Bergstrom VW is the best VW parts resource on the planet and Ricky is the superstar. I purchased a 2003 Rialta RV on a Eurovan and Ricky has gone out of his way to hunt down obsolete parts with success and speedy service. He is knowledgeable, kind, and pays great attention to detail. Scheduled a service appointment a week in advance and told them exactly what I needed done. Took my car in and get a call 2 hours later that they dont have the parts to do the repair. In the week between scheduling the appointment and the day of the appointment they never bothered to order the necessary parts. Complete waste of time.

From start to finish, buying a car at Bergstom was a great experience! Joel was super helpful, and made the process smooth - even when we were there late and kept him past closing. Made an appointment online through there website. The dealer had the mileage, make, model, year of the vehicle, as well as my personal information. I selected the service (oil and filter change) that I would need at the appointment.First thing they asked, prior to even meeting the service representative- here for an oil change and tire rotation. Talk about an up front pricing aka bait and switch.Then we go to the service desk office where he requests the personal information (name, address, email address, phone number) which I had already submitted on the website. He tells me the oil change was going to be $95.00. Even though online the service I reserved was for $79.99.I had to show him my phone of the reservation for him to honor the price.Such a lack if integrity, honesty, and genuine care. This starts with leadership and culture- really disappointed in the tactics that were used. Behavior is everything and actions speak louder than words- up front pricing- is just a cover to make customers feel like they can trust Bergstrom- their actions speak otherwise.

We just Purchased a brand new Tiguan from Bergstrom VW. We dealt with Jemal and Joel. Both were friendly and super knowledgeable. The Tiguan we decided on buying wasn’t on the lot yet but Bergstrom was super communicative about estimated time of arrival, when it did arrive and when the PDI was completed on it. We ended up being able to pick it up as soon as it was ready. I would highly recommend the Oshkosh VW team.

I submitted a request on their website for information on some accessories and parts for my Jetta.Sales person that responded was not interested in helping me out, told me their service phone number in a reply.Asked again for him to have the service/parts team respond back and was he told me that he figured it would be easier to have me work with service and provided no information.He wasnt getting a sale thus had no interest in helping a customer.Dont waste your time.

The service provided was a complimentary tire rotation and brake inspection. Cindi met me as I drove in and began a routine inspection of my Atlas. She explained what was going to be done, had me sign paper work and directed me to the lounge to wait for my vehicle. In the meantime, I received a text from Cindi indicating that she would be available to answer any questions. When the service was completed Cindi explained what had been done, gave me some recommendations for tires and the car had been washed, a pleasant surprise. All in all, the service experience was a very positive one and Cindi was very professional.

We were very disappointed in the service we received. We are looking for a specific vehicle, which they did not have. They made it very clear that they have close ties with other dealerships and they would be able to get us the vehicle we’re looking for. Unfortunately, we waited all week for them to tell us they are unable to get the vehicle we want and it is a difficult vehicle to find. Even though I found multiple vehicles at different dealerships that met everything we’re looking for. Do your research as well. They quoted us for a vehicle and I was able to find the exact same vehicle for significantly cheaper. We will be going to a different dealership. Very dissatisfied and I would not recommend.

We had an excellent experience with the the entire Bergstrom team, lead by our salesperson Julie Yap. She was particularly thoughtful, thorough with a high attention to detail, and a genuine concern for happy customers.Everyone deserves recognition for their professionalism and gentle demeanor, making every phase of the process relaxed and enjoyable.Purchasing a new car should be fun – through Bergstrom it most definitely was. Sadly, through other dealers, that hasn’t always been our experience. As soon as we reenter the market for an additional car theyll be our first call.

We just purchase a car from Volkswagen dealership in which the Sales Guy Tommy helped us a lot. Hes very knowledgeable. First day, very friendly staff except for the service. It seems they keep missing things when fixing the first issue.The first night we took it home, we found out the left signal didnt turn off when you turn. We have to get it fixed. Than we realize the car didnt came with any mats. We assume it came with under the plastic; however, Tommy helped and got us the mats which was great. Next the power window on the driver side didnt work, but the other three works.When I brought the car in, nobody assisted until one of the works told me to go to the service side. A female worker came out and assisted and stated that she have a migraine, Im assuming she went to CUSA and was hungover. She gave me a rental car as I advise her that if they can fix it within an hour, I would stay. She tried to mess with the power window and gave me a rental; however, when I get to my job which is only locate about 5 mins later called and stated that it was fix.I drove back, and ask on how they fix it. She stated it wasnt something I could do, only they can.Just FY, its a brand new car. You would think we would be compensate for having our car at the shop two times and we the car less than a week with multiple issues.I only gave two stars due to all the issues; however, Tommy was the only one who insisted and was able to resolve our concerns. Tommy is the real MVP. He helped us as much as he was able to.

I spent 2 months researching cars and test driving to find the exact one I wanted. The first one I drove was at Bregstrom VW Oshkosh, a 2017 Toureg. I walked away because I wanted to try everything out there. 2 months later, I ended up right back there and bought that car.Shawn is a great salesperson, he didnt call me nonstop like the other dealerships did. He called me to notify me with price drops but was never pushy. This was a huge factor that led me back to VW Bergstrom. When there, the whole team worked with me to get me the deal I wanted! Thank you Shawn and company! I will definitely highly recommend you to everyone I know!

Overall I was pleased with bergstrom vw when we bought our 2019 atlas. They had a good price so we drove over an hour after calling to make sure they had it to test drive. I appreciate their no hassle pricing on buying and trade in so there is really no room for negotiation, but we thought their trade in was fair. At pickup we did notice a cracked tail light and we brought that back another day and they fixed it easily. There was some rubber mats and trunk liner on the internet listing that was supposedly a mistake, but after quite a bit of back and forth they did finally mail them to us. Wasnt sure for awhile if we would get them. My main complaint is that they snuck a prepaid maintenance program in the contract for $500 some. It looked like just some other fee until I asked specifically what it was. They had not mentioned it or asked us if we wanted it, and had I not noticed I would never know to bring my car in for the prepaid maintenance like oil changes and they would probably pocket that money. We were told it was for all the recommended service at 10k, 20k, and 30k miles. So maybe worth it at that point, we went with it so we didnt have to redo that paperwork. We couldnt get info about the program for weeks, they were supposed to email us info etc. Turns out it is only for at 10k and 20k miles-probably not worth it. We were misinformed (intentionally? Probably?)Other than that they get 4.5 stars. Our sales person derek was great, everything else was pretty easy and we love the car. But I dont like sneaky tactics. Check your sales agreement carefully, I didnt see that one coming.

Curteous office and associate staff but I paid thousands of dollars to have their master technician misdiagnose, replace unnecessary parts, and put my car back together unprofessionally without fixing the issues at hand. if they would have properly road tested the vehicle before handing it back they wouldve found their solutions were not accurate and they wouldve found the seat belt they forgot to remount ( I got in the car to leave and found my seatbelt still disassembled!!!! ) now my car is at their sister store and now its been 4+ months without solutions, delays, and more unavailable techs ....... Id expect more then a sorry from this whole situation.

I traded in my 2017 Subaru for a Volkswagen Alta due to size. Jordan Leagjeld was my sales associate for both purchases. His personal interest and concern for my satisfaction started at Hello. ( the reason I returned to him).I was very excited that Bergstrom had started a new selling concept that gives you the lowest, competitive price without any hassle or debate. The price listed on all the cars is their best deal. It took the stress completely away, and all in one afternoon I traded in my car and drove home in my new Volkswagen Atlas! I will be sure to share Bergstroms new sales style with friends and family, and highly recommend Jordan Leagjeld as their sales consultant.

I highly recommend buying a Volkswagen, but not from Bergstrom. I bought my Jetta about a year ago now from Bergstrom. Firstly, I kept getting call after call about “signing new paperwork because they were able to get a lower interest rate for me”. That was a lie. Originally I just didn’t care to go back down to the dealership for a .01% difference in interest. Come to find out a month later when they showed up at my house threatening to take the car back, they had filled out all my financing paperwork wrong so it was denied by VW Credit. Bergstrom’s excuse? “I never bought the car. All my paperwork was preliminary.” Way to push the blame on your customers and lie to their face. If that wasn’t enough, I went to renew my plates almost a year later only to find out they never did the plate transfer correctly either! Imagine the mess if something were to happen only to find out my car didn’t even have plates registered to the car! How can you be in the business of selling cars if you can’t fill out purchasing paperwork correctly or even do a plate transfer correctly? Even worse, how can you make up lies and blame these mistakes on your customers? Cars are very large investments and you won’t be seeing my business again.

My daughter brought her BRAND NEW 2017 Volkswagon Jetta in because she didnt think the rear defroster was working and they charged her $126 to tell her it was. They told her it was because it was so cold out side it was unable to keep up. Who does this???? I would NOT trust them!

My vehicle was at Bergstrom for 25 days for a warranty issue. The excessive length of stay excuses ranged from head mechanic is on vacation to we didnt know wed have so many recalls to the oldie but goodie, waiting for parts. Had asked on three separate occasions for a loaner or courtesy vehicle since none of the excuses given to me about the delays were my problem. Alas, in the end, I was credited for 3 days from Volkswagen to have a loaner vehicle for the warranty repair. Bergstrom gave me...absolutely nothing for the other 22 days. Wow, what service! No rental vehicle, no courtesy vehicle. Instead, I got to spend $600+ of my own money for vehicle rentals (I still had to go to work after all) while they came up with a different excuse each week not to take care of me. Meanwhile my wifes dealership was giving her a courtesy vehicle for three hours when she got an oil change and tire rotation! Obviously, the bar is set very, very low for Berstrom customers. I am extremely, off-the-charts disappointed with Bergstrom VW since up until now theyve been ok.

My girlfriend had an appointment at this location for a heater core to be put in during 9° weather in November. We live in Waupaca and work in Oshkosh so we did everything we could to fit to their schedule to make sure her car would have heat during the winter. Drove all the way there for the 8 oclock appointment and I followed because they said they have would have no loaner cars to lend out. When we get there they tell her their master mechanic doesnt actually work there that day and he says, Sorry for the inconvenience.I could not believe they sent her back out in the cold without a heated car because of a mistake that they made. Any decent person or business would find a car for her and let her keep it until the issue has been resoleved.I called customer service and let them know what had happened and they got ahold of the Appleton location, which we have always went to in the past, and they said bring it right over they will get it fixed as soon as possible and they have a car for us to use in the meantime. It was still an inconvenient since we had to drive a half hour both ways but at least she will have a heated car for the winter.This VW Bergstrom Oshkosh location has the worst customer service and management I have ever seen for a bergstrom dealer and we will not be going back there again.

I have two Fords and a VWI took my fords in for recalls and left completed on 20 min.Drove to Oshkosh and had to make a appointment to come back later in the week. Appears they dont have enough service techs to take care of the customers
