Had a decent experience with this dealership. They were very respectful of my time which was important to me. There was no pressuring into buying my vehicle and they gave me plenty of time to think through all of my decisions. Buying a new vehicle these days is tough but Chris and his team made it much easier. I love my new Buick and looking forward to see what else it has in store for me.

I had made an appt to look at a vehicle but when I arrived the salesman was not there. I live a great distance away and have very little time to spare. The manager understanding this took matters into his own hands and bent over backwards to make the deal to include giving the vehicle a complete detail job and delivering to my home 2 hours away while giving me a brand new loaner for the night. This is my second vehicle through Burritt my only complaint is they are so far from me.

Came in and asked for a pickup truck that could plow. Was put in a Ram 1500 express. Was too excited and didnt do my research. Didnt realize that it cant and shouldnt take a plow. Thats on me. Salesman was helpful and professional. However, as far as customer service goes Im sort of furious. They only want to sell you a car and get rid of you. Rather than saying, look we dont have anything currently that youre looking for but give me some time and we will hook you up. I guess its buyers remorse but this experience will last with me and everyone I know forever. I cant willingly send someone there to get a car. Now Im stuck with a vehicle that wont serve its full purpose. Very disappointed. Oh and when someone buys a vehicle from you give them a free tank of gas. Ive never in my life seen anything like this.

I recently leased a new Traverse from Chris Capone at Burritt Motors. This is the 3rd lease we have had with them, and every single time they are professional and courteous. Chris went out of his way to find a vehicle that had the features we wanted, which was not easy given the shortage of vehicles at this time. I use the dealership for all our service and maintenance, and I am always happy with the fast and friendly help. Completely inept service department. Had a major engine issue on brand new Tahoe. Service team didn’t offer much help when explained I wasn’t comfortable driving vehicle there. I promptly called another dealer who helped get Onstar team on phone and vehicle was picked up shortly thereafter.

I bought a vehicle in January through a nice gentleman. I was able to complete the deal in roughly one day, which was close to ideal. However, my experience since then has not been favorable. Ironically, it is not the vehicle Im displeased with, but the excessive e- mail communications from the dealership in the wake of my purchase.Although service and generating future sales is important to them, bombarding customers with e- mails could be counterproductive to their goals. Therefore, I respectfully ask that they be mindful of this. I respect those who respect my time.Thank you!

I had a service appointment for 2:30 and was there over 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation (which they did not do). Every time I bring my vehicle for service there is an incredibly long wait even with an appointment and then they never do what I asked to have done. I will not bring my vehicle there again for service ever!

The technicians at Burritt Motors were pleasant to work with. I had a Volt, and due to the times were in, Ive had to part with it. But before that, the technicians took my Volt in the next day after I called to make a service appointment because my Volt was not operating. Ive called to other dealers in the area, and they were a month or so out before they could even look at it (but not Burritt!) They were honest when I called to inquire what was wrong with the vehicle and, kept me posted where they stood with their diagnostics. In the future, I would go to Burritt for my other car needs. They keep illegally unloading their cars in the road. No flaggers, no cones... I thought and hoped that when they built the bigger lot that they would stop unloading in the road but nope. I almost got hit head on the last time they unloaded in the road. I messaged them on Facebook and got 0 response. The next time I see it I will just report the truck to NYDOT and call the state police.

I had a good buying experience, service however is terrible. I had my truck towed in for a bad starter, a truck that I just bought 2 ½ months ago. Fortunately I purchased a warranty. My appointment for service was at 3 pm on Monday, at 4 pm I called for an update. I was told they hadnt gotten it in yet and was assured that he would touch base with me before they closed. That didnt happen. I called the next morning and was told they still hadnt brought it in yet. I was told I will personally call you back within the hour. Again that didnt happen. Almost 3 hours later I was called back and it was confirmed that it was in fact the starter and that they would have it finished in a couple hours. 3 more hours passed and I decided to call again for an update. I was told the tech that was working on it was out to lunch and he would call me back when he was back in the building. I was called back and was told it will be done within 2 hours and that I was now priority number one. 3 hours later when they called me to tell me it was done, I was informed that there would be a charge that wasnt covered under the warranty. I asked what the charge was, and he said that it was a labor charge of $42.00 for pushing my truck into the bay. I honestly thought it was a joke. When I expressed my frustration he quickly removed the charge. I will be bringing my vehicles to another dealer from now on.

He gave me a great price and made everything so easy he also got the passenger tire fixed without any hassle. I’m the type of individual who likes a no nonsense purchase. “This is what I’m looking for and this is what I’m willing to spend”. I was looking for a vehicle to replace my Escalade to drive to Florida. The vehicle I purchased (21’ Tahoe) was what I was looking for with all The creature comforts plus! I also was looking at the latest in technology that is being offered in high end vehicles. The Tahoe has more than met my expectations. It’s the first vehicle that I don’t have a problem driving when I can’t take my 2010 ZO6 😊. It has plenty of room for my golf clubs. The sales team also more than met my expectations. They were no nonsense, knowledgeable, informative and have continually reached out to me to see if I had any additional questions. From what I see, service going forward should also be a Good experience. It was a very pleasant buying experience and I am excited about my new Tahoe! Cheers Fran

Terrible experience, salesman Mike was super rude and clearly didn’t want our business, didnt seem to want to work with us, was rude with us on the price of my trade in my car isn’t spectacular however the price they gave me was insulting, it was $1600 less than ive been quoted other places and when we mentioned that he said very rudely and laughed in my face your fender has a crack in it, yes it does its however its plastic and its a crack its not hanging off nor does it impact the value of the car by $1600. He then started changing things in his computer and it came up with $5100 as soon as that occurred he TURNED HIS COMPUTER SCREEN so we couldn’t see it, I could still see it and he noticed and immediately closed the window. Mike then just stared at us and said thats what we’re offering even though it was CLEARLY not what my car is worth and he knew it and the fact that he even saw in his own system that my car was worth $5100 and just stared at us like we were all of a sudden not worth his time. Ive never been insulted like this in my life. Will NEVER do business with this dealership. Absolutely disgusted with how we were treated.

Well, I was going to just chalk it up and forget about my Burritt experience, but I got another email soliciting service for my truck. I detailed my issues with the dealership and the service department and asked to be removed form future correspondence. Today, on Christmas, I received another email. So I have made this review and included my previous email from last summer below. I do not recommend Burritt service. They are either liars or incompetent. I do not trust them at all. The salesman was great(Jack Cooley), but based on the service department I will not return for future business. I have also steered friends and family away from looking at vehicles the dealership had listed. Here is the email that I sent:“Dear Phil,There is very little chance that I will ever use Burritt for vehicle maintenance after the experience with purchasing my truck last year. Delivery of my truck was delayed for a couple weeks under the understanding that the brakes needed attention to pass inspection, which I was fine with at the time. Fast forward 3-4 months from purchase and the brakes felt soft and the stopping distance continued to degrade. I ended up purchasing all new brake pads and rotors around the first of the year. I replaced the components and flushed the brake fluid. It was obvious that neither the brake components nor the brake fluid had been touched just 8 months earlier by Burritt. This leads me to question, what if any brake work was actually done before my truck was delivered? Therefore, I have zero confidence in the Burritt service department. I cannot see myself purchasing another vehicles from your dealership either. As an aside, my son is looking for a truck and found one he was interested in at Burritt. I advised him to steer clear of your dealership based on my experience. You can remove me from all future email correspondence.Thanks,Heath Stickney “

What started out to be a good experience did not end up that way. The person who checked me in was very courteous and wearing a mask while dealing with me. I went to the waiting room where initially all the customers were wearing masks. However, I began to notice that a certain few employees were walking through with no masks. As I drifted to the showroom I noticed a worker waiting on two women completely maskless and with no plexiglass barrier. He was within 12 inches of their faces. When I asked a person who also wasnt wearing a mask, if masks were optional, he barked at me and said no they arent. He also said he was leaving. I asked about the worker without the mask and he hollered at the guy to put his mask on. Of course, once I left the area he would take it off and put it on when he saw me coming.My vehicle required an oil change and tie rotation. I made an appointment 4 days in advance. I arrived 15 minutes early and had to wait an hour and forty five minutes for the work to be done. This seemed excessive to me.As much as I want to support the local dealership and their employees, the majority of whom were following the correct COVID protocols, I doubt I will ever return to the dealership.

Absolutely horrible place to buy a vehicle from and worse to take it to. Terrible customer service. They will NOT get back to you. Had an issue with brakes and rotors, said theyd get back to me multiple times and did not. I had to keep calling them. Then we finally were able to make an appointment to have it looked at, took it there to be diagnosed and they were supposed to call us back and STILL there is zero response. This is not the first time something like this has happened to us here. Well be taking to another dealer from now on. I can guarantee you that if you have an issue with your vehicle and you take it here, you WILL have a terrible experience also. Worst customer service I have ever experienced anywhere. Avoid like the plague!

An unknown person smashed into my vehicle and broke the back tail light.I came in for the tail light unit to be replaced.When the appointment was scheduled, I was asked if I was going to wait, I asked how long it would take, the person asked someone and told me about 1/2 hour. So I said I was going to wait.When I arrived, I was asked if I was going to wait, I said yes. I was amazed that it actually only took about 1/2 hour!

I bought my 2018 Silverado there almost 2 years ago now and the sales experience was great. They were super easy to work with. I live 40 minutes away from the dealership and decided that I would take my truck back for its first oil change because it was free. The service team there was excellent and I really couldnt be happier. So much so that I drive back the 40 minutes whenever I need maintenance done on my truck.

Less than one star- we verbally contracted to purchase a vehicle - was assured that we did not need to put a deposit to hold as we had an appointment first thing in the morning. The vehicle was sold by a manager 2 hours after they had closed for the night. Showed up for our appointment- first of the day from 50 miles away- sorry the vehicle sold in the night- verbal agreement doesnt hold as it was sold by THE manager.Insist on a deposit if youre really interested- though that may not even be enough with the way they seem to operate. Private nighttime deals by the manager will override you.

After working with the salesman for a few days we finally settled on a car that I was dead set on getting. I got the approval yesterday. He tells me what my down payment and monthly payments would be. At 9am this morning he contacted me and said they were getting the car into get detailed and inspected so he gave me the go ahead to put the insurance on the car and he would be in contact soon for me to come pick it up. I waited around all day for a phone call just for the call to turn into something I didn’t want to hear. He informed me that I in fact wasn’t approved for that car but they got me approved for a similar car but it’s a downgrade with more miles. Why would you get someone approved for a vehicle that they did not give you the okay to do in the first place? They don’t want to do anything for me even after I offered them a cash price on the car I wanted. Very frustrating and a disappointing experience. So much for supporting a local dealership. Next time I will go out of my way to avoid Burritt motors!!

I had a very terrible experience, it has been one problem after another. I have only just had the 2017 Jeep Compass 30 days now literally my first bill is just coming up! I do not recommend this dealership. The service department was the worst I have ever dealt with I literally had to show them where my Jeep was leaking because they thought I was lying, I was treated so badly by the lady in service I was shocked please think twice before you buy your car/suv/truck here. The salesman was very nice but ran a car I didn’t ask for then would not send the bank an suv I picked out convinced me to get the one I did not like! So it has been an experience I don’t ever want to deal with again. To top it off the engine is randomly misfiring and believe me when I say I’m not bringing it back to that service department in Oswego!

These people are scam artists. They took advantage of us when our trucks transmission went out, sold us a truck that had super high mileage and would not honor the right to rescind. The vehicle front end shakes like it is falling apart one day after purchase. They also quoted us one price on and when the time came to sign AFTER the insurance had been applied and we spent hours at the dealer they changed the price. Avoid these dirtbags like the plague... especially Vince.
