A great store! They may be smaller then the big box stores but they’re results are better! You know the staff and the owner & trust their opinions. I highly recommend them to anyone!!

Reasonable prices, and good hours for business. I tried to order lumber from Interstate and I couldnt get anyone on the phone, was bounced around, left a message and didnt get a return call etc. Home Depot didnt even list the plywood I wanted online and didnt answer the phone for an order.I found Melrose online and called. I had never heard of them before. Within 5 minutes I had placed my order with exactly what I wanted. They delivered first thing the next morning on were 15 minutes early! The quality of the lumber was excellent and the boards did not have any imperfections or chips. The delivery driver was pleasant and helped moved the lumber into my garage. In and out in 5 minutes.If I every have to order lumber again I would only use Melrose for their service and quality. A+ and thank you.

My experience at Melrose could not have been any better! Chip and the rest of Melrose staff were knowledgable, helpful and kind. On finding out I was working on a community improvement project, the Melrose staff made it clear to me they were committed to helping the community through how they supported and treated me.They bent over backwards to make sure all aspects of what I needed were complete, and were overall extremely accommodating of any issues that I had.It was evident to me that the only thing that surpassed kindness here was a dedication to providing quality products and service to customers!

They are always helpful in reviewing lumber and trim options for projects. For larger home projects on a budget I wouldnt necessarily get everything here (you know the places that are cheaper). But for specialty dimensions, smaller projects or just plain helpful service, I dont mind paying a little extra here.
