I was in need of a dryer but could not afford a brand new one so I went to haulbrooks. I ended up paying $270 for a used dryer. Once I got at home we discovered that it was not working we had to cycle through 4 times just to dry 1 load of clothes. The next day I returned this dryer, the 1 in the picture and ask for my money back. He refused to give me my money back that said that I could have $270 store credit. We do not give refunds, he told me. Looking at what this store has to offer there is nothing in there for $270 or less. I explained to him that theres nothing there for me to buy but he did not want to hear this period I left the dryer at their door and told them that I would like to talk to the owner. Later that day my sister got a call from the owner he stated that he will give us $270 store credit. Today we went to his store, he was very disrespectful talk down to us was Extremely Confrontational. After about 15 minutes of this we ended up Telling him that we dont want to buy anything in his store because its all Garbage and that we want nothing from him. I strongly recommend that nobody does business with this individual, I guess you get what you pay for if you buy garbage you get garbage. I very rarely get a badd review such as this Kind of business should not be tolerated in Oroville or anywhere else. He knew that this dryer did not work when he sold it, but would not admit it and surely would not give us our money back. Beware of this place

My sister and I bought a VERY comfortable couch from here today with the help from Levi. Levi was very informative and knowledgeable about the products that were in the store. He informed us of all extra services that were available and had us sold on quite a few.

Do not shop at this furniture store. I paid for a bedroom set and it took 6 months before I got the furniture. It also was the wrong size bed frame, and I did not receive the mattress I purchased, I got a cheap off brand from them.I also was given every excuse by the ownerTyler as to why it was taking months for my future to arrive. He would not refund my money! I ended up having to get the bed frame from the “showroom” just to end my nightmare. (This was way before Covid) Another thing worth mentioning is that he seems to go thorough a lot of drivers.

I was in need of a couch walked in and the t staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. When i met with Tyler the owner he was very professional and accommodating, he made sure i got my couches delivered within a few hours. When the delivery crew arrived they were again very friendly and accommodating, they even had to step over a few dogs and they took my old couches away as well. I will be be headed back for more furniture in the very near future. Thank you Tyler and team.

There website prices dont mean anything I was interested in a dryer for 459.00 taxes inc called the store the price was 509.00 with taxes the guy on the phone told me even if purchased at lower price online they would reject it and give me a refund then got a bunch of double talk mumbo jumbo, with that its hard for me to support local small biz. Had to wait quite a while to get mattress because TempurPedic company had issues getting my mattress to Holbrooks. Once Tyler finally got it he sent out his very friendly and professionalcrew to take away old bed and set up new one which was no easy task, as it included a huge heavy and very pretty wood frame, which Tyler special ordered for us. Even the delivery guys commented on how beautiful it is.I bet if Tyler set these beautiful frames up in his store with the mattresses in stock on the floor hed sell a bunch.

I give them no stars whatsoever. I put an order in for furniture almost seven weeks ago was supposed to have been delivered in 2 weeks and all I got was excuse after excuse then I got promise three days I gave him five went back and still nothing so I had to compromise because( as they wont give you your money back to spend elsewhere) and had no choice except to get another bedroom set that they had in a storage locker somewhere. So to make a long story short I wanted up having to cash in 2-bedroom Suites for one partial bedroom set and give them more money on top of it. And that was just to have some place to sleep after being in my new home for an entire month! Now what Im going to do about my second bedroom I have no idea. No stars not in my book as their delivery truck is late bringing me what I paid more money for today looks like Ill still be sleeping on the floor again tonight the only reason theres even one Stars they wouldnt let me post it without giving any stars at all

Tyler is knowledgeable friendly and was a huge help getting us the best deal possible on a new recliner. For a small fee they deliver and remove old furniture which was another plus. Highly recommended.Update: the same day delivery didnt happen as promised. Kind of a high expectations on New years Eve but I would have appreciated a phone call.Final Update: Got the recliner I ordered, nearly a week late, but it was because they were out of the protective stain-resistant coating I requested for the chair. Which is fine expect I wish they would have been straight forward about that a lot earlier. I was starting to get a little peeved that my same-day delivery turned in to several back and forth phone calls and a chair showing up nearly a week later than I anticipated.All the nice stuff I said still hold up though.

Changing my review, ordered a power frame and queen mattress set. I was told he wouldve order on Monday, I purchased on Sunday. Called on Tuesday as instructed to get estimated time of delivery. He hadnt ordered it yet. Called and called to get a delivery date, no answer. I went down there, waited to be served. We were told Monday or Tuesday of next week. Waited until Tuesday to call, called every hour for 5 hours. Finally got a person, I left 5 messages, no call back. Still no frame, offered the floor model, declined. So still waiting. Going in, service was great, getting what you paid for not so much. Personally I will never buy from them again.

Two very bad experiences here. Dishonest scam artists. Absolutely do not give these people any money until your furniture is IN YOUR POSESSION! Do not get delivery from them, you will be sorry! Learn from my 2 mistakes. There are great people in Oroville but not at this “business.”

The service was great. I needed a lift chair for my husband. Was able to buy over the phone, received same day delivery, and they moved furniture to get the new chair into the very spot desired, and removed old furniture. Great price and huge discount on July 4 and 5-year warranty. Extremely happy!

Better business bureau and small claims here I come. Bought a refrigerator in March 2018. It stopped working in December 2018. Still under warranty. Its now March 6, 2019. Has never even came out to look at it. I have made 12 attempts to get this resolved. Not a man of his word.

They gave me a really good deal on a mattress/box spring combo. I came in two hours before closing and they were still able to deliver it to my house and remove my old mattress. I’m definitely going to consider doing business with them in the future.

At first everything went well the guy working there was super friendly so we ordered a bed. He Said it would get there that Friday we went in Monday. It took almost 2 months to get our bed. Every time I went in for an update he was not as friendly as the first time. All I ever wanted were updates & not once did I get a call untill I brought it up to him he called me once after that. He shouldn’t have given me dates he couldn’t promise. I will not recommend this place to any of my friends or family & definitely won’t be going back. I’m not one to leave reviews but thought I should share my experience & it looks like this has happened to many other people. Not to mention I found the same bed online for half the price on Walmart & Amazon. Oh & he won’t let you cancel your orders unless you pay a restocking fee on items he doesn’t even have in stock in the first place!! EDIT!! I get NOTHING out of lying sir! I was not made aware of the “manufacture shipping” you yourself told me you guys had to pick it up from a warehouse. Good luck with everything & just be honest with people.

My Fiancee & I picked out a new couch & loveseat & refurbished washer & dryer just this past Saturday from Holbrooks Furniture off of Lincoln in Oroville Ca.The experience was great and the delivery was the very next business day, (today- Monday, about 4pm approx). The delivery went smoothly as well and my furniture was assembled and placed exactly as desired.Being as we werent in a huge hurry, Tyler HolBrook also went out of his way to make sure to rearrange his refurbishing schedule so as we could have a matching dryer for the washer we decided on so as we can have a matching set, to be delivered tomorrow (second business day after order placed.)Overall, we are very pleased with both our shopping experience as well as our new furniture. Tyler also made sure to educate us on all the included warranties as well.We will definitely be going back if & when we need any other furniture.Also due to the covid-19 shutdown, holbrooks floor is temporarily overstocked so prices are being slashed dramatically, another plus in such times of financial struggle

I wish I could go lower than just one star. My grandmother ordered a bedroom set that included a mirror and didn’t see the bed set for months. When she got it, they expected an old lady to put it in her home on her own and wasn’t going to help her until she spoke up. Everything was still not there like it should’ve been. After about a year and a half she finally got the mirror as well. The stuff that came in first only came in when it did because we were persistent at calling to get these things.

Then my bed and mattress were delivered 3 days later when I had been promised the very next day!!!I will be more than happy to pay extra for a bed At Any Other Furniture place other than Holbrooks clearance center in OROVILLE, CA. NOT the Chico store! The Chico store is great and I should have gone there!

Sold us a love seat that was stated to be high quality broke down within 7 months. When we took information about it to the store we were told the company would be notified since there is a one year warranty. It’s been 5-6 weeks since we first notified them, 3 since we checked in and still nothing. Will not recommend this business.

I apologize for previously giving this business a five star rating. I ordered a washer and dryer from this place over 2 1/2 months ago. I have received the run around for why my order hasn’t arrived . The couple times they have actually answered my calls when trying to check on my order the owner has told me “just a couple more days”. It’s been close to 3 months and I’ve finally cancelled my order and Tyler won’t even respond to calls or emails confirming that he has cancelled my order. I wish I would have asked around and did my research on the business before Making such a big purchase from here to only be let down. Very unprofessional and I would never recommend anyone doing business here!

Delivery takes a little longer than youre told at purchasing but its easy to understand why. They need another truck. Lol.Went up and spoke with a guy, didnt get his name but he had a gap in an eyebrow, and told him i was pregnant waiting sleeping on my floor and he guarenteed HE personally would make sure it was delivered. He did.The delivery guys are very fast. Likely due to so many deliveries. Was going to offer ice cold water bottles but they were already gone.Cant wait to go back for sports chair i want to get next.Good job guys.. And seriously wow those delivery guys are fast unloading.
