This place is a complete joke!!!!! Illiterate and incompetent crew of people that think you owe them something before you even buy anything. Went to Apria and they took care of me immediately. I promise you. Dont waste your time with these clowns. I should have looked at the other negative reviews before wasting my time. Wont happen again!!

Awful!, Terrible, unprofessional- they dont follow up with a placed order. When I followed up with my order after 3 x the rep. informed me the order was canceled? By who? Then I was transferred to the extension that resolves this, The voice machine came on I left a message and never got a call back regarding my order or supposed cancellation, rude! Dont use them you wont get anything resolved. I am the caregiver for my mom imagine someone in her 80s trying to understand the lack of communication or any sort of lack of service, extremely sad.I have to highlight 1 star in order to post this/Not deserving of any star but in order to post this I am obligated to post 1 star even though not true of any STAR

I had previously used them twice for myself and my wife, but third time is the charm!! I had, and solved over the phone, a billing problem, but when I showed up to the store, it was a different story. Their customer service is not about the customer. I will never go there for anything every again. Do not trust what they tell you about co-pays and how much you should pay and what portion the insurance will pay. They flat out lied to me.

Very poor communication. This company has multiple departments which together failed my family. Upon our mom passing we called them to pick up a transport chair. One department would return the call to us about the chair. Then that department would tell us that the pickup department would call us the next day but they never did. This happened seven times. We actually started to joke about it amongst family members. They keep poor records, if any, of each communication. Eventually they told us they dont pick up and We had to drive to Orlandoo to return it ourselves.

Ordered diabetic shoes 3 months ago when I called to inquire about them I was told they no longer ordered shoes didnt understand why?they could not have informed me i had to start the process all over from scratch very poor business practice

I know expectations of a company and it’s customers service very from person to person.my experience with colonial medical was very good. From the people that welcomed you at the entrance to the service department. The ladies in the service department and insurance were pleasant to work with and know their stuff ! The service technician come out to the lobby to help me with a part that I had a question about.they have earned my respect and business !Thanks guys,Stan king

Do yourself a favor and don’t visit this location. Worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. No sense of urgency and no desire to help customer through the paperwork process.You go there because you are looking for a medical prescribed aid to help you with a condition. You would think they would be mindful of this. Well not at this location, that’s why I strongly recommend you go elsewhere. It really can’t be any worst than Colonial Medical Supplies on the corner of Orange & Gore.

Great customer service and balance of acknowledging people coming in. Went in on 3/30/18 inquiring on wheelchair and how it works with medicaid/medicare. They were patient and catered to all who walked through the doors. It was a good flow of people coming in around noon and 2pm. Gentleman I spoke to was very informative. Only info that was left out was the option of size. Was told elsewhere that these wheelchairs come in 16 / 18 / 20 inches in seat width. Good to know!

James and the team at the Orlando store have always been so flexible and accommodating to my wifes needs. James always is so personable and has everything ready for me when I come to pick up what I need. I simply make a call 20-30 minutes ahead when Im on my way in and they always have what I need in stock. Once I arrive all I have to do is sign, pay and go. Total time in the store is less than 5 minutes. Thanks James and team for always being so good to my family.

How to save 80% over what this store charges! I have been into this store for years buying high end compression stockings. Now the Dr ask me to get some tubigrip tube compression in width E. I go in and they tell me they will not measure my leg for length size. I call the Advent Health Vascular surgeons office they tell me thats crazy and tell me to go online. I call and ask for the manager and they put me through to the customer service manager and she says she will have the sales manager call from the store, but they never do. So I found it 80% cheaper online...this store customer service is worst I have seen in Orlando in eons.....

Shame the website isnt friendly nor is the mail in system during a health pandemic. I have the funds however use snail mail. During this pandemics Ive relief on snail mail only to be charged additional fees from these scum bags I now show NOT to do business with & have to admit to my Dr he was right.

Employees acted like they were doing me a big favor by letting me patronize them. I did not place my $600 order with them after all, although I thoroughly intended to when I entered the store. I asked some yes or no questions and basically got grunts with no eye contact for responses. I asked for an insurance application and the person behind the counter stood up, got the form from a few feet away, set it on the counter in front of me, sat back down and continued what he was doing before without any verbal acknowledgement of my request, or even of my presence. I am taking my business elsewhere, and suggest that others consider doing the same.

If I could give them zero I would, but the one lady that waited on me was at least kind.You walk in and there is no business; indicative of no cars in the parking lot. yet all employees about 4-5 are standing around the cash register chatting. So now you feel that you have to tell all of them your business.I bought a seat cushion, which is not a personal care item. It was too large and would slip. I paid 40. Could have gotten it on line cheaper, had I known. I tried to return it in the package with receipts and tag still on it after 1 use and was told it was a personal care item and I could not return it. I asked for the owners name and number and was given a card (again by multiple folks standing at the cash register) with the name Audra and her extension. When I called, it said it was HR, therefore not the owner. I LM and was never called back.

Colonial Medical Supply is totally incompetent!We tried to get a hospital bed delivered for Monday (it was ordered on Friday) and they submitted the claim to Medicare and not the insurance company information that was given to them. They never called anyone when they had difficulties. About 2:00 I found out what had happened through the care center that ordered it. I set up a three way call between the memory care center and the insurance company and the insurance rep then called Colonial and resolved that problem They waited until Colonial submitted the claim and received the approval. Unfortunately they would not deliver it that same day even though they were at fault.My mother was anxious to get out of the rehab center to the memory care center and was so disappointed we were able to work out a loaner bed so she could move. The loaner bed allowed her to move but was far from ideal for my mom. It was supposed to be a temporary fix until the next morning.Colonial promised to deliver right after all the oxygen deliveries. They tried to deliver it to my home, and not the memory care center they clearly had the address for. They did try to call (according to them) but had a wrong phone number or something so that was useless. It wasnt until 3:00 today that I followed up on it and found out they had again messed up on the order. Again they refused to make amends and deliver it today even though it was clearly their fault so they have no conscience and no care to customer service. I hate to tell them that medical supply places are a dime-a-dozen and I would never go to a Colonial store or supplier again.So we wait until tomorrow to see if they actually get it right and deliver it in the morning. I do not recommend using Colonial Supply at all:1. Incompetence in getting the information on medical orders correct2. Unfeeling: they feel no need to make it right for the patients that are depending on them and dont care if you get the delivery or not.3. Incompetence in delivery; delivering to the wrong address and not calling the requesting agency or trying to find anyone to let them know of the problem! (incompetently entered the wrong phone number)

I went early in the morning to return an item. They did not return my money because they have no cash at the counter cos it was early in the morning. There is nothing stated about no returns in the morning in their policies.On top of that the staff was completely rude when dealing with my request. The woman at the cashier said It is not my problem to deal with your customers issues.

Terrible customer service. I just got back from a appointment at colonial medical to replace my power wheelchair battery and to diagnose a wheelchair problem. I was told I would have to transfer out of the wheelchair in order for them to work on it.. In 50 years I have never been to asked to do this. They said it was the technicians policy because of liability. There is much more of a liability issue for me to transfer out of my chair. I could not reason with them and it was a very frustrating appointment. I will never use them again.

Worst company every to deal with they are over charging people extra money after your insurance has said you are covered 100% for medical supplies saying its an inhancement fee when its not cause you need the larger size that is discrimination towards a person weight. I had to keep calling up there to get status on my account never got a call from them, Then called and was told o yeah its approved you can come to pick it up was shocked considering I never got a call that it was ready and then to be told I owe money when I called my insurance and was told its covered with no out of pocket for me but yet colonial medical telling me I still have to pay a inhancement fee for the larger size. Complete ripp offs trying to get double money I suggest any one run away from this place they have no customer service skills and are crooks

This place is trash. Rachel is rude, inconsiderate, and a liar. She paid google to list them first on a google search and claims that she offers what I need and does not have what I need. Waste of time. Go elsewhere. I hate leaving bad reviews. This situation however, has been been taken to far and I have to speak up.

Never EVER use colonial medical supply. The staff is horrible and unprofessional, there is zero accountability and they are the biggest lying crooks I have ever dealt with in my life. It is a shame that people with disabilities or people needing medical equipment are left with them for a choice of supplier. They should have all of their licensing and certifications pulled. I have personally called and wrote letters and they refuse to respond to any inquiries but are quick to send my a bill for service that they lied and billed to both my insurance providers. The bill is addressed to Matthew do not service camarato. How professional! They have one manager, Sarah, who refuses to deal with clients in a professional way and an owner, David, who has never responded to a single inquiry from me regarding their management. They have stolen my personal medical equipment, calling it their loaner property when I purchased it cash of Craigslist and brought to them for service and had promised to put me in a new power chair since the previous 5 chairs they placed me in were improperly fitted BY THEM! They used every and all benefits from my insurance and still sent me a bill for $4000 for a power chair I can order direct from the manufacturer for only $2200.AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!

I get a monthly Gevity delivery that rarely is done without a hassle. The computer calls and says delivery is coming and I have to call, due to the fact that there is a disconnect somewhere in the system.Florida Hospital Home Infusion made the delivery for years and I never had any problem ever.

I have used Colonial Medical in the past for various medical assistance products and had great service in the store several years ago. Avoid their website - I ordered the same product twice and never received the item. Yesterday I called the store and was told it was a 3rd party website and they dont control what is on the site or any customer service issues related to same. Then when I asked if someone could help me on the phone to get the bedrail that I need (ASAP) I was told I have to come into the store - they cant help me over the phone. I dont live in town, so that is not an immediate possibility. This time, I will be calling another supplier who will work to really assist me. Unfortunately, both in store people I talked to yesterday could care less about my problem.

I guess it depends on what day you go to the store to get great customer service. I went into the store to get a bedside commode for my mother and was told that I had to fill out the paperwork. Once I completed it I was then told that I could pick it up the following week. The lady at the front acted like she didnt even want to be there and was not friendly at all. I waited two weeks for a call and nothing. I then decided to call to follow up and was on hold for 5 minutes to then be blindly transferred. The lady on the other end, an older lady, said you were transferred to me how can I help. When I stated who I was the lady on the other line stated that my mom could not receive the bedside commode since she received one in 2012 from medicare and that they only replace it every 5 years. She never once apologized about no one calling me to let me know. When I asked her why no one called she then stated well she told the orange avenue store. I said okay but still no one called to let me know and she said well I told the store and they were suppose to call. She never apologized or offered another alternative, like putting money into the store and offering what they had.I mean I totally get it with medicare, but its the principal and customer service. Especially since I had been sitting around waiting two weeks for you to contact me about pick up. I know things happen and we are all humans and can make mistakes. A simple offer to assist would have suffice.Just FYI Colonial Medical GREAT customer service would have never placed the blame anywhere and handled the situation. She could of said I am sorry and went through the other different options like.... since she had gotten one in 2012 and its not available through medicare we do carry them in the store at this cost of XYZ if you would like to purchase one out of pocket.I think your team needs to either get customer service skill classes or find another job if they are not happy!

I have been using LINCARE for my supplies. They SUCK. Please take my advise and do not use them, you will regret it - story to long for here. So that brings me to C.M.S. in my search of many vendors. Im putting CMS on hold for now but not out - after reviewing the reviews. I come from a line of business owners and I can tell you even 1, 1* is unacceptable and I do understand that you cant make everyone happy, but you certainly can go the one step further. I may still use you, Im taking days or weeks if I have to to find the right vendor. I hope this is of some help to all parties. Anyone who reads this: re-read my 1st two sentences and be warned about LINCARE.

I called Colonial Medical Supply to find out if they had a particular stethoscope in stock. I reached their central switchboard and was transferred to the Orlando store since it is closest to me. The phone rang until it eventually stopped and an electronic voice said, Goodbye. I called back and got the same thing. I called again, and while first in line on hold, my call was dropped. I called a forth time, and when the operator answered I explained to her the above, and she told me that was a very busy store, and the salespeople probably just didnt have time to answer my call; that I might need to just go to the store, or she could transfer me to the Altamonte store. I thanked her and said, no, I would just find another medical supply store. And she said, Okay.
