This place is wonderful. I have covid and the owner was very kind and took my order over the phone for what I needed from the market and took my payment over the phone and brought it to me. I will never be able to repay this kindness and will never shop anywhere else

This is a humble Middle Eastern grocery store but has excellent quality items and a warm wonderful welcoming owner, Rashid. Hell make you feel at home and always has a smile on his face. You cant just stop by, spend 3 minutes and leave. You need to take your time here and get to know the place. Its a small market but if you keep looking you find more and more. I used to come here when I was living in KC back in 2010. They closed the restaurant and kept the grocery store.I bought amazing quality fancy tea trays, Turkish crystal tea cups, 4 L sturdy stainless steel tea pot, gorgeous brass mortar and pestle and a lot more from here. Now I can make my coffee and tea in peace. Nowhere in the US I found orange colored cactus flower fruits except here. I love this fruit. He sells halal meats and chicken here. The produce is fresh and reasonably priced.If you havent tried Sultan black gold drink, you should. Its a black seed, honey and ginger drink. Very interesting.The place needs renovation a little. But its functional and has the good character the owner gives. Because quality is consistent, I come here regularly and walk out with a smile, hence the 5 stars.

This place is always fantastic. The employees are always super kind and genuinely helpful. Its the only place I go for my Arabic and Persian needs.

Selection is pretty good. Its kind of disorganized and some of the jars and cans are visibly dusty. It really cant be considered as tidy, but its not gross. Its just a modest market that I never feel uncomfortable in. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I like coming here from time to time to get some stuff I cant get at the major grocery store. But I probably couldnt do my main grocery shopping here.

I have been visiting Shahrazad since the opening. The food is excellent. The lunch buffet is very good, but I usually get a shawirma sandwich. Here is a tip. Order the sandwich Kareem. It costs $1 more, but they make it with a very huge but thin pita. You get almost double the amount and it is delicious. Its a family restaurant, so the servers are part of the family, so it could be hit or miss. The owner though is very customer friendly and a joy to be around. I recommend this place.

Im not a frequent shopper of Middle Eastern groceries, but Shahrazad has a great selection of products. I especially enjoy Greek food, so those are the main supplies I buy. But other countries cuisine intrigues me, too. Great selection of spices, and fresh petas. Thank you.

They offer local & halal meat. In the marketplace, there is a large selection of cheese. If you are lactose intolerant, I recommend checking out their cheese section as they have plenty of goat cheese. The kebabs are delicious and the bread is always fresh.

I come here to buy a few specialty items, like Valbresso, cucumbers and the bread. All excellent and when they had the cafe the Shwarmas were delicious and we would come at least once a week just for the Shwarmas. The owner is kind as well.

We went here for brunch a few days ago. Absolutely loved the food. We had falafel, beans, a mixed veggie plate, hummus, a few other items, and what was basically an endless supply of pita! We had some amazing hot tea afterwards. We were well taken care of. Id recommend this place to anyone.

Please never go and eat at this restaurant. *** Rest is your choice ***.. Its the behavior and treatment more than the food that makes me write this review. I usually do not write reviews but I had to in this case... Not that the food was any great... Was bland, tasteless and the quantity was so less..They had a beautiful looking girl as a server but was just rude in her behavior. Ordered 2 platters worth $14 each and some side of kabobs.. I had to remind 4 times for one hot sauce. Later we got a green paper bill which had a total with no details. When I asked for details she said Is there any problem with the bill. I said I need to know the break down of the bill NOT just the total. She went in and brought another lady server who asked the same question What is the problem.. No mention of sorry anywhere in her words or expression once I got the details of the bill..I had gone in to eat lunch and they just ruined it due to their arrogance which I could see in their behavior and face reading.

I love the food and service here- its my favorite place for Middle Eastern food. The food is fresh, delicous and inexpensive. Ive had Shwarma, falafel, hummus, bread, kabobs...all very good. Ive taken family and friends there and they have all loved it too. I would definitely recommend it.
