I needed my battery for my iPhone 8 replaced apples website sent me to the closest place for a certified tech to fix, drove 45 minutes to Oswego Best Buy and I get there and was told they didn’t have any batteries for my iPhone 8 luckily they recommended dr gadget he had the battery replaced and fixed within an hour, charged it for me, and it was very reasonably priced. The guy who helped me was super polite and helpful. I highly recommend going there for tech issues

The nicest guy ever! My phone screen was cracked and since its an android thats not super popular they had to order the part. He was fast, super responsive and made sure my phone worked before I paid for the rest, even ordering an additional part before I paid the balance and the cost was so reasonable compared to others. This is the only place well go to for repairs from now on.

Excellent service and looked good until the glass cover that cost an extra $20 cracked. It was replaced for $10 and I appreciate that some things are unexpected. In this case, the phone cover also cracked so the glass cover didnt stop damage to the inside cover. Now I wonder why the extra $20 was helpful.

I had a strange brown residue in the charger port preventing my Mac from charging, and I brought it in and the guys down there cleaned it out for free for me! Very helpful, professional, and fair. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I have also had iPhone screens repaired here as well. These guys are the best! If you need any sort of phone, tablet, or laptop repaired DEFINITELY bring it here first.

Exceptional customer service. “E” at the front counter helped me. He was amazing and did everything beyond. Came in the morning and he looked at it right away, told me if it’s fixable or not immediately and then gave me a price range right off the bat. Super cheap compared to going to Best Buy or the Apple store. I left my phone at the store for 5 hours while I went to work, when I came back it was back to new and everything was fixed. E was probably the best customer service representative that I could have gotten and I’m so thankful for the work he did on my phone!!!!! Great job Dr. Gadget

I brought my phone in because the speaker wasn’t working right. He knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it immediately. He was courteous and professional. And saved me from buying a new phone. I will definitely bring my electronics here again.

Avoid this place, try another. Had a screen repaired, the replacement had 2 cloudy strips behind the screen, that made me a little nervous, I noticed it the next day and called to tell them, hey Im nervous about this screen because the faint areas through the screen, but I cant see them when the screen is on, so no big deal, Ill keep it, but I also told him if something happens with this screen you gotta be understanding, because I am letting his slide right now, and you gotta help me out if something goes with this screen.(I should have made him replace it immediately). A few weeks later a digital green and red bar appeared through the middle, about a pixel wide, I said I can deal with this, no big deal, Im not going to cost them extra money over it. A few days later 52 red and green bars appeared thru gh the middle, well its unacceptable at that point because its unusable. I brought it in, they gave me attitude and fought me on it even though I had called him a few weeks prior and let him know this screen could potentially go bad. After a call with the owner, they agreed to fix the screen. The screen was replaced and before leaving store I told him the colors are off, the screen is completely dark with no contrast. I was pretty much done with these people at that point. I said to him well what can I expect, it was a broken phone, should have just replaced it and not messed with screens, I guess his is the best I am going to get and I let it go. Low and behold a week later the green and red digital bars appeared again, slightly offset from center of the screen. So I am done with these people. Either they are incompetent, or they are buying cheap after market parts that go bad. Done.

Stop looking around to repair your phone, or tablet go to Dr. Gadget in Oswego. E was very helpful, knowledgeable, and does professional work and he is certified. I went to other repair shops for my Galaxy Note 10+ and was told its beyond repair or that they would try to repair it and quoted me $200 more. I went to Dr. Gadget. Not only was he polite and sincere he was able to fix my phone in less than 2 hours with no after market stuff. All original Samsung parts, and he added a screen protector for free. He also gave me a case for half price. Best customer service Ive ever received. My phone looks brand new, and works perfectly fine. E did a great job. So stop searching, and just go to Dr. Gadget a certified technician that does professional work.

Had a broken screen on my Samsung S7 edge phone and no one else had the screen in stock. Called first and was very friendly and helpful on the phone. Was able to walk in soon after and have the screen replaced the same day for a fair price. Also gave a deal on replacing the battery at the same time. Works great after! Would definitely go back again if ever need phone repairs.

I have been here twice for my iPhone! First time: my charging port was fried! Took it in and they fixed it fast! They also told me my battery was draining fast and showed me how to help improve the battery life! Gave me a price, an ETA to be done. Process was smooth!Second time I came was today! I came in because my screen was black! I can hear my notifications coming in so I knew my phone was still somewhat alive! Came in he took a look at it said he can fix it! I was expecting to be told itll be ready for pickup tomorrow- or Monday----As I walked in a little before 5:30pm (closes @6pm) but he said he was staying a little late and he was willing to fix it. Sure enough! I came back around 6:10 and it was fixed! Had a screen protector thrown in at no additional costs! They are super great to work with! Prices are reasonable and definitely get the job done! I havent had an issue with my charging port and Im confident that my screen will be fine!

I walked in after giving Dr. E a call about three family phones that needed repairs (Samsung Note 5, iPhone 6s, and an iPhone 11). Went to Dr Gadget to see what could be done about the short in my iPhones charging port. They replaced the port in less than an hour and they were very cost effective compared to other estimates that I got. Extremely satisfied.

Never had a bad experience here. Went in several times for phone repairs. always interact with Ain who is incredibly friendly and helpful and goes out of his way to explain exactly what they have to do, what they can do, what the best option is (even if it means going to the Apple Store) and how much it will cost. If you are like me and never want to spring for the Apple Care when you buy a phone and then lament the cost when something brakes, this is the place for you. They dont overcharge for labor and do quality work, quickly, for a fair price!

As an AT&T rep I can not recommend Dr Gadget enough. We specialize in getting you the device but Mo at the Aurora location and E at the Oswego location will fix any single problem about your device. My store is unfortunately not a repair shop so when it comes to something the insurance wont cover or something simple like a screen, charging port, volume buttons or even the hard stuff these guys know exactly what to do and do it in a timely/efficient matter. I have had two visits to this store. One to replace my phone screen that was shattered and one to put put a new hard screen savers on. Each time before going I called and asked questions. The men working there (owners I believe) are always patient and informative. The work is done properly and in a reasonable amount of time. If they dont have something you need they order it for you. Previously I always looked for someone on the side that knew how to change screens bc it was always so expensive to fix phones well the first experience with private I thought I was happy but was told after the screen was fixed my home button would no longer work which I wast happy about but learned to live with well I smashed the phone again and decided to try at gadget and so happy Chris was amazing he not only fixed my shattered screen he was able to fix my home button too!!! It’s like a brand new phone I couldn’t be happier with the service and won’t use anyone else ever again

Honest and upfront.I had a swollen battery in my mobile device. Took it in and the man looked at it and came out with an estimate of about $40.Being that the device only cost $50 we both came to the conclusion that it wasnt a good thing to replace the battery at all. It would just be a waste of my money and their time.Best Buy (where I bought it from) told me to go all the way down to Joilet. Yeah, no thanks.If I ever have a problem with something Ill go here first.

Brought my Android Note 4 to Sprint a week ago because it wouldnt stay on, so I bought a new phone and because it wouldnt stay on they couldnt transfer all my info. Sprint recommended Dr Gadget in Oswego so I went over and talked with Ain, who after a day got it working and its still working and only charged me $30. Quick service, friendly staff, gave us a great deal on screen repair, temper glass and new case. My only downside is the new screen is a refurbished one and it gives my screen a greenish hue that it originally didn’t have, but better than having a cracked screen. Would use again.

Quick, good and reasonably priced service. Ive had iPhone screens replaced and a lightening connector replaced. They were courteous, fair and they did a nice job.

I took my tablet in for a cracked screen repair. Ain (I hope I have his name right) assured me they could fix it no problem. It was only a cracked screen, no damage to the tablet functionality. He explained everything to me, gave me my options and I made payment. My tablet was done in the timeframe he gave me. I picked it up and everything looked fine until I opened a screen with a white background such as an internet page or the settings screen. There were ghosted images all around the screen edges which distorted the view and gave me a headache seconds into looking at it. Ain was more than willing to try to fix this for us. So we dropped the tablet back off to him. Admittedly I was worried that they wouldn’t be able to fix it and I’d be out of a tablet so I began searching for my new replacement. This tablet was barely a year old. Every option was at lest $600 (it has cellular) and I was not happy about that. I started feeling impending doom. The call came. Ain told me he was unable to get rid of the ghosting and had to replace the whole display unit (an expensive repair). He assured me they would take care of this at no cost to me!!! Their customer service is impeccable and when they tell you you’ll be satisfied with the repair they mean it! This was my first experience with them and although the repair had an issue, they kept their word and saw the repair through to the finish! I will definitely go back there. The only reason I went to them in the first place was because of positive reviews I read so I definitely had to write one myself! I HIGHLY recommend them for any device repair you may need. Just in time for the holidays too! Rest assured they will take care of you! Thanks again Ain for everything!

What a perfect experience. I feel bad I forgot his name but the dude helping me was incredible and got my screen replaced in about an hour. Got a deal to begin with as they were running a special on iPhone 6 screens, but he also hooked me up with a free 30$ tempered glass screen protector.
