I love Michaels. The store was clean. They had the items I was looking for. Cashier was pleasant. Enjoyable visit.

Lily was super friendly and engaging at the register especially for all the trouble i put her through accidentally at the register during closing time. She was super sweet and took her time to make sure i was satisfied with my visit, and asking me what i was going to do with the items i had purchased.

Please avoid this Michaels location after 3pm. The Management at this location is a joke. The main one is Julie. She is never friendly, always avoids customers, and takes forever when she is called to the front to assist the cashiers. Most importantly she is never professional! Every encounter that Ive had with her is absolutely horrible.I have been in management for 32 years and each visit to Michaels is a disaster. Ive heard the management team speak to the other employees which are teenagers with no respect. I believe the store managers name is Shannon and she is not friendly either.For example, I asked her a question regarding an item that I needed and she directed Julie to assist me. So shes not helpful either.Julie came from the back of the store - slow paced and dragging as if she didnt want to be there. No enthusiasm and the said to me - how can I help? I advised Julie of what I needed and immediately she said that they were out of stock without even checking. She stated, oh another customer just asked for the same item. I told her, Thanks and kept walking towards the area for the yawn. There was the the tool that I was looking for sitting right there. I said wow. I wish corporate would get better management at this location as it seems the two they have there are just lazy and unprofessional!

Put in an online order and showed up 2 hours later and they didnt have it finished. Then we get to the register where someone was just checked out and the cashier just walks off and leaves us standing there without saying a word. It didnt seem like anyone there knew what to do..

This Michaels always seems to be clean and have what we need. I find all of their stores to be under staffed though. Its kind of frustrating sometimes. I give them 5 stars because I know this affects the employees more than corporate.

They had exactly what I needed and had a better selection than the local hobby shop I normally go to. Their website will show you what particular aisle the product youre looking for is, which I absolutely love and wish more businesses did this.

Best place for your crafts needs

I love shopping their sales, and finding certain floral I cant find any where else! My only issue is with their price matching!! They have way to many restrictions about what the other ad says it has to be the exact yarn brand, colorway, size, and now really what ad has all that listed???? Well, Michaels not even your ad has all that information listed!!!

Its Michaels- what is there not to love? The store is organized and clean. It has absolutely all of your crafting needs! If you are looking for certain crystals 👀 you wont find many here, besides rose quartz and a couple others. The staff is kind and courteous. Plus the 40% discounts are always amazing!✨

Very busy, but running smoothly.

Update: once again (in less than a year) they tell me a coupon policy is different than before. In the past I’ve been able to use one Michaels’ coupon AND one Joann’s coupon as long as they were for different amounts off. Today I was told (very rudely) by a manager (Shannon) and that only one percentage off a regularly priced item can be use per person. This is different that a different amount of percent. She rolled her eyes at me and said that I’ve been misunderstanding it, it hasn’t changed. In fact, this is different than what I’ve done for the last few months, so it is a change. (Or her employees haven’t understood it.). Regardless, she was rude AND Joann’s will accept both coupons at once - so they’ll get my business from now on. Besides, Joann’s selection is superior in most departments!September 2017:While I spend a pretty penny here on different crafting supplies, I was extremely disappointed when I tried to use the Labor Day 50% off coupon today on something that was NOT on sale and they told me that this item was no longer available for coupons because its price is now considered an everyday value price. That stinks. Shame on you Michaels. Ill do my best to utilize Joanns coupons strategically from now on to avoid this policy.

I have been in love with this store for awhile now. I gladly drive the 3 hours to come here just for the various things I can get here, but if that isnt enough for most people then you should check out the customer service representatives in this store! Wonderful if I could give more 🌟 I would!

Michaels always has a pretty decent selection of everythinggg for your basic crafting needs; they have great kits for younger kids and you can always find a coupon for around half off... Much better than Jo anns; Michaels sells fabric online FYI.

Words cannot describe my love for Michaels. Everytime I need something, anything, Michaels has been there for me. I go often, I drag my boyfriend there and he and j will spend an ENTIRE AFTERNOON at Michaels. You want yarn? Have 100000 options for yarn. You want flowers? Have 10000 different types of the same daisy. You want a slab of wood with some eat pray love saying on it? THEY HAVE IT. Peep the rewards, friends. Treat yourself at Michaels.

Kind of a hit or miss for staff helpfulness. Theyre either all over you or you cant find anyone. Huge selection though, its always my first place to check for crafting supplies and they always have some sort of coupon out. Super clean too, kudos to cleanliness and everything being in its rightful place

If you need print making or leather working supplies go to Hobby Lobby. Otherwise their stock of craft and art supplies is great. Usually hard to find someone if you have a question though.

Recently took a celebrity signed poster in to get framed. John handled my poster and wow, not only was he absolutely beyond professional and fantastic to work with. But the final product looks incredible, if you ever need anything framed you should have absolutely no worries about taking it here. This store was very full and hard to get around all the stuff in the aisles. Had a hard time finding where to go to get to the register. Many boxes just all over the floors. Gave it four stars just because they do have alot of product.

For someone with 10 thumbs, how do I always manage to use all my coupons and carry out bags of stuff??? Christmas is here and Im a goner!!! Also a photographer, so the best choice of frames! And a baker. With all the wonderful Wilton things, Im doomed!!! Michaels is the best store ever!!!

Michaels is a great place I was looking for some birthday presents for a 13 year old boy and I found a rocket that is set off by baking soda and vinegar I believe he liked the present and those store was very nice clean well organized

Great place for crafts. Even though I rarely find what Im looking for here, I always find other things I forgot about. I really wished they had NFC payment options, as I sometimes dont carry a wallet, but thats no deal breaker.

Had a frustrating experience checking out at this location today. A new employee was on register, but clearly did not know how to ring up or take payment, and had no one helping her learn. My order was $12 over what it was supposed to be when totaled, so I requested to start over and offered to help Sofia count the items. When she was asking how to void the transaction, the girl supposedly training/ mentoring her, Sara, did not offer to come over to help. I told her it should be started over and she asked another employee to help, pointedly stating I wanted it completely started over. The additional employee was very kind and gave the new employee tips on scanning. Once the items were all scanned, she went back to her work. Sofia then was unsure how to take a check, scan a check, or enter a total for a check. She asked the girl next to her and she did not offer to come show her. At this point I asked who was supposed to be helping her and Sara responded rudely, I am but I have not had a chance to do so yet because I have customers. (It was 10:30 am on a Wednesday... not very busy at all). The whole transaction took almost 30 minutes to ring up. I told Sofia to stand up for herself in training- it is not her fault that she is new and unfamiliar with a new system! Very poor training and management!

I really like what Michaels has to offer, but Im always a bit confused by what my coupons are good for... No sale items. Only frames. Everything is on sale aside from this this and this. Confusing.

I signed up for a crochet class with 3 other people and the instructor was a no show. I was reimbursed for the class, but I lost 2 hours out of my evening wasting my time to go there. The craft room was also covered in glitter, so if youre looking to go home glitter free, you may want to skip out, it doesnt look like they vacuum or clean room very often. Luckily I found another class with a local business.

Lots of fun craft items at a decent price, and the store was very clean and organized. PS. I recommend getting the app itll really help you save.

Ive had two presents for over a year that are still in perfect condition. I have lost the receipts, however. I called Michaels in Oswego and they told me all they needed to do is swipe my credit card and they could find my receipt. I would get every penny I paid for them! Awesome job, Michaels. I am now a lifelong customer.

Hard to find a staff member but when I did she was nice. Turned out they didnt have the paint pen I was looking for but she was knowledgeable about the other options and steered me in the right direction.
