my favorite breakfast food since then I would reccomend this place to anyone! Also they have some cinnamon rolls that are just awesome!

Pretty crazy what has happened to this place. I live out of town and always go to kolache factory when Im in town visiting because it used to be amazing. This last time I went though they gave me the wrong kind of kolaches, the customer service was really bad compared to usual, the kolaches were undercooked and super doughy, the place had trash all over the floor and the drink machine was broken. It was such a different experience compared to how it used to be, I hope this place gets turned back around.

Thought it would be a good idea to try something different for Father’s Day. Young lady behind the counter was nice and polite but really needs to work on knowing the product she is selling. When asked what was in any of the Kolaches she had no clue and had that deer in the head lights look. Not a single Kolache was warm, all had to be reheated. Coffee was cold and most had to be brewed. When served our Kolaches the server handed them to us on a previously used dirty tray. I fully understand having a new person working however they should be in back learning the product not up front with customers. I also understand being busy on Father’s Day, but that’s no excuse for being unprepared.

My wifes purse was stolen from Kolache Factory on April 29th around 1 pm (Overland Park, KS location). The staff acted as if they couldnt help and the camera/security system was disabled. There was only 1 other customer on premises when we left (without the purse). After returning 3 minutes later, the purse was gone and we received no effort from the staff/employees to find revolve. Its safe to say that we will never eat at or support Kolache Factory again.

The food is good but something happened with service at this location. 1) they arent aarming them enough or at all without asking. 2( Servers rushing you to sit and spend time texting.Disapointed.too bad...I will have to check out other location to see if better.

I can closer to closing time and the older gentleman who took my order was a little temperamental. I understand that they were about 40 minutes to closing time I was quite uncomfortable with the unfriendly attitude I was getting. I would probably not return.

It was my first time and the BBQ Kolache was very tasty! The only downside is that there were no other customers and there were limited places to sit because they weren’t cleaned off. The floors also had liquids and needed mopped. Otherwise the food is good.

I had been wanting to try this for years now and when I finally did yesterday, I was so disappointed! The taste wasn’t anything special and there was sooooo much breading (or dough) around everything. I know that’s what a Kolache is, but I was not a fan. The sausage one had a tiny little sausage inside and a fist size of dough around it. I won’t be going back.

We love to try new things and this is one we are glad we did! The staff was friendly and the food was amazing!

We have been coming to this location for many years. We have noticed a steady decline & today really made us stop & think. Filthy floors, filthy tables, filthy restrooms. Half eaten food sitting out where employees were apparently folding boxes. Uncooked bacon in our bacon, egg & cheese kolache. We hope soneone takes note.

Favorite to go breakfast place. Expensive but you get top quality products and the best biscuits and gravy stuffed inside bread (kolache) making it less messy to eat on the run. Truly a family fave.

Went to Kolache factory today, and when I walked in, all 4 employees and manager were sitting at a table hanging out. We were not greeted whatsoever. One employee stood up to take our order, however it was clear they did not want to serve us. The food was cold, even after asked to be warmed up, and it was more difficult than necessary to get simple condiments such as salsa. Normally happy with the service here, but today was absolutely horrible and I will not be returning.

Its good, but pricey. Service is decent, but make sure to check your bag to make sure you got everything you ordered.

Terrible experience. Ordered day prior for 8:30 am pick up, I arrived 8:25, received order at 9:05. No apologies, lots of excuses, poor customer service attitude. Disappointing.

Inconsistent kolaches, sometimes they are baked just right, but Ive had several times when the bread hasnt been baked all the way through. If you want your kolaches warmed up, I suggest you do it yourself. I usually get about 10-12, and when I ask then to warm them up, they put them in the microwave for 30 seconds, which doesnt do much at all. Also, the coffee is terrible. Have had a few good experiences here which is the only reason they get 2 stars.

Worst place possible to pick up an order which you called 1 hour ahead, they still make you wait 30-45 mins once show up to pick up your order. Also no concept of hygiene, the cashier is picking her nose and handling my food, disgusting***
