Service and experience at auto parts stores can be incredibly varied. I went there tonight with my truck to check the battery. The team member was polite, knowledgeable and eager to help. Keep up the great work!

Car was having a sluggish start so I stopped by to have the battery tested to no surprise it was not putting out enough crank amps to start... Offered multiple battery options and didnt try to upsell after I made my choice. Same employee took the old one out, put the new one in, actually used dialectic grease on the terminals before reconnecting it. Have seen other places, maybe was the employee from other places that didnt know to do that, but the guy at Advance was well versed on how to properly do it. Thanks again.

I dont typically write reviews often, but the exceptional experience at this Advance Auto Parts made me feel compelled to recognize the employees that helped me. Ray and Sobir were very helpful, proactive, and provided me with the correct part that I needed, and at a reasonable price. Awesome guys. This went above and beyond my expectations.

Went in to buy a cabin filter for my car the young man who helped me was very rude. Being an older woman who has lost her husband and have to learn how to do stuff Ive never had to do, as I explained to the young man who seemed to not give a hoot about helping me! I expect a little help in situations like this! Not someone who acts like he was inconvenience to assist me! Would not buy from this company if it was the last auto parts store in Overland Park, Ks!

I visited this location and requested assistance with some questions I had on car coolant. I am not a car person and generally feel stupid when I ask questions. But Ray was very patient and answered all of my questions with thorough explanations. I will definitely go back when I have car questions or need to buy auto parts/materials.

These guys are great. Ive bought tons of things here for 5+ years. Pretty much a regular customer at this point Haha. They have a decent selection of detailing products and they always have the fluids I need to keep my car topped off. Would recommend!

I purchased a battery for my daughters car and was charged an additional $18.00 for a core charge. The sales associate told me to bring back the old battery and receipt and they would refund me the core charge. I told the sales associate that my daughter would be one bringing the battery back. My daughter returned with the battery and receipt and was told that they couldnt refund her the money without the card that was used to make the purchase. She told them to just give her cash and they refused. If this is the only way they are able to make refunds then customers need to be informed when they make purchases. This is a huge inconvenience to customers and unnecessary waste of peoples time.

The new battery worked just for a month, Went to this store, got help in seconds, the staff is very helpful. Were able to check the battery and replaced quickly!

Ordered a battery on line, was ready in just a few minutes. Staff was ready to drop it in for me and was on the road in 15-20 mins. Perfect experience.

Normal auto parts store but they have a wide selection of parts and accessories. The store is clean and well stocked. The gentleman that helped me was knowledgable and recommended a good window washer fluid brand. Will return when I’m out!

This Store Sucks I was jus in there an had a front light out. Neither one of the guys were doing anything, he asked how he could help me an I told him that I needed a light an the year, make an model of my car an asked if either one of them could help me because I was on my way to work an this lazy bum told me to you tube it... Really??? I even asked him if they had tools I could use an he said he didnt know what tools I needed, it would have been great customer service to come out to the car with me to see what tools I needed. Then when I went back in the store to get there tools he makes a remark an say, dont stab nobody. Ill go to any other store than that one horrible customer service Ben T.👎👎

The service at this location has always been great! Also they have an oil and coolant disposal service free of charge which is convenient as well.

Very helpful and we collaborated in how to better outfit the Jeep for small emergencies, and storage of non-critical but necessary small replacement parts.

I tried to return couple of things with receipt and in original packing and they still asked too many questions and made me feel like i used them before return.One was 3M sand paper, the old guy with black T Shirt and STU printed on it asked me, have you use it? .... i replied no i havnt, its in original packing and then he started inspecting the packing weirdly and while trying to peak inside he tore it. Finally he said it has a line on sand paper and i said really !!! You just made it. He returned it in the end but i mean who does like that. Some thing similar happened when i returned a car polish. I would try to buy things from walmart which is more cheaper and easy to return.

As a mechanic, I have a commercial account with them, and they always treat me great. I go to the ones at 87th and blue Ridge, 350 highway, and at Truman corners off 71 hwy. Always great service, and they are always eager to help.

Not to reiterate all the same reviews, but...Im on a budget and had a slight bumper mishap last weekend, nothing huge but I seriously appreciate how honest these guys are. 50 bucks to fix some plastic hanging down and paint some scratches that had been there for a couple years. Super easy, nothing complicated, but he fixed it all up in about half an hour and sent me on my way. Even offered to apply the 50 to the future if i decide to go hardcore and repaint the bumper. Its not rocket science, but I appreciate them keeping it as easy and simple as possible. Emailed, got a call back within half an hour, and was in the next day.Thanks!!

Disrespectful place. Said theyd check my alternator even though it was late and I waited. Then they locked the doors and when I called them they hung up on me. Dont go here if possible. If someone says they are going to do something they should and not hang up on a customer who asked for help.
